Quick service, get in and get out. Brisket was too fatty for our liking and the burger with Muenster was okay. Ambiance loud and bustling.

Absolutely amazing BBQ.... Started the meal with a Stateline Sazerac which was super unique but delicious compared to a normal Sazerac. One of the best briskets I've ever had (Top 3) that came with great sauces as well. Cornbread was phenomenal. Shrimp n Grits was a huge serving size and always was great. Brussels Sprouts were the highlight of the meal, hands down best I've ever had. Would highly recommend this spot. read more

Beautiful restaurant with amazing food. They were quick to resolve a food issue, and were very kind. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it would have been nice to have been told that their sparkling water is $10/bottle. The sparkling water is good, but we would have chosen differently if there was clarity in the pricing, such as listing it on the menu. Other than that, everything else was top-notch! This place is really busy! And trying to find parking was a serious pain! But the food made me forget all of that. I had the beef rib and it was one of the best beef ribs I've ever had! Huge portion and full of flavor. I was immensely satisfied by how tender the meat was. The restaurant sits by the water so the views were pleasant during our meal. The only thing we noticed was the portion on the beef brisket. It didn't seem like the amount of brisket we got was as much as other photos we had seen online. Our portion was very thinly sliced. First visit to this place was a bit of a disaster. There wasn't an order online for pick up or delivery option, which is problematic because parking at the Wharf on Friday night is rough. But after driving around for 30 mins, we finally parked and went to bar to place to go order. Here are my issues : 1. My card was charged twice-once for my order and a second time for another party's order. So getting that resolved was a challenge! 2. I got home and 2 sides were missing. Yes I should've checked bag but I wasn't sure my parking spot was legal and needed to rush out after the bill fiasco took extra time to resolve. 3. The portions of the sides are extremely small and the tandoori chicken looked nothing like the pics on instagram. Instead of quarters, they appeared to be party drumettes. Corn bread was dry. The pickles and onions were not fresh. 4. Overall overpriced. Bill was just shy of $200. And for amount vs quantity and quality of food, I would not go back I will say the ribs were delicious.... Highly recommend making a reservation if you're coming on a weekend - thankfully we had a reservation but they were turning everyone away who didn't have one. I agree with others, service is slow. We waited a while for our server to stop by our table between meals. Started off with the biscuits which were delicious. For our mains, I got the burger and my husband got the tandoori chicken. I asked for no tomato's on my burger but it still came with one. The fries on the side were just ok, I will probably get something else as a side if I come again. Burger was delicious. The tandoori chicken was good, it had a slight different taste to it than traditional tandoori chicken but we still enjoyed it. The 1 tiny piece of bread that was served with it was not it. Heavy charred flavor did not compliment the dish at all. For dessert, we got the Lotus Tiramisu which I would skip and go for the bread pudding instead. Bonus points for most of the menu being halal! Visited during weekend brunch and sat in the patio area which is both indoor/outdoor. The service was prompt and our server provided great recommendations. We were able to order off both the dinner and brunch menus and I had the passionfruit mockarita, salmon entree, and crispy shrimp appetizer. The food was well presented and tasted very well. We did order a deviled egg appetizer that did not come out to the table prior to the entrees. The restaurant is spacious with a moderately lively atmosphere. Kinfolk is a beautiful restaurant with a huge extended outdoor enclosure that will keep you cool but also let you sit out along the waterfront. The food is top-notch. #FathersDay2024 First, I have to share how BEAUTIFUL this restaurant is. I LOVE the decor from the foyer to the silverware and e'rything in between. KUDOS to their designer, contractor, architect, etc. Also, the presentation of all the entrees and signature drinks were AMAZING. TWO thumbs up! Butttt, that's where my compliments end. My husband and I recite: "we came, we saw, conquered" fairly often after our adventures. Unfortunately, it's usually after the more unpleasant ones. *Sigh* My husband and I actually (indirectly) know the owner but I still have to be honest and share my displeasure with the service and SOME of the food. The service I will chalk up to just inexperience. Our server was not rude or unfriendly ... just slow and aloof ... not engaging at all. My husband totally enjoyed his chicken and waffles but the macaroni and cheese (not flavorful and wayyy too small of a portion for that price point), salmon eggs Benedict (that is NOT Hollandaise sauce and the eggs on both plates were wayyy too undercooked), home fries (not flavorful and wayyy too undercooked), and pork skins (nothing screams restaurant worthy) need to be revamped. Perhaps the kitchen was overwhelmed and they were rushing to stay ahead of the crowd?!?! Admittedly, this was not a deal breaker ... we must/will return to try the gumbo, chopped pork, fried oysters, deviled eggs and classic Margarita. Nice brunch at the Warf! I started off with the strawberry cocktail and it was delicious and refreshing. Next, we got the cornbread for the table. It came with a salted honey butter and it melted in your mouth. Very flavorful! I ordered the brisket hash as my entree. The brisket was diced into small pieces and mixed with potatoes with a fried egg on top. The brisket was good, but scarce. I felt like there wasn't much added so this left more to be desired. My husband got the biscuits and gravy which came with delicious hash browns. I enjoyed his food more than my own. This was not a cheap brunch... but nothing at the Warf is affordable. The service was slowwwww... but I enjoyed my food and would like to return to try more of their menu items (the chicken and waffles looks sooooo good, and their dinner menu looks impressive. We Had to devil eggs you can taste the mustard I've had better in my kitchen, we had biscuits they are delicious. The crabcakes too much Cajun seasoning on them and shrimp and grits. I give them a seven out of 10 fried shrimp. That's the best thing with the biscuits. We're very disappointed with the food was three of us and everybody had something to say about how disappointed . It took so long that even though we left our names at 1:28pm, we didn't get seated until 2:29pm and they absolutely, positively refused to serve us from the brunch menu. Our waitress asked the manager and he gave a definitive head shake. Despite this, we ordered from the lunch menu and, while the portions were petite, the macaroni and cheese was creamy inside and crunchy on top. The tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich were perfectly paired and the crab cake sandwich was passable. A bit of remoulade would've greatly improved it. The hush puppies were accompanied by a green sauce which made almost anything it touched spectacular and the Brussels sprouts with honey and vinaigrette were the star of the meal. They were out of the brisket we'd hoped to sample and I'm not sure we would return. Our waitress tried to be accommodating but overall, the service felt a bit pretentious with guests feeling as though it was rushed and they were just another check. Had the crab dip as an appetizer and they really make sure to add a lot of crab to the dip. Maybe a pinch of old bay but it was still pretty tasty. The star for me was the brisket. It was flavored and smoked to perfection. It was very tender and juicy. The sides were ok. The potato salad was very tangy could use a little sugar to balance the flavor. The esquites were a good side dish. Kinfolk restaurant settings absolutely beautiful. Rustic mix of outdoor and modern settings for the decor. The restaurant itself is nicely spaced out. You don't feel like you are on top of your rigor even tho they have a ton of tables. Definitely would recommend and try this place again. read more
