Best woman in town they're really good unbelievable. Good customer service good taste.

Under $12 for a kaatsu sandwich is a steal next to WTC, so price wise very decent for lunch, with $3 fries. Service is great too. The sandwich itself wasnt great. Only the bits you could taste the mustard actually had potential. Both of us had the same sandwich and while a shredded cabbage should be doing something to the sandwich, all it felt was dry. The meat inside was fine, but the coating was dry and there was so much chicken and little bread, which is a common chicken sandwich issue, but a to go order with lack of sauce really made us power through our water bottles.

How had I never been to Kuu before???? I stopped by for a solo dinner recently and had a great experience. I got the last seat, luckily enough, so no waiting outside (though I did see a small line as I left around 8pm on a weekday). I ordered the Geso Karaage, which was served super fresh (hot and crispy!) with a good serving size for the price. The aioli paired well with it. On to the Ramen, I got their signature spicy pork ramen - it was so flavorful and the crunch on the pork contrasted nicely with the noodles and broth! Generous serving here too, I actually took half of it to go. Would put Kuu on my FiDi ramen shortlist! Excited to come back.

Great spot! They accommodated me with my service dog without any problem. Quick, friendly service. Perfect comfort food for a rainy or cold day. I ordered the Miso Beef Ramen. What I really loved about it was the sukiyaki sliced beef, very tasty and tender. Generous portion, hearty meal. The place is small but cozy, maybe you need to wait a little to be seated but it's worth it.

Went to try the shrimp katsu burger and it was very delicious and juicy!! Loved it!! Will come back try the chicken katsu burger

Omg. What took me so long to discover this place? The chicken curry katsu was SO GOOD. Flavorful, just enough spice and the chicken stays crispy even with the sauce. I got it 2 days in a row!! Service is fast and friendly. Generous portion and decent price too. Only ordered for pick up so I can't speak to dining in.

Quick meal kind of spot Shortly after ordering our food came out Casual ambiance with no frills Takes card On a weekend, during lunch hours it was easy to get a seat Ramen here is standard (nothing spectacular but you won't be disappointed either) Pricing felt fair as well

    Tripple Chicken Yuzu Ramen

I got the yuzu chicken ramen. I was a bit disappointed with the flavor. I enjoyed the nice chewy curly noodles, but the broth wasn't at all there and the yuzu completely overpowered the chicken flavor. I would say this is a standard fast food ramen stop. It was close to World Trade Center which is why we stopped by. My friends got the tonkotsu and the veggie ramens, which they also thought were just ok.

    Spicy Karaage (~$11)

Ordered: Spicy Karaage (~$11): fried chicken in a chef's special spicy sauce with dried chili, sesame, and cilantro Triple Chicken Yuzu Ramen (~$17): chicken paitan broth with dashi salt and yuzu, yuzu pepper chicken chashu, marinated egg, bamboo shoots, sliced lemon, black pepper, scallions and ichimi pepper Miso Beef Ramen (~$17): chicken and miso broth with sliced beef, marinated egg, scallions, naruto, corn, bamboo shoots, garlic paste, sesame seeds, butter, and chili oil Aya's take: I'm rarely in FiDi but found myself at Kuu after an event in the area. This spot is a lot smaller & cozier than expected. They probably have enough seats for 15 people including bar seating where we sat. We started with Spicy Karaage which was actually spicy! Each piece of chicken was drenched in this spicy sauce which had actual dried chili. The flavor was fine but it was way too salty for my liking. The batter on the chicken also wasn't "karaage"-style but thicker & heavier like a typical fried boneless chicken. Of the 2 ramens, I loved the Miso Beef Ramen! It was sweet, savory, and comforting. Exactly what I wanted on a cold day! The marinated egg was perfect and the flavors all married together very well. The Triple Chicken Yuzu Ramen was a good try. The chicken chashu was thick, tender, and juicy and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I actually wasn't a big fan of the yuzu and lemon flavor here and wouldn't preferred a less citrus-forward taste but of course that's the whole point of this dish. I will say that I appreciate that Kuu has non-pork broths which is sometimes hard to find in other ramen spots! Good try!

Delicious! Small place and not the best for families with little kids who would need high chairs. We tried the Kuu Spicy Fried Chicken, Tonkotsu ramen, and pork katsu curry. Our favorite was the kuu spicy friend chicken....i would have gladly eaten that with rice for my meal lol Everything was delicious and service was quick and good :)

    Spicy pork ramen

Teeny tiny spot with two high top large tables that seat 8 and counter seating for maybe 8?? Anyway, the ramen here is pretty good. They have a few signature ramens. Interestingly enough, one of them is a riff on butter chicken. I didn't have it, but the people sitting next to us did and they said it was pretty good. I ended up having the spicy pork Ramen. There are two versions, one where the pork is crispy, and the other, where the pork is braised. Not too spicy to be unenjoyable. they have a bridge with a bunch of different Japanese sodas, juices, beers, basically all things drinks. I would come again.

Did not realize that the lunch specials that are priced $13.50have to be dine in, which is a bummer because I didn't have enough time to dine in since I got a lot of work. So anyone who wants to do lunch special got to sit in the restaurant. The entree for lunch specials is different every day with recommended add ons of gyoza and fried chicken appetizers for $3.50. Homemade drinks can also be added on for $2. So instead of the lunch special, I got the butter chicken ramen that costs $18 to go. It is an Indian fusion type of ramen, which consists of Tandoori chicken and naan chips. I thought they gave very little broth because the soup was not filled to the top. Also ramen was very little in my opinion. I quickly finished the whole ramen bowl. The chicken was pretty seasoned and good. There were lemon slices and hot red peppers, which I hardly see in ramen until I came across this style. Going to definitely check out their other flavors to see what they got going.

Good ramen for the area but average compare to the ramen in NYC. Would come again for a quick ramen fix but craves other shops.

No complaints, except that I guess I prefer Tonkostu (pork bone) over Paitan (chicken bone). I appreciated sitting at the bar to watch the lone ramen monger stir around the next batches of broth, hand-torching some chashu; boiling, whip-drying, and gently nestling my noodles, then manually laying out the toppings. The dish feels real, personal.

This spot delivers the kind of authentic paitan that reminds you why people used to line up on cold sidewalks just for a bowl. I ordered the Paitan Ramen Deluxe, and it genuinely lives up to the name. The broth is silky, rich, and comforting without being overly salty which is exactly what a proper paitan should be. The bowl comes loaded: tender shredded chicken, seared chashu, marinated soft-boiled eggs, fresh scallions, bamboo shoots, and a sheet of nori that ties everything together. Every topping tastes intentional, not just filler. The texture balance is what really stands out fatty chashu that melts, shredded chicken with real flavor, and noodles that hold up beautifully in the broth. You can taste the care in the soup base; it has depth, not just heat or salt. If you loved Totto Ramen back in the day, this feels like its modern successor same spirit, new precision. Toribro isn't trying to reinvent ramen which they're just doing it right. And in NYC, that alone makes it worth a visit.
