    Good Times in Ahwatukee!!
    Kenda V.

We love having a crab shack here in Ahwatukee. Great parking. Nice clean restaurant & very friendly staff. We have been here on the weekend and also during the week - service & food quality remains consistent. Personal Fav is the Cajun Garlic shrimp then add potato & sausage for a good mix of textures & taste. My ONLY "note"....eating is a multi sense experience. Eyes, nose, mouth & Ears. The music did not match the theme or vibe, at times it was a bit jarring. Try adding jazz or blues type background music to complete the Experience . My kiddos will not eat seafood (yet, we will get there) so we get them a Chicken Tender meal and that chicken is so fresh & "tender"! Nicely breaded, crisp not soggy. Crispy skinny fries. Good job

It's was so good we had to come back for round 2 on day 2 Same great service. The special! 1 lb of shrimp with the trifecta sauce, 1 snow crab cluster, corn and a potato. SO GOOD. WAIT...AMAZING. The sauce! The sauce! The sauce would taste good on a rock. Pecan praline ice cream to finish. A total win. I'm addicted. This is my neighborhood. Our household budget needs a new line item titled LA Crab House Ahwatukee. And these are great people. That makes it all even better.

This place was really good, I'll be back. I ordered the Dungeness crab clusters and the soft shell crab. The seasonings were on point and there was so much soft shell crab, other places like this usually give you two crabs cut in half, so four pieces total. They played really good music too, so that's a plus. Lastly, our server was awesome, super friendly!

Atmosphere The restaurant has a casual, laid-back vibe, suitable for families and groups. Decor is themed around a coastal seafood shack, contributing to the overall dining experience. Pricing Prices are generally considered reasonable for the quality and quantity of food offered. The menu features a variety of options, including shrimp, lobster, and fish, often served with flavorful sauces. You can feel the freshness and flavor of the seafood, particularly the crab dishes. Staff it's friendly and attentive. Recommended .

This is a new location of it. Food was great and quick service, staff are nice and helpful. Highly recommended

Dinner special. A lobster tail, a pound of shrimp, corn on the cob and a potato.

We tried this place for the first time last night and it was delicious. The service was good but we got our appetizer after the food was delivered. I did not care for the fried calamari but everything else was great! I think the prices are reasonable. I had the special of a lobster tail, lb of shrimp, corn on the cob and a potato. Absolutely worth the $25. I also liked that the restaurant was very clean.

Food was DELICIOUS! My usual go to for seafood boil was Angry Crab Shack, but I feel like it's always been a hit or miss for me. I ordered 1 lb head on shrimp with the house special seasoning, it was on point. The prices were also affordable and not too crazy, I definitely recommend if you're searching for THAT seafood spot. Service was also quick and super friendly. Bring the business here, it's well deserved!

Always great service and food! Call ahead because wait times can get busy around dinner so having a reservation is always key. Happy hours have a great specials as well..

The service was fast and friendly. We went for Happy Hour and we were blown away! Wine $3.50 for a generous pour of pino grigio that paired nicely with a hearty gumbo and a plate of fried goodies straight from Cajun country! The remolaude sauce and ranch were my favorite. The atmosphere was casual and the prices were great. My husband and I love good Louisiana cooking and this place has it! Definitely my new go to place. Next time crab legs!

A Taste of the Bayou Right Here!…read more Walking into Flavors of Louisiana feels like stepping straight into the heart of the South--where the spices are bold, the portions are generous, and every bite carries a story. From the moment I sat down, the warm hospitality made me feel like family, and the aroma of Cajun spices drifting from the kitchen let me know I was in for something special. The Food The star of the show is undeniably the seafood dishes. The crawfish étouffée was rich and velvety, with layers of flavor that only true Louisiana cooking can capture. The seasoning was spot-on--bold without being overpowering, spicy but balanced. The fried catfish was golden perfection: crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. And don't get me started on the gumbo--hearty, smoky, and brimming with soul. Every side dish felt like comfort food elevated. The hush puppies were crisp little bites of heaven, and the dirty rice was so flavorful it could have been a meal on its own. The Experience What I loved most was the authenticity. Nothing felt watered down or rushed--it was food made with love, patience, and pride. The staff checked in often, always with a smile, and you could tell they genuinely cared that you enjoyed not just your meal, but your entire experience. Final Thoughts Flavors of Louisiana isn't just a restaurant--it's an experience. It's the kind of place you come to when you want food that warms your soul and reminds you what real flavor is supposed to taste like. If you've never had authentic Cajun or Creole cooking before, this is the perfect place to start. And if you already love Louisiana cuisine, you'll feel right at home. Authentic. Flavorful. Unforgettable!

We ordered the yakisoba noodles along with the Family Combo F2, which came with crawfish, headless shrimp, and snow crab. It also included corn, potatoes, and sausage, making it the perfect meal to share. Everything came out hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The seafood was cooked just right, easy to peel, and packed with flavor. The crawfish, shrimp, and snow crab all tasted incredibly fresh, and the seasoning had just the right amount of spice without overpowering the seafood. The corn, potatoes, and sausage soaked up all of the delicious Cajun butter seasoning and were just as flavorful as the seafood itself. The yakisoba noodles were another standout. They were cooked perfectly with great flavor and paired really well with the seafood boil. The portions were generous, so you'll definitely leave full, and the quality of the food really impressed us. Everything we ordered was a 10/10, and we'll absolutely be back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend!

We complained about the shrimp and scallop quality and were only offered 20% off -- they didn't even offer to remake the dish. I did eat the side items -- the corn and potato -- because the waitress never came by to check on us or ask how our food was. I refused to pay for the seafood portion, and they actually called the police on me. I have never been treated so badly by a restaurant, especially when the food quality was that poor. So beware: if the food quality is bad and you feel it's unfair to pay for it, they will threaten you with the police -- who clearly have more important things to deal with than responding to a restaurant's food‑quality complaint.

Very nice place where many other parties were also there celebrating bday's! They were out of the trout so I ordered the Wild Caught Snapper dish and it was the most delish fish I've had that was similar to chicken. My husband ordered the seafood fried platter! We split a seafood andouille gumbo. They had Parmesan garnished on my food and were able to accommodate my dairy allergy! Super glad it wasn't an issue. The manager came to make sure I was pleased. He and our server were nice! Charlie was our server. He was super friendly. We will come back! Happy to share the place with seafood lovers friends and family when they visit us!

We…read moredecided to come here for bday dinner. 8 people total so I knew they would automatically add tips. Which is custom and I am used to it but 20% automatic seems bit much. But our server was great and he would have gotten the 20% at least... I don't know why I didn't take pictures except for mine. Probably because I was so freaking annoyed. Well for a start Fruit De Mer, $37.95 for shrimp, crab fingers and oysters. Shrimp was OK, they weren't pealed probably so I bit into small shells few times, crab fingers was super tiny with almost no meat to little meat, little fishy, not tasty, oysters.. two big and two tiny ones. Big ones I'm guessing Louisiana oysters, small one I have no idea. I kid you not small ones looked like ones you get at cheap Chinese buffet. For how much you got the price you pay was beyond me. I think maybe 15 bux might have been OK. Rest of the dishes were pretty good but when I saw my dish I was confused. I had to look at the menu to see if I made the right order. Looked at the picture I took 11 months ago and verified I orders the same dish. I know cost of things have gotten up and some times you have to decide keep the price same and give smaller portion or raise the price.. Well I would have preferred either or. Not the dish I got which looked and tasted like, keep the same peice, add more pasta, put less seafood. I was so annoyed I wanted to complain but I got the evil eyes from my wifey since it was a bday dinner celebration, so I kept my mout shut. I remember seafood gumbo being amazing but for some reason shrimp gumbo was also pure disappointment. Little salty and lacked the flavor that I remember eating. Definitely not worth the price for a cup. Filet mignon for $68.95 definitely was not worth the price tag also. Over all food was pretty good but not as good as last time I ate there. Service was still great which is nice. I cannot keep this place 4 starts anymore. And I used to recommend this place to everybody but not after today. That almost $38 appetizer was sad and over priced and they totally ruined my Pasta Mardi Gras. Maybe I am being too harsh but 8 people dinner with 3 appetizers, one main dishes per person, just water to drink for over $650, I just could not get over the fact that it was not worth the over all price.

I read the fried chicken is popular so I ordered the 4 piece version with sides of rice and gravy along with some maque choux and a biscuit for $21. The food arrived about 15 minutes later on a big plate. The chicken pieces had a dark brown crust and were quite good tasting. Not too crusty and with hot and flavorful meat on the bone. The rice and light brown gravy were good and the maque choux looked different from the South Louisiana variety but I still enjoyed it. It had corn, tomatoes, onions and bell peppers in it. I'll bet few locals have ever heard of it! The tablevservice was good too. This was a lot of food and I didn't finish it all but it was all good tasting and very close to real southern style cooking. I would be happy to return.

Their house blend is the best sauce I've ever had, that alone is what keeps us coming back, I believe it is a Viet style Cajun sauce. We usually get the build your own combo, with crawfish, snow crab, and a few appetizers like french fries, garlic noodles, and onion rings. I believe they have changed management recently, or in the past few years. Although the sauce remains delicious, the food quality seems to be falling, and I see that they have a few food safety violations listed on their Yelp. The garlic noodles were swimming in the watery sauce, and the Cajun fries were not tossed, just sprinkled on top. The restaurant has never been that busy when we go, and there is usually is only one server doing all the hosting, food running, and waitressing. Ours seemed to be a little stressed today, and did not refill our drinks as much as we would've preferred, and forgot things like our salt and pepper. We will probably still keep coming just for that sauce, but looks like the restaurant has a few things to work out to bring back its former glory.

That did not make the food Taste good at all. They put way too much garlic in it, and the food was impossible to eat because it was overcooked and it was rubbery. I was very disappointed on how much money I spent . if I knew in advance that they had a family emergency and was closing 1 hour early I would've waited and come back the next day and maybe the food would've have tasted a lot better. It was the lobster seafood boil for two couples, and I bought two sets for four couples. Just beware that if they're in a hurry, try not to be in a hurry to eat here. You probably get a better experience than what my family did.
