HH menu

We came in to watch The World Cup. There was no sound, but they quickly turned it up when I asked. The drinks were good, can't go wrong with their $5 Tito's special. We had the Boom Boom Shrimp, which my son liked, but seemed like a smaller portion than what they used to serve off the regular menu. We later ordered the buffalo wings (they were out of buffalo sauce) so we got the Asian inspired hot sauce. It was good on the side. We also got a burger lettuce wrapped off the happy hour menu. I was good, but not quite worth the $12 we paid (no sides). We also got the pork tostadas, which we have had before and always enjoyed, but today they were Lacking any seasoning. The atmosphere was fine, quite, but we were here the watch the game, so we enjoyed it. We will be back for another try.

Had Sunday brunch here this morning. We definitely will be back next time we're in town. Our server, Miguel was friendly and attentive. Our table ordered the 86 Steak sandwich, the Club sandwich, a Scramble di Manzo, and I had Avocado toast. Everyone loved their meals. The avocado toast was delicious, but a little too spicy, so I probably would not order that again. Recommend!

Enjoyed a marguerita pizza and the Kalifornifation cocktail. Spouse had the chicken Caesar wrap which was fresh and delicious. We learned they have a daily happy hour.

Service was great, the staff is super friendly. It's a darker atmosphere with TV's to show sports games if you're trying to watch, this is a great place for that. There is a pretty large menu with lots of options, for adults and kids. They have mocktail menu for kids and sober friends.

Excellent food, phenomenal service, and a great piano player to boot!! Great feel and enjoyable for a Saturday night!

I was happy they had several vegan options in a separate section on the menu labeled "Vegan". They also had my favorite wine, Rombauer by the glass. The Vegan pizza was really good! I had them add arugula.

Bam bam shrimp and bam bam chicken born great! Margarita pizza wonderful! Sangria delight!

Met a client and he recommended this place, the waiter told us the owner owned 39 dominos so clearly pizza was his thing. Waiter Highly recommend "Breakfast Pizza" and it's not what you would assume eggs on pizza crust, there was no eggs at all however it was excellent! What I also loved was the pizza isn't heavy it's thin so you don't walk away feeling bloated. Location was clean service was friendly no issues at all. I would 100% come back.

We had the pleasure of dining here last night, and it was truly an amazing experience. The establishment was quite busy, so I would highly recommend making a reservation. We were fortunate to secure a table by arriving early, and the hostess was exceptionally gracious. We chose to sit on the patio, which offered a delightful atmosphere and allowed us to appreciate the beauty of El Paso street. Our server, Michael, was outstanding. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and thoroughly explained the menu, going above and beyond, which is a rare and commendable quality these days. The food was simply amazing; everything from the appetizers to the lamb chop and the beet salad was excellent. The pizza was fantastic, the shrimp scampi was delicious, the salmon was perfectly prepared, and the chicken dish was also delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish, and our compliments go to the chef. This is undoubtedly an amazing restaurant, and they truly deserve a Michelin star or similar recognition. I highly, highly recommend it.

I was surprised how much I liked this place on El Paseo. The Boom Boom Shrimp is a must. My husband and I shared a salad and a pizza that as soon as it came to our table we dug right in (no pic taken). The Mexican Bee Sting cocktail was perfectly crafted. Really enjoyed this place!

Nice mural, this was the closest we got to food.

Do they have a private dining room?

Do they have misters on the patio for hot days?

Yes, they do. They were pretty effective when we were there.

Are they open? I keep calling and says they're closed for the summer a d that they'll see us in September...I pretty sure September is almost over...?

They never closed during the summer. They are open 7 days a week and have live entertainment every night.

What kind of sauce is the salmon in?

I can't recall- it's been awhile-- and hubby ate it- he believed it had No sauce.. just seasoned very well

What are the happy hour times?

I don't but I know there are two reserved time blocks for happy hour with the second one that goes until 2 a.m.

When is the happy hour?

3 PM to 6 PM every day of the week!!!! Great happy hour choices and prices too!

It clearly caters to a sophisticated crowd--very similar in vibe to their Calabasas location. While parking is accessible in the rear, it can get congested during peak season. The menu is extensive with plenty of excellent selections, though the pricing is definitely premium. For instance, a Cobb salad topped with fish can easily exceed $45; while the quality is high, that's a significant jump over nearby staples like Daily Grill. Service was friendly but lacked consistency; our server disappeared mid-meal without a hand-off, requiring us to flag down other staff. Overall, it's a bright, airy, and stylish spot well worth a visit, provided you're prepared for the 'luxury' price point.

Palm Desert retail is below while Palm Springs is right next door. Both have access to restaurants and retail. This location has a decent size dining room and a pretty big covered patio that wraps around. At first we thought that we would have to check in with the hostess for a seat at the bar but found out that we didn't as someone else just walked right up. It was the start of happy hour which was the reason for the visit. Just wanted a drink and maybe a light bite. There was 2 seats that were available at the bar which was perfect timing as when we got seated, a few other people walked in but ended up just ordering drinks while waiting for a seat to open up. Happy hours from 3-5 which I feel like loads of people come for it. They offer a couple dollars off of starters, wine and beer. For small bites, 5.00 sliders and 6.00 fish tacos. Limited but a little discount on the starters. We had a glass of wine which was 4.00 off with the HH. Of course with that, something to munch on was needed. Clearly they're known for the coconut shrimp starters which we were informed by the bartender. And from the looks of it, pretty much everyone sitting there had an order. Which was a given for us to get. It came with five shrimp, decent size with a nice glaze sauce and adorned with coleslaw which was quite tasty. Definitely worth it. And the sliders, one each. Wow, I'm not much of a burger person but they were tasty. Cooked perfectly, the meat was juicy and served pretty simple with grilled onions, sauce, a slice of cheese and a slice of pickle on top of the bun. Simple yet very tasty and flavorful. The service was great at the bar. Gentlemen taking care of use was sweet and quite friendly. Seemed like it's a local and regular hangout as he seemed to know everyone sitting there. The wine was tasty and the bites were great. Coconut shrimp was a hit as well as the sliders which I do recommend. Even on a Monday right at 3, the bar area was pretty packed already. People know when to come for HH.

Today's lunch with family and friends was especially frustrating, and everyone left unhappy. The kids' sliders were burnt on both ends, and the chicken was overcooked and even contained a long hair. We were served appetizers without any plates and had to get up and ask for them ourselves. We also ordered three appetizers, but only two arrived. When we asked about the missing appetizer, we were told it would come out later because the other family in our party had ordered it. That explanation made no sense. Appetizers should be served together regardless of which members of the party ordered them. To make matters worse, when we requested separate checks, we were told the restaurant could not accommodate that request. We have dined here many times in the past and have never had an issue receiving separate checks, so this was surprising and frustrating. The waiter just gave us the option to split the check evenly on two cards which is not helpful since one family spent far less than the other. Apparently the food could be separated by family, but the bill could not. Service throughout the meal was poor. We were never offered additional cocktails or soft drink refills until we had already finished eating. Dirty plates sat on the table for an extended period of time, attracting multiple flies and creating an unpleasant dining experience. It's disappointing because this restaurant was once one of our favorites, but after two consecutive poor experiences, we're finding it difficult to justify returning.

You might call it "hidden," though, because it is such a small, unassuming kind of place. You might walk right past it, if you're deep in conversation. This is such a pleasant little café, simply decorated, with clever table separations and a happy vibe. It seems a bit like one of those "ladies who lunch" places, although there was a nice mixture of folks, when we stopped in. The owner/chef/servers all have a great energy, provide outstanding service and are happy to discuss recipes, if you are so inclined. (We were). Then, there is the food. Oh my gosh. Delicious. The Tomato Basil Bruschetta was, without doubt, the best one I've ever had. We loved the Chicken Curry and French Dip sandwiches. The wine list was concise, but well selected. Nothing, by the way, was too terribly expensive. In fact, for El Paseo, the prices struck us as a particular bargain. Highly recommended.

Unlike so many other parts of trips out here - the oppressive heat, dodging careening buggies driven by seemingly lost and possibly inebriated golfers, and the discovery of sand in eyes / nose / shoes / liver - it's a tradition that sits very well with me. I'd even go as far as saying that the food here makes all of the above worthwhile. The restaurant has a car park to the rear and limited street parking in front. The interior has a lovely ambiance, quietly refined by subtle lighting and a gentle arboreal theme. I've seen it busy and our party has also had the place to ourselves on late visits, but I'd definitely recommend a reservation just in case especially with a larger party. The staff provide attentive and genuinely caring service, and the portion sizes are substantial and easily justify the more-than-reasonable cost. The food itself though is the reason this place is always a highlight reel spot for me. Every dish is a feast for the eyes as well as the palette, beautifully presented and packed with flavor. My personal go-to is the perfectly seasoned and healthy Harvest Salad, usually with an added protein (the blackened chicken adds a real flavor kick and the variety in texture that I love in great food). Fortunately my partner happily defaults to the opulent and delightful Lobster Lasagna, as I'd be loath to miss out on a bite or three of that too. Appetizer-wise, I'm yet to regret any soup-of-the-day choice. The Zucchini last night was... well... yep, perfect is no overstatement. Sweet Basil is an absolute gem, and a must-visit for any visitor here. The only even remotely negative things I can think to mention is to be aware of the rather early closing time for at least part of the year.

Instead, she bit into a sharp chicken bone hidden in the salad--something that absolutely should never happen. This is not just a minor oversight--it's a major failure in basic food safety and kitchen preparation. There is no excuse for serving food in this condition, especially something as simple as a salad. We trusted this restaurant to provide a safe meal, and that trust was completely broken. What makes this even worse is that the situation could have been far more dangerous. If swallowed, this could have led to choking or internal injury. No customer should ever have to worry about that when ordering a salad. I strongly urge the restaurant to take a hard look at their food prep standards and quality control, because this is unacceptable. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
