Our waiter was super friendly and gave us great recommendations. Food-wise, we ordered an appetizer and 2 entrees. The calamari was well seasoned with not too much breading and came with two dipping sauces. The vodka sauce rigatoni was delicious, and of course, we got the burrata on it! The burrata added a lovely creaminess, which paired really well with the red pepper flakes they provided. Finally, we chose to also get the burger. I've had this restaurant bookmarked for what feels like forever and finally got to try it out last night! Had a little belated galentines with two of my best friends and overall vibes and food was *chefs kiss* We ordered: the spicy limoncello margarita! My friend recommended it and said it was their best cocktail on the menu and it did not disappoint. The drink takes you on a taste journey - you're hit with the sweet, sour with subtle spice undertones . Soo good! Appetizers: calamari - crispy and perfect paired with a delicious spicy aioli sauce. We also ordered the meatballs which were delicious and served in a nice tomato sauce. Pasta: I ordered the Garganelli since I saw that's what mostly everyone recommended and now here I am highly recommending! I was a bit scared that I'm not super crazy about mushrooms in my pasta.. but the sauce was incredible paired with the arugula pesto! I think it really is definitely one of their best pastas. I also got to try what my friends ordered, their famous rigatoni in vodka sauce (one of the best vodka sauces I've ever tasted) and the Gramigna, also just as goood! Came here while hanging in the city. Our usual spots were not available, but this place took walk ins. For me personally, the pasta and their margaritas, were great. Highly recommend, but the appetizer is where my wife and I disagreed on. She loves Brussels sprouts. We ordered the appetizer, and even though they were perfectly cooked, they were way too sweet for me. I just couldn't get past the sweetness. Great place to pop in for lunch while you're shopping in Soho! The cacio e pepe fritters were one of the most delicious things I've ever had. They are little crispy balls where the inside was almost like a croqueta with just the flavor of cheese and pepper- they are addicting! I got the rigatoni with stracciatella which was very good, the portion size is pretty decent and the pasta was perfectly al dente. It came nice and saucy, and our server grated a good amount of fresh Parmesan on top tableside. We didn't get the burger but saw it going by a lot and it looked absolutely delicious. There was a nice selection of Italian wines available to pair with our menu, and they were running a great deal where you could get a bottle of their house rosé for $25 and could take the remainder with you if you didn't finish with your meal. My son treated us for lunch here today, being that we were in the city. very cute. Charming restaurant with not a big menu but a nice menu. very impressed with the food. The appetizers of fried calamari and roasted cauliflower were delicious. Me and my son had the farro salad me with salmon and my son with chicken both were out of this world. During a work trip in NY my team selected this restaurant for dinner and I'm so glad that they did! For dinner I ordered the Branzino (spinach, olives, meyer lemon) from the Main selections. It was delicious! Prepared well and fresh. Everyone else loved their entrees as well. Fabulous service! And then when we thought it couldn't get any better (because we really didn't have much space in our tummy's left), we decided to order up dessert - one of everything including expresso gelato (not pictured). The vibes at the Soho location are absolutely immaculate. We made reservations for Thursday night at 7:30. I recommend getting a reservation. It was decently crowded and the tables are kind of close together but we didn't mind. The windows were all open which allowed for a comfortable breeze. What we ordered: my friends have been telling me about the lemon cello margarita so obviously I had to get it. It is definitely worth the hype. I wanted to try some thing else so I got the lavender spritz as well. It was good but I wish I would have stuck with the margarita. I wasn't feeling super hungry so I got the Cacio e Pepe fritters. This was my favorite meal that I had in New York, and the price was so affordable I was shocked! I was looking up Italian restaurants in the area and had seen this the night before, and immediately fixated my eyes on the rigatoni with creamy sauce and fresh burrata. Coincidentally it was San Gennaro Italian food festival in the little Italy area, and after walking through all the street, food vendors, and realizing that pasta was not an easily accessible option, I looked up how far we were from this restaurant, and was excited to see it was less than a quarter mile. They sat us almost immediately and we had a nice indoor outdoor vibe going as our table was right on the patio, but the large garage sale door that also served as the restaurant wall was open so it was a blended feeling. And we sat facing outward people watching, it almost felt like we were really in Italy. We tried the ricotta honey appetizer, the rigatoni, and the brussels sprouts. All of them were incredible. Important to note that it is written kind of small on the menu that if you want to include the burrata on your pasta dish, it has to be ordered separately, as there is a $6 upcharge. We didn't notice it at first and had to add it on later.. So worth it. Literally this was the best rigatoni I've ever had. And the brussels sprouts were also amazing, crispy and crunchy, but sweet and delicious and just the perfect blend for the meal. Ambience and food were amazing. The waiter made us extremely uncomfortable, Jesus casually asked us if we wanted cheese on our pasta as we ordered and didn't tell us it was 6 dollars extra. We figured that out on our bill when our meal was 50 dollars each. I only got a soda and chicken parm. The chicken parm had about 4 noodles, VERY small portion, and the chicken was good, however way too small of a portion for how expensive it is. Extra perk is that we sat near David Blaine and got to see him perform a magic trick! We got some drinks, lovely. The gin menu was great! As for the food. Appetizer were Roasted Cauliflower and Fried Calamari. They were both delicious and can't go wrong with a lightly fried calamari. Main dishes were Pork and Beef Tagliatelle and Cacio e Pepe Bucatini w/burrata. This is where I think the experience could have been much better. I thought the Tagliatelle pasta would be wider, the sauce was overly salty. I really couldn't finish it and had to take it home to add more pasta sauce to it. The Bucatini was also quite salty but not as much as the tagliatelle. Not much to write home about, Unfortunately other than the two main dishes we tried, the place was great. I'm a big, big fan of Italian food and love trying out new Italian spots whenever I'm traveling. I was in NYC visiting one of my best friends who is obsessed with La Pecora Bianca and after telling me about it, I knew we had to go. When we arrived, I fell in love with the place- the atmosphere was great, the restaurant was beautiful and the service was phenomenal. I ended up ordering the cacio e pepe bucatini (my favorite pasta) with burrata and my friend ordered the rigatoni with vodka sauce and straciatella, and we also got calamari to share. Guys, all three plates were insanely delicious. I dream of going back to the city just so I can eat there again! Even though the host said the bar was open seating, the bartender didn't like where I chose to sit, then proceeded to ignore me... the restaurant was not noticeably busy, and when new guest joined the bar he was on it. I went here with my daughter and I absolutely loved it. It is quite small so you might not get a place to dine so easily. We ordered tagliatelle beef and pork bolognese and spaghetti with pomodoro sauce, and basil. I had a glass of chardonnay with this as well which was delicious. The restroom is downstairs so you can see what the semi-private room is like - you can have a large party and have some privacy. The food here is so good. My main complain is that when the door opens you feel the cold air from the outside. Also, we had a lot of bags from shopping so I felt like I as in the way of the wait staff. We were able to take our time and have a nice dinner together. This restaurant has gotten it right through all of its locations! I'll keep trying them all! Reviewing this restaurant slipped through the cracks since I had brunch here with my friend about 3 months ago. I made an OpenTable reservation and when I arrived, my friend was already situated at one of the many outdoor tables. The ambience was very appealing and there were those patrons who were dining indoors--however, their ceiling to floor windows remained open. I started by selecting the Aperol Spritz which was very good while my friend stuck to wine. For appetizer, we shared the Panelle. For those unfamiliar, Panelle is Sicilian and made from chickpeas. Typically they're flat, square and assembled into a delicious sandwich with ricotta cheese, but theirs were shaped into sticks with a side of Harissa aioli. It was deep fried but not greasy and a must try. For main brunch selection, we both chose the Cacio e Pepe Eggs Benedict. I asked for the prosciutto to be eliminated from my dish. When it arrived, two perfectly cooked poached eggs sat on top English Muffins adorned in a creamy black pepper and cheese dressing. A side salad was the perfect accompaniment. La Pecora Bianca was a wonderful restaurant to kick back and catch up with my friend. The seating was spacious and we didn't feel rushed to leave. I'd like to return for dinner. The waitress told us that our entrees would take about 25 minutes (we came also when it was empty) so we ordered an appetizer too. Whipped ricotta ($17): honestly my favorite dish. The truffle honey was the highlight Toscano salad ($18) with salmon ($9): the salmon was crispy and cooked well, and the salad was a decent size. I do wish there was more besides kale, but it was still delicious Linguine nere ($28): just okay. I rarely post reviews and always try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt. But last night was disgusting. To start, the corner booth table all got up in frenzy because of a roach (in the dead of winter). The food really sucked. We go to Lupa, Via Carota, Babbo, Carbone, Cibo e Vino, Piccola Cuccina and the whole bevy, and the quality is so inferior to these other places I can hardly put it into words. My fiancée was looking for a nice carb pre NYC half meal. On the way back home, her stomach was hurting and we barely got home at which point she was sick..and she has the strongest stomach you can find. I called and left a message on their voicemail. Was drawn to the appealing outdoor dining setup and fancy structure of the restaurant. Did not expect a mix of the Mediterranean and Italian food experience. But Italian won the hearts of myself and my friend. The Cacio E Pepe fritters came out first. My curiosity grasped at how they could stuff Pecorino Romano cheese and black pepper pasta into a battered ball. Whadaya know? It works just like how you would experience that satisfying melty texture of digging into a chocolate lava cake, but this time it's with cheese. The Bucatini (cacio e pepe spaghetti) was well crafted and balanced, a good use of olive oil to make the flavors pop. My only wish was for more cheese to envelop the noodles, but that's just me being ambitious as I do love cheese. What New Yorker doesn't? Next up, dessert - The olive oil cake was moist and had a nice citrus tart to end the night of a filling meal. My only regret was I didn't order this cake as I snagged some from my friend. My dessert was the Chocolate Budino as I enjoyed the chocolate portion of the dessert more than the crispy toppings that came with it. Too much toppings and I felt I had to work so hard to get to the best part. Only complaint from my end. came here to eat alone and the hostess was nice enough at first, but something felt off. i walked in with headphones on and just wanted to sit down outside and eat, but they sat me all the way at the very end of the outdoor seating area. like literally the last table outside. what made it feel weirder was that all the white families were seated closer to the front, and there were at least 10 empty tables between me and them. i don't know if it was intentional or what, but the separation felt really noticeable and kind of isolating. i also had a matcha with me from blank street and the hostess told me i needed to finish it or throw it out before sitting since they don't allow outside beverages, which i did. but then i saw a new group with drinks from another café get seated shortly after, and no one said anything to them. no one really checked on me after i was seated, or asked how my food was or came by at all. overall it was just a weird experience, would not recommend read more

My friend and I were looking for a chill brunch spot. Hanging out and walking around Soho, we came across La Pecora. We haven't been to the restaurant since covid. We were able to walk in and get a table, but when we left the place had filled up. Recommend getting a reservation or getting there on the earlier side. We chose to sit indoors thanks to the cold weather, but we felt safe given the good social distancing, disinfecting, and everyone was wearing face masks. Food was very tasty and service was good. The place and food wasn't anything fancy but it was a very good meal. I ordered the frittata and my friend ordered the eggs Benedict. We also shared the zucchini fries. My favorite restaurant in the city with the best tiramisu. We get the gramigna with the broccolini and sausage. It hits EVERYTIME. The brussel sprouts are coated in flavor and a little sweet but not a bad thing we like sweet and savory. The whipped ricotta is on the pricier end but they give you extra bread if you ask!! And the tiramisu is a must have!!we typically request it in a to go bowl so we can put a lid on it and take it since it's a big portion. Despite there being "nicer" outdoor seating available under a covered patio, we were first seated at an uncomfortably small table practically in the middle of the sidewalk (why even have these?). After asking, we were moved. For appetizers, we ordered the fried calimari and mozzarella in carrozza. The calimari was cooked really nicely (nice bite, not that chewy), but I wasn't a huge fan of its light-but-kinda-dry breading. The tomato sauce was great. The mozzarella in carrozza had a really nice texture but could've used more mozzarella (it's a small amount placed on the diagonal cut of the bread, rather than going completely through). For mains, we got the garganelli (mushroom pasta) and mushroom frittata. The garganelli dish was very good; the pasta had a nice bite, the mushrooms were flavorful, and the sauce/pesto were nicely done. The mushroom frittata with arugula salad was good too, although it felt somewhat plain at times. We came in for early dinner. the restaurant is big and very empty. just few tables were occupied. So honestly I was really surprised when they sorted us next to the occupied table . and keep in mind the tables are so close to each other, so you are basically touch elbows with your neighbouring table. meanwhile the tables around us were empty. we asked to give us another table, and in response we heard- " Please seat here". I didn't like that at all! The waiter was nice and polite, they brought our food pretty fast. We ordered some appetisers, which were good, and some pasta and Branzino filet .
