My husband found hair in his food. While they brought him a new one, they did not take off the charge from our check, which is unacceptable because many places we have been to before have taken other actions if something like this occurs. The manager said that the chef said they are still going to charge us because they gave us a new one, but they did not compensate us for the inconvenience. We ordered take out after a neighbor recommended it and enjoyed everything we got. Went directly to their website to order hoping they will get all of the sale $$. We got Pad See You, Pumpkin shrimp curry, and two different beef dishes I can't recall. Everything was fresh and perfect. This place is very delicious and has great service. I've been here multiple times and have had great experiences every one of them. This place has a very relaxed, laid back vibe that is really nice. I've been to quite a few Thai restaurants and this one has my favorite Tom Yum soup. It's a lil spicy and very flavored, taste amazing when you add some lime juice to it. But the street Thai noodles are amazing as well. I love spicy and flavored food, so if you do too you should try this place out. With both the Tom Yum and Thai noodles, I always get some white rice to go with it on the side. It's delicious. The dryness with all that sauce goes really well together. A friend and I came here for lunch. This place is beautiful. We ordered drunken noodles (pad kee mow) with beef and pad thai noodles with chicken and Thai iced tea. The drunken noodles dish was addicting. Very very flavorful with lots of vegetables. The pad thai was not as flavorful. It was missing something, but still ok. The Thai iced tea was very very good. Highly recommend it. Overall, I would definitely be back here. Tip: There is parking in the far back behind the center building, but remember that you have to come back where you went in. I'm so happy my dad found this gem of a place! I don't live around the area but my dad insisted that we'd try it since he'd ate here before. The service was very fast and our food came in a short amount of time. The waitress we had gave us good recommendations as well. Out of the 5 plates we ordered, 2 lacked a lot of flavor and remained almost untouched. The kalbi beef stood out to us the most! The meat was so tender and seasoned to perfection. I used to love eating here because the food is GREAT...chef Kevin makes all of his dishes so flavorful. On my recent take out order I got a lunch special breaded chicken on fried garlic and ginger rice along with shrimp topaz. When I arrived to pick up my order I notice on the receipt that the chicken plate was priced higher than what's on the menu. I asked the waitress she looked at it and noticed that is was incorrect as well but instead of correcting the price on my bill she simply said "I will let them know" and proceeded to charge my card for the incorrectly priced item. Kinnara is our go to Thai restaurant in the Valley. The food has been always fresh, of excellent quality and somewhat different from the run of the mill Thai restaurant. You will find many of the dishes you expect but its their specialties that makes this restaurant stand out. Tonight we ordered Tamarind Sea Bass which is a nice size crispy Branzino in tamarind sauce. This is a delicious fish dish. We also had Penang Lamb Chops which was a special not on the menu with stir fried mix vegetables. When taking the leftovers home they add a fresh box of rice. Everyone at my office raves about this place, and I'd say it's pretty good. It's in an unexpected location and unexpectedly decorated. It seems very bougie on the inside with all the intricate chandeliers and what not. The food itself was good. I ordered the green curry lunch special and it was very, very powerful for lack of a better word- probably the strongest curry I've ever had. It was teetering on the edge of being too much, but I was still happy with it. My coworker ordered the drunken noodle and loved it. We split the veggie rolls, which they forgot to bring out twice but that's okay. They were larger than most veggie rolls I've ordered. I decided on an oyster shooter, the Thai street fried rice & hot mint tea. Let me tell you, the food here is really good! The oyster shooter - a fresh, plump oyster was surrounded by a dark green sauce of some sort; it was topped with chives & just enough siracha to feel the heat without ruining all of the flavors. It was the perfect flavor & texture combination with the oyster bursting in your mouth & the crispy garlic taking it to the next flavor level. There was something else in it that I couldn't quite pick out but wow! I will definitely be craving this! A+ Thai street fried rice - big portion of food especially for a lunch special. Rice topped with minced chicken (think larb), juicy shrimp of pretty decent size & amount and a crispy fried egg. I have never seen a fried egg done like that; & there was yolk still oozing out when I cut into it. Also came with a small side salad. This dish was amazing! A+ Hot mint tea - giant mug of fresh mint leaves steeped in hot water. The tea is served with the leaves still in it. Doesn't come sweetened & I didn't feel like it needed it. I placed an order through their website two weeks ago. When I arrived to pick it up, they advised me that they were not able to complete the order due to not having all of the ingredients in stock. They refused to reimburse me for the missing dish and insisted they would take it up with the online vendor that processes the orders through their website. I've called the restaurant four times, and each time they have given me a different excuse ("There's no manager here," "The vendor is not answering their phone," etc.). It did not taste like Thai food at all. The Tom Yum had to spice or lemongrass, and it was sweet! I asked for chili powder and lime to try to fix it and it didn't work. My soup was not hot and it was pour in an strange way. Maybe they should focus on cooking authentic food rather than to be fancy. read more

The food's taste and flavor is a 3/5, but because the consistency of the Pad See Ew noodles that I ordered was just right, light, slightly soft and glassy, and the broccoli was cooked to just the right soft consistency, I bumped it up to a 4/5. The decor was also very pretty, with small statues of monks in orange and yellow robes, gold spike decorations hanging from the ceiling, it was very fashionable.
