The service here is always a cut above. Yes it's a chain, but in my mind I group it as a better fast casual chain, with in some respects even better quality ingredients and seating. Their coffees are great, especially the French Roast and Mochas. Their baguette is likely the most underrated in Metro Atlanta. I enjoy dining on their French Dip and Roasted Turkey sandwiches as well as their Holiday Feast whenever it's available in November and December. They staff are all seasoned and must have been there for many years. This is a true rarity in the industry. I enjoy the great care that they offer their customers. I'm here frequently.

Sad day for Madeline. They got rid of their sea salt baguette and instead replaced with a croissant I asked about it and they said that, indeed, the sea salt baguette has been discontinued. La Madeline is dead to me

After passing by la Madeleine soooo many times we finally decided to stop by for a late lunch. The food is OKAY. It taste good, but it's just not fresh. Service is okay as well. Not much interaction with staff other than ordering food in the counter, then they deliver to your table but service could be better. We tried: Chicken Cordon Bleu Baked Pasta: Gruyere, white cheddar and Parmesan cheese sauce over penne, chicken and diced ham. The better one out of the two entrees we tried, at least served hot. Balsamic Glazed Salmon: Balsamic-glazed salmon with rice Provençal and steamed broccoli. Tasted okay, rice was mushy and unfortunately served cold. Strawberry Nutella Crêpe: Strawberries and cream topped with drizzled Nutella, shaved chocolate and whipped cream. Definitely the best thing we had here! The restaurant itself looks really nice and clean, and theres plenty of parking!

I've driven past La Madeleine and it's always caught my attention so this morning I decided to check it out, The food here was good! It's very basic nothing too fancy! I give it a 3 not because it wasn't good just bc I most likely will not come back. They gave me my salad at the register and my food came out about 20 mins after The ambiance is nice in here it's very French

Absolutely love this cafe! Their Ham and cheese croissant is so good! Their lattes and hot beverage drinks are absolutely delicious. The food is always fresh and hot, made quickly, and they the staff are nice. They have their own parking and inside seating. I have tried a little of everything from their menu and have not been disappointed yet.

Terrible cooking today. Their highly rated French toast came looking like it was made by a child. Really heavy on the eggs, soggy, and not tasteful. Will NOT be ordering from here again.

Not bad, but is it truly a French restaurant, no. It's basically the Panera of French cuisine, but I'm okay with it. The croque monsieur was in need of more ham and cheese, the flavor was there but the contents were scarce. The coconut cream cake was delicious and the salad had way too much dressing. Ordered the French dip to go and they forgot the au jus, which made it a very dry ordeal. The service was fast and their workers are really friendly though.

I was tempted to try the blueberry cheesecake crepe, but it was a little too early for that. The service was good. Similar to Panera Bread, you get in line to order and take a number to sit down. The food will be brought out to you. We come here time to time typically for their coffee more than the meals.

Stopped by here for a quick breakfast with friends before catching our flight home. Breakfasts run about $14 per person.. well with coffee. I enjoyed the layout of ordering your food at a counter and then having it brought out to you once ready. This way you don't have to additionally wait for a waiter to take your order in the first place. I ordered a palmier, which are commonly known to us as elephant ears and was handed it at the counter along with empty coffee cups to fill ourselves as a separate station. That elephant ear was light and flaky, sweet and delicious. Speaking of those four things, so was the croissant that came with your meal. Coffee was decent considering the specialty coffee machine was out of order...I could have gone for a latte. I ordered the Country French Breakfast - Two eggs cooked-to-order (I got scrambled), Potato Galette, bacon or sausage & a butter croissant. Actually I ordered two of these, one for my husband as well. One was supposed to have bacon, the other sausage. When they both came out with sausage, it was no bother and we just kept it. As another reviewer mentioned, you could tell the scrambled eggs were scooped out of a previously cooked container, not made-to-order as it said they would be. I don't know what the hell was in that potato galette, but it was absolutely delicious. All in all, this was a great spot for breakfast and the perfect send off from our trip down south.

It has a relatively low rating but it's wayyyyy better than that for breakfast. In fact, the food is really good. Then again, I just get The American Breakfast, which for me is two scrambled eggs extremely well done, bacon, a croissant (French accent here), and something else but I don't remember what it is--despite being here twice. Yes, I brave the Georgia cold (no jacket/never a jacket) from a local hotel. I go through three parking lots, jump over a bush on a downhill slope, cross the street, then order American food from French people. It's quite an experience. I know I get a cookie to eat after but that's just a reward for my adventurous nature. Toast! That's what it is. Toast! Good toast! The reason for the 4 is two instances where the waiter-person (not sure if actually a waiter) wasn't friendly. However, everyone else who works here is super friendly--they even smile! So, maybe it wasn't the service. I think maybe it was that the eggs were super well done first time (a good thing) and slightly wet the second time (not good). Overall, recommended.

    It's a nice place

The food is good. Really good. Downside? They didn't give us menus when we walked in. And there was a line. On a Sunday. Expected I'm sure. But they should've had somebody collecting the menus that people took to read, once they had their food ordered, so they could be placed back for others to see. It really held up the line when people didn't know what they wanted, like me. LOL. I ended up getting the French toast that was made out a cinnamon rolls. Super super sweet. But super super good. I also wish that they had a notice on the door or some thing that said they were out of specialty coffees like cappuccinos and macchiato's, because the machine was broken. That was one of the big reasons we came here, so I settled to have to go without coffee because I didn't feel like having American style. All in all it was a good experience. Again, super busy, but the staff was very helpful and nice.

I love La Madeline but was disappointed with my recent visit.. I usually order an avocado toast and it has never looked like this. It had the thinnest spread of avocado I felt like I was eating straight bread.. highly recommend their fruit tarts and pasta! I love their avocado toast as well but it's not consistent. Cause I paid nearly $10 for this piece of bread?..

    Akira C.

It was my first time visiting. The line to order was long. I believe I got there a little before noon or right at. *Customer Service: pleasant staff *The Food: I ordered the strawberry romanoff French toast. I feel like it was more like eating dessert rather than breakfast b/c it was a cinnamon roll.. which if that was the case I would've just ordered dessert. It wasn't very filling which was disappointing because I would've liked to leave full or with my stomach nicely satisfied and it wasn't. *overall: I probably would got back to try some of the lunch items. Those seemed to look better than the breakfast.

The food is good and simple. This is not a 5 star restaurant but it gets the job done. About as healthy as any other place. Not fast food, the food is not fresh but frozen. Just like all corporate resturants.

The second time I came back we were greeted with a 30-min wait, which was expected due to the weekend and peak hour. But to our surprise we were actually seated within 15-minutes. While we waited, I used the restroom for the first time and it was clean and smelled fresh with cute decor. We were served with drinks right away and our server was very pleasant and accommodating. We looked at the menu beforehand, but last minute my husband and I decided to try recommended dishes. Here's our spread: Strawberry Short stack - 5/5 Sausage and egg biscuit with - 4/5 Cowboy omelette - 5/5 Chicken & Waffles - 5/5 Philly Fries Meal - 5/5 Bottomless Sweet Tea - 5/5 The pancakes were moist and fluffy with the right amount of sweetness. My daughter swore she'd eat the entire stack, but of course we knew otherwise. My mother in law enjoyed the sausage and egg biscuit, the sausage was a little more well done than she'd like but everything was seasoned well. The Philly fries were a surprise due to its massive size. My family demolished it. It was seasoned well with the right balance of meat, onions and cheese, my daughter wanted to it all by herself lol. The Cowboy omelette was also massive. The eggs cooked well stuffed with all the fixings - they definitely didn't skimp on it. Topped with fresh guacamole and salsa it was a delight. The chicken and waffles was recommended by our server and my husband was amazed by the whole dish. The balance of sweet and salty and the textures were perfect. The crunch of the chicken didn't take away from the moist meat. He created his "perfect bite" with a piece of chicken and waffles and it was heavenly. I'd definitely get it for myself next time. The waffle had a slight bite but also moist. I've experienced dry waffles before and this proved otherwise. Overall the experience was great. The service was excellent especially during a rush hour. Also we were very happy to see the Christmas decor. It really felt like a hometown feel and we enjoyed every minute. Definitely have Oy! on your list for brunch with the family! I'd visit once a week if I could.

We ordered a few different dishes including steak and eggs, French toast, pancakes with bacon, and a burger with fries. The steak was cooked nicely, but it was a little tough. The French toast was thick and tasty, but it tasted more like bread pudding to me--it wasn't as light and fluffy as traditional French toast. The pancakes were simple but good. Portions were generous and definitely filling. Overall, the food was good, but not quite as impressive as I had expected. I also wish their juice was fresh squeezed. Overall, it's a solid brunch spot, but with a few small improvements it could be even better.

We decided to join their waitlist online, which was a great choice--it significantly shortened our wait time, and we appreciated receiving a text when our table was ready so we could head right in. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, so I definitely recommend joining the waitlist or making reservations ahead of time if possible. I've heard they also have another location in Atlanta, Georgia, where parking is required and they offer specialty lemonades. The vibe here was really nice--great music, friendly staff, and beautiful decor. We especially loved the thoughtful touch of flowers on the tables in honor of Mother's Day. Our waitress was kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through the menu, including specialty items and pricing. For food, we ordered the shrimp and waffles, chicken tenders with waffles, and the catfish plate, which comes with two sides--we chose potatoes and eggs. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. We also tried their lemonades, which come in a variety of flavors like strawberry, pineapple, and blueberry, and they are refillable. The only downside for us was that they only offer bottled water--we would have preferred the option of having a regular cup of ice water at the table. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was flavorful, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Pricing is around $20+ per person. I just wish they had a location like this in Arizona!

They charge $5 for their croissant, which was where it falls short. If it were the best croissant I ever had, perhaps. No substitutions. Always hated this rule for every restaurant, but I get it if you have a special and hundreds of customers. We were one of 3 parties on a weekday brunch, super slow. We also ordered the traditional breakfast and a kids breakfast. But instead of bacon, we wanted a croissant for the kids meal. They are both $5 in the menu when ordered separately. First the server said they didnt know (weird) then said they would check and left for 5 minutes. The answer was no. So I paid an extra $5 and added a croissant. I ate the bacon, which improved my salmon Benedict. But neither the croissant nor bacon felt like $5. Kids meal is now the cost of a regular. So I recommend if you dont want any substitutions, try this place. I wont be coming back. It really irks me that you cant just put bread instead of bacon on a kids meal. You aren't a robot, and you are not busy. You are also not getting me as a patron anymore. P.S. the Croissant alone was not worth $5. I rate it a 3 out of 5 on its own.

We also discovered that the coffee is sourced from a small local roaster in Johns Creek, which fits perfectly with the restaurant's commitment to supporting local businesses. The dining area is somewhat small, but there is bar seating and outdoor seating available, which provides additional options. We also found out they have a second location in Johns Creek near our neighborhood, so we'll definitely be giving that one a try soon. Great food, excellent coffee, and a strong commitment to local sourcing make this a place worth visiting. We'll be back! BAM!

I rolled in there hungry enough to eat the bumper off a truck and ordered the meatloaf ciabatta sandwich with hand-cut fries, and sweet mercy... somebody's grandma must be back there running the kitchen because that thing was borderline life-changing. The meatloaf was thick, juicy, and had that "somebody's been perfecting this recipe since 1978" flavor going on. The ciabatta held it together like a champ, and those hand-cut fries? Lord have mercy. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside -- the kind you keep saying "just one more" until suddenly the basket's empty and you're thinking about ordering another. Now here's the real kicker: they've got gluten-free options, which means I can bring my wife this weekend without her looking at the menu like it personally offended her. That alone deserves a round of applause. So if you're anywhere near Buford and your stomach starts talking louder than your good sense, do yourself a favor and stop by. Just be warned: You might leave full, happy... and already planning your next visit before you even get to the parking lot.
