The place is nice and casual inside with friendly service and plenty of places to sit. I tried the recommended single combo with cowbell burger, French fries, and chocolate milkshake. The French fries reminded me of in-n-out but in a a bad way in that although well seasoned they turned stale pretty quickly. The burger didn't have much flavor. Was at the Roseville Galleria Mall and was craving a burger. Krush had decent reviews on Yelp so we decided to give it a try. Finding the place was a challenge. It's actually not in the main food court on the 2nd floor nor just below it on the 1st floor...but it's actually outside. Walk through that entrance between Tiffany's and LV into a an outdoor area. It's actually to the right of Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and in front of the outdoor children's play area. We ordered a strawberry milkshake, fries, and the cowbell burger. The milkshake was very milky and lacked a strong strawberry flavor. We were not a fan. The cowbell burger came with bacon, crispy onions, cheddar cheese, and bbq sauce. It was a lot smaller than I expected but then again the menu did say "mini burgers". It was a bit bigger than a traditional slider on the Hawaiian rolls. There was a generous amount of bacon and crispy onions. The patty was seasoned well. We really enjoyed the French fries. Given the size and shape of each piece, I think these are hand-cut. Ordered the original - it looked nothing like it's pictures. The garlic fries were too greasy, salty and had way too much garlic doused on them. The only thing that deserved the stars were the location, ambience, abundant seating etc. Don't like they there no condiments on the tables and you have to get up to use ketchup mustards , mayonnaise packets that were sticky in their piles. This was my favourite food truck for so long!! Coming back in town I decided to go for the nostalgic bite over Shake Shake (which is incredible but you can get everywhere now)...and I was let down. The slider was okay, all of the elements were there with the crispy onions, but it was overcooked and just kinda blah. The buffalo chicken was just not great, seems like it's a much cheaper patty than it used to be and was lacking in sauces...but overflowing with coleslaw. The tots were as they always are, solid when hot, ok when they cool off. The Diet Coke slapped tho. Overall kinda let down and the place feels cluttered. There were no other customers and I didn't trust the cook/servers to not do something to the 2nd burger (especially as it took way too long for being only burger being made). Back in 2011, Krush Burger began as a Roseville-based food truck operation, with a couple of food trucks, serving small-sized burgers, and known by the name of "Mini Burger." A couple years later, the trucks had grown into a small chain of brick and mortar restaurants, serving several varieties of mini burgers. Fast forward to 2022, and Krush Burger is now a one-store operation, located in the Westfield Galleria at Roseville, in Roseville, CA. The dining room is very spacious, modern, and very well lit by natural lighting, thanks to the many floor to ceiling windows that let in plenty of light. The furniture is tables, with some near the windows that are high, like you'd find in a bar. I really liked the decor, as it was very simple, yet attractive. Krush Burger operates like many "fast food" restaurants, in that choose your selection from the overhead menu - there aren't any paper menus - pay for it, receive a "number" in return, pick any open table of your choice, and when your order is ready, your "number" will be called, and you pick your order up at the pick-up window around the corner from the order window. At Krush Burger, you don't get a "number," instead you get an electronic box that flashes and buzzes when your order is ready. I found the receipt interesting, as at the bottom there was a section for a "Suggested Gratuity," and the suggested amount to tip the wait staff. There is no service, so to say, as the counter person simply takes your order, relays it to the kitchen, and when your order is ready, it's placed at the pick-up window for you to pick up. That being said, the staff were certainly friendly and helpful, so I did leave a gratuity as a sign of my appreciation. The menu is posted above the order counter, and is very basic and limited. The menu at Krush Burger concentrates on what made the restaurant famous: "Mini Burgers." There are no printed menus, as the menu is displayed in the store, and on the restaurant's web site, to allow easy phone and web orders. From the "Mix N' Match Mini" section of the menu, I started at the top and went with an "Original," along with a "Cowbell" mini burger, and an order of "French Fries." As a side dish to accompany the "mini burgers," I ordered "French Fries," which are my go-to side to enjoy in tandem with a burger of any variety. The fries were, good, with an ample quantity, lightly seasoned, but not spectacular by any means. From the top of the "Mini Burger" menu, I went with the "Original," which was a great place to begin. This is the burger that started it all, and the menu describes it as, "Lettuce, tomato, American cheese, plus house sauce." The meat was sandwiched between a fresh bun, which was just the right size to fit the meat, which made for a perfect meat-to-bun ratio, which is crucial to a great cheeseburger. The burger was garnished with a large slice of fancy lettuce, and a slice of tomato, and dressed with "house sauce," which I suspect is simply "Krush Burger speak" for "Thousand Island" salad dressing. The bun, meat and cheese were warm, and the lettuce, tomato and sauce were cold, which, along with the perfect meat-to-bun ratio, made this an amazing burger. If you're like me, and you're a lover of "old school" burgers, the kind you grew up with as a kid, you will absolutely LOVE the "Original Mini Burger!" My second burger from the "Mix N' Match Mini Burgers" section of the menu was the "Cowbell." The menu describes it as, "Bacon, crispy onions, smoked Cheddar and BBQ sauce." Like the "Original," the "Cowbell" is small in size, but it's a premium burger in every way. The "Cowbell" highlights the same delicious meat patty as the "Original," and the same spot-on meat-to-bun ratio, which makes both burgers the same size. A slab of perfectly melted, smoked Cheddar cheese was placed on top of the meat, and on top of the meat and cheese... two slices of bacon, fried perfectly to almost crispy, which made for an amazing accent. The meat was placed on a bed of flavorful, crispy, deep fried onion rings, which beside adding robust flavor, added a "crunch" to the burger. The "Cowbell Mini Burger" was finished off with just enough tangy barbecue sauce to add an amazing touch, but not enough to overwhelm the burger. John Wayne would be proud to enjoy this western-style burger, as everything worked together to create a burger taste sensation. The deep fried onion shoestrings really helped to put this burger over the top, as they added amazing flavor, along with a satisfying "crunch." The "Cowbell" burger certainly "rang my bell!" You'll have to look long and hard to find this much delicious flavor packed into such a small burger! This place was good 10 years ago when they had the 'ninja' burger. Since then it's 'meh' at best. The food isn't terrible but it doesn't stand out either. In other words it's pretty average.... At best. There are so many good burger spots in the Sac metro area these days such as Burger Lounge, Shake Shack, Willies, Suzy Burger, In N' Out, hek even Falafel Corner's burgers are better... that there is little reason to go here. I'm giving this place a one star because they don't have any labels or details about their Veggie burger. It doesn't say if it's impossible, beyond or bean burger on the menu it just says veggie burger. In addition, there is no distinction between the two burgers as well because they both come in the same packaging as the regular burger. Unfortunately due to this mistake my fiancee who doesn't eat meat had some of the regular cheeseburger and she hasn't had meat in so long that she's been having trouble stomach ache equivalent to food poisoning. If I hadn't tasted some of her burger I don't think she would have been able to tell it wasn't impossible or beyond meat. Luckily, she didn't eat the whole burger. I'm honestly extremely worried about when her stomach will feel better. The woman who took our order was very kind and refunded the burger she had eaten. So disappointed in my recent experience here. I've had Krush Burger in the past and I remember liking it quite a bit, but I'd forgotten it existed. When moving, I unearthed a gift card from a few years ago and thought it would be the perfect time to go back. The gift card was denied for being "too old" and only being valid for the "old owners," wherever that means. I get that businesses change hands but I still think they should honor old gift cards--they shouldn't expire! How would I know that someone new owns it now? The worst part was not only did they not honor the gift card, they didn't even attempt to give a discount or any type of extra customer service for the inconvenience, just "nope we don't take it" and tough luck to me. By this point we had already made our order and we were starving so we just got the food anyway, though we would have been more careful about our order if we knew we didn't have a gift card as this place has gotten VERY expensive. Two combo meals of (just two) sliders, fries, and drinks were over $40!! The food wasn't even worth it, either. We popped in to this location at the Roseville Galleria one night! It's in the center plaza outside by the kids play area. Parking structure is nearby so it's convenient. The place is very cool inside. Not a ton of seating, but enough, and it was clean and cheerful. The employee who helped us was also cheerful and helpful. The burgers are small, but not slider size. I ordered two, but one would have been enough. I really liked the BBQ burger with the onion strings. I ordered the BBQ burger a classic burger and sweet potato tater tots. So this could easily have been a five star review.....but it's not. On the description/menu board it lists the ingredients on each burger. I ordered my classic burger as is. BUT, when it arrived it was slathered in mustard. I HATE MUSTARD. It was not listed on the ingredients or I would have had it taken off. Went in on my lunch to try this place out. I looked up what they offer through their website, got prices, estimated cost and everything prior to going. Went in around 4pm and there were no other customers. Everything looked pretty clean but the floor was oddly sticky. I noticed the pricing on the board they have above the register was more expensive than online. They even had little menu cards in front of the register with the pricing listed online. I asked about it and at first the cashier told me it was the combo pricing vs regular pricing. I told him it was different pricing for the same thing and he mentioned that he was new so he wasn't sure. A woman came from the back just to say "Its not updated". No mention of honoring the listed pricing or anything. I ordered and waited for my food. I later was told by someone else that they give you buzzers once your food, which I also was not given. I was on my phone when a bag got put on a counter on the side. No order call out, no mention that it was anyones order. Another associate stood next to the window it was on and mentioned it was my food after a minute. The food itself was...interesting and not in a good way. The fries were heavily seasoned on one side and not enough in others. But consistently tasted like fish for some reason. They were not very crispy and thin too. The burger was nothing special. Krush Burger is one of those places where I would deal with mall parking on a weekend just to get food from here. They're located by the Macy's parking garage, outdoor playground and other restaurants such as Ruth Chris's steakhouse. During my last visit, I dined outdoors. Employees are nice and always get my order correct. The restroom 1 for females and 1 for males. The food. The food is the star of the show. I do not eat beef so there aren't as many burger options for me at Krush Burger, but they always have at least 1 non-beef option. It's usually chicken but I notice in the spring they usually offer fish as an option for people who give up red meat for lent. I've heard pretty good things about Krush Burger and since I was in the area, I figured I'd try it out and see for myself! It was around 5pm on a Friday. They weren't too busy so I was able to order right away. I order 1 Original Mini Burger (~$4), 1 BBQ Chicken Mini Burger (~$4), and Garlic Fries (~$3). I also got a free Fountain Drink with Yelp check-in! The Original included beef, lettuce, tomato, American cheese, and house sauce. The BBQ Chicken included crispy BBQ chicken, American cheese, crispy onions, and BBQ sauce. The Garlic Fries were mixed with chopped garlic, parsley, parmesan cheese, and served with ranch. The mini burgers are definitely small but I would say 2-3 of them would do the job. The buns are surprisingly super soft, so I was able to really taste the inside of the burgers a lot more than just the buns. The Original was a solid choice. I particularly enjoyed the house sauce that was in it. The BBQ Chicken actually impressed me. For one, I was glad the crispy chicken wasn't doused in BBQ sauce, because that would have been overpowering. There was just enjoy BBQ sauce were you can get a taste in every bite. The crispy onions were a nice add-on giving it that additional crunchy texture. The Garlic Fries were so freaking good! I was eating them super slowly to savor them. Considering I first tried their food way back in 2011 from a truck, I was very curious to see how this food would fare to my standards at an actual sit-down restaurant. Their one and only location in Roseville, CA, this is located at the Roseville at Galleria shopping mall. Its not technically in the mall but they have a standalone building that neighbors El Fornaio, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, and a children's play area. I had come here with my lady on the evening of Sunday 9/17/17 around 7:00pm. The inside of this place is rather small with seating for about 20. They do, however have a decent outdoor patio area. The menu at Krush Burger is very small since they only carry 3 types of burgers on their standard menu; the "Original", "Cowbell", and "Philly". They also have one "featured" burger; in this case it was the "Buffalo Chicken". Now keep in mind that these are considered "mini" burgers as you can purchase a combo meal that includes fries or tater tots and a drink. You also have the option of ordering beer, wine, ice cream cones, and milkshakes. I ended up opting for two mini burgers (priced at $6.95 for the pair); in this case I went with the Original and Cowbell. The Original consisted of an Angus Beef patty complete with lettuce, tomato, American cheese, and their house-made sauce. The Cowbell offers bacon, crispy onions, Gouda cheese, and BBQ sauce. These are made to order while being hand toasted on their freshly baked Brioche buns. And an added feature is that if you check-in on the Yelp app, you are rewarded a voucher for a FREE medium-sized drink! Since I didn't want fries, my total only came out to $6.95 + tax. After paying the cashier, I was given a pager (since I decided to dine-in). I then proceeded to get napkins at their condiment station which is located at the side of the restaurant (this is also where their restrooms are as well). Best of all, they have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine where you can customize your drink anyway you want it. About 5 minutes later, my pager buzzes as my burgers are ready! I took advantage of the comfortable weather and decided to dine outside. Considering these are "mini" burgers, they are quite big. To put it into perspective, they are comparable in size to a McDonald's cheeseburger but with more filling on the inside. The Original was tasty while the toasted bun had the perfect amount of crispiness. The Cowbell was far better as I particularly loved the melted Gouda cheese with the crunchiness of the bacon and onions. Overall, you definitely get your money's worth for these burgers only priced at around $3.50/each. All in all, "Krush Burger" is a decent well-priced place that is in an ideal location. It can be hit-or-miss as the building itself is almost tucked away from the main focal point where the kids play area is at. But this place is simple and simple is good. And after a long day shopping, the prices here won't burn a hole in your wallet. It's also an ideal place to take the kids as one child can easily get filled up on one burger with a side and drink. The meals were about as much as in&out burger. The service was friendly enough and they did bring the food out in a timely manner.
