Walked in and there was a really nice Sephora. There was a whole display to the right side of the door with big name brands such as Adidas, Under Armor, and Nike. I came in to pick up an online order and had to walk across the entire store to retrieve my item. Honestly, I might as well have grabbed it myself and gone straight to the front to pay. That said, I got my item fairly quickly since there was no one in line. One convenient feature is that they have toys right next to customer service, so I was able to make an additional purchase there without waiting at the front. This location also has self-checkout, which is the first time I've seen that at a Kohl's or any department store. I would have given it 5 stars if customer service wasn't located "over the river and through the woods." read more

So I needed to return some Amazon orders and this location is a drop off point. I called ahead to confirm that there was an Amazon drop off here, since not all Kolhs locations have them. The lady on the phone was very helpful and she confirmed that they are an Amazon site. Yay for me! So I drive over and it took me about 15 minutes to get there. I walked up and no one was in-line. The Amazon center is in the back of the store. My return was quick and easy. I got a 5 dollar couple to use at Kolhs for my return. The first review is for the Kohl's store itself, not Sephora. My experience with Sephora is that they are very helpful at their department. My daughter needs help with choosing her first makeup for the prom last year. The lady took her time to help us find the shades and color that we like and even helped us try them before our purchase. It is quite expensive but we really like it. The shop is very organized, things are easy to find and the ladies who work there are very patient and helpful. They take their time explaining what the brands and colors that might do the job for us. Good job, ladies. Keep it up. read more

The head of security/store manager is a gem , I forgot his name but I was at Sephora and made a return which then was given to me as store credit when I payed cash , when she asked me which I wanted I was unsure and said "maybe I'll take store credit if there's something I like" came back bc there was nothing I wanted and was already given the store credit , I asked multiple times to get it in cash which was my original payment and she never called anyone for help just told me I was stuck with it , called corporate and they told me I should've never gotten the option to get it back in store credit , when I came back a day later it was a whole thing I had to go through but the manager reached out to people above him and got me the cash within about 30 min which was nice since it could've taken multiple days , if you have a problem at the store he will come through for you , super professional and good at his job . read more

This is not my first visit at this location, but will be my last. My guest and I went to this location to purchase running/walking shoes. The items we are looking for were straight ahead of the entrance. We were not there 5 minutes when 3-4 undercover white male security guards statues conveniently shopping in the exact same aisle as we were. I felt so uncomfortable and humiliated. I rushed my companion and only made the purchase to see the dumb look when I whipped out my Kohl's Charge. Just because people of a certain color walk into your store, it's it's cause to put out your entire security team. This Kohl's is very disappointing. Their shelves are all tossed around with clothes all over the place. Especially in the men's department. I went looking for some pants and casual shirts and found their selection very unorganized, almost like they had a clearance sale and people fought over the shirts and pants and then left them anywhere. I was there at 8pm and they close at 9pm. They had closed one set of check stands near the shoes and we had to go over to the other set of check stands. The line was ridiculously long. I waited almost 20 minutes just to check out. This Kohl's is ghetto more then ever. Crying babies, dirty isles and clothes on the floor. Don't even get me started on the clearance rack! read more

This is my store because it is close to my house and it has its own parking lot and who needs to drive down by the mall and its ugly traffic when this is here? Support your local stores or lose them!! However, right now while there is a pandemic it feels like there is not enough cashiers to actually help people quickly enough. I do not want to wait 5 minutes in a line of other people to pay for things. Luckily each time I have been in the last two weeks I have bought over $100 worth of stuff because the prices and deals are freaking awesome! I miss trying on things and I will be returning some things now that I got to try them on but I sure do appreciate the great clearance section and when you get cashiers that have down time, maybe they could help organize things into actual sizes instead of the heaping mess there is. You don't even have to clean dressing rooms and its still a mess. Overall, when I need a gift or a piece of clothing- this is where I would go first. Good store! Under the normal Sephora return or exchange policy if you do it within 30 days, you can do a exchange or return for your full money back if it's been more than 30 days, then you can only do it for store credit still for money back though. At the Kohl's at Sephora this does not apply. If you do not return within the first 30 days they will do nothing for you. I received it cosmetics, waterproof, mascara, defective, and did not know until I opened it up for my summer vacation for which I bought it it was clumpy and disgusting not at all how the formula is supposed to be upon turning for my vacation I went to return it and they told me that a return or exchange is not possible as it's been over 30 days. I really like my home Kohl's in Redlands CA but I came to this one after double, triple, quadruple checking they had something I needed in stock and couldn't find elsewhere. When I got to this store they didn't have the item I needed on the floor so I asked an associate nearby and he said he would page someone for that specific department. Waited about 20 minutes and no one came so I did a full lap around the store to find the man I originally spoke to. Nowhere to be found. The price scanners have pages and an associate was paged for the department four times and no one came. Really really pissed off because I drove about half an hour to this store. In my defense, I specifically asked the checkout girl if she did to which she replied she was certain she had. I know better than to go here but recently had surgery and this was the closest place to my house which is 12 miles from Kohl's. As my wife was about to pay for her purchases yesterday the checker (as is their custom) asked if she'd like to apply for a Kohl's card. My wife declined but asked for her senior discount (as is offered each Wednesday.) The checker told her he could not give her the senior discount unless she applied for the Kohl's card. My wife said she's been shopping there since the store first opened and has never heard of such a thing. The checker then tried to get her to go to the back of the store and talk with Customer Service. My wife refused and told him that if this was necessary she'd simply not purchase the clothing she'd selected. The checker thought about the situation briefly and then decided that he could grant her the senior citizen discount (which she is entitled to by corporate store policy.) I know that Kohl's pushes it's employees to sign up as many new credit card applicants as possible. I don't know if there is some incentive ($) to do so but this clerks eagerness to sign my wife up apparently lead him to lie and say he could not give her the discount she is entitled to. I later spoke with a woman who identified herself as the assistant store manager and tried to explain what had transpired. Instead of listening to what I was saying she was intent on interrupting and defending her employee. Her poor attitude and customer service skills were palpable. In the end she tried somewhat to make amends by offering us "Kohl's Cash" and said she would talk with the cashier involved. I told her we were not trying to get something for nothing and declined the offer of Kohl's Cash. We only wanted to bring to her attention a situation she should be made aware of. I could understand better the problem we'd had with the cashier after trying to speak with the assistant manager and listening to her attitude. This is not typical of our experiences with this store. Perhaps everyone involved was just having a bad day. Lying to or misleading a customer however is not excusable. read more

First off let me say I do love this store very much and come here often! There are always promotions going on and if you sign up for the newsletter you get coupons once a month (more if you have the VIP card). The place is usually in order when I go there, clearance racks are usually on point! I also get decent customer service when I go! The best employee by far is a young lady by the name of Alex! She super sweet and always has a smile on. She also is very helpful!! Last time I went was with my mom, we rung up separately of course, and she has Alex while I had an employee I didn't recognize. She looked around the age of 20, but was very rude and short with me. I forgot to mention I had the kohls rewards card and didn't remember until after my purchase, since she did not offer. I missed out on my points, kind of bummed! She also have me a bag that was ripped halfway down and seemed very moody. Maybe she was just having a bad day, who knows. Alex is the best! And no I don't know her outside of being a kohls employee! Overall love the store, just wish I didn't have that one bad experience (though it does not shape the review of the store). This might be considered petty, but Im pretty annoyed with how the situation was handled in the end. I had no real complaints about this place up until when I went in on the 4th....I had my items scanned and was given my total- It was over the amount available on my kohl's card, so I let the customer service gal know "hey I want to have "X" amount put on the kohl's charge card, and then I will pay the remaining balance with my personal debit card". She assures me "oh it'll only approve what you have available" well long story short I swiped my kohl's card- for some reason the entire transaction went thru and now I am negative in my account -_-. Called to try and get this fixed somehow and even offered to go in to do this and they were the complete opposite of helpful. I dropped the ball and didn't get any names of whom I spoke to like I usually do, and was basically told I needed proof that it was their mistake. Well obviously I don't have an audio recording or crystal ball, so here I sit with a negative balance and a small fee FOR being negative as well on my kohl's card. I learned my lesson and next time I will say "NO RUN THE AMOUNT I JUST ASKED YOU TO". Just wanted to have that little fact known so it doesn't happen to others. I did some returns today...... the young lady did a Kohls charge look up with my drivers license. Easy and young lady was nice.... I then shopped and went to register with my merchandise and some gift cards. They told me I wasn't allowed to purchase the gift cards with a kohl's look up that I had to have my actual card with me because of holiday fraud that happens.. what on earth??? U have to use my valid picture ID to look up my kohl's account!!! How would their be fraud!!! I left my entire purchase there.... last thing I needed after a long day at work! Omg. We came to register for our wedding. First off, I seen an associate who looked liked a manager. I asked where we can go to register. He sent us all the way to customer service. Their was a nice gal with great service. However, she did not know how to register us, so she insisted that we go to a kiosk to sign up. As we were there, for some reason the kiosk computer wasn't working great. We had to double tap the letters we need and was very frustrating. We finally got through signing up by creating a password and log in. As we get ready now to fill in more info for our wedding; date, time etc. We get to shipping address.... This is where the heart ache begins. For some reason it does not take our shipping address. So being as patient as we can be, we enter it 3 more times. Mind you, that this computer had us re enter all the info again, until we got to shipping address again with the double tapping. We finally got heated so we push button for assistance. Finally someone shows up. Well now, this associate says she doesn't know how to use this computer either. We look at each other, like great. Does anyone know anything here? She recommends we go to another kiosk computer to use. We said fine. We walked over and started process all over again. Guess what? It gets to where we need to put shipping address again. Same result. We push button again for assistance one more time. Finally another associate comes to help, and to our wonderful surprise. He doesn't know how to use it either or to give us any assurance. He finally gets to talking to a manager and told him our scenario. He comes back and recommends we go back to the customer service area and get it set up there. FYI. The manager never came to our assistance. We said fine. So we go back. As to our surprise now their was a few ladies there to help us and one of them knew how to set us up. She gets right to helping us. Well she starts all over by asking our info again while she does it manually on her computer. For some crazy reason she is now having issues with the computer and says she can't help us and if you want to just call on the phone and set it up. We were so fed up by this time and was not in mood to discuss this with management. So we left. I can not believe that kohls hires people without teaching them all ins and out of their store. If that includes a kiosk computer. That means train them. It really showed lack of leadership there at that store and the manager at that time was not able to come out and resolve this issue. We are never going back to this Kohls again. Please train your associates. I know that the kiosk is from an outside source. That's no excuse, have them train you in case customers have issues like this. Someone or all of you should know how to use that computer. It's in your store and it's there to buy from your company. I went to this Kohl's for the Black Friday deals. The prices, selection and layout are all what you'd expect from a department store. They seem to have great discounts and Kohl's Cash is a great bonus. The customer service I get here is generally good, but surprisingly on the busiest shopping day of the year I received outstandingly exceptional customer service from Bernice. She spent a long time looking for the exact size I had been unsuccessfully searching for. She was so helpful and thorough that I even came back later that day to buy more. She was still there and offered to help again. She even volunteered and went to the stockroom to see if they had any more available in the size I needed. I wish there more people working in retail that would go above and beyond like this. read more

One star by default. I went into Kohl's yesterday to use my 40% off coupon for a Juicy Couture bag. I wanted to use the kiosk for free shipping as well as my coupon that was only valid for that day. The kiosk was not functioning correctly, so I requested the assistance of two managers. Both of which were unable to assist in fixing the problem. I was redirected to a customer service phone line in the back of the store. They were unable to place the order via customer support, but they offered me $2.99 off of my purchase. Gee, thanks! I called their corporate line, placed my order with free shipping and my coupon. In closing, Kohls just isn't worth the hassle, and the staff isn't very helpful or knowledgeable. read more
