If I could give Kyma a thousand positive reviews, I absolutely would. From the moment we sat down, everything about our experience was incredible. The staff genuinely cares about your dining experience and goes above and beyond to make every moment special. They don't just serve great food, they create an atmosphere that makes celebrations feel truly memorable. We were celebrating my birthday, and the level of hospitality was next level. The general manager, Steve, personally came over and moved us inside to a better table because he knew it was a special occasion and wanted us to enjoy the best atmosphere possible. That kind of attention and thoughtfulness is rare and made the night even more meaningful. The entire restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, the food was outstanding, and the drinks were just as impressive. Every detail, from the service to the ambiance was flawless. More than six weeks ago after eating at Kyma downstairs I made a reservation to eat at Kyma Sushi on the rooftop. My reservation was confirmed by OpenTable and reconfirmed today. When we got there, there was nothing but loud, loud, deafening noise on the rooftop and we were told they no longer serve sushi They could not accommodate us even downstairs in the Greek restaurant idespite our reservation at their now nonexistent rooftop restaurant. This was my third time coming to Kyma. It was for my birthday and the manager Steve was gracious enough to book a reservation for me. It is a great time, unfortunately it seems like they prioritize partying over dinner service. I got there at 8pm, ordered food at 9pm and wasn't served dinner until 10:30. Mind you, it took about an hour to get our food. As well as the fact that in ordered two dishes of Pita and hummus and IT NEVER CAME. We had a server check what time we put food in. On top of that our drinks were so mixed up. I asked for an espresso martini WITH baileys, and they brought me one without any. I told the server that my drink didn't have baileys, and she tried to correct me telling me there was baileys in it, when the drink was as dark as night. I'm so disappointed that I chose to celebrate my birthday at a place I thought would be enjoyable, but instead turned out to be hot, muggy, with horrible service (with an attitude) and overall a terrible experience. I understand restaurants can get busy, but from first hand experience don't offer or hire services you can't keep up with and that's coming from someone who has worked in a restaurant busier than Kyma. (Edit: by the end of it all we had probably spent in total about $1,000. My boyfriend brought a cake for them to bring out, but by the time dessert rolled around it was already almost 11, and I just needed up leaving before they even brought out the cake. ) read more

What a huge disappointment. Staff not that friendly other than the hostess and manager. Service was beyond terrible. If you ask for something be prepared to ask for it 3x...simple things like water. Food not bad but way overpriced. Swordfish kebab is one of their staples - one skewer with 6 small cubes is $44 The restaurant itself is very nice and very well done. Too bad this is not the Kyma that I love in NYC. read more

We were excited to try Kyma. We had an early (6:30) reservation and were seated immediately, though it appeared to take 4 hostesses putting their heads together to figure out where to seat us. The fresh pita and fava bean dip were outstanding, but unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. The service was horrendously slow; I don't know if this is an issue with the kitchen or the waitress - but it was awful and the waitress was very inattentive. If the food had been good, at least it would have been worth waiting for, but one dish was worse than the next. The appetizers - souvlaki, spanikopita, fried calamari - were mediocre, at best. The entrees were barely edible -- we truly almost gagged on some of the dishes (the roasted chicken, salmon, lemon potatoes, broccoli rabe). If I had had a paper napkin, I honestly would have spit out the broccoli rabe and lemon potatoes. My mother did spit out the salmon because it was so fishy and the chicken was hard to swallow. All in all it was a terrible experience and meal. Would never recommend. The only positive thing I can say is that the decor is nice but the restaurant is very loud - hard to have a conversation. read more

Wonderful service, vibe and food! Just ate for the 1st time at the new Kyma WPB and found it to be just great. The vibe is fun loud and energetic, and the food is just delicious. Hats off to the service! Our server Meghan was outstanding and the whole staff was incredibly attentive and charming. The menu is a greek, and tends to be a bit pricey, and the noise level is a bit unbearable, but otherwise a great take. read more

Dined at KYMA in the Avli open-air courtyard - warm Mediterranean atmosphere, authentic Greek design, and excellent service, especially from our waiter Adam. The Mini Moussaka, Fresh Local Snapper, and Lobster Pasta were beautifully prepared and full of flavor. A perfect place for any occasion. Highly recommended! read more

The ambiance at this restaurant is amazing. The outdoor patio is absolutely beautiful and well decorated, also not too loud. We approached this restaurant for a quick drink and it was a little disappointing. For the cost of the drinks, we expected high elegance, or at least bold flavors. The menu did a great job of making the drinks sound good, but they were relatively basic when we received them. For $20 per drink, I expect at least a mint garnish. read more

I tried Kyma last week with my friend. I ordered the octopus and halfway through I bit down on a small piece of metal brush they use to clean the grill which chipped my back molar. I wasn't sure what happened since it missed my nerve and felt like I had food stuck in my tooth. Went to the dentist this morning and a corner of my tooth was missing. If someone swallowed that it would be very dangerous. Beware of the grilled items. read more

The people that greet you were very nice. Got a glimpse of the rooftop that was nice. However, the dishes that my companion I had were disappointing. I had the Bronzino and he had the pink snapper and both of them had bones in them so you had to be careful when eating. Mentioned this to the waiter, who said it must've been filleted wrong and that he would go speak to someone, but never came back with any response. And my Bronzino didn't have any flavor. I had to to squeeze two large lemons and add salt to give it taste. Also, we had the octopus which was overcooked and lacked flavor. Perhaps the other dishes are much better. read more

The miserable experience of lousy service was only exceeded by the realization that the painfully inept service was to be "rewarded" with the most horrible, inedible food. Worst dining experience in years. Shameful in every aspect - except for the decor which is lovely. From the hostess to food and ambiance, everything was amazing! Every single one from the staff was so kind, friendly and helpful! The food was excellent. If you ever visit Kyma, you have to try the Kyma zucchini chips, grilled octopus, fillet mignon and Lavraki! Don't forget to try any of the unique Greek wines they have! BEWARE IF YOU VALET PARK that the parking rate jumps from $15 for two hours to $35. When I valet my car I asked how much the valet cost and I was told $15 (I was fine with that price). They never told me that the price INCREASES after two hours. $35 for parking is absolutely ridiculous (it's more than Philly and NYC). If you drive to Kyma park in a parking garage. Leaving Kyma and finding out you have to pay $35 for parking ruined my night at Kyma. All of the restaurants in PB have free parking, why doesn't Kyma? I will not be going back due to being ripped off with valet parking. The food is good but they have to work out the kinks such as the lighting is too bright (bar area) and they do not have hooks under the bar for pocketbooks. The bathroom door was broken and the bathroom was very dirty. I would have loved to give Kyma 5 stars but the valet parking is overlypriced for WPB. read more

Seated at 8:05 pm for a 7:30 pm reservation. Finally accepted a table in the bar area rather than wait for one in the dining room (where we reserved). Two starters served 20 minutes apart. We canceled our main courses at 9:25 pm because they still hadn't been served. Took another 15 minutes to get the check while being subjected to meaningless apologies from the server and manager. Unfortunately our dinner at Kyma West Palm Beach was extremely disappointing, even though the food itself was decent. The evening started off badly when the hostess escorted my wife to a table in a totally empty room off to the rear of the restaurant while there were clearly available tables in the more active and attractive front room and bar area. Once seated at another table, we were greeted by a totally disinterested waiter who remained distracted during the entire meal. After disliking the wine that he brought a taste of, I asked for the Chardonnay below it on the menu. When the check came, I was charged for the far more expensive Chardonnay at the bottom of the list. When two people ordered the lavraki, the waiter informed us that the price listed on the menu was wrong. I've never had such an amateurish experience at a high end restaurant. Print new menus! As an alternative, the waiter suggested we order a lavraki for two, which was less than twice the "new" price. We followed his suggestion, but he failed to tell us that the fish was accompanied by a potato and a vegetable side dish, so I separately ordered fries (which, by the way, arrived cold and had to be reheated). We had way too many potatoes! The larger fish arrived on a big platter which was simply left on the table. We had to ask for serving utensils or if anyone could serve it on each person's plate. A different staff member arrived with two spatulas and proceeded to butcher the fish, breaking up the filets into smaller pieces and dumping them on our dinner plates. Apparently the wait staff was not properly trained on how to serve fish or apologize for the result. read more

The vibe was outdoor elegant, I thought it would be inside dining. Party of 3 seated on booth, I feel it was difficult to hear because the table was wide. The food was ok, it wasnt wow. The dessert list is a little disappointing, baklava was dry. I will go again maybe for drinks but definitely not for food. read more

Brand new place, expensive, wine pour is horrible. Got appetizer calamari which they grilled for us, very good but very small portion for the price. Wanted snapper but they already ran out. Got ceviche appetizer in stead... consisted mostly of jarred pickled herring, the jar you get at grocery store... I love pickled herring but not in a very expensive ceviche... wanted baclava desert to go... but they ran out as well..so 2 apps, 2 glasses of wine each for about $100...bottom line, wouldn't go there again soon.
