Cute little restaurant with great breakfast options. I got the everything omelet (I dont remember the official name) on a croissant and potatoes. Everything was delightful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the environment was a tad stressful and unorganized. JFC, the oatmeal at the Hotel was $9.....Let's put that in perspective .... so you can get a bushel of oats or about 35 pounds for $5....... Selected La Croisette strictly based on Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. We had breakfast and it was fantastic and not over priced. Get the daily crepe .... not the sweet one - the savory one. I was looking for a place for good cup of coffee and this diner did not disappoint the coffee was tasty! I went on a Saturday morning and they were pretty busy. I had wait for a few minutes to be greeted by a host and it was a little confusing whether you sit yourself or not but wasn't a huge deal. There was one table open but it was dirty so had to wait a few minutes to sit but they were friendly about it. Had old school diner vibes and all the food was so good! I had the bacon egg croissant sandwich and the croissant was so buttery! I also tried the Texas toast French toast and it is one of the best tasting French toast I've ever tried! 4.2? Huh. Food was mediocre at best. It seemed like the food could have been good if the owners didn't try to cut corners on quality to save a few bucks here and there. Fruit cup was little pieces of chopped up fruit. Looked almost like baby food. Egg sandwich was under seasoned and contained little bits of avocado. Throw some normal sized slices on there please. No real maple syrup. At least give the option of an up charge. No fruit topping option for the waffles. Coffee was just plain bad. Prices weren't as reasonable as they should have been given the poor quality of the ingredients and the preparation of the food. If you want high quality food, great coffee and awesome staff in a beautiful setting with beautiful views, skip this place and go to Café Soleil down the road instead. Came here this morning for breakfast obviously it's a cute cafe, it's PINK! We ordered the bacon egg cheese bagel, French toast and a chocolate croissant. Hubby and I went for breakfast here today. The place was almost full but we managed to get a nice booth. Dana was the perfect server. Prompt but never intrusive. I had the crepe of the day with a side of fruit ((both quite large portions that I enjoyed so much I ate them all up). My husband had his usual bacon, eggs, hash browns and enjoyed it. My only issue would be the coffee. I like a more robust blend. Maybe next time I'll see if they have another option. read more

Authentic French. So we are in town on vacation, and stop by La Croisstte. Amazing! First we started with Chocolate twist.. delicious. I had the omelet with the corn beef hash mixed inside and the hollandaise sauce. Best omelet I've had. I am not a big fan of home fries but their's were so good, I ate them all. Staff was amazing and loved working together. The owner was so kind. I would make this a regular spot if I lived in St. Pete! If you like pre made food, cheese sauce out of a can and a place that has no real understanding of what food should be, then this is your place. A French place that uses frozen croissants and poor quality ingredients. Nothing here seems make from scratch. The service was not great either. How to begin? We stumbled upon this gem, looking for breakfast for our jet-lagged selves. C'est un délice! The menu is a plethora of irresistible delicacies. The croissant options alone were amazing. I settled on the "hangover", an omelette stuffed with a melody of cheese, corned beef hash (who'd have thought?), tomatoes and smothered in the worlds best hollandaise. My children chose crepes, French toast and amazing toppings. My best friend chose the eggs Benedict, served on a croissant, with a side of grits. All of it was delicious! Nathalie, the wonderful owner, visited our table and we discussed cooking, France and she showed us pictures of the original building and owners. She was delightful! We arrived on a Saturday at 11:15am and as busy as they were, we were able to get a booth for a party of 5 within 5 minutes, or so. Our server, Jennifer showed up at the table immediately to take our drink orders and returned to take our entree orders a few minutes after that. The dining room was clean, filled with lively chatter from happy patrons. The menu had lots of selections and we were very happy with our orders... my wife got the Lorraine Quiche and I got the Campagniard Omelette which had diced pepperoni, onions, and topped with Swiss cheese...
