Lanzhou Beef And Noodles. The Broth Is Rich And Savory.

Mark is a good explorer when it comes to finding interesting restaurants. This time, Kung Fu Noodle near Bethel and Godown got the nod. I was very impressed with the Chicken Lo Mein. It's an authentic Chinese style with thicker, chewy noodles, onion, cabbage, zucchini and tomato in a rich savory sauce. Mark got the Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup and he was very impressed with the flavors and textures. Their price to portion ratio is very good. Neither one of us could finish our meals so we both had food for dinner. The service was super fast and friendly. I'd easily come back again, so 5 Stars.

Love an authentic Chinese noodle place! There's truly nothing that beats some fresh hand-pulled noodles. Also, you can get some authentic classics like Liang Pi (wild tbt to my childhood right there!!) and who doesn't love some classic DanDan noodles? Service is super fast every time and you never have to wait long for seats - but beware it can be a little packed during peak hours! Also you can order the Teamoji drinks from next door while you dine here if you want!!

This place is all about the noodles. The hand-stretched noodles were great in both the Chicken Lo Mein and the Dan Dan Noodles and elevated the dishes to something you won't get at a typical noodle restaurant. There is such a good tooth/chew to the noodles it's hard to stop eating them. The spices were great and accompanied the noodles well. Our waiter was kind and quick with our drinks and orders.

We were looking for a new place to go that offered Asian noodles. We walked in and it felt so clean and welcoming. Once we were seated, the waitress was so helpful and helping us decide what to order according to the things we like. She then told us that every noodle dish was hand pulledand we got super excited! We ordered two different dishes that were absolutely amazing! The Dan Dan, noodles with pork was just the right spiciness, with delicious slippery, chewy noodles. We also show God a noodle dish that was broccoli that had beef, carrots, etc. It was out of this world! We prefer our soup spicy, yeah this dish was not spicy, but absolutely incredible! Try this place out! You won't be disappointed if you love good noodles!

Kung Fu Noodle was spectacular! The service here is top notch. The environment is very cozy as well. I had the Dan Dan Hand-Stretched Noodles, I couldn't recommend these more. The noodles and very fresh and the broth was rich & flavorful. The medium heat was perfect to clear your sinus, but not make it overly spicy. This dish was one of my favorite Asian dishes I've had. Kung Fu Noodle offers a very unique menu that is a must try!

Authentic noodle spot'! The noodles are soo good & have a great chew to them! My dad loves super spicy food & requested for them to add the numbing pepper to his dish and they did! The staff was super sweet. Our party had 2 people who didn't eat meat but didn't want to miss out on the hand-pulled noodles, so we got the tomato egg noodle soup which was delicious! Big portions too! You know the food is good & authentic when your Asian dad approves lol

Finally made it! Omg! The #7 Dad Dan hand stretched noodle is amazing. Perfect blend of spice and heat. It almost seemed like it had a creaminess. Pot stickers were good. Soup noodles were not on the menu but were being offered as a special. Loved them! Also tried the lamb skewers. They were just alright, lacking an Asian flair. Hubble had the #1 classic Lanzhou beef noodle soup. It was also good. The noodles in both dishes were great. Restaurant is clean, service was good. While they do have a parking lot it is shared with a few other establishments that also stay busy.

My friend who travels frequently to Asia brought me to this spot. I'm in the Bethel road area often but I have never noticed this restaurant before. It's in a strip mall, but the indoors is not what I expected based on the name and location. It's really nicely decorated and looks more upscale than you'd expect. We came an hour before close but service was quick and good. I'm gluten intolerant and vegetarian and the waiter let me know there are gluten free noodles available (the menu doesn't indicate this) and he custom created my meal with gf noodles, tofu, bok Choy and the spicy dan dan sauce, which was the right amount of spicy (I have a pretty high tolerance) and great flavor. My friend ordered the pork stomach appetizer and normal Dan Dan noodle option. We also got an unfiltered sake and he got an Asian beer. Everything was delicious and I'll definitely be back!

Hand stretched noodles are one of my favorite things to eat in the winter and the noodle soup was perfect for the cold weather. The beef noodle soup came with lots of bok choy and scallions in the warm broth, but I remember there being more carrots in the one at the Dayton location. It was still good though and the portion of noodles was large. Since the broth is on the blander side, I also enjoyed eating it with the chili oil sauce, which added a nice kick. The Dan Dan noodles were so flavorful and surprised me with how good it was. The minced meat and sauce created the perfect creamy texture mixed with the noodles. The Chinese hamburger was an interesting dish. It was an English muffin type of bread, filled with what looked like pulled pork and green peppers. It wasn't spicy and the flavor was savory with a slight crunch from the pepper. It was packed with meat, so I got pretty full just eating this! They have lots of indoor seating and the service was quick. Will be back for more noodles!

Kung Fu Noodle is finally here from Dayton Ohio. After rated as one of the top places to eat in the US this place has expanded to CBUS. They are known for their hand stretched noodles similar to Jiu Thai and specialize in Northern Chinese cuisine They are right by Tea Moji. I really enjoyed their Dan Dan Noodles they are delicious and not too overpowering spicy. They noodles are chewy and just the right consistency. They have skewers as well similar to Jiu Thai which are great. Definitely try them out

'Working out opening kinks, but it's open! Good noodle places are hard to come by, but this Kungfu Noodle just opened where there used to be YF Chinese. Same as YF, you can still take advantage of getting a cold bubble tea next door before sitting down for a bowl of Braised Beef Noodle Soup. Potstickers are super meaty. If you don't feel like a hot bowl of noodles, there are also cold noodle options. read more

Had the cold noodles with pork and hubby had the chicken lo mien. And we shared potstickers that were on the dry side but Both dishes were very good. The place was lacking ambience and we felt rushed almost. I don't believe we were asked if we wanted drinks they just brought water. Would love to go back and get a better service and environment that matches how yummy the food was! read more

Omg!! Best new Asian food I've had in a long long time and by new I mean I haven't had Dan Dan Noodles. I love any spicy noodle soup like a spicy ramen or just regular pho. Which is why I wanted to try this place. Got lamb skewers and Dan Dan noodle take out. Was a little disappointed because originally the sauce wasn't anything like pictures as in it just wasn't enough which I get maybe I should have had it there. Anyways, it's close so I went back got more and he gave it to me without charge because I showed a pic of what I thought I was ordering and I was willing to pay for it. With more juice for the Dan Dan Noodles, OMG!!!! So f******* good. Lamb skewers amazing too!!! Get Dan Dan Noodles!! read more

I had Dan Dan noodles and wow! It really packs a punch with flavor and heat! You have to try this restaurant. Waiter said he could make it less spicy so keep that in mind. They have the only hand pulled noodles in Columbus. read more

This was a surprising good place! We were quite satisfied with (what seems to be fresh) chewy noodles. Of all things, the (generic) chicken fried rice was so YUMMY! The various beef noodle soups that we ordered (sorry can't remember which ones but) were tasty and soothing after a long day of running around. The waiters were attentive and nice. Ordered through Uber Eats last night and really enjoyed the smashed cucumber salad and matcha mochi donut. For my entree I opted for chicken in my Dan Dan noodles instead of the typical pork. The serving was very generous but the chicken was slimey and fishy tasting and just did not taste right. I'll definitely try again based on these good reviews and order the Dan Dan with pork to see if that makes a difference. read more

Hand pulled noodles! There something about the texture that's addicting. The bite of china ground pork noodle soup was very flavorful! You can pick different types of hand pulled noodles (thin, thick, wide and flat). It's definitely worth trying! The only thing I didn't love was that the thick vermicelli noodles was salty. As for service, we felt rush to check out, while we were still eating. This happened to me twice within two days of going here. read more

Had Kung Fu Noodle in Columbus for the first time on 8/2/2024. Ordered Dan Dan Noodles, lamb kabab and Braised Pork with Rice with my son. We ordered online and brought it home. I liked the lamb kabab as a type of appetizer and my son liked his Pork and Rice. My hand-pulled Dan Dan Noodles were just ok. Did not hate them, but also did not love them. Just average. Maybe eating in the restaurant would have been the better call? Will probably give them another chance, but something different next time. I ordered Kung Fu Noodle for the first time through door dash. I ordered the braised beef noodle soup with the hand pulled noodles. It comes with noodles, tomatoes, braised beef, bok choy, scallions, and parsley. It came fast, fresh, and hot. I love that they filled the Tupperware for the soup all the way up, because most places only give you half the Tupperware for soups. It came with a large portion of noodles. I didn't get to choose what kind of noodles but I got the thinner ones- they are chewy and delicious, but I think I would like to try their wide wavy noodles next time. The soup is flavorful and tastes great! I'm Asian and I am pretty pick with noodle soups. I'm glad I decided to try Kung Fu, and am excited to try more dishes from them. Great portion size and it was like $16 on door dash, not bad at all! The beef is also tender and well cooked. I will be ordering this again. read more

Went to kung fu noodle and got the Dan Dan, lamb/tripe skewers, cucumber salad . The Dan Dan was good, nice flavor and original, loved the noodles. Cucumber salad was good and great to refresh the palate for additional flavors. The skewers were not great despite all the glowing reviews. The skewers taste of strong cumin and the cumin is in excess so as to overwhelm the senses from tasting other flavors. The skewers are cheap so order one so you can see and review. The service was good but a little sketchy interpersonally with the waiter and front man hovering in order to prompt a good review for a free item. A decent meal but nothing to write home about read more

Been to this place on multiple occasions and today was not good. $24 for two dinners to go, not the problem. Got my bag and it was light, I opened it and their were 2 appetizer containers. I questioned the guy and he assured me they were the right size. I am a super fan of Kung Fu Noodle in Dayton, so glad that they finally came to Columbus! Cannot Wait to try it at the first day they opened on Saturday! Although they were super busy at first day opening, they make everything fantastic! The food was so delicious and the hand stretch noodle was so authentic Chinese style, trust me, you gotta try it there! Steamed cold noodle and classic Lanzhou beef noodle soup is always my first choice, and the skewers and the cucumber salad taste so good! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone I know! This place is a semi-hidden gem and my new go-to Asian spot on the west side. The Dan-Dan noodles are legitimately one of the best things I've ever eaten. I've only tried a limited few items on the menu - the chicken stir fried noodles, Dan-Dan noodles, and the spicy wontons - but all are legitimately unreal in terms of both flavor and portion size. Inside is small yet tasteful, clean, and service is fantastic. Definitely a major recommend for anyone in the area craving noodles. read more

People on Reddit had a lot of good things to say about this place, so my wife and I gave it a try. The restaurant was in a small strip mall on Godown Road, with other international restaurants. Inside, it looked pretty hip, with black painted walls with license plates hanging on them. The tables had burners on them for hot pots, I'd assume. My wife got the beef noodles, which I tried and liked. I had the pork Tan Tan, which had a unique taste, which was satisfying. The service was quick, but we didn't feel rushed. The only drawback was that the garlic broth, although tasty, stayed with me quite a while afterwards. Overall, I'd totally recommend this place to anyone. read more

A newly opened restaurant, used to hear my friend from Dayton recommend it and so happy they opened one in Columbus! We get cold noodles and vermicelli with chicken broth, also bbq lamb as an appetizer! If you've never experienced the magic of hand stretched noodles, let me tell you something... order the spicy Dan Dan noodle! These noodles are a culinary marvel, pulled and stretched by hand, chewy, springy, and utterly satisfying. Me and my girlfriend were getting bubble teas next door and saw this new Chinese restaurant popped up and decided to give it a try. Glad we did!! Established in 2019.

More and more restaurants are opting for pre-made meals to increase profit margins by simplifying operations. However, we're going against the tide. Ninety percent of our food is handmade, using nearly 100% natural ingredients, devoid of technology and chemical additives. Each dish guarantees a natural taste and freshness. The production process of Lanzhou noodles is complex, which deters many businesses. But we embrace sincerity and the utmost respect for food and our cherished customers, choosing to handcraft our dishes to bring food back to its natural state. This is our original intention. With the support and love from our customers, we've decided to promote this culinary culture. Hence, we've opened a branch in Columbus. During our soft opening, as all ingredients are not uniformly processed but handmade, there might be some areas that require adjustment due to the high volume of orders. When I walked in the atmosphere was great, I could smell good food and heard conversations. There's a large area with large round tables to right and to the left are booths and almost all of them were full. The menu was a mix of Americanized Chinese, traditional Chinese and included Dim Sum as well. There were a number of dishes we didn't know much about and there were dishes being enjoyed by other customers that looked delicious. The wait staff was more than happy to explain the dishes and/or show us on the menu what someone was eating. They took very good care of us and shared the tasks of bringing our food, filling water, and just checking in. Now the food. The food came out very quickly! We all received a well filled bowl of rice. First out was the string beans, perfectly cooked, not droopy, and the flavors of garlic and hot peppers. Even though the peppers were there the heat was not overpowering at all. Next was the shredded pork with garlic sauce. The textures of the pork and bamboo shoots were a nice contrast and the sauce was perfectly balanced and craveable. The special grilled lamb, I was told, was some of the best in the city. It was tender and well spiced. Even when he said he was full he just couldn't stop eating it. For the dim sum order we got the shrimp dumplings, soup dumplings, scallion pancake, and sesame balls and they brought a soy sauce and a chili oil with them. The shrimp dumplings were tender but the dough was pretty sticky. I think this is normal and they were tasty with some of the oil on them. The scallion pancakes were very thin and gummy, this is the only thing we ordered that I would not get again. The soup dumplings were very small but packed a lot of flavor. The dough did stick together a bit so unfortunately some of the soup did leak out. The sesame balls were the hit and we're just the right amount of sweetness that we considered them desert. They were large, at least 2" in size, with a wonderful sesame seed covered exterior and a soft, sweet center. Chuan Jiang Hao Zi is a wonderful somewhat hidden gem. If you want traditional Chinese cuisine including all the different offal they have it and I would totally try it here over anyone else if I was brave enough. Portions were a good size for the price. I highly recommend checking them out!

Fast and good, and competitively priced for hibachi. A big portion, but not a huge, two days' worth of leftovers portion. But I was stuffed and couldn't finish it all. When I saw the drink cooler with just water and a few juices, I figured I'd have to go with those, but they do have fountain drinks. And they actually have a pretty good variety, cola, diet cola, cream soda, blueberry, cherry I think, and a few others. This is one of the best noodle I ever taken. We lived in China before and the hand-stretched noodles are hard to make. It request certain temperatures and humidity. The Lanzhou beef noodle soup is super legit and authentic. I am super exciting that they will offer beer soon. So it will be perfect to have it with the BBQ skewers.
