This location is not the most convenient for me but since I had a coupon and needed my state inspection done I decided to go there. I was a little surprised at how long a simple inspection and emissions test was taking and then realized they were checking everything they usually do when I have it serviced. A little unusual but it never hurts to be thorough. They called me outside to go over everything and I was told my breaks were at 30% and needed to be replaced. Also my transmission fluid looked bad and needed a flush. He even put some on his finger which looked dark and kind of gritty. This had me worried because I just had a transmission maintenance done a few months ago. My first thought was "those jerks at the other place didn't do what I paid for!" I decided I needed to have words with them first and then research brake info before spending more money. I was so grateful they inspected all of it for me! So on Monday I go back to my usual place under the guise of "I was told this by another place, what do you recommend I have done and what's your price". I never indicated to them that I'd already had it done by them. He looks at the fluid and I watched him pull out the dipstick this time and it was clearly a different color. Not at all what I was shown during the inspection. He explained everything in great detail and told me I didn't need anything done at this time (still not knowing I was a previous customer of theirs and they were not busy). He also checked my breaks and said they don't recommend changing the pads until they are at 20-25% or I have other warning signs which he explained. He even asked me other questions about my vehicle and surmised that I could possibly make it another 25,000 miles on what I have given how I drive. I will never go to a different place just because I have a coupon. It scares me to think how much more I could have spent last weekend on repairs that aren't needed. Ps. Manager Justin was aggressive demeaning and unnecessary rude. Maybe because I am a women he felt entitled to push me around, but his behavior was unacceptable. Found them because of Groupon and mentioned the voucher first. Didn't have an issue, guy said don't buy Groupon as they were having issues with it, and would match price. So I agreed and sat down and waited. Upon payment I was priced the contrary. When trying to explain price agreement before, manager Justin came in obviously upset saying quote "you will pay me what l tell you to pay me!" When I asked if he could bring the person that quoted me this price he said quote "I don't want to bother him." I was left in shock and confused! He also used words quote "buy the freaking thing than"! In a very loud and demeaning manor. This was my 1st time coming here because of the Groupon deal. All I was gettinnIt was a very uncomfortable experience . All I was getting was an oil change. From the moment I walked in until the moment I walked out the manager was constantly yelling at all of his employees. He was even rude and very blunt with the customers as well. One lady who said she had been going there for years got so upset that she left without her repairs being completed. She had told them she only needed front brakes however they had taken all of her tires off and was ready to complete brakes on all sides. She made them put all the tires back on her car and she left after the manager got an attitude with her. Everyone in the lobby heard her say front brakes only. My oil change was taking longer than expected so I looked out the window at my car and the guy was having a very hard time putting the rubber piece back on the bottom of my car after he had change my oil. So I told the manager it looks like he's having some trouble and may need some help. He told me nope he does not need any help! That is my brother he knows what he is doing and I made him put the car back inside because he didn't do it correctly in the first place. I said what didn't he do correctly? The manager looked at me with an extreme attitude and rolled his eyes and said to me as though I was stupid Aamir he didn't put the rubber piece back on correctly. So I ignored the attitude part and I just said oh OK. Then I saw the service guy getting ready to drive my car out immediately after I told the manager "so just like I was trying to explain to you before, he did not put the rubber piece back on all the way. So then he starts yelling in saying bring the car back bring the car back! It takes them a whole Nother 15 minutes just to put the bottom of my car back on so I can leave which was ridiculous! Then when I was getting ready to leave the manager tried to tell me "hey you may need to get an alignment soon bec.... " I cut him off really quick before he could complete his sentence. I said no sir I do not need anything I just bought this car two months ago from Carmax. and it was fully inspected and repairs would have been done prior to selling! ( of course he would not have known it's a new car because I already had my permanent plates by now) This place is a joke with that manager running the shop. The poor little girl that worked at the front desk was just getting screamed at and yelled at for no reason. He was even saying cuss words he repeatedly said the F word in front of all of the customers I even heard him say the S word once. This level of unprofessionalism really needs to be fixed. I absolutely love this place! They will wash your windows and vacuum out your car at no additional cost. They always check the levels on your windshield fluid, brake, and power steering fluid. You name it.. they check it! They are really looking out for their customers. I do not get my oil changed at any other place. read more

Considering my strict flight schedule, Colton was more than willing to work around a time frame that would most benefit me. I've never been to a shop that was so fast and did the job right. Update: After taking my car back for the 2nd time it was finally fixed. The GM was standing there when I was telling the tech the problem with the car. He looked at me and said "Don't look at me I didn't do it." I'm sorry but as the leader of the building at that time it is his responsibility to make it right. Have to say he was like working with a high schooler. I took my car in on a Friday afternoon for a normal oil change. It bothered me when the technician came to tell every single person in the waiting room that something was wrong with their vehicles. That was their lead into the sell to a service. Friday evening the oil pan guard started dragging. I went early Saturday morning to make them fix the mistake. Beware... I took my car in for a simple inspection and by the time I left, the guy who did *part* of the inspection tried to upsell me on new brake pads I didn't need and my hazard lights button was broken. When I arrived, I gave my key to a gentleman who appeared to be a manager, asking to have my car inspected. Mind you, I'd just had my car in for service at my normal repair shop the previous week, but the inspection had slipped my mind, so I figured I could just bring it in for a quick inspection and be on my way. He gave the key over to another gentleman who I assumed would be completing the inspection. I had been waiting an unusual amount of time for them to finish my inspection (around 20 minutes--they were not very busy, only two other cars were being serviced and they were not short-staffed, and previous inspections I'd had on my car took around 10-15 minutes), when I noticed an interchange between the second gentleman and the manager. That's when the manager took over and 'finished' the inspection. It took another 5-10 minutes and then he called me over to look at the car with him. He pointed out that my rear brake pads were worn and pointed out the difference between them and the front ones. Clearly, he was trying to take me for a ride. He said he could have them done within an hour. I smiled and said no, that I will let the repair shop I usually take it to have a look. He got offended and said, "I'm not sure why you're laughing, we can do it for you." I was taken aback and told him I wasn't laughing and that I just prefer to have my car serviced by my repair shop. He turned away and said that he was almost done and to wait in the waiting area. I waited another few minutes, paid for the inspection, then took my car and left. The next day, I was in traffic and trying to merge onto the highway. A person graciously let me in front of him/her, and I reached for my hazards button to say 'thank you.' That's when I noticed my hazards button had been pushed so hard that it had broken and sunk all the way into the dashboard. I had used it the previous day for the same purpose before taking it in for the inspection and it worked just fine. I exited immediately, pulled into a parking lot, and called the Kwik Kar location. The manager on duty told me the people who had worked on my car were not working that day and to please come by the next day when they were working and they'd have a look at it. My boyfriend and I came back the next day, and oddly enough, the first gentleman who had worked on my car had *just* left, so he could not account for what had happened to my car. The manager on duty said they would have a look at the security video they had and would give me a call the next day to let me know what they saw. That was a week ago and I've gotten no call. I should not have to chase these people down to have them own up to something they did to my car that I will now have to have fixed. Lesson learned to not take my car to just any place!!! I do not appreciate the neglectful customer service nor the unnecessary upsell for brake pads. Other reviews indicate this is not always the case, but unfortunately for me, my experience was a terrible one. Decide for yourself! read more

Took my car there for a repair. I already had the problem diagnosed but Kwik Kar said they wouldn't work on the car unless THEY diagnosed the problem (Cost: $129.00 to have it diagnosed AGAIN)! YES, I should have left but, I had errands to run, appointments to keep, and a job to get to, so I let them fix it. FYI: I found out most O'Reillys and AutoZones diagnose your car's problems for FREE! So why does Kwik Kar charge $129.00 to diagnose a problem for $129.00? Then also charge for the repair? Dropped off my truck for an alignment at 11 am, didn't get a call until 5:15, for them to say the tie rod ends are seized and you need new ones, I'm a technician myself but work too far to do the work at my shop in McKinney, so naturally I did the best I could in my garage without the alignment rack, I turned the tie rod ends by hand before bringing the vehicle to the shop, I asked him how about the camber and caster, he states "they're fine" when I arrive to the shop I asked for a print out and the individual says "couldn't print it because the alignment couldn't be done" I said funny because you can print the spec sheet at any time I just wanted to see the camber and caster and he said "I couldn't print it because I didn't adjust anything" long story short don't go here because they will lie through their teeth read more

Came in with a $32 oil change groupon. Turns out i needed to buy the $45 one. The worker notified me of that and i agreed to pay the difference and then when it was time to pay they tried to charge me $40. When i expressed concern about having to pay $40 when the difference was only $13 he magically knocked it down to $19 without saying anything or admitting fault. I'm a young female and felt they tried to take advantage of me. I definitely will not come back here read more

I've had my oil changed here four times at the Trinity Blvd. location and twice before at another Kwik Kar location in uptown Dallas. Both locations are consistently wonderful. The mechanics at the Euless location are friendly, polite, and work quickly and cleanly. The waiting area is clean and quiet. They don't try to upsell you on things you don't need and instead of trying to trick you into buying things like air filters the way other oil change places do, they'll actually tell you when it's ok and that you can wait until the next change or two to replace a filter. I feel so comfortable taking my car here for oil changes and if I needed something else done they'd be the first place I'd take my car. Whatever they're doing to attract great employees, they should keep doing it. read more

Update from my last post. I had a reputable shop inspect the differential on my truck after I serviced it to full and intalled a new plug. Luckly no damage noted. Compleated a 3k round trip drive to and from Virginia Beach last week, and had it checked again. Once again no issues found. Mo and Kwik Kar never responded to the Better Business Bureau complaint that I filled. Never honored their 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty. Just accusations from Kwik Kar employees that I had sabotaged my own truck to get the differential rebuilt for free, and that they could not have done anything wrong. Except that if they had left the plug loose, I should have noticed right after they worked on it. So beware of this establishment, they take no resposibility for their work, they do not honor their written warranty, and they want you to be the quality control for everything they did. read more

My truck is a 2010 Dodge Ram Laramie with a 5.7 Hemi w/144,000 miles. Last Saturday I got my oil changed at Kwik Kar Euless on Trinity Blvd. I requested full synthetic. My receipt says that they put in Valvoline Synthetic. The receipt doesn't say the viscosity. On my 25 mile drive home my check engine light came on. I checked the oil, and the level was over full. When I got to work on Monday, where my scan tool is, I checked the code. It was for low oil pressure. I had my company mechanic change the oil pressure sensor to see if that could be the problem. Cleared the code and headed home. Check engine light came back on. Cleared the code at the house but it came back on driving to work the next day. I asked our mechanic to look at the oil. He said seemed very thin to him, so I asked him to change it. With the 5-day old oil in the drain pan I dipped my finger in it and it was barely thicker than water. So thin that my engine couldn't create enough oil pressure to satisfy the computer. Kwik Kar also put the wrong filter on. It was noticeably smaller than the filter my mechanic bought at the parts store. Proof that what I'm saying is accurate is that with the proper oil and filter there are no more codes. I'm hoping their oil didn't cause any damage. They ripped me off and I suspect I'm not alone. read more

When I got there they were able to get right to me , I just came here for an oil change.The whole staff were honest and attentive, while recommending a power steering flush that I might need to have done soon, I didn't feel any pressure or feel like I was being swindled to get more work on my 4-Runner with 240,000 miles. I have been coming to this location for more years than I can count. Even when I moved near downtown Fort Worth and now Carrollton, I would still drive to this location because of the excellent service. No longer. 2 Saturday's ago, at 8:15 am, we brought my daughter's car in as the back end was shaking and vibrating. We told them we would leave the car there and were assured we'd have it back by the end of the day as my daughter had to work that evening. We proceeded to the zoo with my grandson and were assured we would be called once it was determined what was wrong and what repairs were needed. A few hours went by and we heard nothing back. We called about 10 am and were told they still hadn't been able to look at the car. Waited till about noon and called back again and were told he (John) was working on 3 other cars and hers at the same time and he was trying to get to it to determine what was wrong. About 2pm we called back again and when we complained why we still didn't know what was wrong with the car were told that he wished he had the time to just work on once car, but he didn't have that luxury. Never mind the fact that we brought the car in right after opening, so why was he working on cars that came in after ours instead of figuring out what was wrong with hers. We were told the other cars he was working on he'd been working on for THREE DAYS. Now if this is true and I highly doubt it is, why were we not told when we got there at 8:15 am that there were 3 other cars ahead of hers and he'd have to work hers in. If we had been, I'd have taken it somewhere else since she needed the car to work that night. We called back at 5 pm (mind you still no call from them at all on what was wrong), and we were told that she had a broken strut and that he FORGOT to call as he got busy with other cars! Obviously since they closed at 6 pm we would not be able to get the car back that day and again she had to work that evening. Then he asked for payment UP FRONT before the work would even be done. Never in my life have I ever had a car worked on and been asked to pay up front. Something about the "new owners" requiring that because they have to buy the parts and sometimes customers don't return. Never mind the fact that we were going to leave it there and pick it up on Monday when he said it would be ready (sure). Well NEW OWNERS, I thought, now that explains it all. I was not aware they had new owners and that explained why we had such unprofessional service this go around. When I complained about having to provide payment up front, he said why don't you just bring the car back on Monday and I'll do the work on the side and won't even charge you through the shop (maybe this is why John is working on 3 and 4 cars at the same time - note to new owners!). That was the last straw. We picked the car up, thankfully was not asked to pay anything for the entire day they had it, or I would have lost my mind. We brought the car the following Monday to a Firestone, and had the car back within 4 hours and no it was not even a broken strut, but something else entirely. I would never use this location again. In front of the shop , a big sign tells "State Inspection $30.00, No pass No Pay".After inspection is done, what you pay is not $30.00 .They will ask you to pay$39.50.That's how they cheated me today. I brought my red sienna 2006 for inspect, I got cheated in this place. Took my car in for the first time. Reasonable service. When I got home, an hour later when outside and noticed a small puddle of oil. So I returned to them and the first thing the tech said that it must be from the exhaust. I told him it looked like oil. So they took it in and 45 minutes later they told me nothing about what happened, said they replaced the oil filter. It still leaks maybe a drop every 6-7 hours. Will take it into a professional car repair shop and never use this company again. read more
