Im sorry to say this but I ordered a strawberry cup which was $16.00 dollars NOT WORTH IT AT ALL believe me when I say the chocolate they put on top is horrible in my opinion it smells like feet and tastes bad no shame to the ice cream though it's good. I went back inside and told the lady that the chocolate was disappointing and disgusting she looked at me and said that they couldn't give me MY money back!!!! The Dubai strawberry cup is also terrible I do not recommend this is a photo of the lady she also lied saying that she was the manger and ofc she refused to give me her name

    Corn & Hot Cheetos

I was craving hot Cheetos corn in a cup and decided to give this place a try. Tell me why it cost $7.99 for a small cup???!!!! That's insane they don't add cotija cheese so they charged me $1 extra to add it. This is way too expensive. The corn to mayo ratio is way off. I barely tasted any mayo. The mangonado was delicious though. The small cup cost $8.99. Not coming back ‍

Best burritos in the South Bay and in a hospital cafe? I was certainly intrigued when I heard about…read morethese famous breakfast burritos at Torrance Memorial. Social media is all abuzz with the talk about these breakfast burritos and when I was nearby, I decided to check it out. Torrance Memorial is huge and has several different cafes and restaurants. These burritos that are the talk of the town can be found at Helena's Cafe, located on the second floor of the West Tower. Helena's Cafe is not too big, so you'll instantly spot the area where the burritos are made. You will need to fill out a breakfast ticket order form. In the form you can choose your meats, toppings and tortilla wrap. Meat choices include turkey sausage, pork sausage, ham, bacon, hot link and deli turkey. Topping choices include tomato, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach and cheese. Tortilla choices are wheat or white. You can also have options of egg whites, 2 or 3 eggs or double meat. Breakfast burritos are $6.50. I chose to get a breakfast burrito with pork sausage, ham, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach and cheese in a wheat tortilla. I paired this with a Don Francisco coffee for $2.99. Overall the breakfast burrito was hearty and delicious. I loved the soft and fluffy eggs, the savory meats and fresh veggies. I added some of the tomatillo green and red salsa for some extra spice. All the flavors came together for a great burrito to kick off the day! I wouldn't call it the best burrito in town, but if I'm in the area, I'd probably grab one. It's tasty and a great deal, though I wouldn't go out of my way just for this. One thing to note is that these burritos are only available Mondays thru Fridays, until 9am. Overall, Helena's Cafe serves up a burrito that's solid and delicious. If you happen to be at Torrance Memorial or nearby, I'd definitely recommend checking it out. For the price and for you what get; it's worth the trying. Prescription for a perfect morning: burrito + coffee :)! (Rumor has it their pozole on Thursday is also good ;)).

A once lowkey hospital cafe, that has now gone viral due to it's delicious breakfast burritos?…read moreCrazy enough too that I also like hospital food. As a patient of the medical group, I had to come down and see if all the buzz on social media was true. And it was! First thing I want to say is you must get here before 9:50am. That is when they stop serving breakfast. I came around 9:30am and it was pretty empty. They open as early as 7:30am. The legend himself Jose, who is the chef on the grill was there. There are green cards on the front counter to complete your order. You fill it out and give it Jose. I ordered a turkey sausage burrito on wheat tortilla with tomato, bell peppers, cheese, spinach & mushroom. Sadly Jose informed me that there was no more turkey sausage. So I went with the ham instead. Also the burritos are pretty cheap, the wheat tortilla is $1 extra. The burritos took about 5 minutes to prep. I also ordered a fountain drink and rice krispie treat on the side. My husband ordered a pork sausage burrito with flour tortilla and tater tots on the side. I tried both the green and red homemade salsa and it was very tasteful. The red salsa definitely has a kick to it! But the green salsa is just right. I highly recommend checking this spot out ONLY if you are in the area or a patient in the hospital! Do I think it's worth a drive and going out of my way? No. But I definitely would come back if I am close by.

It came with a cilantro sauce as well as some pickled red onion. I also tried the turon pancakes which had slices of jackfruit on top to give it an extra Asian flair. They had a kids menu as well and lots of side options. There were lots of Korean-inspired dishes as well like Kim chi fried rice. There was an entire menu just for different breakfast burritos. The turon pancakes really tasted like the real caramelized turon. It had a nice sticky syrup on top that wasn't too sweet. The pancakes came super hot and were fluffy. The portion size was great. The cilantro sauce on the burrito was delicious. The pickled veggies added nice acidity that I appreciated. The bad: I don't know if there was any parking other than street parking. We parked right out front which was 1 hour parking and to the side is 20 minute parking. The interesting: You order and pay at the counter and the food gets brought out to you. I saw they had fresh cookies baked as well. Inside, there were festive balloons. I am not sure if it's always there or if they were from a special event. I've tried their catering company too and it was great! I really love how both the cafe and catering company use fresh flowers on their food to elevate their presentation.

Overall, would come back and be a regular. The staff is super nice too.

You can get an egg and cheese burrito in a hundred other places, seriously, eat the meat is my advice. The pork meat is so good, the green chili sauce and the red chili sauce are different but both are amazing in their own way. The red one has a wonderful spiciness from jalapenos and Japanese chilies. The green one is chilis from New Mexico, go half-half if you can't decide. And if you see Isaac -- is like being a part of his authentic family table. There are so many regulars already, but even as an occasional visitor, just makes my heart happy eating the food that's prepared with so much care and thought for how it will nourish someone's day. Isaac told us how the pork cuts are not frozen and he trims the fat by hand to make sure the flavor is there, but the finished dish is not greasy. Good food takes time! This man is one of the chefs that think, "ok, what tastes good, what's nourishing and good for you". And his recipes are all top notch because he hits all the steps and doesn't shortcut the ingredients. His food would not be as amazing if he skimped on the meat, you'd know right away, but he won't serve you anything that's subpar, that's how much he cares. Eating the food was like, wow, I feel that you care about how much my day just got better because your food fuels me up! The sauce on the tortillas, mmm...I just got hungry all over again. Take me back to LA!

The hubby and I had brunch here. The dining area only consists of 10 table and chairs. There is no AC and they have a fan blowing. Our brunches were mediocre. Hubby's meatloaf, mash/gravy, and veggies needed a lot of oomph. Seasoning for sure. My breakfast croissant was on fast food level. Tater tots were A-OK. Finally, for dessert my banana cream pie looked so sad. Not the Marie's of yesteryear. It was meh and needed more love. The service was actually fine. There are some nice people working here. Anyway, I would score them a 2.5 but round down to 2 stars.

Came in with a small group early on a Wednesday afternoon maybe an hour before closing, and most of the tables were still filled with diners. We were seated right away in the way way back of the restaurant. The layout and decor of the place gives it a classic, borderline kitschy vibe. You can tell it's a place that's managed to hold its own for like 60 years (!!!). The server was friendly, overall service was prompt, and the portions were solid. I got the quiche of the day, which was ham and cheese, and it was amazing. It came with a side (salad was fresh and crisp) and a muffin -- their raspberry streusel muffin was so delicious and a perfect dessert to tie the meal together. I would definitely get this special again, and look forward to trying their other versions of both quiches and muffins.
