Was not happy with this dealership. I was lied to about a no money down deal. I called numerous times and ask what was needed other than the usual (id, paystub, etc). I asked about credit and was told that you all weren't look at credit. So like a fool I wasted my time on a fools errand to be told I was turned down. I wasn't surprised, i kind of expected it. However, what did surprise me was that I got turned down as fast as I applied, it took a while to be told so. I don't appreciate being lied to or wasting my time. I would NEVER EVER recommend this dealership! First, sales rep never introduced himself. Second, he lied and told me he couldn't find the car I came in looking for but was really outside trying to get the car to start & never came back to us. When the second sales person finally came over, he tried to cover up the lie & sell us a car that doesn't start (the same car we came in to see). Not only did I spend 1.5 hrs looking at a empty desk, I did not test drive or even see a vehicle yet they ran all my information & caused issues with a loan from the dealership I did purchase from! Hey my name is Ernie I was just in your service w a 2014 Chevy Malibu LTZ. I had the worst experience from start to finish. I made an appt Monday for today at 330. I arrived around 340/45. I was told I would have to wait an hr for a routine oil change. Fine. I asked what the point of appointment was for and was told so the car would be there by the tech. Then because I brought in my own Mobil 1 synthetic oil the tech was telling me that I couldn't get the free rotations offered by Chevy. After some back and forth he did it. After about an hr the car was finally being seen. The service tech came to me and told me I had the wrong oil. I went back and showed both the mechanic and tech that I did have the right oil. 5w30 was right there in the cap. This is alarming because the mechanic was ready to put 5w20 in my car. Flash forward about an hr I had to go back to see if my own car was done. The mechanic was working in the car next to mine. Finally, I'm getting the paperwork and I asked a different tech, because mine was gone for the day, about getting a car wash and he said yea they usually give it w service. The porter brings up my car and I tell him to get it washed. He points at a sign and says no wash after 5. I told him I was there since 330. All the porters laughed and said well it's after 5 now. I went to the new car showroom to see a manager and I ran into Chris. He was able to get a wash for me, which was terrible there's dirt everywhere. I finally left a little after 6 for a routine oil change and tire rotation. The WORST! 2 hours and 20 minutes total for a routine oil and tire rotation! read more

The service department guy was rude. I have to keep bringing my car in because the "tire low add air" saying keeps popping up on my dashboard. My sales guy told me my brakes were brand new but i hear scrubbinv when i put on brakes. My right side view mirror does not function properly. My sales guy is heard to get in touch with. I traded my car in but they have still failed to come tow it and pick it up. If I would have known that all these issues were going to occur I would have went somewhere else. Called ahead of time to make sure a vehicle was available for test drive. Drove 2 hours and arrived on time for our appointment. Waited an extra 1 hour while they unburied the car. Was then shown a vehicle that had 3 flat tires and was filthy. I will never recommend Kingdom Chevrolet. read more

My wife and I make an appt to see a car, the guy calls us the day of to ask if we are coming, we say yes, we drive 40 min to get there, and then "the car is in the shop and it is not available, but we have other cars for sale". I just went here the other day to get a oil change on my car, I sat Down to eat my food because I was on my lunch break, my purse was on my seat this guy followed me inside sat by me and stole my wallet right out my purse, I could not believe I didn't feel anything. I told a worker he apologized and told me they have security cameras in that area he took me to the owner whom was watching the camera, the owner got upset with the worker stating that the camera does not show in that area, he showed no consideration for me being robbed in his car dealership or anything, he only said they want their money for the oil change, because my wallet got stolen with my IDentification I could not go to the bank or anything to get money I had to call the police cancel my cars and have an family pay the money over the phone! I can't believe how bad service can be at this place. I take my car in for service and they keep it for 3 weeks. Now understand the work being done is under GM warranty. After I get it they give me a list of other things that are bad. Never once asking , can they do the work ? Once I leave u notice a problem with my power steering pump and I have to call them. The service agent admits to knowing about the problem but never put that on a list of items to fix. When I tell him that's under warranty he says " we only fix what the customer complained about. " so why not put that on the list of problems ? Because it's under a warranty and no money will be made. Now I know why so many people on Face book weren't surprised of my bad service. One person even said its like walking into an episode of Sanford and son. Do yourself a favor and find another dealership to take your car to have any work done. Also stay away from those lemons. Apparently it's a bit or miss when you go here, and with me they definitely missed. We went in, test drove a couple of cars and decided to buy one. We had no issues. After owning the car, and getting the call to go and get the license plates, they were also supposed to detail the car and take care of some scratches and dents. They only took care of one scratch, and when we went to pick up the car we were told THEY LOST IT! It took 30 minutes for them to find it in the back lot. They also lost our we owe, which we needed to get the rest of our work done. Our salesman, mike brixie was not there and so a salesman named George helped us out and wrote us a new we owe. We were told by mike that we could bring it in to get dents taken out, and when we showed up we were told in the work wasn't approved. We will NEVER be returning to kingdom Chevrolet. Worst place ever! I purchased a car over a month ago. The person who sold the car to me was ok no complains. He followed up with the purchase since there were some repairs to be done. The car needed a blower which they replaced. When I picked the car the rear driver door stopped working, they scheduled an appointment to repair it (which I thought was nice). The day of my appointment I arrived at the time I requested and to my surprise there was a line and nobody at the auto service seemed to care if I had an appointment (That is a first come, first serve service clearly!!!) I had to wait for 6 hours for the repair..... To make the story shorter, 2 weeks later the door stopped working!!!! So my 6 hours were wasted, I called and the lady over the phone was careless about the situation and kept insisting I made an appointment (however in my experience with these people, it doesn't seem to matter if I schedule something since I will get there and if there are 10 people in front I will be served after them......) This was clearly their mistake since the door didn't even last 2 weeks and now it doesn't lock and it is all messed up, with parts falling apart..... Avoid business with them, clearly they have low standards in how they serve people..... read more

I came into this location to repair a recall issue that I was experiencing with my vehicle. I wasn't charged anything for the repair since it was a known recall problem. However, the service that I was provided wasn't so great. They have low customer service, and they didn't even bother telling me what the problem of the vehicle was, and what exactly they repaired in my vehicle. I was only given my copy of the invoice, and was given my car. I've visited much better dealers before, with experienced and professional customer service representatives. read more

I purchased my car last week with a car sales man named Erick, he was amazing he helped me find a car with low mileage, roomy interior, and a classy looking car. Aside from that, I mentioned that I would like a car with low car payments each month and interest rate, after reviewing and discussing this information I left with a 2014 Nissan Altima, which I love so much! With me being a young woman, and alone at the time, I feel that Erick took good care of me and made me feel good about my purchase. I am having the worst possible experience with the Service Department. This is the 3rd time my Chevy Traverse has been to their service dept and over $800.00 later, the truck is still experiencing the same exact problem. I have explained the symptoms of what is happening and now 2 different times they have told me it was several different things which in my belief is not the true problem. I pick up this truck for the 2nd time, they charged me over $600.00 and I did not have the truck for 24 hours and BOOM same thing has happened again. The truck doesn't start after being driven a distance and stranding my kids in the suburbs. I immediately call the service tech that I am dealing with not happy with what is going on. I asked for the Service Manager who was not available, he did call me back with his solution. Yes the did pay for the tow from Arlington Heights and are giving me a rental car at their cost. But the issue are the same exact issues are happening and I have paid alot of money for it not being fixed correctly. I had spoken with the Service Manager before picking up the truck to explain that these things were happening and it not being fixed properly. We discussed my frustration and I told him it was not fair that I was being charged all this money for repairs that are not fixing the issues. I was given a $60.00 discount on a bill that was over $650.00 and then not 24 hours later we are still having issues of the truck not starting. It is doing exactly what I have been telling them about it since they returned from strike. The symptoms were explained several times and was told the truck keeps starting. I had to tell them exactly what to do to get the truck to do what would cause the symptoms to happen, this is then what they say was wrong with they replaced the junction box, they claimed that I was having a short to the ground. Starter was replaced by them, I purchased a new battery, now I have a "new" junction box (car does not start but I have all lights, electric windows, dash lights) but supposedly I have an electrical issues. NOT. I explained to the Service Manager that I definitely have the feel that they think they can take advantage of me because I am women, but as I explained to him, I am no dummy and resent that they think they can just do this to me. Service Manager could not deny that what was going on but really didn't really assure me that it was not being done either. I now am waiting for them to "spin the wheel" and lie and tell me there is some other supposedly expensive thing wrong with this truck. I guess time will tell what they are going to supposedly find wrong with it now. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a dealership, specifically from the service center. Demitrius was very dry and seemed bothered that I even came in to service my vehicle. I didn't feel comfortable leaving it there and his whole demeanor made me feel like I'd be taken advantage of, being a woman, but had no choice as a road trip was soon approaching. To my dismay, of course there was something wrong which was not covered under warranty. Less than a month later, the same issue has re-ocurred and I'm seriously questioning if I paid for absolutely nothing to be done. To add to his terrible customer service, I noticed I didn't have my house keys and ran back to him while I had an uber waiting. He attempted to call a porter once and then sat there doing nothing. Thankfully, the gentleman to his left overheard and took it upon himself to walk 10 steps over to the next room and brought them back in less than a minute. So dissatisfied with Demitrius. I went to Kingdon Chevrolet in January of 2015 looking for a vehicle. myself and sister walked in and ask for the sale person in which I had been Conversing with back & forward over the phone about specific vehicle. I was told by him upon my arrival to ask for him when i got there! and when i did that!!!! myself and my sister was itermediately pulled in two different ways across the dealership, and then the salesmen begin to get into a disagreement about who was going to help me with this sale of the vehicle. ...i was totally in shock then after that in was seated with a totally different the sale person . Then he ask me for my information ( remind you i am still in shock over this ) that he would need my information to run credit first 1st before i could driving the car!! to see if was approved for it.... this whole incident reminded me of a black friday sales with the way sales people conduct themselves there .... i itermediately requested to see the person that i been Conversing with and come to find out he was only online person with no ability to sales a car..... then relize i been had CATFISH. .... After regaining my composer back intermediate requests my information back and left the dealership ... i later called back an requested to speak with a floor manager after the 4th time of calling and being transferred to vm. i finally spoke with one of many quote on quote floor (sales) manager. As i begin to tell him the story he begin to laugh. As explained to him i didn't see anything funny about the issue at all.... He explained to me that due to the bad weather here they wore only trying to make up the of sales that was lost.... WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Don't waste your time coming to this place!!! They are very sneaky!!!! I took my mom and my brother to this place after seeing an ad on a car they were selling. We had cash, ready to pay for the car in full. We made an appointment to speak to one of the salesman. It took us almost 2 hours to get there since we were stuck in traffic and when we arrived, they finally told us the car we were interested did not have a working transmission. After communicating with them over the phone several times, they did not bother telling us that the car's transmission was not working properly? They claim in their ads they sell cars in very good working conditions. Wow, i can't believe how dishonest they behaved. What a waste of time! Then this individual tried selling us two cars. He practically tried forcing us to buy 2 cars, but we were not interested in making payments, let alone on two cars. The salesman would not let go. We left very disappointed. We will never return. I came in to look at a car after talking to a lady named Lemanda Lee and when I got there I was talking to a guy name Dan. Ok why would Ms.Lee tell me to ask for her when I came in and then all of a sudden sent Dan to talk to me about a car. I knew right there that it was a ploy to lure customers in. Then Dan tells me I can be financed, but my income wasn't enough...and when he said do you have any friends or family I can look at as a possible co-signer. Starting off I will not use a co-signer because in this day and age many people won't co sign for someone because they may have been burned by someone who they co signed something for. It took me back to when I co signed on a bank account for my then boyfriend which was a mistake so I can imagine how someone would feel if asked to co sign something again. I told the guy I am not asking any family and friends to co sign something I can handle on my own. I said I will be taking my business elsewhere I was never so disappointed in my life. The guy didnt shake my hand upon introducing himself which tells me his professional skills need major work. I got up and left out after sitting for over an hour waiting for the answer as to getting financing. Don't bother coming here because the people who you talk to on the phone is not the one you're coming to see and you're likely put off on someone else which is what happened when I came in to meet with Lemanda. I bought a car from here. I really WISH I hadn't. This place is the most unorganized, unprofessional dealership I've EVER stepped foot in. They had the car I was looking for at the price I wanted, but I would've paid more to alleviate the headache that came after I bought it. I was having power windows and locks installed after I bought the car. I was told it would take 24 hours from the sales manager. I dropped it off that Friday and was reassured by several people that I would be able to pick it up the next day. I called the next day for an update an was told that they don't work on Saturdays and, in addition, the parts had to be sent out for and wouldn't be back until Tuesday! Then I was given a personal guarantee from another manager that he would call me on Tuesday with an update. Nothing...I call on Wednesday afternoon to find out that my car was DONE the previous day and I could come pick it up. Throughout the course of this ordeal, I'd left several messages, none of which were returned. Received much false information. I will NEVER go here for anything else and would advise anyone that's car shopping to avoid this place like the plague. Their unprofessionalism might affect you even worse than it did me. read more

Best car buying experience we could have asked for! We saw a used 2012 Dodge Caravan Crew advertised on autotrader.com. We called and set up an appointment to test drive it. When we walked in we were greeted promptly and taken to a desk. They pulled the car into their garage so we could inspect it in the light. They then took us for a test drive. We told them we were preapproved for a loan and the finance manager asked at what rate. He then asked us to give him a minute. They were able to beat our banks rate by almost 2% and cut 6 months off of our payment schedule!!! What dealer does that? They also knocked some money off their already amazing price. We thought it was too good to be true, but our mechanic inspected the car today and said it's in pristine shape! We are so pleased having done business with Kingdom Chevy. Our only complaint was the car was on empty when we test drove it, and they barely gave us enough gas to get it home, but they money they took off the sale price more then made up for it! I have had nothing but problems since I purchased a vehicle from here. This is your typical dealer nothing but a bunch of dirty lying cheats. Also do not let them pressure you into hurrying up and signing the paper work despite the fact they go over it with you read it yourself, it will save you money and the future head aches. A) They could not find the key for the car. B) The car also did not start up right away (my fault) C) Its impossible to get a hold of anyone on here which is beyond me how a business cannot return a simple phone call. D) Why can I not look at cars before I give you all of my information? E) They are coming up with some new story on every problem that arise's nonstop it seems. F) I don't even think their vehicles are checked before they are put out on the lot I noticed alot of them running around with the jumper boxes. I know with mine the check engine light was reset and that was it. G) They will tell you want to hear but once it comes down to it anything they promised you gets thrown out the window. H) I don't know if the mechanics they have there are just to do small stuff: Change light bulbs, do oil changes etc etc because they apparently had a very very hard time figuring out what was wrong with my car and how to fix it after going over what codes came up on the ODBII computer, I had the print out then they quickly responded "WELL MORE CODES CAME UP" I) Its like they refuse to give any sort of paperwork for anything and come up with some crazy story on why they cant (refer to E) I'm sure I could go on and on, I'd also suggest a warranty to anyone that dos end up purchasing a used vehicle from here even though you will have nothing but problems once it comes to the service department. I purchased a 2006 Pontiac Vibe from Kingdom Chevy on March 27th 2013. I am 18 and this was my first car. I did not have any problems with the car. 2 weeks later 4/12/13, I get a call saying that I need to bring the car back because my cosigners license was suspended. So I'm thinking okay, I did not want the car anyway but I should have never walked off the lot with the car and they didn't check her license. I went to bring the car back yesterday (4/12/13) and somehow their power was out. I wanted to get my $1000 i had put down on that car anyway! DANNY JONES Had the nastiest attitude towards my grandmother and I. I felt totally disrespected! He had no customer service skills nor did he posses any type of sympathy or anything! He treated us very unprofessionally and in my opinion, he should be fired and have his license taken away!He took the keys from me without giving me my money! I will never deal with this place again! If I could rate this place lower than 1 star I would. Never have i been so humiliated and disrespected in my life. We were looking to purchase a used 2018 impala for 16,800. After going back and forth multiple times on financing we walked out. BUT we came back ultimately because we couldn't pass up on the price of the car. We came back inside and the associate (Chad) asked if we would use their financing. We said no we secured our own financing at a better rate than their garbage 4.25%. He left and came back and said they weren't selling us the car anymore. When we asked further why, they said it didn't make sense to sell it at that price to us anymore. Are you kidding me? So just because we didn't want to buy the car and use their financing, now they dont want to sell it to us? I even spoke to the joke of a finance manager and he said the same thing and wouldn't even look me in the eye. This is the worst and most unprofessional dealership ever.......it should of shut down when the others dealerships on south western did. I visited this establishment today to have a key replacement. if I knew what I know now I wouldn't of never went there. after the auto services dept advisor named rudy made my new key and told me that the new key wouldn't work to unlock/lock my door. he showed me the different in my old key verses the new one and how much wear it was on the old key and this is the problem. then told me that he will attempt to shade down the new key and maybe it will work. then rudy came back and said it won't work and they had to jimmie the door open. He said that it works in the ignition, but I wouldn't be able to use the new key to open/lock my door and the only options for me to be able to secure my car is to change the lock mechanism on the door in which he quoted cost $200-$300 dollars or get a key remote which he said would be $140 dollars. so I purchase the remote seen it's a lesser price. I lift there with a bill totaling $373 and i was only there for a replacement which would of been only $200 dollars w/ taxes. the strange part about it, shortly after leaving and finally calmed down I check to see if the new key work really didn't work and discovered it worked. I called the dealership right away and explain my situation and was instructed to bring the car back in. rudy checked it and also saw it work, but told me they can't refund my money back for the remote because it's already coded to my car, then had the nerves to say "you had an option". what can of option was that. what! are you serious, either get a remote to open/lock my car or take a chance and leave my door unlock to avoid being locked out, leaving my car unsecured. this thought of leaving my door unlock lift me with no option, but to purchase the key remote. i asked to speak with the auto services manager then requested the general manager in which they both said there is nothing they can do I already brought it. this sucks over 300 dollars for a key that's all I wanted. these were some of the most disgusting, uncompromising, uncompassionate people. no one showed no empathy and this is not how you keep or do good business. customer first, I don't think so. i felt like i was dealing with gangsters. now do this sound fair or even right. of not course not. if anyone could help me resolve this problem that will be great. read more
