I came on Taco Tuesday! Look at the pictures i posted for their menu on Tuesdays. If you looking for good Mexican food this should definitely be on your list of Mexican Restaurants to try out. The bartender was great and made good drinks. The tacos were good. They condiments of assortment of hot sauces. The place is average size but during busy times it can get really crowded. They do have a little patio outside to enjoy your food and/or drinks.

We came for taco Tuesday's. They have pretty good specials on tacos and margaritas. Claudia provided amazing service. We will definitely be back!

I are at the La Costilla Grill express at the food court in Fiesta Plaza. It was very good. If you are an English only speaker like me you will definitely be a minority, but if you don't mind stepping out of your comfort zone a bit there are some great shops and dining opportunities at Plaza Fiesta. The food court here has 5 major restaurants a d there are a couple others scattered through the shopping area. Plus smaller food stalls. Like taking an exotic vacation for lunch. I got tacos asada, always a safe bet. I got three amazing street tacos and beans. With a drink under $20. There are lots of choices here so you can come back and try another next time. Why not 5 stars? Well it is good, but not over the top. A good value, but not amazing. It is still street tacos ona paper plate you eat in a common food court. A nice lunch but not fancy. It is a solid 4 stars. Everyone is helpful to those of us linguistically challenged.

As a manager of a restaurant this was an awful experience. Temperature was 78 the entire time, corn tortillas were stale & our server was awful. He took forever and disappeared. Ive been here so many times but it has gone downhill. The radio was in and out the entire time also, absolutely ridiculous. Our server was Franquel & it was awful.

Honestly I saw a post on social media and it made me curious. It had a really good Tuesday special so I decided to give it a shot. They have them birria tacos which are two for 10 with a side. And then I have the margarita specials as well. Of course I tried that birria taco, this is why I'm here lol. It's in a strip mall so you come in and you welcome through the door and there's a bar plenty of tequila if you're into that. They have music playing in the background and everything is pretty spacious. I can see it immediately, what I went to the bar and I can help immediately since let's head out so so far the customer service has been pretty good. You look at chips and salsa, and I will give you a couple different types of salsa for the chips. The chips seem pretty hot fresh. I got some french fries with some cheese dip as well. The cheese was good it wasn't like it they left that long sitting out, although it was much more greasy than desired. You can see the grease sitting on the stop of the bowl, which made it kinda watery (instead of a actual cheese sauce). The Taco's were okay. I kind of expected them to be the type of birria tacos that I was used to, these seemed like regular tacos with the beef inside. What I was expecting was tacos cooked in the consume so they have that redish orangish tint to them, and served with a warm cup or bowl of the consume. These were basically like regular shells with a spoonful of the birria meat. The meat is supposed to be marinated and then the taco is cooked on both sides. Because if you do a Google search, that is pretty much what you will find, not just regular flour tortillas. Maybe that was my expectation, but for 10 dollars they were just normal tacos. They were decent tacos, true enough, but I would not have called them birria. I would still go back though, but now that I have that expectation adjusted in my head.

I came here for my 1st time dining in since this Virus broke out. We were only allowed 3 to table. We were seated right away! Inside was nice and spacious. The parking lot is wide and spacious. This place came with complimentary chips and salsa.(red and green salsa) Waitress service was awesome and very fast. I ordered the combination (3 steak tacos). The steak was amazing and taco was awesome. I loved them. I wish I could of ate some more. Next time I will definitely get the steak since it tasted so good this time!!

If I could give less than a one I WOULD!!! I'm currently inside this restaurant on taco Tuesday waiting for my food from Little Lagos to get done. Now wait I did order here this place was the main reason for driving 45 thru traffic to try.. However the waitress SUCKS THE FOOD SUCKS FLAVORLESS AT THE MAX EVEN THE CHEESE HAD NO TASTE. I added salt and pepper to even the Guacamole rice and the consommé.. birria taco was hard like paper and flavorless.... Please stop plying with ppl food

This Mexican restaurant is in the back of the Crossroads Village plaza. The plaza is large enough to not have to worry about parking. Despite the small amount of walking space in front of the store they were able to fit four full-sized patio tables there, each with a large umbrella. I walked in and placed a takeout order for a chicken taco, a grilled shrimp taco, and a fried shrimp taco, all on flour tortillas. It was thirty minutes later when I got my order. I spent some of that time looking around. Around the dining area is black leather, dark wood, and a black floor, against a light colored wall. It isn't as large as a full-sized restaurant's dining space but it can definitely seat a few dozen guests; not including the ten or so barstools. In one corner are slot machines and barrel tables to stand at. The section of stand alone tables are pushed together as one in a way that makes me think these tables weren't apart of the original setup. Maybe they were added once the restaurant started to get more business. I take it the owners are Catholic, as there's a cross hanging over the bar and an altar for Our Lady of Guadalupe in the dining area. Every employee I met is Latin and seem to all speak Spanish. There's a male and female bathroom. The women's is small and clean. There are two stalls (one large handicapped) and a single glittering sink on a weathered wood vanity. I now want a glittery sink. I sat at the bar to wait for my food and the bartender almost immediately brought me a menu and promised to be with me in a moment. I wasn't having a drink but that's some quick courteous service. After thirty minutes of waiting and confirming my order with two people my food came out. I guess the hostess heard "fried fish" instead of "fried shrimp". The chicken and shrimp tacos were good; not spectacular, or really anything special. The flour tortillas and lack of sauce made it a dry meal. I did take a bite of the fish taco but fish on a taco just isn't my thing. There was a bowl of something I didn't order that looked like gumbo. I wasn't given utensils (or napkins) so I couldn't dig through it to see what was in it. I pulled up the online menu to figure out what was in the bowl. Turns out there's a three-tacos meal on the menu that comes with charro beans, which is similar to a gumbo. Like the tacos' flavor, the aroma was ok but didn't make my mouth water. I didn't eat it. Masks are required and hand sanitizer is at the entrance. You can make a pickup order online and order delivery through UberEats or Doordash.

Went in for lunch on a Sunday. Restaurant was very busy. Was offered to sit at bar. Bartender was professional and fast. We ordered three taco special and chicken burrito. Margarita was excellent. Food was on time and perfect temperature which is something I'm really sensitive to. one table had about 20 people at. Seems like everyone was getting food timely. Our food was very tasty. Loved the chipotle mayo on the burrito. We would recommend. Will be back.

This place is awesome. The atmosphere is very inviting. It is a very clean establishment. The servers are all friendly. The Margaritas are awesome. The steak tacos are to die for. This was my first time and I will definitely be back. The cozy environment is perfect for a date night. Friends night. Even family night. The televisions can be seen from wherever you sit. And the prices are very cost effective.

I was craving some Mexican food along with a margarita recently and decided to pop in and give La Costilla a try. Right off the bat, I wasn't too keen on the service because when I entered the restaurant and said hello to the greeter in the front, she ignored me. Not a great first impression. They are spacing diners out and use every other table to seat people. The wait staff also wore masks throughout service. My waitress did just enough to be decent, nothing above and beyond from her. She also wasn't too knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered a taco plate that came with three tacos of my choice along with rice. I got two shrimp and one fish taco. They were a bit underwhelming, with the fish being a bit too salty. The Mexican rice was the highlight of my meal unfortunately. I also ordered a margarona. It was okay, the margarita portion of it was a bit weak. I wasn't blown away from my experience here. They have decent rice but that seems to be my only highlight.

We were there celebrating our engagement, and they made it feel so special by decorating our table with rings and confetti to celebrate our love. Our server gave us so much attention and made the experience feel personal. Since it was our first time there, they took the time to walk us through some of the best items on and off the menu, and shared their favorite dishes. Everything was done with care. The restaurant was clean, the bathroom was amazing, and the food was worth every dollar. The short rib was so tender, and the New York strip was seasoned to perfection and cooked medium well just how we like it. The twice-baked potato loaded with bacon, sour cream, chives, and cheese was delicious, and the mac and cheese was so good. I also appreciated that they allowed me to order it without the roasted saltine crackers. I can't wait to visit again!

Bones has old money vibes - for example, the receptionist referred to us as Mr. and Ms. which I felt like was very polite and again, traditional. We were celebrating my birthday, and they pre-decorated our table a little bit! We got special print-out menus that said "Happy Birthday" and the table had a little bit of confetti on it! It was a nice gesture to be welcomed with. Our server, Michael, was great at being attentive (without being overly attentive), and providing recs/answering our questions. We went with the Crab and Lobster Napoleon for our app, the Ribeye to split, and a side of their famous Hash Browns. Everything was very good!! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but all the food comes out hot, fresh, and with good flavor. I really do recommend getting the Hash Browns - it sounds a little silly to order such a dish at a steakhouse, but try it for yourself :) All dishes have a good portion size so keep that in mind when ordering! While not pictured, I do have to give a shoutout to the complimentary bread service - their bread is real good. Hot and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. Try not to get full off the bread alone. For dessert, Bones surprised us with literally the tallest and thickest slice of ice cream cake I've ever seen! My jaw dropped. I love ice cream cake and it was awesome to be treated to some!! I already thought that the table decorations and the special menu were enough to recognize my birthday, but this is the generosity of Bones. I will absolutely be returning some day! If not for the amazing food, then for the equally amazing hospitality! Thank you Bones for a wonderful birthday! Note: Complimentary valet parking ONLY. We asked the valet person if we could just park the car but we weren't allowed to. Bring some cash for a tip.

Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

Right when we walked in, the staff complained to us that we hadn't called ahead to have a "smaller, special menu" crafted for a large party. To make matters worse, they loudly announced to the whole table right off rip that they wouldn't split checks separately--only an even split. It felt incredibly rude, lazy, and unwelcoming. The irony is that the large group size wasn't even an issue; we staggered our arrivals and the patio was completely empty. The kicker- my brother in law ended up paying the whole tab at the end anyways! so all of that initial laziness & nastiness for NOTHING! Throughout the night, the service felt incredibly rushed and stressed. While we were still eating our appetizers, the busser was aggressively trying to clear our plates because the mains were coming. Our server was very short with us the entire time, which was confusing because the restaurant didn't even have a stressful vibe. She recommended a main dish to me that I really didn't care for, though I will say the salsa was unique and probably the best part of the meal. Shoutout to the one staff member who was actually friendly, but overall, this is not the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a nice restaurant experience- at least I personally didn't.. Too bad we didn't just go to C&S next door which we always love. Regardless tho, my sister had a blast, but that's entirely because she has a wonderful crew of great friends, not because of Casi Cielo.

It did not disappoint - in fact, it exceeded my expectations. First of all, Ken was an excellent server. He was paced, attentive, informative, and communicative throughout our experience. We were also celebrating our anniversary, and he and the staff made sure to make the occasion memorable (won't give away to keep it special for you). The food was amazing from beginning to end. First, the bread service was prompt, warm, soft, and served with ricotta. Next, the Ceasar salad was made next to where we sat - and to see them mixing the salads so meticulously down to mixing the dressing from scratch was one of the most amazing dining experiences I've had. I love a good Ceasar - and this was amongst the best. We also ordered the Oysters Marcel - and they were so fresh and bright. For our main course, my wife ordered the bone-in filet. It was cooked to perfection (medium rare - medium). I enjoyed redfish topped with Jump Lump Crab Oscar sauce (with crabs). Both proteins were amazing, but I was surprised by how perfectly cooked the fish was. Delectable. For sides, we enjoyed Cream Corn Gratin and Pommes Frites Béarnaise . Both were complementary of the proteins. The dessert was a 10-Layer Chocolate Cake. It was sooo good. Sweet but not too sweet. Good as it looks. Lastly, the ambiance was amazing. It was like stepping into a portal into a different space in time - almost made you forget we were in Atlanta. It's a bit dark inside - but a well lit darkness - just like I like it. Easy to see the entire space but also feel unseen (even though you are). Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone - although we made a pact to not take anyone from our circle. We want to keep this one for us. But hopefully this write up encourages a stranger to enjoy Marcel. Merci

A moody, retro, classic world where…read morebowties are worn unironically in a setting that could best be described as a boxing gym renovated with industrial touches to become a steakhouse in the 1940s. That world could be anywhere. It could even be in Midtown West Atlanta. Service was impeccable. Servers knew we were celebrating our anniversary and were attentive and helpful when making tough menu choices. Pacing was definitely geared toward fine dining. 40 minutes between starters and entree was a BIT long, but it went by. Steak was wonderful (a porterhouse for 2), cooked to a perfect medium rare with seasoning appropriately calibrated to not overpower. East and west coast oysters were fresh and the Marcel salad to start was underdressed and lacked flavor (I enjoyed how they plopped a mound of bleu cheese on top to mix in; I pushed this aside which my server and I laughed about. He said he'd do the same. Maybe it's a sign). Hot bread service with a spreadable cheese and prosciutto was a nice touch. The French fries are probably the best I've ever had, and the asparagus was asparagus (slightly undersalted if anything). Chocolate cake was impressive in presentation but unremarkable for flavor and consistency. My wife enjoyed her decaf coffee as the best she's had at a restaurant, but her cocktail left something to be desired and was extremely tart. A Mexican coke was perfect enough for me. The pricing here is exorbitant. The price tag isn't necessarily a problem given the caliber of dining experience and ambiance that Marcel provides, but given some of the misses on staple items (namesake salad, "famous" chocolate cake), I'm not sure that value for dollar spent is present. In transparency, our dinner comprised of the above was over $400 with tip, which was aligned with expectations walking in the door. Whether the food stood up to the actual place and pricing is a debate. I lean toward an answer of "almost, but close enough not to be insulted." If a gun was pointed at my head to pick the "best steakhouse" in Atlanta, I'd pick Bones without thinking twice. This place is a close second probably, but places like Nowaks in Sandy Springs, while not the same echelon of formality, might have Marcel beat on flavor and definitely have Marcel beat on value for the dollar. Is Marcel's concept valid and well executed? Yes, without question. Would I want somebody else to pay if I returned? Yes, without question. 4.3/5 stars

I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.
