Obsessed. My favorite restaurant. We've been going here for years. We always try to order something new and we're never disappointed. Our favorite rolls are 2020, slow your roll, lemon drop, chipotle tuna, and el japo. Fish is fresh and rolls are flavorful. Also love the new japo taco! Staff are always attentive and friendly. Can't recommend Sushi delight enough!

Another fabulous meal with great service at Sushi Delight! Using the waitlist system our table was immediately available upon arrival. We were warmly treated by Jerry himself and seated in a comfortable booth (requested). I decided to try a new roll I saw on their IG page, The Sakura Roll - since I don't eat spicy tuna they were able to swap salmon for me - I told Jerry this is my new favorite roll!

My girlfriend and I frequent sushi delight. The sushi quality is amazing, however, I recently discovered I have a fish allergy so this spot is great for me because they have so many other options! I typically get the chicken teriyaki bowl and house salad. When I tell you they LOAD the chicken up, you will be shocked by the amount of chicken. They don't play! I always have leftovers which is great because the teriyaki flavor is delightful and the chicken is always cooked very well (no weird scary pieces either). The house salad dressing is my absolute favorite. I usually ask for an extra side of the dressing because it's THAT good. Pro tip: check in online via Yelp because the wait time can be up to 2 hours!

First time here yesterday. We joined the waitlist via the Yelp app because we heard from one of our friends that the place gets packed after 4pm. The place is small but they're able to turn tables fast. Food was good, nothing outstanding. We ordered 3 rolls of sushi, calamari tempura and 2 glasses of water and paid around $70 + tip. Not sure I'd make an effort to drive here again because there are many other sushi places in the area.

Blue fin toro with a yuzu truffle oil... what?

Customer service -10 Food -10 Cleanliness-10 Atmosphere -10 We went on a Thursday at about 1700, and were seated immediately. Our server, AJ, was/ is the bomb. He took care of all our requests and then some including recommending freshly grated wasabi ( xtra) which was, as he noted, a game changer. All the food we had was fresh, ample in portion, and as flavorful as it gets. Beer- ice cold!!! The blue fin toro w yuzu and truffle oil was insanely good and highly recommended. All the nigiri was extremely fresh and bright in flavor. That wasabi.... Wow. All the flavor, minimal heat. But the real star was our server AJ. He made our experience top notch and will keep us returning. Thanks AJ. See ya soon. Everyone else , come here EAT SUSHI!!!

The cut roll was really good and was not similar to anything else I've had before in terms of sushi. Lots of unique rolls here and they all see to be great! 4/5 The nigiri however was just okay. Total was around $40 and I was full, but I feel other places are better. I am more of a nigiri based sushi person however. If you like cut rolls though definitely check this place out if you're in the area as you may appreciate it more than me! Service was great, always asking if we needed anything. They had a couple tvs playing Laker game.

I've always been in search of the best sushi in the South Bay, I'm not sure why I never tried this place but I'm glad I did. We did our annual girls night out at sushi delight, and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was fresh and made to order, the sushi was probably the best I've ever had, and as busy as it was on a Monday night, service was excellent. Will definitely be back.

As my dad would say, let's get some "soochi" ! This is my second time coming to this spot, I tried some new rolls I haven't before and here's how it went. I was craving something with jalapeño slices on it.. I think there was 2 rolls that had it. I ended up ordering the Cajun roll. Now... I didn't read the description of this roll at all. I saw a picture, saw a jalapeño and said yes that one! Oh boy. This is why we read fellas. I didn't realize it was with Cajun seasoning!! I was so confused about what I was eating. The combination is not for the faint of heart. I still ate it but I was not a fan at all of the Cajun roll. It tasted like what I imagine a seafood boil tastes like. But it doesn't take away from the fact she was fresh and quality made~ just the flavor threw me off bad. The dragon roll, a classic, a sushi beginners friend. I loved her she was tasty, and beautiful. Definitely a reorder for sure. The crunch roll, another classic. This one was also a good roll with quality ingredients. Everything was made well, packed with flavor and quality. Sushi quality is super duperrrr important and I'm happy I can rely on sushi delight for providing such quality rolls. Service was good! We had a switch in servers midway but they both were kind to us. I was basically a sushi roll by the time I left.. I needed to be rolled out. Ample parking in the plaza, the place is small so you might have to wait on busier nights ! It is cute, feeling more intimate by how it is dark inside.

Great place for sushi, haven't been in a while aside from today, but it's been a good experience every visit. It gets pretty crowded but middle of the week can be a good time to visit. The place is clean with dim lighting and an intimate atmosphere, doesn't reek with fishy odors and the service is good here. Today we kept it simple 3 orders of blue fin nigiri, and two rolls, the tiger roll and Lexus roll. The nigiri was ok, not as fresh as some places but the rolls are amazing. I always feel overwhelmed when ordering since every thing looks amazing. I've tried a few different rolls. By the way the presentation of the food is always fun and delightful to look at. My kids have tried the mochi ice cream for dessert and if not a fan of sushi they also have teriyaki. One of my favorite sushi spots around.

    Debbie F.

At one point, this place was our weekly obsession. It is still one of our favorite sushi spots, but schedules don't allow us to visit weekly anymore. We still try to get here once a month and it sure never disappoints. Being able to join a wait list in advance of arrival is huge. One of the many things we love about this place. Service is always phenomenal! Not one complaint about any dish (and we have tried a good portion of the menu). Loving the new rolls they've added to the menu. Years after first trying this place, it is still amazing! They have a points system to earn rewards which is tracked by your phone number once you receive the receipt. Don't forget to fill that in as points add up fast for rewards.

Very busy spot, added our name to the waitlist and we waited an hour on a Monday night. I think they forgot about us, because when I went in there were several tables, but we had been checked in for quite some time. They were supposed to text us and we never got one, but several tables were open when we checked back in to see how long, after already waiting an hour. Portions are big and prices are affordable. I can see why it's so popular. It's Americanized sushi which isn't my favorite. But overall still good for what it is. Everything we got we liked, I didn't like how strong the mustard was on the Crabby roll. It would have been better without it. They have mustard in several rolls, which I'm not a fan of. The spicy tuna definitely has a kick. I would return and try a few new ones. We got the crispy spicy tuna and the OMG was spicy, it felt like a lot of heat. It's nice to have non-spicy rolls to take the edge off. Good luck getting in on a weekend!

Quick and friendly service. Cozy but not cramped which I appreciate. The fish was super fresh and tasty and great quality. Will definitely be back for more! Sashimi was amazing. The specific roll we got lacked a bit of flavor but was still really well made and fresh- all their other rolls looked and sounded great

    Unagi,yellowtail and salmon
    Lauretta N.

I've been to this place many times and the food is consistently good. I'm a basic sushi eater meaning nigiri ....salmon,yellowtail,unagi and California roll. None of the rolls that have many combinations of ingredients. That being said the sushi is good but the best deal is their salmon collar. Previously and this time it was buy one get one free. A great deal! Service is average. I had to request wasabi and ginger. They were busy but that's one of the basics for a sushi meal.

We wanted to sit at a table, rather than the counter. I learned this place stays open late on the weekends and this is where many restaurant staff come to eat! This place is tiny, yet cozy. The tables are placed a bit close, but you still have privacy. She shared the gyoza which was crispy on the outside and flavorful inside. One friend ordered the yakisoba and I tasted it which was very good, I will order it next time. My other friend ordered the mabo tofu which I also had a chance to taste and I could easily understand why my friend says this dish is her comfort food. Today we decided to revisit the restaurant for old time's sake. Inside, the main wall was repainted with a new mural. The annual LA Marathon posters, pinned by the staff who participated in the events, were also gone. Nonetheless, it retained its traditional izakaya décor with its counter seating alongside some regular tables. The staff were all new but still very courteous and brought the menu and water right away. New items were added but the core dishes remained the same. For this visit, we ordered our regular items and they arrived in 10 minutes: Eboshi Mini Trio with Shio Ramen, Fried Rice and Gyoza: The fried rice was still top notch, with slightly firm texture, not too oily, and pleasantly seasoned. The Shio Ramen with its clear broth was nicely savory. The thin noodles were cooked perfectly, and the chashu pieces were tender. To complement the set, the gyozas with their delicate wraps had nicely burnt bottoms, and flavorful fillings. Champon Ramen: A complex ramen with an assortment of meat, veggies and seafood. There were sliced pork pieces, shrimps, squids, cabbage, onions, snow peas and many more. The clear broth was quite savory and enriched by oil from sauteed ingredients. The noodles had a very nice texture and were a tad al dente. We were amazed that after all these years, the restaurant retained its original taste and flavor. We found out the reason why while exiting the restaurant: The young cook from two decades ago is now running the open kitchen as head chef. Great food and still reasonable prices. It was totally worth revisiting.

We walked in right on time for our reservation (because we're adults who respect the space-time continuum) and were ushered into a booth with "privatey" curtains. I'm not saying they'd hide you from the FBI, but they certainly provided enough cover for us to giggle and navigate stupidly through the menu. You can also order directly to a friendly human too.
