This place a local gem. I'm not even really that big of a sushi fan, but this place is excellent. Great prices, great selection, and terrific service. You can tell the place is always full of regulars, and there's good reason for that. We just had dinner there as a family a couple nights ago and it was packed and and busy, but the food came out quickly and we were attended to the entire time. We had a decent spread with a handful of rolls (the baja rolls are terrific), some tempura, and a chicken teriyaki bento. Everything was tasty and fresh, and I'd happily order any of it again. And I have to give a special thanks to our server, April. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. She really took care of us the entire night, and even went so far as to hold our one year old when he escaped from our table a couple of times. The fact that our little guy instinctively knew that she was good people and trustworthy enough to jump in her arms summed up how we all felt about the service. I was at Sushi Delight for lunch a couple weeks ago. We got there just as they were opening. Service was great, and so was the food! The ambiance was very warm and welcoming. Looking around as we were finishing up, every table was filled and people were starting to wait outside (This was on a Wed!) I visited again a week ago, this time for dinner. There was a large crowd of people waiting. Good thing we made reservations! I believe they can make reservations if you have a party of 6 or more. We had 9 in our party. The place was packed, the music and people talking created a more fun and lively environment. And the service with a group our size was still on point. The servers were great with helping what to order, and they occasionally walked by and always asked how were doing and if we needed anything else. I got to meet the owner, Jerry, who was busy making sure everyone in the entire establishment was doing well, and still made time to chat a bit. Definitely 5 STARS!! My girlfriend and I frequent sushi delight. The sushi quality is amazing, however, I recently discovered I have a fish allergy so this spot is great for me because they have so many other options! I typically get the chicken teriyaki bowl and house salad. When I tell you they LOAD the chicken up, you will be shocked by the amount of chicken. They don't play! I always have leftovers which is great because the teriyaki flavor is delightful and the chicken is always cooked very well (no weird scary pieces either). The house salad dressing is my absolute favorite. I usually ask for an extra side of the dressing because it's THAT good. The cut roll was really good and was not similar to anything else I've had before in terms of sushi. Lots of unique rolls here and they all see to be great! 4/5 The nigiri however was just okay. Total was around $40 and I was full, but I feel other places are better. I am more of a nigiri based sushi person however. As my dad would say, let's get some "soochi" ! This is my second time coming to this spot, I tried some new rolls I haven't before and here's how it went. I was craving something with jalapeño slices on it.. I think there was 2 rolls that had it. I ended up ordering the Cajun roll. Now... I didn't read the description of this roll at all. I saw a picture, saw a jalapeño and said yes that one! Oh boy. This is why we read fellas. I didn't realize it was with Cajun seasoning!! I was so confused about what I was eating. The combination is not for the faint of heart. I still ate it but I was not a fan at all of the Cajun roll. It tasted like what I imagine a seafood boil tastes like. But it doesn't take away from the fact she was fresh and quality made~ just the flavor threw me off bad. The dragon roll, a classic, a sushi beginners friend. I loved her she was tasty, and beautiful. Definitely a reorder for sure. The crunch roll, another classic. This one was also a good roll with quality ingredients. Great place for sushi, haven't been in a while aside from today, but it's been a good experience every visit. It gets pretty crowded but middle of the week can be a good time to visit. The place is clean with dim lighting and an intimate atmosphere, doesn't reek with fishy odors and the service is good here. Today we kept it simple 3 orders of blue fin nigiri, and two rolls, the tiger roll and Lexus roll. The nigiri was ok, not as fresh as some places but the rolls are amazing. I always feel overwhelmed when ordering since every thing looks amazing. I've tried a few different rolls. By the way the presentation of the food is always fun and delightful to look at. Very busy spot, added our name to the waitlist and we waited an hour on a Monday night. I think they forgot about us, because when I went in there were several tables, but we had been checked in for quite some time. They were supposed to text us and we never got one, but several tables were open when we checked back in to see how long, after already waiting an hour. Portions are big and prices are affordable. I can see why it's so popular. It's Americanized sushi which isn't my favorite. But overall still good for what it is. Everything we got we liked, I didn't like how strong the mustard was on the Crabby roll. It would have been better without it. They have mustard in several rolls, which I'm not a fan of. The spicy tuna definitely has a kick. I would return and try a few new ones. We got the crispy spicy tuna and the OMG was spicy, it felt like a lot of heat. Took my wife out for lunch today and we decided to lunch at Sushi Delight. We started on the mixed tempura. This is always a treat. Nice and fresh. We were asked to try a new item Called Japo Taco. It was very good with fresh tuna, jalapeños, green onions and guacamole on a corn tortilla. Crunchy but it broke up too easy. Might be better as tuna nachos. Next we ordered a Lemon Drop roll. What is a trip to a sushi restaurant without the premium orders, so I ordered Tuna, which was a fresh cut of real tuna, yellowtail, salmon eggs and my ever favorite smelt eggs.. The sunomono was good, but it seemed like they pickle the cucumber way ahead of time. The mixed tempura was pretty bland and the batter on the shrimp was completely different than the mixed vegetables. It seemed like they use the frozen shrimp tempura because of the different batter and very straight appearance of the shrimp. The sushi lacked something. Our first visit knocked it out of the park. We loved that the Dodgers were on the big screens. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive. Was more of a wait than I anticipated on a week night so next time we will join the waitlist on Yelp. We started with the mixed tempura and the cucumber salad - both were excellent. The cucumber salad was especially delicious with simple ingredients and the perfect vinegar bite. Then we ordered several rolls for the table. The Aloha was our overall favorite with a spicy kick that we loved. The Lemon Drop was a citrusy delight and a must if you love salmon. Caterpillar is a long time favorite. We were seated it was still fairly empty then the crow started strolling . Everyone who came in after us were attended to first . Came by for a dinner for a casual outing and checked in with the kiosk. We were seated immediately. 7pm dinner while the Monday night football game was on. Went with my classic YG roll - comes with tuna, salmon, and imitation crab with soy paper - topped with avocado and tobiko. Love this roll as my new favorite but the Sakura roll has a special place in my heart when I want that shrimp tempura roll selection. Also ordered the Japanese Scallop nigiri, and husband ordered the Bento Box teriyaki combo (non spicy). We wanted a dessert today, so we ordered the tempura banana sundae with vanilla ice cream (choice of chocolate, green tea, and vanilla) and wow we were blown away!!! Super light but crispy tempura, HOT banana mixed well with the temperature of the cold ice cream, with chocolate drizzle and powdered sugar. Four banana pieces over a generous fat scoop of ice cream. It was the ripest banana ever - it was perfect. We don't order dessert here often but if we do, it's gotta be the banana tempura. Excited to come back on our next date night or casual dinner out - we always love our familiar faces and cozy ambiance. I would refer to sushi delight as a "roll sushi" joint as opposed to an omakase type nigiri sushi place. Their rolls are OUT OF THIS WORLD! Sushi delight has the BEST spicy tuna crispy rice I've ever had. Another favorite roll of mine is their Aloha roll but I sub the tuna for salmon. Soooooo bomb. The servers are always friendly here as well and the food comes out quick!! Whenever I'm craving sushi rolls I always come here, it's definitely the best spot. Their fried mushroom with kani salad is also really good as is their 2020 roll I think it was! I heard of this place through a friend and when I saw the amount of reviews i had to try it. The place has plenty of parking which is shared with multiple other restaurants and a grocery store. I went in for lunch around 1pm and there was plenty of seating. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. There's a god size television which had on ESPN. The food was not delayed and came out within a couple minutes of ordering. The food was great, with a variety of rolls and other items to choose from. We started with the chicken teriyaki, seaweed salad and dynamite as appetizers. They were all great!! Then we got the yellowtail yuzu with a SAUCE YOU SHOULD CHUG!! The waiter told us to ask for extra next time for extra dipping. YUMMY! Next we got 2 rolls, the lemon drop and the chipotle tuna roll. I love it when sushi restaurants have tons of options without imitation crab and sushi delight checks all the boxes. The lemon drop had lemon slices on top with the rind removed so you can just pop the whole thing in your mouth. LOVE THAT! The chipotle tuna was not spicy at all.
