have to get 4. That, or I could put all the ingredients from those two tacos I wanted into one big taco....which if I wanted that I would have asked for that initially. I think that's a weird recommendation or option they would offer instead of just letting me order the 2 individual tacos I wanted. I have never in my life in the US or Mexico ever been to a Mexican restaurant that functions like this. I was over breakfast at that point and ordered some enchiladas. The chicken was fine but it tasted and looked like they just opened a can of red sauce and dumped it all over. It looked like straight tomato paste so I had a few bites and left the rest. Rice and beans had no flavor. My son couldn't eat his cheese enchiladas due to the weird sauce as well. Chips were stale, salsa was fine. Overall one of the least impressive Mexican meals I've had in the DFW area. Unfortunately would not recommend.

Stumbled upon this place while waiting for my dog to be done at the groomer. Amazing breakfast tacos! I can't wait to go back and try more food. The staff was very kind and the place was neat and clean.

La Pasadita's bright blue with white trim building, is easy to locate with plenty of parking.

I found La Pasadita via Yelp: it's about a seven minute drive from our home. The translation means "the passageway" but this is not a narrow alley of foods. There was plenty of parking when we went there for breakfast during the week, but I think even on a busy weekend the parking would not be a problem. You can't miss it because of the bright colors. This immediately put me in a good mood and I was happy to find the color scheme extended to the interior as well. The dining room was immaculate. As you enter, rhumba to your right as you'll order at the counter. The staff is very helpful with regards to explaining ingredients and matching your hunger level to their delicious offerings. I was starving, so I had one of the breakfast plates and Frank opted for the smaller breakfast bowl. The restaurant was not crowded at 8AM but if crowded there are a variety of seating options from intimate to staff meeting. Our meals were delicious and I look forward to enjoying many more of the La Pasadita's tasty foods. Prices were in line given the quality of food and the South of the Border ambience.

As weird as it felt to me, decided to come here for a cheeseburger and fries, and it was surprisingly good.. First start with the fries (since they get eaten first to avoid getting cold and nasty lol). They were very hot, so a few minutes to cool off before I actually ate them.. They were cooked perfectly fine with seasoning salt, making them have a good flavor, though at the end of the day, fries are fries, so nothing exceptional or bad. Then onto the burger. The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The veggies on it tasted fresh, and while I didn't like that mustard was served on the side instead of on the burger, it was very much a solid burger. The service was also good. The cashier was beautiful and helpful (first time going there, so walked me through the menu, most popular items, etc) so seemed to enjoy her job. Also, unlike many places, the restroom was really clean, as was the rest of the restaurant. I def want to go there for tacos sometime, but just had a craving for burgers

The Mexican Style Shrimp meal is one to die for. ( Chamarones A La Mexicana) And the service are friendly and excellent. I highly recommend this dish and others. For the weekends try the Menudo.

I was craving good menudo. I am so glad I came here! 10/10 recommend! So delicious, best customer service and great music! You place your order at the counter then they will give you a number and they will bring out the food for you. They have bottled drinks as well as self serve soda station.

As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted with "hello" and "welcome". Great menu options, I decided to go with the migas. Great choice. The food was delicious. Tasted like my mama's home cooking. Everything was perfect - the migas (corn fried tortillas, egg and cheese), potatos (papas) and refried beans. I wasn't crazy about the salsa but maybe I'm used to CA chunky style salsa. Regardless won't reduce my 5 star rating! Thank you for the delicious meal!

Ordered to go, food was prepared quickly and delivered nicely packed. Maybe it was just what we ordered, but I definitely don't get the authentic vibe. It seems very american washed, not a ton of flavor, the queso is just like store bought nacho cheese... food was still good but definitely was not traditional mexican. Would try something else if we ever order from here again but not sure.

Tucked away in a neighborhood in the White Settlement area close to Lockheed Martin is this little restaurant that is worth a visit. I ordered the special of the day: fajita plate. There is quite an extensive menu on the wall to peruse, but my gut always tells me to order the special of the day. Why? Traditionally the special of the day is going to be fresh and abundant. They have invested in it, whatever it is, so I should too. I was not disappointed. The plate was brought to my table, and it was loaded with three different meats: beef, chicken, and shrimp. Plus, you got the requisite beans and rice with a bonus of a grilled jalapeno! The rice was not the normal Americanized version of Spanish rice, but it was the real Mexican rice. Now, that's what I'm looking for at a Mexican restaurant. The flour tortillas were delicious, as well, without the plastic taste of warmed up Mission Tortillas (sorry Mission). Another bonus was that before you select your seat, you can belly up to the warming bin and fill a basket full of warm chips and salsa. The salsa was fresh with a nice kick to keep you awake as you eat all those carbs. The best bonus of all: Ding, Ding, Ding=the other customers! The place was covered in military personnel, which provided plenty of eye-candy to satisfy my sweet tooth! HeeHee! Anyway, that's my side of the menu~ read more

Chorizo-egg w/cheese plate, beans, potatoes and flour tortillas. Been coming here for years now the food is good great mexican style egg tacos and great salsa. Ladies at the cashier are always nice and friendly, sunday was my last day ever going there... seen the manager come out the bathroom with a cook around closing time. maybe its not what it seems but i cannot was also in there for minutes.no thank you read more

After reading all the review on La Pasadita website, I decided to give this restaurant a try. Close to my home. 15 minutes from my home. I ordered 3 Tacos, 2 Chicken, one Brisket and Guacamole. The tacos are SO TASTY AND AMAZING!!! Guacamole is so fresh! Their servings are very generous. Quick services take out with an email conformation. I will definitely be back to order take out. Great breakfast and really good menudo! I'm pretty picky with menudo, most places do not do a great job at making it. Here they do a great job! Their tortas are great and you will not leave hungry. They close pretty early, but I think it makes you appreciate it all the more. Definitely recommend. read more

Let me start by saying I am a Mexican food snob. I am super picky and generally unhappy with most meals I get. This place - what an exception!! The alambre was probably the best Mexican food I have had in Texas. The flavor was spectacular, and the veggies were perfect. The rice and beans were just ok, but no one is going to eat them anyway once they try the meat! I highly recommend this place, and I'll be coming back every time I come through. Oh - I almost forgot. Another perk? The wonderful lady behind the counter. She clearly likes her job and was very helpful for us first-timers. read more

For the best Mexican food in White Settlement, this is the place you wanna go! It's just a block north of the intersection of Clifford and Las Vegas Trail and it almost looks out of place but that's ok with me. They've got a small dirt/gravel lot to park the the entrance is this super large door. Interesting setup, but once you get inside, turn right and order at the counter. Menu is posted up on the wall. They do take credit card and once you order they'll bring out your food. Chips and salsa complimentary for dine in. Salsa taste fresh and the chips are crisp but a little too bland for me. Needed a little more kick, salt or lime. The street tacos looked really good and my friend liked hers, I got the alambre which is just a smorgasbord of meat served with a side of rice, beans and tortillas. I ended up just making 4 tacos with it and it was fantastic!!! Good flavors and food was made with love and the prices here are super affordable!! I also came here a few days later to grab a breakfast taco to go. At 7:30 am, there were a few people already there waiting for their to go orders. I got a bacon breakfast burrito and added potatoes which ended up being $5.41. After unwrapping this beast, it does come packed with eggy delight. Potatoes were tender and bacon was just right. I always like to pour tobasco or any vinegary hot sauce on my burritos and this was worked well with tobasco. Definitely kept me stuffed through the day! I will be back! read more

I live in white settlement, and i hesitated for about Two years after it was built to try it out because i didnt want to be disappointed in case it was white-washed mexican food. The location is weird and new to me in a way that its a few blocks off the main road into a residential neighborhood. But i have come to love it! The food is ON POINT, price is decent considering you get some tasty fries included with a lot of menu items. The service is impeccable, after a short wait ( depending what time you go in ) they bring it to your table along with two VERY tasty sauces. Im mexican and i love all sauces, but these hold #2 in my heart! Not spicy in a sense of hotness but rather a pleasant addition to whatever you are eating. It has some kick but nothing like you'd expect, its FLAVORFUL. The torta is to die for, its a VERY GOOD SIZE, for the price and its so so good. The inside is very pretty, it is small, i believe they have 1-2 long tables jn the back but otherwise these tables fit about 4 people two on each side. The layout is well thought out, you go in, and basically move counterclockwise! You enter, turn right, order, then move left go to drink station ( with standard soft drinks and three delicious sugary drinks! ) then the tables are all on the left of the drink station, and they wrap around the small restaurant , at the end is the same doors you entered through. My girlfriend and mom both absolutely loved the vibes, decorations, layout, and food! And my mom is certainly picky about mexican food considering she loves to cook! We had the beef fajitas and it was fantastic! The meat was so tender and the quality of the beef was exceptional. I loved the fact that it was cut up into thick slices. The sides of refried beans and rice plus guacamole were tasty as well. We had it delivered and they took such great care to have everything perfect when we received it on time. Best breakfast burrito I've had in dfw, I love the chorizo and add potatoes. Wife doesn't like meat so we share the Mexican style breakfast burrito sometimes, has tomatoes, onions and jalapeños. Yes almost big enough to share one but get your own and have a full happy tummy. Price is right also. Only thing I don't like is they charge u a dollar to make an online order now for some reason so call and order is my advice. Also red sauce and green sauce are on point, both are great. It's like a house in a neighborhood but definitely recommend trying it. read more

The food and salsas are really delicious but feel a bit expensive after seeing that their wall menu's prices have clearly been taped over multiple times. The depressing reminder of inflation is easily forgotten though after bitting into one of their burritos. It's usually pretty fast too being a counter order restaurant. read more

Good food. Good prices. Kind of an odd setup vs. what I was expecting. You walk in, place your order, pay, and they give you a number, kind of like Whataburger. I had the chicken enchilada plate w/ verde sauce. Three decent sized shredded chicken enchiladas with a nice green sauce on them. I forgot to order tortillas for the rice & beans, but they went well with the chips and a little salsa. The salsa had some heat to the spice. After you order, you get your own drink, chips, salsa, etc. The food wasn't "wow!" good, but it was definitely "I'd go back if I were in the area" good. :) read more

I am so glad that we stopped by La Pasadita! This may be one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ate at in Texas. I ordered the breakfast burrito with a side of potatoes as well as chips with salsa and guacamole. Portions were generous, food was excellent, and to top it off the staff was friendly. I was taking my sister-in-law out for her birthday brunch, and I had selected the place and have never been more embarrassed. We had a reservation and showed up there and didn't get seated until 15 minutes after arrival even though the place wasn't busy at all. They told us to wait while they clean the tables which took 15 minutes but once we got escorted to our seats, they asked us to wait to sit down so they can wipe out the table. It took us another 15 minutes to finally place our orders. The waitress Bonnie was really nice enough to let us know that they were shortstaffed. However, there was barely anyone they were waiting on, but also there were at least three servers wiping out windows and doing other random things that could've been used towards serving. We ordered very simple things for brunch and when our food arrived, it was the most hideous looking plates I had ever seen in my life. My fiancé is chicken fried steak plate showed up without the steak. My brother-in-law's plate had the saddest looking hashbrowns. And don't even get me started on the eggs. Every single person's eggs were raw. And by raw, I mean actually running raw where you touch the egg and it explodes into translucent gelatinous liquid that made all of us wanna throw up. When Bonnie saw that I hadn't touched my egg and asked if I wanted a different cooking I told her I'm fine but she said she would be OK with getting me a different egg since I looked absolutely mortified. But when the new egg arrived, it was also the exact same. The only thing that was cooked was the top and the bottom. Everything in the middle was translucent. And don't get me wrong. I love my over medium eggs and sunny side eggs where the white is cooked, but the yellow is raw, but this was a case where the entire egg was raw and that was the case with every single one of our eggs. I really don't quite understand how as a brunch place you have one job is to cook eggs right and you fail so miserably at that. We ordered the French bites for the table and reminded our waitress three times that we hadn't received them and While getting the check. She was shocked that they still hadn't arrived and was still trying to get us to wait until they arrive when we told her no don't worry about it. Please remove it from the check cause we're done eating and no longer want any more disappointment. The last straw was us ordering the mini pancakes from the kids menu for our three year-old and the plate showing up with five giant pancakes. That right there is what's wrong with America. What if healthy parents do not want their three-year-old to have the opportunity to finish five large stacks of pancakes. All of us felt terribly sick after eating those raw eggs and literally could not stop talking about how terrible this experience was. I have literally never seen my brother-in-law not finish his meal no matter how nasty it is. And for him to not eat, the rest of the eggs was absolutely telling.

The chicken cutlet used was thin compared to the thick fried version it had before, everything was a bit beige, and a rather small serving of hash browns accompanied it. I had a standard black coffee alongside it which tasted a bit watered down and my partner has commented that the speciality coffees are not as good as they used to be. Other new additions to the menu aren't exactly what you would expect, for example the Monte Cristo is more a deconstructed version of the Bennigan's classic but it's not obvious unless your waiter tells you. The price is typical of downtown but the food doesn't rise to the occasion and the value proposition for me isn't enough to come back unless something changes. Thats not to say the food is all bad, but seeing what it was prior to their menu change, it's just uninspiring for the price. The service however has remained top tier and every time I have gone I've had fantastic service regardless of if it's a Sunday morning with a hour long wait or a quiet weekday lunch.
