Asian drinks cravings fixed! This is a small Kung Fu Tea. Honestly, all Kung Fu Tea's that I know of are small anyways hehe. There is like only one worker. Seriously. ONE! So a bit of backstory: I spent my college days in Tampa, FL where there are TONS of options for boba, and Kung Fu Tea was my favorite :) Unlike the majority of other boba shops, they got their slushes to the perfect slurpable consistency. However, this location did not uphold those expectations for me. My taro slush was very chunky, and I could no longer slurp it up through my straw after maybe the first 4 gulps :C So 1 star off for that. The flavor and sweetness was perfectly fine. The boba was unbelievably soft and gummy as they should be. It was really just the slush consistency that threw me off. On the other hand, my husband got a taro milk tea, and that thing was bomb. I was so jealous. It was perfection. So yea, I definitely have faith in Kung Fu Tea and I'll be back in no time, but I won't be getting a slush from this particular location anymore. read more

Ordered a Thai milk tea and they gave me a regular milk tea. My husband and I went back to see if they could fix it but I don't think they understood they gave us a regular milk tea instead of Thai milk tea. The drink itself is brown instead of orange. This location is very stylish and modern looking with high ceilings. I came here since this you location is a lot closer to me then their UTSA Location. I always wanted to go, but never had time to head that way, but I'm so glad I finally got to try this place out. I purchased their Kung Fu milk tea and their passion fruit tea since they were having a buy one get one free on opening weekend. I enjoyed this boba tea place so much. The kung Fu milk tea was so good that it didn't last the car ride home. Their passion fruit was just as good finished that through out the rest of the day. Lastly, their boba was my favorite part of their drinks. It added a whole other texture and flavor to their drinks. I will definitely be back to try all their other drinks. read more

(07/17/23 ~ 2pm) Went in for drinks today, my boyfriend and I were the ONLY people in the store. The two girls working were talking badly about other employees the entire time & managed to get both of our orders wrong. (: We asked them to fix it, which they did incorrectly, and then they told us to prevent them from messing up in the future WE need to do a better job at checking the screens while paying? This KFT location is so disappointing...if you ever come here after 7pm, GOOD LUCK! The employees here could not care less. 1 hour and 45 minutes till closing and they are out of green and back tea. The gentleman behind us had to bring his drink back because they forgot the boba. Another couple straight up left because they were out of everything. I could understand 15 or maybe even 30 minutes till closing, but over an hour and a half to go and you are out of all your most popular items on a weekend night?!?! Really?? Went here for the first time with my family. There were a few people ahead of us. Ordered 5 drinks for $34 plus a $6 tip at 1:38 4/16/23 on the self serve kiosk. 45 minutes later, only a few drinks had come out. There were still people ahead of us who hadn't gotten their order. We asked to cancel and refund our order and the girl didn't know how. A second employee had just come on and she didn't know how either, so we left without our order or our money back. I want to say that I only only saw maybe 4 drinks come out in the time we were there. We simply could not sit there waiting for over an hour for drinks. The staff was very unfriendly, but I think she was incredibly overwhelmed, so I can't really blame her. I do wish she would have told us it was going to be a long wait so we could have saved ourselves from the hassle of now trying to figure out how to get our money back. read more

This is a fun tea shop on Broadway. It is conveniently located near Trinity and Incarnate Word. They have many locations throughout the United States, and three locations in San Antonio. They have a large menu of beverages. I had a hot large Kung Fu Milk Tea with Oreos on the bottom--if you order anything heated you have to get the largest size. They had ample tables, but the chairs weren't very comfortable. They also had a few board games you can play as you sip your beverage. If you are a fan of Taiwanese teas, you should definitely give this place a try. read more

I'm pretty disappointed and wish I hadn't bought a large. I got the Thai tea (I LOVE Thai tea) and I'm not sure that there's even any tea in it. It just tastes & looks like frothy milk. Also, usually Thai tea is red or orange and this is definitely not. I'm leaving 3 stars bc it seems like it would be good quality if I could actually taste the tea & the app is a cool feature. The wife and I went here thinking they would have tea, which they do but not the kind we wanted. I read the reviews and noticed they do bubble tea, and a sort of ice teas but not regular hot tea or anything without other stuff added. I get it some people really like this and that is great. I did order a yogurt green tea which was alright and the wife had a yogurt orange tea which again was alright. There was no seating outside unless you wanted to sit on the curb. We chose not to sit inside because it was congested and actually pretty chilly. The staff was alright. Quick on orders and moving the line quick. I personally did not like it because it did not feel like a tea house or place you wanted to sit and have a conversation. It was like a Starbucks drive thru. Get it and get out. My normal bubble tea place is closed right now so I ventured outside my comfort zone to try Kung Fu Tea. I had no idea what to get that would be equitable to what I normally get at my other place. I settled on the Rosehip Lemonade with bubbles. I used the app to order ahead which was convenient. For my drink, I got 30% sweetness, but this was honestly still too much for me. If I go again, I'll get no sweetness because the drink itself was already sweet. It was a little sour too which I appreciated. I liked it well enough to where I'll probably get it again if I'm in the area. It was ready when I arrived after five minutes. The workers were helpful and friendly. I always loved KFT, I've had it multiple times in Dallas and glad to find another one. Always nice to have your teas customized with sugar, bobas, toppings and ice choice. Only this is that their systems were giving them trouble and couldn't add any discounts such as military. They were really sweet about it so I didn't mind not getting 10% off. I always love this place! If I had a choice of where I got my Boba tea anywhere in town, it would be kung-fu tea hands down. I first had this chain when I was in Vegas and fell in love with the salted milk cap options! I cant say I have been to any other Boba tea place that has this. Another perk is that you can adjust the sweetness levels in almost all of the drinks. Huge plus for a guilt free Boba treat! I usually get the winter melon tea with a salted milk cap. If your interested in the mil cap, get a normal tea and add it on. Milk tea + milk cap = upset tummy. read more

We enjoy coming here when we need our boba tea fix. Highly recommend if you have not tried it before. It's an acquired taste (the boba) as some folks don't like the texture of it. Once you can get past it, they offer so many different flavor variety options. We stick with the simple, classic Milk Tea. For our young friends that are not ready for caffeine consumption just yet, the menu selections are limited (we will usually go with a mango/fruit slushee).
