    For the price, the portions you get and the quality of food is great! The spot is also always packed it seems which show how popular the food is with people in the area. There are a variety of items like noodles, fried rice, noodle soup, congee that you can get but they are most known for their clay pot rice which is super yummy.

    Decent food and not too long of a wait during Saturday lunch time. Try one of the clay rice pots, but would skip on the BBQ duck / meats here. Worth visiting if you want a sit down place in Brooklyn Chinatown!

    Great service and tasty food. The staff at King's Kitchen were so attentive, helpful and friendly during our visit! We ordered rice porridge (jook), beef chow fun and fried doughnut rice roll (ja leurng). The food was quite tasty and there are a lot of options on the menu to choose from. Prices were on the higher side, but the food was good and restaurant well attended even during the late afternoon. Not the absolute best Chinese I've ever had but still very good -- plus you just can't beat the friendly service!

    Food: We ordered a Salted Fish and Pork Cake Clay Pot Rice as well as a Beef Chow Fun. The clay pot rice was delicious. The pork cake was flavorful with a good amount of salted fish flavor. The bottom of the rice was crusty. The Beef Chow Fun was average and nothing special. I would order it again, but there are definitely better Beef Chow Fun dishes elsewhere. Service: Service was average. They come to take your order and bring you your food. Ambiance: The restaurant is small, but they have a good number of tables for groups of 4 or less. Not the best place for large groups. Overall, I would recommend this place!

    First, the cashiers were oddly aloof. I waited a couple of minutes in front of them, before I felt the need to say hello to them. I would be less annoyed if the place was busy but the cashiers weren't help anyone and were face planted into their phones. That should've been a red flag to get out The bigger problem was with the pork I brought (see picture). It was mostly inedible fat. You can see the thick layer between the brown skin and small amount of meat. For those problems, I will not step back in. There are better locations for staple Chinese meats one avenue down (8th Ave)

    Absolutely revolting experience at King's Kitchen! I found a GREEN WORM squirming on a vegetable in my meal - a solid proof that they don't even BOTHER washing their produce! This is beyond gross; it's a health hazard and an outright disgrace to any restaurant claiming to care about quality. I'm nauseated just thinking about it and will NEVER step foot in this filthy place again. Do better or shut down!!!!!

    First time here. Food was good but not hot enough. Maybe because it was a very cold day. Service was OK, friendly and attentive. We got there early so it wasn't too crowed.

    This dine-in restaurant is very small, about 8-10 tables, but it is well organized and clean inside. The waiters were very prompt, attentive and friendly. We came for the clay pot rice and we ordered two, the eel clay pot rice and the salty chicken clay pot, both came out excellent. We also ordered the beef Chow fun as one of my sons loved it a lot. The beef was just right, not chewy at all. I liked the pork offal congee, the offal seemed to be cleaned and not smelly. My husband did not really like the offal, but he said the congee base was good. The hoi sin sauce and peanut butter sauce mixed rice roll was good. Overall it was a good dinning experience, reasonable priced and very convincing location. It is like the HK style cafe and lots of Cantonese / HK style dishes available on the menu.

    It's a pretty populated restaurant and pretty loud. I ordered three meats to go. The food smells so good and the meats are so juicy and tender. It's not too salty and not too bland; perfect to my liking. The cashier and chef were very kind too. I will be coming back soon!

    Thai restaurant appeared to be popular with the locals. We had duck and bbq pork sa sui. They were good. The wonton noodle soup was also good and legit. Services was ok but was as expected for a place as this. Ambiance can be intimidating for novice but the food would make up for it.

    05.30.2024 @1pm Walk in for a table 3 Came for a lunch with friends as I just finished yum cha. The service was not bad, constant come back to table to refill water. They clay pot rice are one of the best in Brooklyn.

    Two Choices of BBQ on Rice (Roasted Pork & Roasted Duck)

    King's Kitchen boasts an extensive menu of Cantonese favorites from steamed rice rolls to congee to clay pot rice, but they're perhaps known best for their tantalizing array of barbecued meats. We stopped by for lunch today and ordered their Two Choices of BBQ on Rice, one with roasted pork and roasted duck, and the other with roasted pig and scallion chicken (we actually asked for soy sauce chicken, but somehow got scallion chicken instead). The roasted pork and roasted pig were undeniably the stars of the show. The roasted pork was juicy and well-marinated, while the roasted pig had tender meat and crisp, crackling skin. Unfortunately, although the roasted duck was visually appealing, it fell flat in terms of flavor. The scallion chicken, too, was unremarkable, and the cuts were either too dry, too fat, or lacked meat entirely. Service was quick and friendly, though it definitely helps to speak some Chinese or Cantonese!

For a Chinese restaurant which usually does not charge tax if you pay with cash, they charge tax here whether you pay by card or cash. The restaurant is pretty big and spacious. They have pretty large tables, suitable for parties and celebrations. There's a private space upstairs with 3 large tables for parties. The restaurant is pretty slow in the afternoon.

My rotation always includes the following-har gow, deep-fried noodlefish, shrimp cheong fun (rice noodle roll), zhaliang (fried dough rice noodle roll), chicken feet, and beef tripe-and now more recently, salt and pepper squid. I'm not even joking when I say this, but my mouth was salivating when they placed everything in front of us. Everything was fresh and just so full of flavor. When the salt and pepper squid had run out of the carts, they made sure to request more for our table and got us a fresh, hot, and steaming plate of it.
