The food was good. The service was kinda slow (they never refilled my water glass). I appreciate that their Restaurant Week lunch was $20 as opposed to $30 at most of the other fancy places. I like the atmosphere here.

I get chip/salsa full every single time I eat here. They are ALL yummy. I had the Perfect Margarita, Poblano pepper with picadillo and hubs had the Pork Avodoba. I always opt for grilled veggies instead of rice and beans. Always great food and we always ask for Amber. Whether it's a two top or a table of eight, she's on it.

I was honestly disappointed with the experience, mainly due to the atmosphere. It was nothing compared to what I expected, especially when compared to the vibe at Vance Jackson location We came specifically for Restaurant Week after seeing both a lunch and dinner menu advertised. However, when we arrived on a Sunday, we were told they were only offering a brunch menu. There was no mention anywhere that lunch is not available on Sundays, which was frustrating and misleading. Additionally, the owner really needs to address the staff attire. One server, who appeared to be about eight months pregnant, was wearing a uniform that was clearly not appropriate or professional--her top was unbuttoned at the bottom, exposing her belly. The restaurant should provide proper maternity uniforms or alternative attire. Unfortunately, it took away from the overall experience and gave the place an unprofessional, "Hooters-style" vibe, which did not match what we were expecting. Overall, the food was okay, but the atmosphere, misleading menu advertising, and lack of attention to professionalism really affected the experience.

It took us way too long to try this place, but we'll be back! Beautiful; clean and very nicely decorated. The chips were warm and crispy, the salsa was roasted and delicious. I was perfectly happy with that and the margarita, but I'm so happy that I got the shrimp cocktail and ceviche. The steak and shrimp were also amazing. I highly recommend La Fogata!

Overall we walked away with an "Okaaay" experience The food was a bit of a mixed experience for my family. We ordered the Chile Poblano al Carbón, which was a poblano pepper stuffed with shredded chicken and cheese. Unfortunately, it had way too much cheese like an overwhelming amount of cheese where we could barely taste the chicken. The best part of the plate was actually the Mexican rice and re fried beans. We also tried the Chile Relleno, but the batter over-shined the chile itself and it was a sweet verses savory /neutral taste. The batter made it hard for me to taste the chile. That or the chile was under seasoned. On the bright side, my kids really enjoyed the Chalupas Norteñas. We will most likely try a different location next time. Kinda walked away feeling like we wasted our money which is rare since we are a family of foodies

Full disclosure I'm not a die hard fan of Mexican or Tex Mex food. I know, I know. I moved to San Antonio. But I also don't hate it. I attended this location with a large group. Very few people bothered to finish their meals after one bite. One person sent hers back as soon as she saw it. The servers were kind, so no real complaints about that. On to the food. It just wasn't appealing in look & taste. I just didn't like it.

What a Great Surprise... this new location, for me at least. DEFLY, worth stopping in for a cocktail with Lynn at the bar and the 1st class service she provides! Or for their Thursday evening Fajita Special!!! Come check it out! It'll DEFLY keep ya' coming back!

We ordered delivery through door dash and everything came well packaged, order was correct and delicious. It's greatly appreciated to have something delivered that meets expectations.

This place is amazing. Are you looking to have a nice drink with friends and some appetizers this is the place to be. The decoration, music good vibe. The server was amazing helpful, giving us suggestion for drinks and appetizers.

We ate here after my wife's graduation, there was 13 of us. The food came out fast and the service was great. My wife and I ordered the parrillda for two it was meat heaven and so good. We also ate the Camarones aguachiles, it tasted phenomenal and refreshing. It was a great place to celebrate my wife's accomplishment. Definitely going back.

Arrived at this place around 4:30-5ish on a Sunday and there was no hostess to be found. It smelled like marijuana right as we walked in too. We didn't know what to do so we kinda looked around for a bit and then walked into the restaurant and took it upon ourselves to sit at a table. There was no worker to be found. No one manning the bar while 4-5 people were already seated at the bar. We were soooo confused. We waited almost 10 minutes before we saw someone working there and they finally come out and give us water and menus. At that point we should've left. But we were hungry so we stayed. The margaritas were $5 on Sunday, so we ordered one. That was probably the best thing we had thru this experience. I ordered the Poquito De Todo that comes with a cheese enchilada, cheese quesadilla, chicken flauta,a steak taco with rice and beans. The rice and beans were so bland, The cheese quesadilla was very greasy, the cheese enchilada gravy had a weird flavor. The best part of this plate was the steak taco. The Arrachera Mexicana meat had an ok flavor but the rice and beans obviously were flavorless. We sat and waited for our waitress to come back by so we could ask for the check and that took about 20 minutes. Then when we said we wanted to pay she took off with my debit card for another 15 minutes which was strange to me bc they take payment on a handheld device, so that kinda worried me. She came back and processed the payment on said handheld. I never got to see what I was being charged for so I asked for the receipt. The receipt never came. After waiting for another 15 minutes, I said screw it and left. We paid $68 for garbage Mexican food. Never again will we go to this place or recommend to anyone else. 1/10

Met up with our wonderful friends Robert and Brandy. We had a wonderful evening visiting and discussing the current events of our country, our lives and the future of everything. La Fogata on Austin Highway offered us the perfect location for our monthly gathering. Their world famous margaritas did not disappoint. We all raved about the taste and uniqueness of our chosen dishes. I had the enchiladas verde and beautiful wife enjoying a very tasty and attractive grilled chicken salad. Once again, the four of us had an amazing dinner at an amazing restaurant. I highly recommend La Fogata on Austin highway.

I'm not a big fan of chorizo, but I do seek out unique variations of eggs benedict, and this one fit the bill, so I went for it. The flavor combination was perfect, and I wasn't overwhelmed with chorizo. If you like eggs benny, give this variation a try. You won't be sorry! The refried beans - I know it's silly to review beans, but these were a bit different than the normal ones we find in SA. They had a bit more texture, unlike the overly blended beans we're used to. Chef's Kiss goes out to these beans! The potatoes - we weren't sure what the seasoning was, but we think it was adobo. Whatever the seasoning is, it puts them over the top as far as breakfast potatoes are concerned. Good stuff! Just a couple of notes: We didn't get tortillas with our breakfast. It might have been an oversight, or our meals didn't come with them. Not sure. The service was great, but depending on the server you get, you might need to know some Spanish. I give them 5 solid stars for breakfast.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. They have some interesting cocktails, such as their jalapeño cucumber margarita which is made with ghost pepper infused tequila. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
