Vegetable tempura Hot, fresh, and crispy.

Our go to for a bento box. I usually get the steak, but today I got teriyaki chicken. I got a good portion that was tender. My husband got the salmon bento. It was a good size and "it was good"! The tempura vegetables were served hot and had a thin crispy coating of deliciousness! The California rolls were fresh. Great meal! Our waitress was quick to get our drinks and order. We ate early, but the restaurant began to fill up quickly. It was still quiet when we left. We sat on the dining side.

The staff is amazing! The new menu and food is spectacular. They have karaoke on Thursday nights at 7:30-11:30pm. The vibe is chill during the day. They have a bar with a plethora of beers and liquors. Thursday Thursday Karaoke Night with $5 Draft and Wells, $8 Patron, Tito's, Captain and Jameson. Brunch every Sunday. This is my go to place on Thursday night or whenever I'm stopping by the nearby smoke shops and/or medical clinics.

First time hwre Food was great, as well we had combo bowels panko chicken and tempura. My husband had sliced steak and tempura shrimp. We also ordered shrimp tempura sushi . The salad was not great tasted very Oily. Service was ehh. Hopefully next time we go service is better

The $20 teriyaki bento box "deal".

This review is based on an Uber order experience. Terrible follow through from what is listed on the app and what the client is actually given. Ordered the bento boxes it's advertised to come with chicken, rice, tempura veggies, a California roll, and miso soup. Unfortunately, only received the first three items listed. Doesn't sound like a $20 buy one get one free deal when half of what's listed isn't delivered. I called KuniSama and they communicated that some of the items noted on the app aren't provided via Uber eats orders. This is clearly some customer misinformation and ridiculous. We ordered a fried soft shell crab and all we got were the appendages because there whole lot of crab missing.

My first Teppanyaki experience to this to day, one of the best! I laughed so hard my face hurt. Best environment, just show up with your whole group AT ONCE, they seat you all together at once so don't be late! And they taught me how to Sake bomb!! Great memories.

    Salmon Bento Box Dinner

Husband was craving yakisoba noodles and said that he had really good yakisoba noodles here back in the days. So decided to dine in for dinner. We've been here before but don't come often. Arrived just alittle after 5pm Friday evening. Waited a few mins at the front for someone to greet and seat us. Finally got seated. I ordered a salmon bento box sub fried rice (+$3) and my husband got his yakisoba noodle dish with white rice and he also ordered beer. Took about 20mins for his beer to arrive on the table and about 30mins for our food. The people next to us who ordered after us got their meals first. My fried rice was cold and bland and the salmon was lukewarm and the flavor was okay. It was just eh... it was filling but not satisfying. Sad to say this place might be going down. The servers were nice but just took forever and the food could be better. Definitely not how it used to be many years ago.

We had an amazing time at Kuni Sama. The food and cocktails were amazing. I had the special and fresh roll, definitely coming back they were so good. The bartender and sushi chef were wonderful and made our date night so memorable.

TLDR: good food & service, a bit pricey, inside is kind of cramped I came to try Kunisama again after their remodel. I have to say I miss the teppanyaki tables and chefs, but this was a good change for them! It does feel a bit cramped though. Anyway, we came on a Thursday night and it was packed. If you didn't have a reservation you were going to have to wait. For being understaffed and having a full house I think they handled it well! The service was great still. We had quite a few things so I'll go head and list them out: Baked mussels: honestly probably the best ones I've had so far! Flavor was great and texture was perfect! Poke Nachos: loved this! Wontons were perfectly crispy. I do wish they took a yardhouse approach to this and spread them out on a long plate so some chips weren't plain and other weren't overly saucy! Side salad: this was bomb as always, but the pricing is a bit steep for the bowl size you get. I do wish it was a little bigger. It was $5 for the small bowls you get from teppanyaki. Hot mama: this was soo good! Perfect sized roll with a ton of flavor. I'm surprised I've never tried their sushi sooner! Chicken & Shrimp teppan meal: still tasted as good as before and their hot and spicy is on point! Green tea shooter: it wasn't horrible but wasn't great either. This has been my least favorite green tea shooter from any bar/restaurant so far. Melon shooter: not sure if that's the full name but this was just bad. Sister and I both took a sip and instantly set it aside. Overall, I used to love Kunisama and I still enjoy it now! Their pricing is a bit high but I feel like everyone's prices are going up. I'll be back.

    Sliced ribeye
    j t.

Ordered takeout tonight. Sliced ribeye bentobox and veggie tempura appetizer. Ribeye was thin sliced and overcooked, no sauce whatsoever. Shrimp tempura listed in description was missing. Tempura in both dishes was greasy and soggy. Probably won't go for takeout again as it's not worth the effort to go back for missing items

First time at this restaurant and we'll go back!! The sushi rolls were so delicious and fresh, it was perfectly crafted on the plate. We had the shrimp and ribeye Bento Box, such a great sized meal, perfectly presented, amazing flavor and temperature. Our server was fantastic, personable and on point!! Go Broncos We'll return... hopefully soon

    Samurai fries/tots. Sooooo good.

Had a late lunch. This is the Ramen noodle with chicken. Great presentation! My guest said it was very good. I had a rice bowl with chicken and teppan shrimp. I substituted the rice for stir fry veggies. I also had the sauce on the side. The hot and spicy sauce was on point. The portions are on the small side especially for the price. Food was very good though!

The menu presented extensive and adventurous options that as first timers could have been intimidating but with the help of Donavin our delightful server, we selected the perfect seafood salad for the Mrs. and the curated selection of Maki (delicious sushi "tacos") that together made for the perfect share. Add to that a smooth Japanese beer and a surprisingly moderate overcast that made our dinner on the patio the perfect way to celebrate our first meeting 47 years ago. All his food was pretty good. The drinks were awful. My husband asked for a Vodka soda and was given a vodka tonic. At first we thought maybe the server heard wrong, but since the server wasn't around at all we walked it over to the bar ourselves and asked the bartender to remake it since the bar was completely empty (I mean not one soul) at 7:45 on a Saturday night. The second drink the bartender gave us was a vodka sprite. Maybe we should have specified soda means seltzer. Dinner bill for 3 adults and 2 kids was $250 plus tips. The food was decent but the service was underwhelming and subpar for spending that type of cash. Especially since the server seemed like anything we asked her was asking her to go out of her way. For example, we had to ask for straws, chopsticks, refills on water etc.

One thing I really appreciated was how accommodating the staff was since they had no problem storing the birthday cake we had with us and brought it out later for us to celebrate. It was a thoughtful touch that made the experience even better. I ordered the Wassabi Teppan Dinner with Chilean Sea Bass that came with miso soup, sesame salad, and your ice cream flavor of choice. The bacon fried rice was easily my favorite part of the meal as it was savory and packed with flavor. It was my first time ordering the Chilean sea bass this visit, but it was a bit underwhelming. The fish itself was cooked well, but I wish it had more seasoning and a better char to bring out its flavor. I've had the steak entrée here on prior visits, and honestly, I'd choose the beef over the sea bass next time. One small critique is the vegetables that come with the meal since it included bean sprouts, which felt like a filler. I would've much preferred more of the sautéed vegetables they typically serve, like zucchini, carrots, and mushrooms. Overall, Wasabi on Fire is a fun, reliable place for celebrations with friends and family. The service and accommodating staff make it easy to come back, and there are definitely menu items worth returning for.
