Good lord . I try to write all that's wrong with this place & it's too damn long . Long story short . This place sucks , & the waitress was unattentive & even put our order in wrong . They only had 1 other table of 2 men in the whole place , so it's not as if they were too busy to care . Only thing I can say good is that the ambience was nice . Rosa's is a little hole in the wall on Jacksboro Highway. Not quite out of River Oaks, not quite to Lake Worth. You could almost miss it. I was desperately searching for a Topo Chico, which most places in FW have never heard of, and just decided to stop in. Several months later, I go once a week with my dad to eat breakfast tacos and roll around in delicious Topo Chico. They're so kind. It's a family run business. The food is phenomenal. When you want a home cooked breakfast but don't feel like cooking just stop by this place. Taste just like my mamas breakfast. Only downside is that they have limited parking and their horchata was good but it left this weird after taste in my mouth that lasted all day. My aunt said it might have been that they added too much vanilla. Idk but next time I'll pass on the horchata. The lady at the register was super nice and from the vibes I got from her she is liked by many. I ordered a burrito with eggs, bacon, potatoes, and beans and it was perfect!! For no more than $4 I walked out of this place satisfied. Will definitely be recommending this place to others. I really want to give this restaurant 4 or 5 stars because they are really really nice. However, I had the posole Mexican soup and it was super salty. To be clear, I love my food to be flavorful but in this case I think it was too salty. One of my friend had their breakfast and said it was good but she isn't really picky so I honestly I dont know if it was. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. I wouldn't get the posole again but I may try other things on the menu. One more thing, their prices are very reasonable. read more

I just went through the drive through in this rosas which was my first time at this location to get an ultimate breakfast taco and a Diet Coke .... The drink I received the cup was sooo sticky that I was afraid to put in my cup holder ... I asked for something to wipe it off and I got an eye roll and a napkin .... he ended up just pouring my drink into another cup .. ok great !! But then the taco I got was utterly mush ... very gross with some cheese sprinkles thrown on top ...I just threw it away ...sorry Rosas I love you but I will not be back to this location read more

This place is a MUST TRY. Don't come for the chic location or elegant ambiance. Come for the family-run Mexican cafe experience. The tortilla chips are made on prem as is the salsa. They are both outstanding. We ordered cheese tortillas and asked them to put a couple over easy eggs on there. They accommodated our off-menu request without hesitation. The queso in the cheese enchiladas was great. The over easy eggs were indeed prepared over easy. There's a slight upcharge for breakfast items after noon, but the menu prices are very affordable even with the upcharge. The wait staff was friendly, accommodating, and very responsive. read more

Stopped at Rosa's looking for authentic street tacos......pretty disappointing. Restaurant is in dire need of some repairs & deep cleaning. Ceiling lights & fans (home fans) were very dirty. The good: Friendly staff took my to-go order right away. Told her looking for street tacos (Carne Asada, cilantro and white onion) with an order of refried beans. Order came to just over $11.00 (not very good value). Once we got the order home the beans were above average and tasty tacos were below average but passable. (meat lettuce, tomato, some onion but no cilantro) This would not be a restaurant I would choose again as there are plenty of other wonderful Mexican restaurants in the greater Fort Worth area. read more

I recently stopped while browsing about Fort Worth. I arrived around 2:00, they close at 3:00. I was made welcomed without the sense that I was being rushed. I ordered the chicken fajitas which were out of this world. The chips and salsa served while waiting on my food was equally wonderful. I enjoyed talking with Rosa and her husband who is the main cook. I was happy to report to my daughter and son in law, that I had discovered this wonderful place. I just recently moved to TX from IN! My dad and I went back for breakfast a couple of months later and they claimed the Enchilada Montados wasn't on the menu, had never been on the menu, "this is the only menu we've ever had." So, my go-to was no longer available. I tried something else, I forget what, and I wasn't impressed. So, we quit going. I'm not saying I'd never go back. What is not to like about this place . The food is excellent. The prices are the best in town. The chicken enchiladas actually tastes like the chicken is spiced and grilled before being rolled up in the corn tortilla . The spices are incredible . I really haven't had anything that was bad on the menu. It is a quiet place nothing special but a good atmosphere . This is a family owned restaurant so if you want to eat there one must do it before 3 p.m. Because that is when they close . The chips and hot sauce are also excellent. They also have one of the best breakfast in town . Whether I like it or not I find myself going there at least two to three times a month and will continue to go back in the future. Enjoy. read more

Drive through sit down Mexican food is nice. It's better than taco Bell or anything like that. I like to order a quart of meat, rice, brand, cheese, salsa and chips, and tortillas. Only costs about $25-30 and feeds my family for about 3 days. The meals are real good too. read more
