Good boba tea! We have stopped here several times now and the selection of teas and milk teas etc is very good. We tried several flavors and got the Taro and Mango milk teas. It gets busy at certain times, especially evenings.

    Medium Taro Milk, $4.55 + $.55 for bubble (4.8.22)
    Carroll N.

4.8.22 I've been meaning to try the milk tea for awhile and finally made it out here this evening. Service was fast and staff was friendly. I got the taro, which is my favorite flavor. Unfortunately, I wasn't a big fan of the flavor, but I can't pinpoint the exact reason. Perhaps the flavor was mild and faint to me. My husband took a sip and said it left an aftertaste. I did, however, love the boba. It was the perfect level of chewiness. Although the taro fell short, after perusing the menu I'd definitely come back to try the Kung Fu Milk Tea with Oreo, Mango Slush, or Oreo Slush as everyone deserves a second chance.

Busy place since it's nearby The Mall in Columbia. Fast service once you place your order around 7-8 minutes wait and your order is already ready. They are used to crowds. We ordered Mango Slush with mango jelly and Taro Milk Tea. Both were amazing. Such a good treat on a hot day.

I love the variety of tea and juices here! I got the wintermelon milk green tea with boba today. The tea was a little sweet for my taste but the boba was perfect and freshly cooked. I also didn't know that if you show a receipt showing that you ate at Bonchon (Korean fried chicken restaurant next door) the same day, you can get a free upgrade to a large size cup. Today wasn't my first time here! Most of the times I've been here I was satisfied but sometimes the boba can be slightly undercooked so I'm knocking 1 star off.

LYCHEE BLACK TEA and TARO MILK
    Jasmine K.

A little pricy but drinks are very good. I love the lychee tea with aloe jelly added in. The people who work there are typically very friendly and efficient and the environment is perfect in substitute for like a coffee date or something. They offer board games and etc so it's definitely a great place to go to catch up with some friends!

I don't expect much from this place since it's a chain but was surprised that some of the drinks were pretty good. Both of the milk teas (wintermelon & taro) were good but did lot care much for the peach oolong tea. It was kind of sour. The interior looked a little dirty, so it's not the vibe if you want to sit and chill. It's more of a to-go type of place in my opinion.

My sister and I got a wintermelon and taro milk green tea. Both came out sweet AF. We even asked for 30% sugar for the taro. I'm a frequent goer to KFT but the sweetness for both drinks at this location was over the top. Boba texture on point though, as usual Might have to go home and dilute this.

The amount of times I go here should be a crime lol. No other boba place (near me) has some close to KFT, especially the Columbia location. The location is great even though it's hard to find parking sometimes. Walking into the restaurant, it's set up with group seating, which is nice if you want to sit down and enjoy some boba with a friend. There's also board games too. The staff there is usually pretty friendly and I always ask them what recommendations they have so I can try new flavors. In terms of the boba, I mean you can't go wrong with certain key flavors, especially the taro milk tea. If you're a boba fan like me, definitely download the app so you can get some rewards for all that money you're already spending on it ;)

Definitely the smallest KFT I've been to in the area, but as someone who always takes their taro to go, it didn't really matter much. They've currently got covid restrictions up to protect the working staff: no seating indoors (only a few tables anyway) and a shield and microphone at the counter. The microphone makes communication loud and clear through the screen and the masks. I've said it before, but out of all the DMV bubble tea options, I believe Kung Fu Tea does taro slush the best. I haven't been to a KFT location in awhile, but noticed the large cup size did change. Not sure if it was changed to make it smaller or simply easier to hold - anyone else notice the same?

We went there today for their Valentine's Day special which is buy 2 get one free. My husband got the mango slushy and I got a taro milk tea for tonight and a mango green tea without ice so it won't get diluted when I take it with me to work tomorrow. I'm very happy to see that they already fixed their broken glass door from the vandalism shown on the news yesterday, and that they are back to business! We are really enjoying our Valentine's Day/ Asian new year treats from there

Wait: Only a few people in line even at the lunch hour. Server: Very sweet group of folks working there. Patient even though it was really loud inside. Food Quality& Order: TAROOOOOOO. Okay so basically I only ever get Taro. Prior to coming to Kung Fu, I only had Boba Tea in San Diego. I went to the same place weekly. It was a weird transition for me to try something here. Although I do think it's a little mainstream and the taste wasn't as organic as I had hoped, I would still come back. Atmosphere& Decor: Its a cool spot with games, plenty of tables, a bit tight in the waiting area but overall a nice stop in.

Inside. I appreciate their practice towards the pandemic!
    Ayumi N.

Ok let's not talk about atmosphere inside, we all know it's still Covid season and many places are struggling with making their places back to how it looks... right? That said, their boba tea was possibly the best boba tea we've ever tried in the US! We got Taro flavor and honey tea, they weren't too sweet unlike the most of other places' boba tea. Highly recommended!

Oreo Wow w/o the Oreo. Seriously, I don't know how you forget one of the main ingredients, the Oreo
    Tiffany J.

Two drinks and both were flops. Very disappointing. How do you forget the Oreo in the Oreo Wow? It's one of the main ingredients. And the guava black tea was missing the chia seeds and the berry crystal bubble.

It's a smallish space and indoor seating was really full at 11 AM on a weekday. Because of rain, the outdoor benches were not in use, and I saw closed-up patio-umbrellas too. I ordered from a kiosk or you could order online or in person. I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was made quickly by welcoming staff. It was a regular size croissant with very light cheese and a layer of crispy bacon pieces in a well toasted croissant. The flavor was good. This café also sells a number of beverages, including fresh ground espresso, and various teas And they sell some bakery goods, candies, and quite a variety of dry-packaged teas and coffee. The parking right in front Café Jun can get pretty full, but there's plenty parking in the rest of the shopping center. You can enter the shopping area from eastbound US-40 Baltimore National Pike, or from westbound Frederick Road. It's just east of Centennial Lane/Bethany Lane and about a mile West of US 29. The larger shopping area has a diner 3-strip mall sections, one of which is called Princess Shopping Center, so I'm a little confused which mall-name covers which shops. It's pre-sweetened so no need to add extra vanilla syrup or anything. This does not taste like a traditional matcha, which in my opinion tastes like dirt. This is a sweeter, dessert like matcha. I didn't care for the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It was kind of dry and it tasted like something was missing. The croffle was amazing. It has a nutty, pecan like taste to it and it was topped with vanilla gelato and blueberries. I couldn't really taste the maple syrup but it was delicious nonetheless.

Many business owners think about their products and services from the perspective of a provider or…read morevendor. Not the customer. Here's some advice: Walk through your business the way a customer would. How do they enter your space or navigate your website? How easily can they identify what they need? How smoothly is their order fulfilled? Where are the natural opportunities to upsell or add value? What does the payment experience feel like? Every step shapes their perception of your brand. If customers sense high effort, confusion, or indifference from staff, they will look elsewhere. Of the four customers I saw during the visit to your location: 1) the first one was frustrated because the ingredients advertised weren't available, so instead of being guided to an alternative she had to make that choice, 2) The second customer was frustrated because there was only one person working, and while this individual was making his order, the soul worker did not acknowledge any of the other customers, so he was frustrated when the customers pulled his attention away from crafting his order, leaving him with a negative experience, 3) the third. Customer was clearly frustrated because she was purchasing premade juices, but still had to wait an under amount of time before even being acknowledged by staff, 4) the fourth customer (myself) after waiting in line and have to ask a new employee who just came on shift if I could be helped was immediately informed by the staff regarding what they were out of and what they didn't have. Here's a tip: Instead of delivering a flat "we're out," train your team to offer alternatives that keep the experience positive. If you're out of vanilla on a hot day, guide the customer toward other refreshing options. They came to you to solve a problem--thirst, hunger, comfort--and your job is to preserve that momentum. When your marketing has already done the work of getting someone to your door or onto your site, honor that investment. Even if you can't provide the exact product they wanted, create a smooth transition so you don't lose the sale, the relationship, or the goodwill. Your brand, values, and reputation are being formed in real time. Inconsistency, poor service, indifference, or discourtesy can undermine your business before it gains traction. A customer‑centered process is your competitive advantage. For customers who are trying to support your business, especially as a black owned business, you are making it hard for customers to give you their money. Please fix this.
