Located in the food court at the Grand Canal Shoppes inside The Venetian, LA Brisket offers a solid lineup of smoked meat bowls and sandwiches, along with classic sides like waffle fries, mac salad, and potato salad. This was my first visit, and based on a friend's recommendation, I went with the Brisket Bowl. While they do offer free samples, I didn't try any this time. Being in a food court, my expectations were admittedly low - but LA Brisket completely exceeded them! The brisket was tender, juicy, well-seasoned, and generously portioned, and the pricing felt very reasonable given both the portion size and its Strip location. Who knew quality brisket could be found in a food court, of all places?! One thing to note: garlic rice is the only rice option available, as they don't offer plain white rice. The rice is flavored with garlic butter rather than actual pieces of garlic, making it less pungent than a traditional garlic rice dish. Although the garlic rice was decent for what it is, unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of strongly flavored garlic dishes in general - but the overall experience more than made up for it. The employees were friendly and helpful, and the quality of the meat genuinely impressed me. This spot is a true hidden gem inside The Venetian, and I'd gladly return, though I do wish they had a plain white rice option. read more

L.A. Brisket is located at The Venetian Food Court. There's ample seating. Menu offers a nice selection of sandwiches, rice bowls, smoked meat by the pound with choice of pork, brisket, or chicken, sides like waffle fries and baked beans, and build your own. There was free sample to try brisket. Instead I tried a side sample of potato salad and elote, both are good! I also tried Mac salad, the elbow pasta seems a little hard, undercooked, and sour. I ordered light and chose sides for Elote ($6) and Potato Salad ($4). Potato salad is good and tasty! It has a slight crunch but still soft. Elote is delicious! This place is a great option while staying at the Venetian Resort. If you have a high protein meal intake plan, this is definitely the place that you want to come while visiting Venetian or Palazzo resort. They are located in the actual food court of the Venetian. It's not in the Canal Shops, but in the actual food court. I walked up in two very nice ladies were working. I ordered the brisket because a customer was getting her order to go and she told me how delicious she and her husband feel about the brisket. They have options for à la carte or if you want to do a half pound of just meat. I opted for a half pound of meat, but for some reason when the lady rang me up, they charged me for two 1/2lb orders, which was fine. I also had a whole pound of brisket when I got back to my hotel room. The brisket is delicious and I really appreciated this location because it's $2.75 for a bottle of water, as opposed to the other places, throughout the resort, which are charging over $3 to $6 for a bottle of water. I also appreciated the great customer service of the women helping here. Overall, the brisket was delicious, tender, juicy, and very flavorful. I didn't even need to use the side of barbecue sauce. Also, the barbecue sauce here is just a little spicy for my taste. Overall great option for hotel food court brisket. read more

If you are in the area, definitely give it a chance! This felt like a hidden gem, given that it is in a food court (Grand Canal Shoppes in The Venetian) with ample shared seating. I ordered the Las Vegas bowl: - Brisket: Smokey, juicy, and tender while the fat was rendered, adding so much more flavor - Chicken: Fall-off-the bone tender, yet not mushy, and was well seasoned - Pork: Juicy: Good texture with a mild flavor, so it let the saices shine - Rice: There was a lot, but they poured what I believe was au jus over it, so I could not stop eating it I also ordered a side of Mac salad, but it had zero flavor. Wow! What a surprise this little place ended up being to my Mom and I who were doing circles around the Food Court at the Mall. We were hungry but did not have anything particular in mind - then, a lady working at LA Brisket called us over her way. She was equipped with 2 toothpicks- each containing a chunk of brisket for us to try out. To be honest, just walking by the place, I probably wouldn't stop.... I am picky about brisket. I have never had very good luck with a "fast food" type BBQ??? It's typically more of a "mystery meat" and after you've finished your meal, you often find yourself wondering what you actually just ate... However, I am so grateful that the sample was handed out to us, because this place had one of the best briskets I've had in quite some time!! We were both shocked & our search for the perfect lunch was OVER. We got brisket bowls. The meat was so fresh, flavorful, juicy, and not overly fatty. It was simply incredible. Their BBQ sauce & Tomatillo salsa were also delicious! I wish I would have asked for 2 containers of each sauce. Another great point is that their prices are low considering the quality of the meat. So you can have a wonderful high quality meal for the same price as a trip through some mediocre fast food burger joint. Next time we are in Vegas, I know the first place I'll be stopping for dinner! I truly wasn't expecting to find brisket this good in a food court! LA Brisket is a bit tucked away inside the Venetian, but it's absolutely worth seeking out. On both visits, the staff was incredibly friendly--each time offering me a sample of the brisket with a big smile. I'll admit I was skeptical at first, but one bite completely changed my mind. The brisket is insanely tender and juicy--easily some of the best I've had anywhere. I liked it so much that I came back TWO DAYS IN A ROW (out of my 4-day trip), which says a lot. On my first visit, I ordered the 710 sandwich, their classic brisket with BBQ sauce. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and a perfect match for the meat. The next day, I tried the 405 topped with garlic aioli, caramelized onions, and sautéed mushrooms. Different flavor profile, equally excellent. Both sandwiches were generously packed with meat. Each time, they also offered extra sauces on the side. The 405 was paired with a refreshing cilantro green sauce, which is absolutely necessary for the full experience and really elevates the sandwich. I didn't even think to take a photo the first time because I was too eager to dig in, but I snapped one on my second visit. You can clearly see how loaded the 405 is with brisket. I haven't been to their LA location yet, but if this Vegas outpost is any indication, they're doing something very right. Had the original sub & was not just delicious but very generous portion, especially compared to Sourdough & co. which had some of the smallest subs I've ever had. The cost is on the higher side but at least it was good and bigger portion.
