La BURRITA is a hidden gem of the San Jose/ South Bay Area. It would be nice to keep it as a secret but as all business goes, especially during Covid season, we should all be supporting and promoting especially the local and small businesses within our communities. Had the quesa burria. Orange salsa on the side. Its beef and not goat, but I was ok with that. More like barbocca. A little soggy. The bites of heavy corn flavor from the tortilla were the best. Found this place on IG and thought I would give it a try after trying quesabirrias before at "con sabor a mexico" which were phenomenal compared to the ones here. I came for the 3 quesaburrias 1 consume for $10 and got charged $20. The girl at the register kindly called the owner about the special for the day but the owner just said they have specials but it varies by location and that's it. Not a good first experience for me. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I check out a lot of trucks, and this one is my favorite. The food is so good that I come back at least twice each week. They are so friendly, and they remember me when I come back. If you want to eat there, they made a nice shaded area to sit. The wait is very short, even when they are busy. If you park in the neighborhood behind it, the walk is very short and it's easy to get back on the road when you're done. They know what they're doing on the griddle, and the carnitas is my favorite. I always get at least 5 tacos. Just the right texture to the meat with good flavor. Other good meat choices are the al pastor and chicken. Burritos are great too, and they offer regular and super versions that step up what you've had at other places. If you want something beyond the usual, their menu offers some interesting options that I'd never had before, along with familiar favorites like enchiladas, which challenge what you'd get at a sit-down restaurant. I have had food from here before and it's been good. Tonight we got a steak super burrito and a steak quesadilla. Both were way, way too salty. We could not finish them due to the salt. We have all had something before that was too salty. When this happens it is difficult to eat all of the item/s. A touch of salt is supposed to enhance the flavor not over power the flavors. I ordered food to go and they charged me for extra guacamole, they sent me a regular taco with meat and no salsas like i had asked and paid for and of course no guacamole. What kind of taco place charges for extras and can't even provide salsa and fixings on a taco? If you can't do the basics and on top of that you charge extras, don't operate a food business. Best pastor tacos in the area I've tried quite a few pastor tacos in my day, and am always on the search for the perfect taco. Easy 9/10 as the meat is phenomenal and salsa is incredible. They messed up our entire order. We both asked them for no onions in everything and she repeated it back to us. When we got home and opened them up, there was more onions than meat. This taco truck is amazing! Very clean, very nice customer service. We originally went in for the micheladas and mariscos but they only do that on sundays. So be sure to check the menu. We ordered the quesabirrias and they were delicious! They are sized pretty large and they are handmade tortillas. Very yummy! We were very satisfied. We wanted to order the sopes but it was going to take them a while to prepare and we came hungry so we decided to order something else. We sat there and ate outside. I was in the area to see a show at the SAP center over the weekend and stumbled upon this place through Instagram "searching". The amount of cheese on the quesabirrias was amazing and it blended with the other flavors! However, the birria itself was not astronomical. We also ordered tacos de lengua. Those were definitely good. One thing, though, I definitely do NOT recommend la agua de horchata. I took one sip & threw it away immediately afterwards. Stopped by today and ordered 3 quesabirrias, 1 small consommé, 3 carne asada tacos, 1 small watermelon agua fresca and a large horchata. The total was $38 and some change, which is honestly on the pricier side. At the first sip, the watermelon agua fresco is definitely on the sweet side, I had to water it down. The horchata itself is extremely powdery which was super disappointing. My mouth was full with powder even after mixing it. The birria and tacos were okay. Personally, I prefer Spartans over it, in terms of quality and price, but I wouldn't say it is terrible. read more

Fast service, so kids were very happy. Great variety on the menu that satisfied one child who wanted noodles, while the rest of us had burritos and tacos. I like how everything was clean and nicely packaged. However they are pretty overpriced for a taco truck and charge for every side that you'd normally get with your Tacos elsewhere. They usually have deals every so often where they lower the price and offer a package deal for multiple birria tacos. They even have birria ramen, which I've been told is life changing. I will definitely be going back for the tacos, and to try their ramen. They also have a massive homemade drink section as well as Mexican sodas! 3.5 birria ramen now 9.99 and the beef soup is rich, flavorful with tender meat, so extra star for that, but not something to crave when mixed with instant noodles (get soggy so fast) but the onion/parsley on top is just like on the tacos. would try more however. read more
