Last Thursday 3/7/19, I called on a nice looking 4-Runner. I made arrangements to go take a look at it that evening @ 5pm. I texted back and forth with Gary, plus received email confirmations of the appointment. A few hours later I received a text from Gary saying that he had an appointment at 5pm with another customer, and wanted to reschedule for a different day. I told him that night was best for me, and that I needed to stick with my appointment, but I would probably be there closer to 5:30 due to traffic. He told me I could meet with someone named Steve when I got there. I also inquired about putting a deposit down on the vehicle because I liked the looks of the vehicle that much. They told me that they didn't do that. I got to the dealer and talked with Steve. We took it for a test drive. We got about a 1/2 mile (never above 20 miles per hour), and pulled into an empty parking lot to make sure that the vehicle would go in and out of 4 wheel drive. The vehicle had a cargo rack on top with lights. I got out of the vehicle to check backseats and what not, while Steve tried to figure out how to turn the lights on the cargo rack on, just to see if they worked. I opened up the back hatch door and the wiring harness that goes up to the lights for the cargo rack catches on fire. YES ON FIRE! We managed to get the fire out, and Steve drove us back to the dealership. My test drive was maybe a 1/2 mile long and never getting above 20 miles per hour. So the two issues I found in such a short test drive was tires rubbing (cab mounts) when turning because a major detail when lifting a 4x4 Toyota was not done, even though the add said it was professionally lifted. Of course the wiring harness was the second issue. After returning to the dealership, they low balled my trade in. Figures. The 4-Runner was parked and Steve told me that no one would be testing driving it until it went through the service department and was fixed. Buying it "as is" with those discovered issues was never an option offered to me. I will say I thought the vehicle was priced fair for all the extra things it had on it. I told Steve I was still interested. Steve told me that as soon as it was fixed he would call me and I could finish test my drive. I said okay let me know and I'll come back. The numbers we talked were close, but having such a short test drive it would be hard for anyone to decide to buy a vehicle "as is" that night. It seemed like Steve just wanted to go home. I left thinking that I would get a call in a few days when it was fixed, and I would go back and test drive it more and then talk numbers and trade on a vehicle that I really liked. Yesterday, Sunday morning the 10th I receive a text from one of the three different phone numbers that I had received texts from when I was setting up my original appointment. The text told me that 4-Runner had sold. I called to talk to the sales manager (can't remember his name), but I do remember he was an asshole. Extremely unprofessional. He did not want to hear that I was never called back or even offered to buy the vehicle as is, like someone else was. He proceeded to tell me that he was going to be there for 8 hours and we could spend all that time on the phone arguing. He also said that I should have bought the 4-Runner that night even though I couldn't test drive it for obvious reasons. He said that they discounted the price for the person that supposedly drove it before me, although the fire on the wiring harness didn't happen until I drove it a half mile. I was very disappointed in the lack of communication, especially with the sales manager that wanted to argue about why I didn't buy the vehicle with such a short test drive. That guy has no business dealing with the public by phone or in person by the way he talked to me. Shame on Kuni Auto Center (Holman Auto Group is the owner) for having him be the manager of anything. AVOID BUYING A CAR FROM KUNI AUTO CENTER LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, LACK OF KNOWLEDGE, LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE, AND IF ANYONE CAN BE TREATED LIKE I WAS TRYING TO BUY A VEHICLE AND TALKED TO LIKE THE ASSHOLE MANAGER TALKED TO ME BY PHONE, I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO DEAL WITH THEM AFTER BUYING A VEHICLE AND HAVING A PROBLEM. What a horrible business! I had inquired about a used vehicle's availability and was set-up with an appointment to test drive it. I let the person know I'd be driving in from Gresham, an hour away, so it was important to let me know any issues before I wasted my time driving out there. I arrived at 10am for my test drive to find no one knew anything about it or the person I was working with. Finally Bob came out and said the internet sales team doesn't know anything about their inventory and it's best to calm the center directly. Oookkkeeeee. Bob proceeded to walk us all around the lot looking for the vehicle, which we never found. He looked it up finally and said it was "in their shop." I asked what for and no one knew. Bob said he'd call me with more information and when the car was ready for a test drive. 2 days later, after not hearing from Bob, I called him. He told me the car was still in the shop and he was told they were waiting for parts. When I asked him what parts and what was being done to the car, he said he had no idea and they were discouraged from communicating directly with their collision center. Ummm oookkkeeee. Once again, Bob said he would call me when it was out of the shop and was ready for a test drive. I again made a point to say I was very interested in purchasing the car so please do not sell it out from under me. After 3 days of still not hearing from anyone I called again. Bob said it was still in the shop and he was very sorry for the delay. 4 more days pass and I call again, still never hearing from anyone. The boy at the front desk told me Bob was not available and that he would check on that car for me. He then said it was released from the shop that very day and that he would get a sales person on the phone to speak with me about it. I was ecstatic since it was a graduation present for my son, which was happening in a week. 30 seconds later the boy was back on the phone telling me he was sorry but the car sold. Unfortunately this boy got the full wrath of my fury. How on EARTH does a car sit in the shop for 2 weeks with NO ONE knowing what was being done to it? How does a car I said I wanted get sold out from under me? How is this POS business still operating? I apologized to the boy on the phone saying he was not the intended target of my fury and that he should definitely quit because he shouldn't work for such a dishonest business. They certainly couldn't be paying him enough to even answer their phones. I asked to speak to a manager and was told everyone was with a client, oh how convenient! I find their tactics abhorrent and would never purchase a single thing from any KUNI dealership ever. SHAME ON THEM. read more

I hadn't planned on wasting any more of my time on Kuni Auto Center but after today I have decided it's best to caution others about this dealership, the salesmen and management. I purchased a car at the end of October and had to bring it back not two days later because it was leaking oil (with only 35K!). The salesman had printed me out their inspection list which said it passed with no oil leaks, hmm.. The service center gave me a roundabout defense and I was told to keep an eye on it but that they believed it wasn't actually leaking, just left over oil from when they did the oil change. OK fine.... I leave the dealership and notice the headliner was soaked! They had washed the car and lucky for me this made the sunroof leak noticeable. I turned the car around and brought it back ready to return it for good. But they talked me into letting them keep it for the weekend and look at it. Didn't hear from them, so I stopped in that next Monday afternoon....OH "the key was lost" and we're waiting on a locksmith....I was furious. I bought a $20K + car and hadn't even been able to drive it but once. This all happened in about a 3-4 day time span. I told them to take it back. Yet then I find out they had already put the loan through to my credit union and now 3 weeks later my bank is still waiting on their refund check. This place only cares about making money, they don't care about the shape of the car or the happiness of their customer. Glad I was able to return this car, I ended up buying from Speed Sports and had a great experience with them. I'm writing this post now because I called Kuni yesterday to find out why my bank hadn't received a check yet, they never returned my call. I called again today and got a "we don't give a shit" type of reply but that corporate had supposedly cut the check yesterday!! Three weeks later....wow! In my first inspection of the used car, I noticed minor issues (e.g. fog lights were out and bulbs within the car were all burned out) I was told that these would be replaced and a new battery installed within the week. They assured me that despite these minor issues,the car was in great condition. Completely safe. The runaround on the phone I got during that first week should have been my first sign that I shouldn't trust this dealership. However I waited the now two weeks, at which point I was told everything was fixed. When I picked up the car none of the issues had been addressed. I wouldn't have known about the battery, but the lack of fog lights and dashboard lights were obviously clear. As this point I returned the car the following day and was told that they would have to order bulbs especially for my car. When I showed up to pick up the car at this point, they told me the key was lost. I waited in the lobby and ultimately showed up late for work while they tracked down the key. Finally, now three weeks later, I picked up the car and was again reassured that nothing was wrong with the car other than these now fixed issues. A week after I signed the paperwork, the left passenger window began popping out the frame. Within a month, I started noticing the car vibrating and the check engine light came out. It turns out that the car required a new transmission. I would strongly recommend that you NOT use this dealership for used cars. I gave them multiple chances to fix and/or be honest about the condition of the car. I drove this car for less than two months and not it requires work on it that is comparable to the bluebook value of the entire car itself. This is my first Yelp review. I felt compelled to make an account so that I could warn other customers, in the hopes of saving them from the needless stress, debt and unprofessional treatment that accompanies this dealership. read more

I am sorry to say I had a bad experience overall. I got a beautiful used CRV. Two things went wrong: First was they wouldn't give me more than a full 1000$ less than the low mid range Kelly Blue Book trade in value. And this was after telling me that "we offer the most on (brand) trade ins in the entire metro area". And then I still had to haggle HARD to get that amount (1000 less than KBB). He acted like he was doing me a huge favor by getting me that... Second was the price of the car was listed online and on the windshield sticker as $16,995. After all the haggling about trade in, they came to me with the paper explaining what would be the amount financed and what the payment would be and they acted like they were doing me another big favor when he said, "the car is listed at 19k we're gonna give it to you for 18,400." Big smile, so happy for me... I said "but the car was listed at $16,995" he said there must be a mistake. He went to check with his manager and came back saying they were gonna do me another favor by knocking off 400 and give it to me for 18k. I said "no the sticker on the window RIGHT NOW says $16,995" he basically said look, I got you (a thousand bucks less than) what you wanted for the trade, it was our mistake and we really apologize for that so to make up for it we'll knock this 400 off. So basically there's another thousand we were off... I was there a total if SIX hours. I should not have taken it but I just needed to get OUT of there! They get 2 stars from me because they have a 48 hr return policy. I called and told them I needed them to give me 2k back on the deal or I was returning. They said they'd honor the price mistake, but not give more on trade. I returned the car If it wasn't for the 6 hours I was basically held hostage and all the stress I would give more stars. But after the rip off, and mistrust with a price switcheroo? Shame on you Kuni! I read the reviews here and had to go to the bank to cancel my down payment check (2500)... Read them and you'll see why. Untrustworthy dealership. They have no idea what is going on. They sold me a certified pre owned car that needed 3000 dollars in repairs right from the get go. The car I bought has an issue that everyone except Kuni can say is present, but nobody can figure out what it is. Kuni has made me never want to buy a used car again. I'm stuck with this lemon , and unfortunately don't have any recourse since nobody can actually diagnose the issue, although they acknowledge that it is there. I WOULD NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE JOKERS! They don't care about anything but the sale. Once you have bought the car, they don't care about your satisfaction at all. It's a shame that I have to put even one star on here. Spent 6 hours trying to buy car only to have to return it the next day as the car made terrible noises after it got past 60 mph. While the return process went smoothly, it took 3 weeks, countless phone calls, and two visits down to the store in order to track down my return. The sales people were EXTREMELY rude. Not once did I receive a call back and each time I showed up trying to get some answers no one seemed to have time to answer my questions. I first reached out to Kuni when I saw a 2014 Mercedes c350 for sale 3 weeks ago. Salesman Steve Hartwig reached out and fielded my questions about the car. The car was and STILL IS listed at 49,512 miles. Weeks later, I decide I want to move forward in the process so I scheduled a $400 inspection at the Mercedes dealership, schedule a time with Steve to drive down to Beaverton to look at the car and take it to get inspected. I get there the next day at agreed upon time, Steve isn't even there and I am helped by Bob Lewis, who has me fill out paper work and when I finally get behind the car to take get it inspected, it has 72k miles on it. HOW DO YOU HAVE A CAR ON YOUR LOT FOR 3 WEEKS WITHOUT REALISING IT HAS 22.5K MILES ABOVE THE LISTED MILEAGE. Answer: You Don't. They just played dumb and said they didn't notice. They just blatantly lied about the car and they were ready to let me go waste $400 of MY MONEY on an inspection of a vehicle. I wasted copious amounts of my time today just to get baited and switched by this sketchy used car dealer. 0/5 stars. read more

We went into Kuni late in the evening with no plan on buying a car that night. We were shown a car I had seen online, and everything was exactly like they claimed. Very good quality, at a less than recommended price. I was impressed but wary still. Jeff Fisher then helped us from beginning to end, we explained our credit might not be the greatest and how our finances were. He was kind, understanding and made us feel comfortable not like a shark heading for his prey. He got us an amazing interest rate, when we mentioned the tank was empty on the car he had it filled to full, he stayed late, explained everything thoroughly and he hassled the bank to give us a great deal. He even went so far as to give me a peach when I felt like I was going to faint (I'm pregnant). Kuni Auto Center has made two extremely loyal customers, and I will recommend them and Jeff to all who are looking to buy a quality used car! read more

The sales process was easy, except for the fact that they only gave me 3 gallons of gas. However, whoever is true used car manager is that decides what to do re: fixing the vehicle to be sold needs to be re-evaluated. I bought a 2010 Chevy Avalanche from them and then after buying the vehicle from them thought it would be okay to drive it to Leavenworth and back. After driving it on the highway found that the vehicle shook, so I proceeded to take it to the local Firestone thinking that the balance was off on the tires, and found out that the rear wheel was bent and told that somebody else noticed it before because the wheel was marked. So, long story short, I ended up spending close to $3000.00 to fix the problem that should have been caught and fixed by the service department. read more

Very pushy and I felt unprofessional. I contacted them about a car, got multiple emails in minutes, then a call 5 minutes later. Talked about it and through email said I would be in the next day. Got another phone call from Alex who is a salesman to discuss my upcoming visit. Did research that night and after seeing reviews on the dealership I decided it wasn't worth the 70 mile drive each way to look at the car, costs nearly $30 in gas to get there and back in current vehicle. Called Alex and left voicemail saying I decided I was no longer interested in the car. He called back and wanted to know the reason and I told him it wasn't worth it to me since there are a number of bad reviews about the dealership. He assured me that all management had just changed 4 months ago and it wasn't the same dealership as it used to be, but again I said it just wasn't worth it to me and I was not interested in the car, I thanked him for the call but said it wasn't for me. 5 minutes later the finance manager called me, I did not catch his name, but I felt he was very unprofessional. He wanted to know why I was no longer interested and I told him. He then argued that certain sites show mostly good reviews and he didn't know anything about bad reviews, then backstepped when I told him a couple sites and he said they sell a large volume of cars of course there would be bad reviews. He kept asking what he can do to get me in there and I repeatedly told him I was no longer interested in the car. I also said I felt like the price was high, he told me it was priced competitively and asked how I came to knowing the price was high. I mentioned I know the finance manager at a different dealership, he wanted to know who it was and what dealership which I would not disclose and that really bugged him. When a car is priced above what another dealer high book is, it isn't competitively priced. The call ended by him saying Alex would give me a call in a couple days to check in, and me saying I don't want anymore calls and I would call back if I was interested, to which he simply hung up on me. I am glad I researched and didn't waste a trip because I would have simply walked out as soon as they started trying to push, there is always a different dealer and another car. Stopped by to see if they had an inexpensive (read cheap) car for our college son. We couldn't even get into the dealer before we were stopped by an un-nametagged salesman who obviously was offended by our request. He encouraged us to look for cars on the street or Craigslist. We also tried to talk to him about exceptionally nice used Jeeps but he told us the price smugly and we felt uncomfortable. We felt embarrassed but thanked him for his bluntness. I contacted Kuni Auto Center on Valentines Day via their website inquiring about a vehicle that appeared to be fully loaded for a great price. I noticed that the pictures didn't match the description and asked for more details fairly early in the morning. One of the web services employees responded right away before they were open to let me know she would get more details once she was in office. A short time later the build sheet for the vehicle popped up in my email. The listing was incorrect but the vehicle was still very reasonably priced. I replied that I would be in that afternoon to see the vehicle and I received an email shortly after from Gary letting me know he would be looking forward to seeing us. Now my girlfriend and I are on the younger side of people purchasing a higher end automobile but I never once got the feeling that I was being judged... if anything the opposite was true. Gary was very pleasant to deal with and I don't feel like he gave me the run around or lead me astray. I ended up buying the car and the financing was all handled quickly and they worked with my credit union so the approval was a snap. I am now driving my dream car and for less than I expected to pay. I am very pleased with my experience and would certainly shop with Kuni again. read more

Found their car on Cars.com. We were coming from 800 miles away so numerous phone calls were necessary to ensure condition. About 80% of their description was accurate (filmed windows not factory tint) but had a huge problem with the registration, took almost 2 months and finally had to finish it ourselves, including the cost. Not to mention they charged dearly for the registration and ended up with only 6 months of current registration! I would not do business with them again! read more

One of the most disappointing experiences in car shopping ever. I started out looking over two Mercedes c300's , both of which looked in excellent condition. The website had great pictures, taken in their studio , with just the right information. The salesperson was courteous and patient and it seemed very likely that I would buy from them before the week was out. They even did their own inspection and sent me the report which listed no issues. Despite their claims that their "inspection" would be comprehensive and ensure vehicle quality, I took it into a certified Benz shop for my peace of mind, before purchasing it. Best decision in my life. Once the front bumper was removed, it was clear that the vehicle had been in a past fender bender and parts were literally falling into my hands when the technicians lifted the vehicle to inspect the underside. Kuni had insisted that the vehicle was "clean" title and had very little maintenance to it. Pretty clear that the vehicle was cosmetically enhanced but very little actual work had been done on it. There is just no way that an inspection by Kuni could have missed all these glaring issues. When I brought the car back to them and showed them the reports, no surprise, no regrets or apologies. Instead the guy tried to sell me a BMW , despite the fact that they had just tried to sell me a soon to collapse piece of metal. I had started out with high expectations based on other reviews here but I would strongly advise people to steer clear of them now. They are excellent in marketing, sales service and cosmetic enhancements to the vehicle but a thorough pre-sales inspection brings a lot of issues to light. read more

Well when I got there I was bombarded by sales people which is the norm for any car dealership, the vehicle I was coming to see was already running sitting there.. Me and my wife decided we liked the 2015 Suburban LTZ. So we decided to purchase it. Immediately after deciding to purchase the vehicle the salesman started being rude, and when signing the papers to purchase to vehicle the finacier startes trying to upsell me extended warrantys which I declined. Then he told me I was stupid, and that all the electronics will fail within 3 years and I needed all these extra warrantys. After declining AGAIN, I signed the rest of the papers and got out of there. Well within 9 days of buying it, I was in a crazy accident in which I literally put the Suburban through a City Hall brick wall after hitting a car. No injurys thank god. But only 1 of the airbags went off. That's when I found out that the Suburban was recently wrecked and repainted... Anyways I hope they do business better with other people and try not to be so deceptive. read more

2 years ago I bought a Smart ForTwo car from Kuni Auto Center at the time we were not grandparents, it was an excellent deal and I had always wanted a Smart Car. It was a 2015 with only 40 miles on it and a great purchase price. I was very happy with our purchase with no problems with the vehicle. We have since become grandparents and now expecting our second grandchild in June. Needless to say a Smart car is not conducive to hauling grandkids around so started searching for and found a Hyundai Accent advertised on Carfax.com from Kuni Auto Center, imagine that! I made the inquiry online (3-10-19) along with two other inquiries and Kuni was the only one to answer, first from Devin then Shane who set up an appointment for us to test drive the Hyundai yesterday (3-11-19) which had a good Carfax report for a vehicle used as a rental. We were given courteous service and Shane was very helpful. I feel we were treated fairly and I am at this point happy with our purchase. Although reading some of the negative reviews has me concerned except that my experience with Kuni Auto Center so far has been a good one, but to be fair there is good and bad in all reviews as well as in all car dealerships. So for now the first day after purchase I am a pleased customer. Shane did call and thank us for the business and to call with any questions. In closing, reading the Kuni responses to the bad reviews which in my opinion are a customary PR response. Kuni could go one step further than the typical PR customer service response by offering to "make it right" with the customer regardless. I realize that is not always feasible or profitable but it makes a HUGE difference to the reputation of any business! read more

Treated great until I finished the purchase. I was promised the scratches on my used FJ cruiser. After the paint guy worked on it there is no difference, but I was told if I paid 349 dollars he could fix it at his shop. Interesting that it was in the contract to be fixed but it didn't get done. The I contacted the manager with my disappointment. He was nice and I sent before and after pictures. Haven't heard back from him. Its been almost a month now. This was the tip or the iceberg. I have five other times that promises were made and mistakes were made each time. Maybe its just me and they don't like me. The reason for the two is the service guy was the nicest guy and tried his best. I appreciate him and his help but not one other person. I have purchased 3 cars with Kuni and my first car experience was great enough to encourage me to go back when it was time to upgrade cars for myself & husband. Sales/Ben was fantastic. The finance team, extended warranty BS has been a total nightmare. The finance department sells "extended warranties" which are truly just extended service contracts. These contracts are full of read ink that is not fully disclosed at the time of purchase. I was told I would not be able to purchase an "extended warranty" after the purchase of two cars which is an out right lie. Anyone can purchase a 3rd party contract for extended service at any time. I was unaware of this at the time having never purchased an extended warranty. Material misrepresentation much? It has taken 7 weeks to have this resolved. Also be sure to follow up with your lender, neither of the 2 I financed through received automatic payment information that was to be delivered through the dealer. Yes, they made it right, but it should have never been wrong in the first place and it sure shouldn't take 7 weeks and lots of my time following up on others mistakes. read more

Don't believe the hype. Their prices look good when browsing, and that's how they advertise. When you ask them they'll tell you that they try to be the top 1 or 2 "advertised" price for the car. That's the key ADVERTISED price. They won't come off their price at all, and when I suggested they lower their price the salesman became very condescending. I had to ask for the keys on my trade-in back several times while he told me he complained about my offer. I ended up getting the same car elsewhere for the same offer I made to Kuni. Do your research and you can find a better price. I talked to 4 dealerships on my search, and the sales manager I met at Kuni was the least friendly. read more

Bought a car from Kuni Auto Center. Had issues from the get go. They made it a hell to get the problems fixed that they promised as part of the deal. But after a ton of haggling, they did. After that, we found that the radiator was leaking. This sucked a 1K to fix it out of our pocket. Then we had to change to brand new set of tires (all 4) because we had a flat 2 days after we purchased the car. After 5 weeks (more than a month) after purchasing the car, we received a note from them to get the car to DEQ to pass the test - and duh, the car fails the emission tests. Without this, we can't get registration plates from DMV. Kuni Auto Center sold me a lemon - a rotten lemon. This is a belated review, but thought I needed to 'cool down' after my experience here. Brought my 2007 Lexus GX470 in for a front fender bender repair this past winter. The person in charge of my case was a guy named Isaiah Martin who right off the bat had an incredibly confrontational and negative attitude (this should have been the first red flag for me to request someone else). Anyhow, the shop had mostly good reviews and was a certified Lexus shop. So I dropped the truck off in early February and was given a date that the repairs would be done - in April. When I called to say I was coming in to pick up the truck, Isaiah seemed annoyed and unprepared for me to retrieve my vehicle. But the most incredible thing is that when I picked up my vehicle the dash, I found the dash on the passenger side had a network of cracks in it! I pointed this out to Isaiah and he said this is a known issue with the GX470s and Lexus' in general, which I totally acknowledge, but was surprised this car could go 10+ years without a single crack in the dash and then all of a sudden develop cracks in the dash in the couple months it was in the shop. The most annoying thing is when I brought it to the attention of his manager, this Isaiah guy then tried to accuse me of lying and said that cracks existed in the dash before I brought the car in. Totally unbelievable. I was stunned. Kuni Collision then referred me to the Kuni Lexus dealership to go through the manufacturer warranty process which apparently has a wait list of several years. Don't even bother going here. After making us wait and taking us to test drive a truck, we get back to the office and wait some more and it turns out the truck now costs 2000 more than what it is marked at on the truck window. The salesman had no information when we asked questions about the vehicle. Very disappointing experience. Only in their ass is there enough room to think that we would pay more for a truck than what they had it marked at. We weren't even financing we were going to pay cash for the truck completely. They must of thought we were dumbasses. read more

If only I could leave negative stars! We sold our truck to KAC and it was the worst experience we have had in a long time. We were connected to KAC through the KBB instant cash program. They offered a price we liked and we signed all the paperwork. AFTER that point, we were informed the business office was closed and there was no way to pay us. But they would "go ahead and take possession of the vehicle and get you a check on Tuesday." Uhhhhh???? 3 days later??? That's a terrible instant cash program! We decided that since this was a reputable dealer that it would be ok, but both of us were uncomfortable with it. There was no check on Tuesday but the truck was already for sale on their lot. On Wednesday, I was told there was a check at Kuni BMW and I went to pick it up. There was no check and no one knew what was going on. While I was waiting for info, one of the Kuni BMW employees actually looked me up and down. Wow! On Thursday, we finally received the check. That was 5 days after the "sale" and days after they were actively trying to sell our old truck. I had to reschedule my appointment to buy a new vehicle 3 times because of this mess. So much for instant cash. So much for being treated with respect. Great job Kuni! You have lost a customer for life. read more

Shotty luxury vehicles combined with sleazy sales tactics! Buyer beware. I secured outside financing from my bank so I could negotiate a belter price before I found my Cadillac Escalade at Kuni Auto Center. They let my family & I test drive the vehicle and told us all their cars go through a rigorous inspection before placed on the lot. We were impressed with the Cadillac and made an offer. Said we have our own financing through X bank and just need to negotiate price. This few hour process turned into days. The finance dept and salesman ran our credit through several banks and we had to make our bank fight for our loan from them. Each time I went in to close the deal, there was a missing document or the wrong paperwork was given to me. I also did not receive my new plates and tags for 2 months (since I had to remind them after the 1st month). Ultimately, I had to sell the Cadillac 4 months after I purchased it because the transmission was failing under 100K miles. When we test drove the vehicle the salesman told us that it just needed more transmission fluid and he would make sure it was added before delivery to us. This dealership is a waste of time and money!! I will never do business with Kuni Auto Center again. read more

Bought a used car from here in December, 2014. It is now February 2015 and the transmission needs to be replaced. We were assured by Steve that all major problems with the car were inspected for and were repaired. I specifically asked about the transmission, among other things, to Steve and the mechanic. They gave the all good and nothing to worry about. They were really selling snake oil. Do not buy a car from here, they are just out to make a buck not a customer. Now I am stuck with a used car loan and a really expensive repair bill. Will not go here again, and neither should you. read more

He said that this guy was the best. He said he had helped him buy his new car painlessly. He said this guy showed him around with no pressure and made him feel at ease. Then he recommend this beautiful dodge truck and that it was in his price range. Not only did he buy the car below kelly blue book value but he said he had never had a better more comfortable, patient experience buying a car. So I went in on a beautiful 2004 BMW X3 asked for Ben Hendrix by name and with in an hour I bought the car at a fair price with zero pressure. It was by far my best experience buying a car and I recommend Ben Hendrix and Kuni auto center to everyone looking to not just buy a car but to have a pressure free, helpful experience.
