Let me start by saying that I wasn't really hungry when I got here. We were sat immediately and I must say that the service was pretty good here! I ordered a ceviche de camarón, Ceviche Puerto Peñasco, and a 1/2 doz. of ostiones preparadas. They brought us the customary chips & salsa which were really good! The only drawbacks were that the waitress didn't give me enough ice in our drinks, but she later fixed that by bringing us a cup of ice only. The other thing was that the music playing was loud (which was ok), but it was the radio playing, so there were lots of commercials as well. That was kinda tacky. I was referred that I absolutely had to come try this place out from a guest at work. I told them I really wanted something authentic! We originally wanted to go to the Sahara location. However, it was closed down, and this gentleman standing outside the door told us to go to this location instead. It was quite a drive for us, so we said it better be worth it lol Oh and it was!! As we got seated, they had the mariachi band playing for the party in front of us, so we had a good view. The staff was super nice and helpful with any questions we had about the menu. I ordered the grilled octopus. I don't remember what my friend ordered, but It had every type of meat in there lol All I can say was that octopus was FIRE!!!! Absolutely delicious!!! I was so full, but I couldn't stop eating it! We did have a couple of the house margaritas. They weren't strong at all. So that's my only complaint. Food is Great. Any of the items food items taste amazing. No doubt. Customer service is excellent as well waiters and waitresses are friendly and kind. The restaurant is amazing clean great ambiance, Family Friendly and just a vibe. The only thing at the end when the check comes I notice they aren't honest. They charge a card fee. Restaurant should let the customer know there's a card fee. That wasn't the case when I went there. And mind Me this happened more than once's. Happened a few times. And all the times not once was there a sign saying We charge a fee for using the card. Manger was upset because My Dad let him know that he needs to put sign or let customers know of the fee. This is why I'm writing a review on this matter. Hope they change the fee situation. Take cash friends it would be easier. read more

This is my go-to spot for when I'm craving Caldo De Camaron or ceviche. I've only ever ordered from this restaurant for delivery and it's always arrived super fresh. I was hesitant to try and have it delivered to my house since it's about a 30 min drive but it was still perfect flavor when it arrived. Even the ceviche which I was most worried about was still super fresh and tasty. Most other restaurants that I've tried to order Caldo de Camaron has been very bland and used tiny shrimp that was freezer burnt. The soup here was fresh, flavorful, and the shrimp was big and full of flavor. The ceviche is also super fresh, at times it can be a little bland but I can usually fix that myself really easily. read more

I had been craving for some good molcajete ever since I moved to Vegas 3 years ago. I told my friend about my craving, and he introduced me to this place. Wow. First of all, walking inside made me feel like I just entered a restaurant somewhere in Mexico. The vibe was good. Our server was very friendly with a warm smile and welcoming voice. We started with some chips, and I said that the salsa wasn't warm enough. She said no problem. We also had some bean dip which was delicious. I asked for a burrito to which my friend (Hispanic) said there is a taco bell nearby (hahaha). The reluctantly brought out a burrito for me. Maybe they don't specialize in burritos, but mine was spot on. Topped off with some chili verde sauce, man that burrito was tasty. I have to edit my review of 5 starts down to 2 stars. I think they may be under new management because there have been a few changes to the menu and most obviously taste of the food. I ordered the pulpo zarandeado like I have done many times in the past; first, they bring me the wrong plate with shirmp. The waitress insists that that's what I ordered; the thing is I'm allergic to shrimp, so I'm extra careful with what I ordered and I've been ordering the same thing for years so I know how it looks and the name. What they bring me has a different name. But she kept saying that I ordered that and never apologized; instead she shifts the blame on me. They end up remaking my order. When it comes out it's tasteless and nothing like the many times I've had it. This time, the manager comes and lets me know that they changed the menu but kept the names. Best dishes are the oysters a la brasa (soy garlic tangy chili sauce on top), langostinos al ray (tangy butter sauce), camarones aguachile with avocado added (must be requested), fried whole fish, and rice/beans with fresh made tortillas! Ceviche, coctel de camarón and the molcajetes are also great. If you like spicy, ask for the habanero sauce. This location area is old, but I've never had any problems and have been coming here for years. On weekends you can pay for private music. Night on the town and found this gem! The wait time was a little long between 30minutes to an hour. But it was worth the wait. We ordered drinks and food right away we were so hungry. We ordered costa azul shrimp, small shrimp cocktail, mixta fajitas, homemade corn tortillas queso birria tacos, quesadilla with ham beans and rice. The food was really amazing! The waiter Yury, Diego and the server along with the service was beyond what we could of hoped for. I also had a cantarito with mezcal so tasty and a piña colada. This is a great restaurant, it's super high on value, simple in decor, and doesn't try to be anything it's not. The standout dish here is the seafood molcajete known as the Vulcan. It's a lava rock bowl, large, filled with various seafood in a spicy red sauce. It contains crab legs, mussels, octopus, prawns, and shrimp in a few different varieties, butterflied and wrapped in bacon shrimp were pretty good there. I don't recall the exact price, I think it was around 36 dollars, but my wife and I ate from the dish 3 times including at home. I have tried numerous dishes at this place on several occasions including whole fish, which were pretty good fried with octopus and shrimp on the fish, the skin was crispy and delicious and I don't like fish generally, with the exception of shellfish. I have also tried their seafood burrito and a few other dishes with prawns as well. I mentioned their octopus/pulpo several times as it really stands out as pretty tasty and they know how to prepare it in tasty sauces. Most of the staff and customers speak Spanish. I don't, and usually get by pretty well, as the wait staff have always been nice and helpful. Every time I eat here I wonder how they can provide such value for the cost in the middle of the desert. The place resides in a small strip mall and provides little appearance outside to make you notice what food wonders may exist inside. The service itself was always friendly and the place can get busy. It's a place to go when you want to enjoy tasty Mexican mariscos, not a place to impress with a fancy ambiance. read more

Wow Wow Wow! Talk about a great experience. The food was out of this world. I went to the restaurant in the middle of the afternoon so no wait and was an enjoyable atmosphere. I also asked the manager for a recommendation and he said he loved a seafood dish so I got both dishes. They brought out chips and salsa and beans. The beans were like none I have ever had. How could they taste sooo good. I wasn't sure if it was cheese or Chipotle or what but I would have been more than happy just eating them. I commented to the waitress how good they were. She said they make 1 large batch for the day and run out at some point because people like them so much. First up was this amazing seafood dish. What I liked was they were so generous on the various types of seafood and that the sauce wasn't too sweet just savory. Next up was the Molcajete combo. Shrimp, Beef, Chicken Cheese, and Cactus.
