I paired my meal with the Pico Loco beer, a crisp and refreshing Mexican-style lager that was perfect for the warm weather and one of my favorite styles of beer. Apparently, I was lucky enough to get the VERY LAST Bacon Pepper Jacked Burger before it comes off the menu, and honestly, it was hands down the best bar burger I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, loaded with flavor, and just messy enough to let you know it was done right. My wife and I also shared the Hoppy Blues salad, which may very well have been the best "bar salad" we've ever had. Fresh, flavorful, and far beyond what you normally expect from pub food. This brewery features Lager Beers crafted using traditional Bavarian/European methods...thus I had to try one...two...maybe more. Luckily there was a ton of delicious looking food on the menu from the expected pizzas and wings to the old world treats like beef stroganoff, goulash and schnitzal. Everything is made from scratch and I couldn't help looking at all the neighboring tables to get an idea of what to try. Our waitress Ashley was really helpful and checked if the pesto was made with nuts as we have peanut and tree nut allergies in our family. Luckily there were no pine nuts or other substitutes and we could safely have it! We ended up getting quite a feast of plates and then topped it off with two desserts- the bread pudding and the German chocolate cake (couldn't come to a family agreement so had to get both!). It had a fresh taste to it and even a little lemon-y, which didn't make the fried cutlet taste too rich. It came with mashed potatoes, gravy and veggies. The veggies were your basic steamed veggies, but the dish was overall good. Service was great-server was attentive and the manager came around as well to check on us. I think it would be fun to come here for Oktoberfest, since the inside has a good ambiance.

You could tell right away that they genuinely care about the experience here. The atmosphere was fun and inviting with free cornhole, free darts, and even dollar pool tables--such a great touch. Bridget jumped in behind the bar as well and was full of personality, great conversation, and positive energy that made the night even better. When the shift changed, we were taken care of seamlessly by another incredible crew: Rebecca, Kirsten, and Kira. Every single person was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We're visiting from out of town from Los Angeles and had no idea where to go, but we're so glad we chose this place. Even the regular patrons were welcoming and added to the overall great vibe. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was fried crispy but the sauce and toppings were unmemorable and lacked any kind of punch or umami to speak of. It came with a side of food service fries, which were crispy but served with plain old ketchup. Oh by the way everything is expensive. Starters were $15+ and most entrees, including noodle soups were $20+ which is crazy. Cocktails were $18 and no wine pour less than $16. The only thing cheap is the beer which makes sense because it was mediocre at best. Server brought the check, said "no rush" and then we waited while he sat three tables, brought drinks for three tables and took two food orders. After 15 minutes I took the bill to the till and had him run it in front of me. I still tipped because I'm not that person. Not going back, there's better beer and Asian food elsewhere.
