    Awesome staff!!!

An extraordinary night at Kyma My big Greek family came in indecisive and all over the place on where to sit -- and the staff handled it with patience, thank you! Not once did we feel like a problem. We were treated like real guests from the start. The food was INCREDIBLE -- not a single miss. Every plate came out better than the last. They even went out of their way to put the WORLD CUP on for us in the dining room -- small thing, matter! The whole experience: the FOOD , the STAFF , the AMBIANCE , and the VENUE itself . It's rare a place gets everything right. You can pick your vibe -- quiet intimate corners, high-energy bar energy, beautiful indoor dining, or rooftop/outdoor seating. Whatever night you're having, it fits. Huge thank you to our server and the management team for taking care of us the way you did -- we won't forget you! We left full, happy, and drunk -- looking forward to coming back!

I was invited here for a MRI company marketing event. I parked in the banyan garage close by. Upon arrival the hostess walked us to the elevator to get to the rooftop where our event and another one was taking place. Amazing views of the city. The tuna tacos were delicious and the lychee martini was refreshing strong. The lobster roll was delightful and watermelon shots were a healthy libation. I would definitely come back here for the vibe.

Beautiful restaurant but the food was a disappointment. My "medium" steak was practically well done and not at all tender. The pita was good and the dips adequate but nothing I can't get at the middle eastern bakery down the street. Fish was ok but not something I would specifically go back for. Also a very tiny portion of fish.

Great food, but unprofessional management. Regardless of my poor experience in the beginning, the food was very good. The Octopus and the Lobster Pasta were both fantastic. The Lobster Pasta had a great amount of lobster unlike many other restaurants.

Kyma in West Palm Beach was absolutely incredible. The outdoor dining atmosphere is one of the best in the area -- beautiful, lively, and perfectly designed for a great night out. The space feels elegant but relaxed, with a gorgeous open-air setting that makes the whole experience special. The food was outstanding. The octopus was easily the best I've ever had -- perfectly grilled, tender, and packed with flavor. The halloumi was unbelievable as well, crispy on the outside with that amazing salty, creamy texture inside. Every dish we ordered was fresh, vibrant, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Incredible service too. Between the amazing food, beautiful presentation, and the stunning outdoor ambiance, Kyma delivers a top-tier dining experience. If you're in West Palm Beach, this place is a must. We will definitely be back.

Had a great experience at kyma . Had been to the one in roslyn, New York . The food was delicious. Great ambience. Rooftop bar was closed because it was too cold unfortunately but the main restaurant was just as nice . It was a weekend so they have a DJ and do the sparklers. Great vibe ! Avgolemono soup what's the best I've ever had other than in Greece . The shrimp Santorini was also delicious. They leave the shrimp pad on for more flavor. The sauce had a brandy taste to it on the orzo. Would definitely order that again. Lemon potatoes were also delicious. They give you free pita and hummus to start the meal, which was a nice touch. Drinks were on point and great service

Luckily for us the weather was amazing on this evening and we were able to be comfortable on their patio which is the only seating option available during the week. On weekends the rooftop opens but from what the staff told me, it's pretty limited in how many people are allowed and it's a first come first serve basis. The service didn't scream amazing but didn't really interfere with the dining experience which was not as I had expected. The menu was pretty limited and while we were able to pick an appetizer and entree I didn't leave screaming "oh my God, I love this place". The setting is clean and open air and could possibly be similar to dining in a part of Greece but I have had better Greek food at a plaza restaurant. I would love to visit again but more for the rooftop experience! How did you enjoy you experience at Kyma?

Kyma is at last in West Palm Beach! This NY Metro area transplant with two locations in Manhattan and one on Long Island's Gold Coast has finally arrived. Seafood and great time is the name of Kyma's game. They have what is the best rooftop in West Palm. Management and other staff are Meatpacking District veterans from Baumanche and Bagatelle fame, thus you know the rooftop parties will be epic. I had the pleasure of being the owner's guest at the friends and family soft opening. Typically, food and service tend to be off but not at Kyma. Everything ran like clockwork and the food was spectacular. Ryan (GM), Vanessa (never aging client experience coordinator) and front of house Jennifer made sure that guests felt like they were the most important people in the room. Food was spot on from classics to new renditions of age old staples. Sound system promises for crystal clear elation into the stratosphere and the DJ's belong on Mykonos, Ibiza and the Hamptons. I returned for a small party of 16 at the "parea" room and table. Fish, steak and chicken were on the menu as was their amazing Greek village salad, octopus and amazingly tasteful spread to accompany their pitas. Food aside, there are now a couple of great Greek restaurants in downtown West Palm Beach. The primary differences between Kyma and the other restaurant is that Kyma's vibe is young, boisterous and loads of fun with a price-point commensurate with the ultra quality of their food and service; whereas at the other one, don't show-up if your boxer shorts haven't been starched by your dry cleaner and nor rolling up in a jalopy to dine without your own personal fully loaded with 100s Brinks truck in tow.

We had a mixed experience at Kyma. The food was good, especially the branzino, and the space itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, the atmosphere shifted to a full club vibe much too early. With a 7:00 pm reservation, we were not expecting the lights to go down and the music to be turned up to the point where it was difficult to hear our table before 10:00 pm. Service was very slow. We were there for over three hours and had to track down our server just to pay the bill. Since valet is $15 for the first two hours and increases significantly after that, the slow pacing resulted in a $32 valet charge. They had also run out of the wine we were drinking and one of the sides we wanted to order, and one of our appetizers never came out. Kyma has a lot of potential, but better service pacing and a later transition to the club-style atmosphere would make a big difference.

There were 4 of us, and we shared all the dishes we ordered and all were different and excellent. We were given complementary pita bread with fava bean dip that was incredibly tasty. Kyma Chips Crispy Sliced Zucchini & Eggplant Tzatziki: unique dish, beautiful, so delicious Shrimp Skewers *GF Grilled Jumbo Shrimp Roasted Garlic, Ladolemono: 6 large shrimp on 2 skewers with a wonderful garlic/ lemon/ olive oil marinade Soutzoukakia Mediterranean Spiced Beef & Lamb Baked in Tomato Sauce: mediterranean meatballs. Tasty!! Almost all the dishes come with sliced lemons that you can squeeze over the dish to add zest. Roasted Beets *GF Mixed Greens, Manouri Cheese Orange, Walnuts: easily shareable between the 4 of us with orange & red beets, all the ingredients come together so well, the cheese is milder than feta. We all loved it. Lamb chops: four good size lamb chops that we ordered medium rare. We asked for extra tzatziki sauce on the side. Excellent. Wanted to order the Portokalopita, orange cake with carmalizef orange slices on top but we were just too full. Service: Outstanding service! Julianna was our server and she was great. Attentive but not overly so. She knew the menu well. There were several people helping bring the dishes we ordered, clear away dishes, filling our water glasses. Service is notably excellent. Ambiance- it's an indoor/outdoor restaurant. We had an early reservation so all the tables were open. We sat in the main dining room. Beautiful tasteful decorations. Perfect night to be in this setting. Nice music. Not too loud but a lively place!

Why I'll go back: delicious, but also approachable Greek food You HAVE to order: the Sunshine State Harvest cocktail Tony's Tip: the left side of the restaurant is more elegant Kyma is a nice addition to the Palm Beach area. We have plenty of places to do Greek/Mediterranean, but many are short on ambience (well, trendy ambience). Milos opened a year ago in West Palm, but that's also a whole show you gotta be up for. Kyma wedges its way into the gap, with an upscale and trendy, but less formal scene while still bringing a nice range of menu items. They've got all your favorites - Greek salad, Dolmades, zucchini chips, grilled octopus, plenty of fish - and lots more. Having only been open a couple of weeks, when we showed up just before 7:00 p.m. on a Wednesday the nicer dining area to the left was already full. We were seated to the right, at a table adjacent to the bar area. Fine, but just less elegant. Speaking of the bar, there were always at least a couple of seats available during the entire time we were there, and it appears first come, first served. It's bright and the counter is spacious, so I think having dinner there would be comfortable (see pics). Since Kyma is really more outside than inside, that helps keep noise levels comfortable. The music was cool but lingered in the background. An indoor dining area across the alleyway was set for dinner, but no one was eating there. It's elegant and good for overflow or on a cold/rainy evening. We opened with cocktails - my wife her usual margarita straight up, which she liked. I often go with a house concoction and discovered what might be my favorite drink in all of Palm Beach. Called Sunshine State Harves, it's rum-based, with some dry vermouth, frangelico, and a cinnamon-cardamon tincture/extract. Absolutely delicious, with a scent to match. I think I've been overlooking rum as a base liquor. Gonna have to correct that. ;) We ordered four items: the Greek salad, Kyma zucchini chips, Soutzoukakia (spiced beef and lamb meatballs in tomato sauce), and the free-range chicken (accompanied by a side of roasted lemon potatoes). We only got three of those, as the Greek salad got lost in the shuffle. But when the chicken arrived, we just told our server to cancel the salad, as we had plenty of food in front of us. The meatballs were tender and the sauce jazzed it up a bit. Zucchini chips were addicting - lightly breaded (vs. overly breaded and fried) and the tzatziki was far from bland and a nice complement. Probably the best version of this simple dish I've had in years. As for the chicken, it was a pretty simple preparation. Came with lemon, but we thought it was a bit dried out. Not to be overlooked was the side of lemony potatoes. They were quite saturated in oil and butter and maybe closer to mashed potatoes in texture vs. harder boiled potatoes. Loved them, and they're available as a side dish. A must add to your dinner. Should mention that our waiter first brought me someone else's glass of red wine before going back to the bar and swapping it for my cocktail. Along with the salad, those were two glitches that shouldn't really happen, but we're pretty easygoing with that stuff. I'll also say that the prices here are pretty steep. If memory serves, the zucchini chips were $26 and the Greek salad was also well into the $20's. A number of other items had prices that made me do a double-take. Hey - it's a free market economy, so restaurants charge what they can. Just noting the premium prices given the "typical" Greek place is more affordable. We definitely thought Kyma was good and we'll be back, maybe when we've got something else going on downtown. We're also curious about the rooftop and hoping that opens to the public (and not just private events) at some point. tbh, I might just go out of my way to hit the bar for the Harvest cocktail again. Ugh - I'm craving it already...

They have some small two top tables inside and a couple high tops outside. They had a board with lunch specials on it. But we wound up ordering from their regular menu. I got the moussaka and he got pasticchio. Both dishes came with a very generously sized Greek salad and warm pita wedges to start. The salads had tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, onions, pepperoncinis, and romaine lettuce topped with feta cheese and dressing. There was also a small rice stuffed grape leaf -- cut in half. The salad could have been a meal in itself. The moussaka was layered egg plant and potatoes with a ground beef filling topped with cinnamon béchamel sauce. The pasticchio is the Greek version of lasagna but with elbow macaroni. Both portions were quite filling. I ate my dish and he brought half of his home. He was saving room for dessert. For dessert, he had galaktoboureko which is a custard filled pastry topped with simple syrup. He said it was good, but it would have been better if warmed. Or at least if the syrup was warm. We had very good service. If you like Greek food and are in the area, this is a good place to try. Large portions at reasonable prices.

I usually ate here at least twice a month or more for six years. And brought guests constantly . The food was always well prepared and at a reasonable price. The owner was always very friendly. BUT I will never again go back to Sofra after my experience last night. Last night I went with a couple of people that I had raved about this restaurant to. The owner, who certainly must've recognized me from the countless times I've eaten there in five years, barely grunted at me and the vibes I got from him were not very welcoming. He seemed really angry about something and was taking it out on his customers. There was only one other table that had customers and this was a Friday night. I found that really odd because other restaurants surrounding Sofra had lots of people sitting outside eating at their restaurants I ordered a falafel plate and others at our table ordered the İskender and another entrée. I practically passed out when I got the bill because I guess I didn't check the prices when I was ordering. The falafel plate, which was basically a spoonful of salad, a spoonful of rice, a few hard burned falafel, soup and a dribbling of tahini was $33. This is obscene. When this restaurant first opened they were charging for the same plate $15 and then they went to $25 after a few years which I thought was pretty high for the food we were getting but $33 is just plain greedy. I won't even do a review on the other two entrées because my party could barely eat them. I now see why there was nobody, literally nobody in this restaurant on a Friday night. And the owner, what happened to him? he used to be such a friendly guy and now he is just an angry man. The waitress never went back to check on us and refill our water after taking our order. Despite only two tables with customers in this restaurant. I read some of the reviews where owner says he hates the fucking country so why doesn't he just leave? There's plenty of really good Mediterranean restaurants that are not going to charge this kind of money for Mediterranean food. Even if the felafel was the best falafel I've ever eaten in my entire life - $33 is crazy. And it was not very good felafel - in fact all the food is mediocre. Where it once was amazing. So my suggestion to the owner is to lower his prices, improve the quality of his food and improve his attitude
