They're going to have wellness classes, and they have a neat little lounge area inside to relax and read some books, or play some board/card games with friends. They make everything to order from scratch using farm fresh fruits and veggies! They have a community garden out front, so if you take something, leave something. The new owners are amazing and really care about the environment and providing sustainable healthy fresh foods. I tried the guanabana and blood orange agua fresca, and it was as the best I've ever had, so light and freshing without all the fake sugar I'm used to from other places. I also tried the chicken and beef empanadas and they came with this amazing sauce, and almost melted in my mouth. Def go check them out. They're going to be a great addition for the community! I was a huge Mantra Coffee fan. Went by tonight and it was pretty quiet but the service was on point. We were given the run down of our options and the variety of flavors, floats, snacks, and coffees. They have the coffee offerings of Mantra (which I miss terribly) and breakfast burrito. They've added some other snacks too like nachos. My wife went with the Mandarin soda float and I got a cereal milk milkshake. It was so good. They make their whip cream fresh which is a huge plus to me. I love the selection of snacks is awesome. Some international snacks that I usually see in the Asian markets. They also have some cute merch that gives retro vibes including T shirts, hats, and stickers. Cute spot to stop by for a quick snack. Loved the great, friendly customer service. We were asking a lot of questions about the flavored drinks & they happily answered. Very bad experience today with the food! Not sure what happened in the past 30 days. I went for the first time in October and tried the chicken and beef empanadas and they were great! Juicy, tasty, and just right. Fast-forward to today, went back with my wife and kid, and they were truly disappointing! We got 3 empanadas, 1 beef and 2 chicken. All 3 were extremely dry and burnt... For 6 bucks a pop, you'd expect a much higher and consistent quality... Can't not recommend it like this! read more

This neighborhood gem located near 210 freeway. I went there and got the Affogato, I could tell you that the coffee was amazing. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures but they have drive through so you don't even have to get out of your vehicle, which is very convenient. The staff was extremely hospitable and that is more than enough. Since the place was recently open, there wasn't much snack when I went there. I'm hopeful that the snack they have in the store will grow in the future. For the mean time, the coffee is too die for! I'm definitely going back! read more

Ordered a dozen and half empanadas and they were chefs kiss! From the eggplant, spinach, corn, beef, chicken and even Nutella.. they have so many yummy options! These empanadas were a hit at my event with a wide range of kids and adults enjoying them! My favorite is the beef! It was my first time here since they opened, and I'm not sure why I delayed so much. First off, it's such a cute and beautiful place stocked up with goods in a pantry you can get in a wink. Given, today they were out of many things as a result of their generous efforts to assist families who were dealing with hardships as a result of the palisades fire, so to find out that this was the reason they didn't have their usual arsenal of goods was not only commendable in my opinion, but was a reflection of the generous character of the owner. He recommended their signature mushroom drink with honey, which was absolutely delicious. The banana bread? I'll be coming back for the immediately. I strongly suggest coming to this place, if you're looking for great coffee at an excellent price point, curated by an owner who clearly has a passion in his non profit, his work and his business. read more

Well, the service was good. I ordered the turkey empanada and I did not like it at all. I even got a little queasy from it. So I am truly giving that a thumbs down for me and I don't think the empanada dough was cooked all the way through neither it was definitely shaped well, but I don't think it was cooked well that part right there !! I wish that I had took a picture of it because that was our first time going. I took it home and that's when I made my decision on how the food was. because we live right down the street from this new place that they open and I thought that we would try it and see what they were working with and that's what I ordered was that and when I got home, I trust and believe I got queasy I just don't think it was cooked long enough just my opinion. read more

Passed by and we decided to give it a try! The place is super cute and clean. Very photogenic indeed. I love their mission and they are very ambitious to add some healthy options within the area, unfortunately they are missing the mark. We purchased about a dozen empanadas to try them out. I was immediately taken back by the price for half a dozen it was $30. considering their size it will not make a meal, each person will need about 2-3 which can equal to $18 per person. Once we got home we tried them, the chicken was the best but all were somewhat dry. I think we had a turkey one which had thick dough slightly undercooked. they are a new business and we hope with the reviews and other feedback they can make some adjustments. I will try them out again in the future but just to order 1-2 at a time. I would definitely recommend reevaluating their pricing and quality of dough. read more

Cute location. We all waited for this to open but so so disappointed I just dont understand this being a drive through coffee house yes they don't open until 1pm? Plus you have to place your order online THEN pick up the coffee in the drive through. Whats the point? We had a melon strawberry float and SO CALLED Nachos. WAYYYY overpriced. $7 ??? Just like the other Yelpers said 7/11 would be better. 7/11 and Movie theaters offer more cheese. I wish I took a pic. I was so mad I gave mine to a coworker. I could have bought the ingredients and made 10 for the price of one. This place must do better. I won't go back until they get it together. read more

Tried this place under new ownership and was blown away by the different options and delicious empanadas. The workers are amazing. Love the healthier options and bodega feel they are transitioning too. Prices are a tad high however in this economy it's understandable and other local empanada joints are just as pricey so it's nothing surprising. Hope they keep up the good food and service.
