Great spot to enjoy a drink and get some work done. Parking is easy to find in the shared lot. The shop has indoor and outdoor seating. It was pretty full when I came on a weekday afternoon. The first time I went to this coffee shop was on a Sunday and the service was fast and speedy. I ordered a Crème Brûlée and the drink was pretty good. However, today (Wednesday) I decided to go here to study and the service was slow and disappointing. I ordered a Blended Vanilla Bean Latte which is a frappe version of their Vanilla Bean Latte. After 10 minutes of waiting I thought it was weird that my drink had not come out yet. I also noticed that the baristas were just chatting and giggling the whole time. I decided to ask one of the baristas when my drink is ready and she told me that she forgot my drink in the blender. By the time she poured the drink out it turned all watery and the drink had no vanilla flavor to it. I believe this was due to the fact that the drink got diluted due to it melting. Overall, I am disappointed by the service and unprofessional attitude by the baristas. read more

I have tried this place a few times since it opened and have been disappointed each time. The lattes, my go-to drink at any coffee place, are flavorless. They taste like warm milk that someone waved a coffee bean over. The Chai latte is the same. The location is clean. The tables are always full of people working on computers. The staff is not friendly, business only. I won't be returning. You are better off trying out any of the independent coffee places in the area instead of this chain, or even any of the local Starbucks will give you a better latte. read more

I gave up on them with their food after this happened with the wrap again. I went in just right now for a simple black coffee with the cashew milk. I tried their cold brew on a whim and it was so good, I returned to get a bag of coffee for home brewing. I loved that their cold brew was smooth and creamy without any acidity so I asked the workers for a recommendation for the least acidic coffee. I forget which one I got but upon getting it home, unfortunately, the coffee was pretty acidic. I have recently been loving the stumptown house roast which comes out super smooth and non-acidic so that is my comparison. I would definitely come back to Klatch for their cold brew but will pass on taking home coffee beans. read more

Went today and ordered a Peach Sweet Tea and a Pumpkin muffin. The team member took my order and made my drink. While taking my order, he grabbed the pumpkin muffin and warmed it up in a microwave. After paying, he proceeds to start making the Peach Sweet Tea. He drops the container of lemons and picks it up. He then continues to use his bare hands to grab a lemon slice and squeeze it into my drink. Up to this point, he's touched: the POS system, the microwave, the fridge with the lemons, and the container that fell on the floor. At the very least, wash your hands after using the POS system. I ended up just tossing the drink away after leaving. If you're going to come here to order food and drinks, I hope you don't have to witness what I did. read more

Decided to give this fairly new coffee shop a try at the Chino Hills Shoppes! I'm a sucker for a good iced vanilla latte so that's what I ordered and the barista suggested oat milk. Klatch Coffee is a welcome addition to the Chino Hills Shoppes area, despite being another coffee shop added to the roster. Although taking the same location as the prior cafe, Dripp, Klatch comes with a cool, clean look to it that stands out compared to the more industrial appearance of its predecessor. As well, the service was fast and friendly, again standing out from the prior location (mainly pour-over, which can lead to back-up and longer wait times). Alas, Klatch is again another cafe. While I myself am a coffee fanatic, some might feel disappointed over this replacement (Coffee Bean, Barnes and Noble Starbucks, and several tea shops are only a walk away). Despite this fact, however, I think the store stands out because it's so focused on coffee and cafe specialties, versus Panera, Barnes and Noble, or the other tea shops that draw in guests for other reasons (food, milk tea). And yes, while Coffee Bean is across the street, it helps having Klatch where it is, so making the walk isn't so much a journey near Chik Fil A and the gas station. Give the store a chance, and try their great options. If you have a grinder and brewing setup at home, try their beans; it's so nice to be able to pick them up here, rather than ordering from online or traveling out of the city. As someone who's immunocompromised, however, I do have to note: while Klatch does have a sign that states masks are required, many guests forego the masks on entry, if not once they start drinking. Hopefully management can make the place safer, if not ask baristas to help prevent breakthrough infections at this time. read more

After I asked them if that was the correct place they expected me to get water from they said yes. The shop wasn't busy enough for no one being unable to refill it but they refused. It's so hard to find a good cup of coffee. I asked several people in Chino Hills, if they knew of a place to get good coffee. All of them said, try Klatch. So, I did. I went on Sunday the 8th of September and asked for a small cup of black coffee. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and suggested I try their Guatemalan blend that was in a large coffer dispenser that was behind her. I said I'll try it. I put a lid on the cup and walked out. I tried it and was so disappointed. It was horrific. Whoever made the pot put way too many coffee grounds in prepping the coffee and it was so bitter and nasty. I threw the cup of coffee away and just shook my head thinking I got ripped off again. I just wanted a good cup of coffee, and it seems so impossible to find one. Their app said it be ready for pick up at 7:05am. 15 minutes after the given ready time my order was ready and not correct! Again great coffee! Today same old same old 30 minutes for an americano. Now granted my card didn't go thru the first time because my bank was protecting from possible fraudulent charges in London, but come on! I stepped out and came back in to check on my americano and nothing. A short while later I was informed my card did not go thru. Klatch coffee has always been one of my favorite coffee spots, and I'm glad they brought one over in Chino. Located where the old Dripp was, the coffee and service is good as always, but I kinda feel like the interior remodel was a downgrade, as I feel like they're less places to lounge around to enjoy your coffee. As for the actual products though, my favorite drinks here are the Bee's Knees, their standard Cafe Latte, the Oatmilk Caff on Tap, and if you're feeling a sweet tooth, the Patio Special is something else! Also as a tip, they always change their espresso daily, so be sure to try their coffee on different days, as you might be surprised to find a new favorite on their product list! read more

The spot that Klatch currently lives has been Peet's coffee, dripp, and now klatch. Hoping klatch survives. I think they are in a great location. The quality of their coffee is 5/5. Their service is good, I loved the friendliness of most of the baristas. The only awkward moment is when one of the baristas (blond haired in ponytail) went around sweeping the store, and saw some crumbs (someone had a muffin or something before I had arrived) near where I was sitting, then proceeded to sweep around my feet, no excuse me, no pardon me, just starting jabbing the broom at the corner by my foot. That was awkward. I think she is just trying to keep the cafe clean, but very intimidating about it. Otherwise I like the facelift that the location has undergone.
