First time here. Wasn't a huge fan when it was Lee's, but I'm a fan now! Spacious and clean area with little snacks, goodies, and various drinks available! Counter person was friendly and so was the person that brought our food! The banh mi sandwich was nice and fresh! The veggies were crisp and light. The flavor was on point, and the bread! The bread had a nice toast and was still soft on the inside! Great local spot! If ya haven't been, ya need to!

Quick friendly service at this casual spot with ample seating in a spacious interior. Standard menu for a Vietnamese cafe with a decent selection of specialty drinks. We had Beef Rolls, Fried Egg Rolls, and Ube Coffee. Although the presentation was standard, the prices were cheap and the food was fresh and tasty.

My boyfriend and I love coming to this place! The breads for the bahn mi is always fresh, and you can't beat the price. The pate is flavorful, and it's the best I've ever had! The strawberry matcha is also delicious and not too sweet.

The corndogs are my favorite item from the menu and a must try if you haven't yet. I like the smoothies too. They offer sandwiches and other hot foods too. Menu isn't big but for a quick bite, La Ca Bakery is great!

A lovely eatery literally. It's reasonably priced with great food at good prices. I got Donuts coffee & bacon/egg/cheese croissant sandwiches. I'd never been, but noticed ppl frequent this place a lot as I saw 5 ppl come for pick up/pre orders meaning they are legit and good to go.

This is what happens when a Lee's sandwiches goes out of business and others buy it up and try to keep the sandwiches and expand the menu to include trendy donuts and foods. This place is still busy and looks to be making a lot of money

Great cafe in Hayward with a variety of coffee and tea drinks, banh mis, spring rolls, buns, bowls, and mochi donuts. I had the ube coffee and mushroom and taro buns (2 buns per flavor). My friend had a tea lemonade and a Thai tea mochi donut. The buns were tasty and the coffee was strong with great ube foam. I tried some of my friend's donut and the Thai tea flavor was apparent. Service was friendly though a bit disorganized as they didn't seem to a system to let people know their orders were ready. My order was also given to me in a big paper bag even though I didn't say that I wanted it to go. Not a big deal as I save paper bags for recycling but odd that they assumed I was taking my order to go when I didn't specify this. I think my order was ~$14, which I expected for a drink and two bun orders. Though they have a parking lot, space is somewhat limited with multiple business. I had to park behind the building and had difficulty getting out of my parking space because there wasn't enough room to turn around. Though the location is a bit out of the way, I would come back if in the area.

I was at La Ca Bakery & Cafe to buy 2 Banh MIs for Lunch. After ordered my 2 Banh MIs for Lunch!!! Then I saw that they had 3 Fruity Pebbles Mochi nuts Donuts in the Display case .. That's when my Sweet Tooth kicked in !!! So I brought 3 of the Mochi Nuts Fruity Pebbles and Wolfed them down like a Sugar Junkie and Washed them down with my Coconut Water!!!! They were Delicious !!! Service was Good and Fast !! Place was Fairly Clean . I received my 2 Bahn MIs and rolled home!! I ate my Banh MIs when I got home. They were Good!! Well Constructed and a good Mix of Ingredients!! Flavors were there!!! For all these Reasons. This Is A Baller On A Budget Approved Establishment!!! I Keep My Pimp Hand Strong !!!

    Menu drinks

Dragon berry not good. Pink paradise the flavor is good but there was too much ice and was not blended thoroughly. Strawberry matcha was good. Total was $20.89

I went to CSU East Bay for an orientation when my family and I stumbled on this absolute gem in Hayward. We literally dream of their banh mi! Straight when we walked in, we all loved the vibe of the cafe - it was spacious with cute yellow walls and mochi donuts on display. I got a grilled chicken banh mi and a boba drink, and both were delicious. However, they have many options like the aforementioned mochi donuts, K-dogs, and other desserts. My family tried their other banh mi and loved it - they had nice moisture from what I'm assuming is a nicely buttered roll, fresh vegetables, and well-cooked meat. Not to mention, the portion is pretty sizeable. The servers were nothing crazy - just the normal amount of helpful and patient, which I always appreciate. Either way, I always make it a point to come back to this place when we're in the East Bay - such a great spot!

This place is delicious. It's also Mochinut, an Asian style bakery selling these cool looking donuts. I ordered the bowl with shrimp and pork. Delicious with the peanut sauce and vegetables. The place is trendy and the service is pretty fast after you get your order in. My only complaint is the portions are small for the price of $14-$16 per bowl or entree item.

Ordered a dozen mochi donuts online 3 days prior. The order was ready via text message and pick up was easy, showed the order confirmation to staff. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and combined with another snack restaurant. The mochi donuts were so cute and with the decorations, warm, crispy, and not too sweet which I love. I'm not a huge sweet fan but I'd come back for these.

My largest complaint is that the meat is all centered in the middle so it looks like you get a ton of meat but about 1/3 of the sandwich is empty. It's a decent option if you're craving a sandwich but the meat discrepancy makes the sandwich feel cheap.

But don't think there are multiple locations...yet. Upon receiving my sandwiches, it was wrapped in a paper with their company logo, and from a quick glance it is super similar to the Jersey Mikes logo in terms of color, so it has a real familiar vibe. No hate just an observation. This used to be another restaurant (maybe even several) on the edge of an industrial zone/business park, but also not too far from several shopping strips. There's spacious seating inside, but in the later afternoon when I went, nobody was eating in. But quite a few take-out and third party pick-ups. I even saw a poster showcasing their catering aspect for common work lunches on the company dime. Good for them. Niles Canyon ($14.50/4*) I opted to up this to their combo meal which includes a bag of chips and a soda for another $5. So this was easily a $20 lunch meal without tipping yet. Pricey yes, but not because they are pricier than most, but that is just the going rate for eating a meal outside these days. $15 - $20 per person are common and anything under $15 is now considered cheap eats and getting harder to run into. This sandwich had slightly warmed up deli turkey that when stacked with the swiss cheese slices, kinda softened the cheese. It wasn't ooey gooey but the cheese wasn't firm and cold either. There was another layer of prosciutto as well which wasn't too noticeable but did add another dimension. I chose to go with the full produce choice, as I love the freshness of veggies to go with meat sandwiches. There was also a layer of fresh avo slices which lent a creamy richness to the bites. I tried one of their sliced breads to go for this sandwich, as I tried a sourdough roll for another sandwich that I got to-go for my work lunch the next day. That way I got to sample their bread offerings. Their sliced marbled rye bread is thick sliced, very soft and moist with a good bread chew. They use a good bread supplier for sure. On top of mayo and mustard which is common, they also put their Bomb Sauce which seems like a garlic-y spread of sorts. I can definitely smell it, but the taste isn't overly strong. I'd say super similar to Mr Pickles. Prosciutto Sandwich ($13/4*) This was an all-cold traditional sandwich. I took a couple of bites there to see how it was fresh from the counter, and I ate the rest the next day at work. I gotta say I liked it better the next day as all the flavors melded more together. Even tho the veggies get a bit mushier, I've always liked a well dressed salad sensation in sandwiches, kinda like a Muffeletta sandwich where it is refrigerated overnight, meant to be eaten the next day. Their prosciutto isn't the old school imported version, or at least I've never had one quite like it. I'm assuming a domestic version, even seemed more like cappicola to me as I sensed a tinge of fennel up in there. So pretty satisfied with my first visit. I'll definitely get sandwiches here again for work or day trip lunches. Pretty much on the same level as Togo's or Mr. Pickles, but just more local. With sandwich names as The Quarry Lakes, The Decoto and The Dumbarton, just pulls on my local lovin' heartstrings. Props.
