This was my first time going to La Pecora Bianca and I ordered off their lunch restaurant week menu($30 for an app and entree). Went on a Friday and it was pretty busy so I would definitely recommend getting a reservation for here. For apps we got the Whipped Ricotta, Farro Salad, and Meatballs. I would rank them in that order too!! The whipped ricotta had a honey chili flavor that paired perfectly with each other. The Farro Salad is definitely one of the best salads I've tried. The combo of the different ingredients surprised me (like grapes) but it added a nice sweetness to the salad. The apps were delicious but the entrees weren't so good. The rigatoni and gramigna pasta was too hard and wasn't cooked enough so it was hard to eat. There wasn't really any flavor to the gramigna. Overall the restaurant is nice with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. I really liked the apps but was disappointed by the actual entrees.

I made reservations for a Sunday afternoon the day before and had no trouble finding availability. The restaurant is quite spacious, with plenty of indoor seating. There's some outdoor seating as well, though it feels like it's practically on the sidewalk. The food was good overall--not the best I've had, but definitely enjoyable. The cauliflower with aioli was the standout dish, with excellent flavor and seasoning. The pasta was tasty, but it was a bit too oily for my preference.
My friend made a reservation for the four of us and the good thing about this place is that they will see you even if you're full party isn't there. One of our friends gluten-free so it was very nice that they were able to offer that option without cross contamination and without charging extra for that pasta. Our service was very nice and attentive. I wasn't fond of the fact that they don't have refills for their drinks, such as iced tea; maybe it was as close on the menu and I didn't see it, but I was indeed surprise when I was charged for two iced teas because I got a refill. The pasta was not my favorite. The sauce was a bit bland for my taste and so was the shrimp. The pasta itself was al dente and very well cooked. I wouldn't come back here again, mostly because of the taste of the food itself. Again, attention was very nice, but it's just not even close to the best pasta place you can find in the city.
Despite the fact that I normally obsessively plan every morsel of food we consume whenever we go on any sort of trip or frankly step out of the boundary of our property, our visit here was unusually spontaneous. We were "walking around and looking at the buildings", which is my mom's favorite hobby, with the dogs and needed place that not only would allow the dogs but also had heating lamps. This place crossed our path and had both. Bingo. I ate complete trash the night before and wanted something a little lighter and kinder on the waistline. I was pleased to see some salads on the menu. I went with the kale one, it had carrots and ricotta and a very refreshing dressing that was applied with just the right amount of dressing:ingredient ratio. I ate it in its entirety and felt good about myself afterwards. My mom ordered the brussels sprouts salad which also caught my eye. I had a forkful. Also very enjoyable. GF ordered the burrata for us to share and the scrambled eggs with a lovely hunk of sourdough, arugula, and bacon we gave to the dogs. I would ask her how it was but she is not answering my text messages promptly and I will not wait for a reply. The burrata, which I sampled of course, was delicious, as burrata tends to be. They do a sweet flavor combo with figs and probably balsamic something, I think there were pistachios. I tend to prefer a savory profile with my cheeses but given how common these sweet dishes are I guess I have an unpopular opinion. I got a cocktail that was delicious and strong enough that I (haven't taken a nap in literal years) felt compelled to nap when we arrived home from the city. Service was also excellent. Can't complain.

We only came for a sweet treat, but enjoyed our visit here! We stopped by in the middle of the afternoon and the space was still bustling with people and energy. We got seated outside and it was pleasant enough under the canopy. Table was super small so I wouldn't expect eating a huge meal here, but for us, we shared one dish and it was fine. The tiramisu was huge. We didn't expect it to be that big and it took a lot to finish it, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Good size, tasty, and such a cute design over the top. I would gladly return just for the tiramisu honestly - thanks, La Pecora Bianca!
I've definitely heard mixed reviews on this place, but I honestly had an incredible experience. The service was speedy, which was especially impressive considering how busy the restaurant was. The atmosphere of the store was lively and bustling. It was decorated beautifully, with warm lighting and plenty of seating. The food was delicious and great quality. I enjoyed how rich the meatballs were, paired with crispy pieces of bread and a thick pomodoro sauce. All the pastas I tried were well-done, with flavorful sauces and chewy noodles. I particularly enjoyed the rigatoni with burrata. The burrata added a nice, creamy addition. I thought the broccolini was another solid dish, with freshness from a touch of lemon. I really enjoyed the food here and would absolutely come back!
I came here back in August for my birthday. My co workers had been here before but it was my first time. I had such an amazing time. The food was delicious, the drinks were yummy, and waiter was soooo funny. I wish I remember their name. I can't wait to go back!!
My cousin came into town and wanted to try the sheep tiramisu. For a chain Italian restaurant, the food wasn't bad. Service was friendly and attentive. The food came out fairly quickly. The pasta was fine, and the veal was decently cooked. The zucchini fries came with a nice marinara sauce. The tiramisu was light and not too sweet. If you're in the area and want to try an Instagram fad for dessert, this would be the place for you.
pretty good pasta for a chain! we made a reservation so we didn't have to wait for a weekend lunch/brunch. def suggest doing that. the gramigna has sausage and broccolini, both of which i love, so it was great. my big complaint with italian places is that that pasta is sometimes too salty. this was not that salty and pretty yummy! would come back to try the tiramisu
Pasta was pretty good as well as the tiramisu. Besides that it was fairly average and very expensive. Place is very cute!
Came for restaurant week and it was so delicious! I was in between getting the rigatoni or gramigna and ultimately I decided to get the gramigna since my SIL was going to get the rigatoni anyways. That way, we could try both. I'm so happy I did. I really liked the pasta that they used, the texture was really nice. The flavor of the sausage was also really good. The rigatoni was also delicious, can never go wrong with such a classic pasta dish. My SIL said she would come back for the rigatoni and that's a good sign bc she loves Italian food! Meatballs & little gem Caesar were the perfect starters. I like how the meatballs came w bread bc you can dip it in the sauce. Sooooo flavorful!!! The lettuce in the salad weren't cut up into small pieces and surprisingly, I actually liked it like that! Of course had to order a side of fries and they were perfectly seasoned and shaped just the way I like (I love when my fries are skinny and crispy) Cannolis were okay. Not usually a fan of them Overall, very delicious food. And I would come back! My waiter was really nice as well and the food came out in a timely manner

Stopped by for a quick brunch while in SoHo. There were quite a few people, but the space is large, so we were seated quickly. Despite there being "nicer" outdoor seating available under a covered patio, we were first seated at an uncomfortably small table practically in the middle of the sidewalk (why even have these?). After asking, we were moved. For appetizers, we ordered the fried calimari and mozzarella in carrozza. The calimari was cooked really nicely (nice bite, not that chewy), but I wasn't a huge fan of its light-but-kinda-dry breading. The tomato sauce was great. The mozzarella in carrozza had a really nice texture but could've used more mozzarella (it's a small amount placed on the diagonal cut of the bread, rather than going completely through). For mains, we got the garganelli (mushroom pasta) and mushroom frittata. The garganelli dish was very good; the pasta had a nice bite, the mushrooms were flavorful, and the sauce/pesto were nicely done. The mushroom frittata with arugula salad was good too, although it felt somewhat plain at times. Service was attentive, and I liked the atmosphere (which featured mostly French music, for some reason). Overall, solid food for the price point, but don't expect to be blown away. read more

This place is the cutest Italian place! We had a reservation for dinner on Sunday and it was packed. Their Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon are unique and great tasting. For starters, we ordered the calamari and cacio e pepe balls which were both delicious. I especially liked the cacio e pepe balls because the filling was rich and flavorful. For entrees, we ordered the squid ink seafood spaghetti, gramigna pasta (curly pasta), tagliatelle and NY strip steak. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and I especially liked the gramigna. All of the pasta tasted fresh and I loved that the portions were generous also! read more

Super clean and fresh space, popular enough that you won't be the only ones in the restaurant but still easy enough to get a table. Would suggest making a reservation even on weekdays for the dinner rush, but can be done the day of. The menu features a range of classic dishes done well but probably have to be a pasta lover to fully enjoy the full thing. Sometimes I want something lighter than pasta and there aren't many other classic Italian dishes besides apps/sides to supplement that. I've tried the rigatoni in the past and it's not anything to write home about but it's tasty and consistent. I'm always debating about spending the extra $6/7 for some burrata on top, and have to convince myself that it's just a trend and there is enough cheese and creaminess in there already. I ultimately made this decision bc there are secret add-ons that can drive the overall price up since we started with the whipped ricotta ($17) and shared a side of Brussels ($12), my entrée toscano salad (18) came out to $47 without tip- I had a little left over but still pricey for me The meal was fresh and full of veggies, but they had a lot of oil/flavor which made them filling. The deep kale in the toscano was well cooked and I enjoyed the addition of the cooked rainbow baby carrots. It is a very visual restaurant. Even the sheep logo- so cute! Will def try the tiramisu when I'm hungrier...this spot is expanding across NYC and I can't say I'm mad about it! read more

Came here for dinner last night and had a good meal! It was a Saturday night and we had just arrived in NYC with 0 reservations. After trying a few spots with no lick, we stopped here and were seated with no wait! Our server was great and felt like he came just the right amount of times to check in without being overly annoying! For drinks, I got an espresso martini since I have been on this drink kick all trip! The boys both got the mule. For apps, a number of items looked good. I would have gotten the zucchini fries but we already decided on the cauliflower and it felt too veggie for appetizers. Instead, we got the cacio fritters to augment the cauli. Apps and drinks came out in lightening speed which was amazing since it was already 9ish and we were all ready to eat. As for dinner, my bf got the steak, my friend got the breaded chicken milanese, and I went with the rigatoni after reading several raving reviews! Overall, food was good. The steak was super average in my opinion ($38) but made up for it with bomb herb fries! I liked my rigatoni, but found it steep for the size and also a veggie pasta ($25). My other friend who got the chicken milanese barely ate his food but overall said it was good. I feel like for the price of a $200 dinner I found it to be just ok!! Everything was overall satisfying and enjoyable, just felt that it was overpriced for what was given! Brought my family visiting from out of town here and everyone loved it! Super cute Italian spot with a cozy atmosphere and perfect location. Nice ambiance but their cocktails are prebatched. I asked the bartender and he confirmed this. For 17 dollars a cocktail it should be individually and freshly made. Nice vibe to the place though I will say that but if you like fresh cocktails make sure to specifically ask for one. First bartender was standoffish and seem disinterested in serving. I say for a while before they paid me any attention. Second one who relieved the other from break was nicer and made a fresh cocktail after they confirmed it was pre batch. Some don't care about that, but I do. Just one of my things I suppose. The cocktails are expensive enough to warrant a fresh one. read more

It was a mistake and disappointed decision for stop by this restaurant even the interior and food are nice but service is rude and unprofessional. They were about to close but host decided to seat my friend and I at the bar for last drink. Bar back came to take an order and he made a mistake. So, my friend asked the bartender who was in charge of the bar to fix it and she made a big deal and aggressively body language toward us. My question is if the drink is not right, Can customer asking to change or make the drink better? Restaurant is a service industry and we politely requesting reasonable adjustment. Bad attitude of bartender is unacceptable and ruin the night. read more

Since studying abroad in Rome, I have very high standards for Italian food. La Pecora Bianca definitely met the bar! We started our meal with the cacio e pepe fritters and the meatballs. They were delicious! Then, we each got a pasta as our main. My partner and I got the garganelli with roasted wild mushrooms, arugula pesto, garlic, and pecorino. I highly recommend adding burrata to your pasta! Our friend got the rigatoni with vodka sauce and burrata - it looked delicious. My partner and our friend enjoyed the aperol and hugo spritzes. We had a lovely evening, full of great food, refreshing drinks, and attentive service. I'm sure we'll return soon! read more

I sat at the bar with one other person, as it was pretty busy on a Saturday night. Service was quick and the bartender was friendly, although kind of inattentive. The rigatoni was very good, but the herb fries were burnt and too crispy. The spaghetti was honestly pretty bad, and not even parmesan made it better. Came here for breakfast on a weekday - this spot is right next to Bryant Park so it's a quite convenient location to get to. Dinners are usually pretty busy here but for breakfast the spot is not super busy so not much of a need for reservations. Service was quick, the ambience of the restaurant is spot on - high ceilings, gold-accented furniture, lots of mirrors. It's very pretty. I ordered the baked eggs and a latte. The breakfast selection is more egg-heavy on their choices but makes sense for breakfast, there's also pastries available for order. The baked eggs were flavorful, good tomato sauce with two nicely poached eggs hidden. The dish came with two pieces of rustic bread which was good to dip into. I liked the latte - it had a smooth aftertaste and I liked the attention to detail that it was served with a saucer plate and a small teaspoon. Was able to make a RESY the day before for a Sunday lunch for 2. They have a ton of seating (both indoor and outdoor) but when we got there, it was pretty packed with the weekend brunch/lunch crowd. The ambiance is great. Food came out pretty quick. But the important part -- the food!! We started with the whipped ricotta which was heavenly. Super light and refreshing & getting the perfect bite of rich truffle honey/airy ricotta/crunchy bread made my friend and I super content. Will say that the bread to ricotta ratio is lacking so we scraped the bowl of ricotta with our forks after... Next came our pastas... we got the rigatoni (added burrata which was honestly worth it) and the garganelli. Both were good but we both agreed the rigatoni just hit the spot. Towards the end, the garganelli got a bit salty for my friend. Portion sizes were super good for both of these pastas! Despite being super full, we opted to getting the tiramisu for 2 after we saw super cute pics of the little sheep design. When it came out, we were both stunned by the SHEER SIZE OF THIS DESSERT. It came out in a proper bowl and could've easily been shared by 4-6 people. Although it was so big we couldn't finish it, it was super good -- they definitely soaked the cake thoroughly with coffee! La Pecora Bianca is actually a restaurant I found on Tik Tok, and the pasta looked so scrumptious and mouth watering that I had to try it. I got the Rigatoni, which had a vodka sauce and stracciatella sprinkled on top. It was quite cold in the restaurant, so I was anxiously waiting to order my dish in order to warm me up. I am a sucker for vodka pasta (I love making it at home) and I hadn't had it in a while so this absolutely hit the spot. The sauce was so creamy and just thick enough to where it did not look and taste watery. The addition of the stracciatella, of course, added even richer taste and feel to the pasta that made it so much more enjoyable. I did not try my friend's dishes, but the Tagliatelle was apparently delicious and the Gamigna was definitely untraditional and different, but still had a great taste. I would love to come back to La Pecora Bianca and try one of their other dishes, specifically the Bucatini (Cacio e Pepe)! read more
Words cant explain how fabulous everything was. Not much indoor seating so definitely make reservations! I ordered the rigatoni with vodka sauce dish that ive been seeing all over social media. My gf recommended this dish and now i am recommending it as well! Started off with the ricotta cheese that has honey in the middle. It was a sweet balance. Got a side of shrimp for my pasta which were perfectly grilled and seasoned. I ordered the Paloma as a drink which has tequila, campari, grapefruit. Service was great no long wait for anything. I really enjoyed eating here and it's sooo cute! Very cute/casual, which I think is fitting for all sorts of occasions. I walked in at around 5PM on a Sunday and thankfully was able to be quickly seated, even with no reservation. Every item on the menu looked so good on Yelp, making it very hard to decide what to order. Ultimately, we got the gramigna, garganello, Toscano salad + salmon, and rigatoni. I also ordered a spritz, which was very delicious. My favorite one had to be the gramigna because I'm a huge fan of spicy sausage. We also ordered zucchini fries (not pictured) and those were the perfect appetizer - very thin and tightly breaded, not soggy at all. Definitely give this place a try! read more

Beautiful Italian restaurant by soho. Came as a part of 5 and ordered 4 appetizers, 3 pastas, 2 mains, and 2 desserts. Loved that the entire restaurant could basically open up to outdoors. There was a pleasant breeze that elevated the experience. It's also a pretty large restaurant. Zucchini chips - a must, so delicious, pretty sure I ate the whole plate myself Meatballs, calamari, fries - good, not spectacular Garganelli - my favorite pasta dish, loved the pesto and mushroom combo Rigatoni - delicious Tagliatelle - pretty good, a tiny bit too salty for my taste Scallops - great, loved the squash Steak - asked for medium rare, was a little more cooked than we would've liked but they did offer to redo it for us (which we declined because we already had so much food) Tirimisu - supposed to be for 2 but pretty sure 6 people could eat it, it's large, and so delicious and creamy Olive oil cake - surprisingly my favorite part of dinner, this is a must! read more

My teenage daughter dined here a few weeks ago and raved about a few dishes they ordered which was the chicken, pasta with vodka sauce and the fried zucchini. They loved the ambiance as well. We were shopping in SoHo last night and she wanted to return to share her experience with me, her Mom. Reservations were easily made on line, the host was wonderful and attentive (even after seated). Our waiter Michael, I believe, promptly introduced himself. We ordered the fried zucchini, chicken and pasta bolognese with a side of Brussels sprouts. Everything was fresh, timed perfectly and delicious. We will definitely return. read more

After attending am event near by we decided to come here to get some food, we had no rsvp but were seated within 10-15 minutes or so not bad. Drinks to Start we got some Pinot Gregio not bad went well with our food. Appetizes we tried the Meatballs, yumm they were delicious great taste & good sauce we also had the Whipped Ricotta , Ooo so nice very good ricotta, could use more truffle taste but topped with the honey on the toasted country bread it's a nice combo. Main dishes I had the Rigatoni in the vodka sauce very good , nice taste to the sauce, Hubby has the Bucatino cacio e pepe w added Burrata this was delicious very good sauce great tasting pasta. Nice size location, dimly lit makes for a good date night location, service was good staff was very attentive. Price wise it's on the pricey side, portions are not very big for what they charge but everything we tried was very good, certainly worth the try. read more

Used to be my fav spot for dinner after a shopping day BUT not anymore. I usually don't write this type of reviews but this dinner... First of all, I came around 8pm for a dinner, I didn't have a reservation but still it's Tue evening so there was a lot of empty tables at that time. The place is cute and there are a lot of young people hanging out with friends. Also I like the interior it's light and modern. Was waiting for a hostess for a little while when she was talking to a bartender anyway it's fine. Asked for a table for myself and received literally the worst one, right in the middle, next to the restrooms and when I asked if there a way to switch the table she said that everything is booked (spoiler: nobody ever came)... Okay, but now my "favorite part" the waiter (tall guy with long hair and beard).... Was waiting for him for a long period of time, he just didn't care at all. The moment he approached my table he showed that he definitely not happy to see me, didn't even say hello. And asked (I'd better say mumbled) me what I want to order, lol, what about bringing water and drinks first? Anyway, the food arrived, it was fine, just fine. The burger was full of pickles (I think they put a whole jar tbh) fries were too salty for me and the wine was just ok. Talking about the wine, I think this is actually the first time at this place when they poured such a small portion (still think that this is all about the waiter). Anyway, that was almost the last time I've seen the waiter. He never approached my table again. Never asked about my food (I left like 80% of my food) and never asked if I want a dessert. I was trying to catch his attention to order the tiramisu (which is amazing at this place) but he just didn't care, like at all!!! So I decided to pay and leave. Once I finally had a chance to talk to him and asked for a check he sighed and said fine, like ok. I didn't wait for a check for to long and once I paid and left less than 20% he gave me the look like "I know that you're cheep" and left. No good bye, no thank you, nothing... And that was the time when I checked the bathroom, was alright but no hooks for your personal items and no paper towels. Overall I was disappointed and probably will never come here again. Such a pity bcs this spot was so good last year. read more

On a late weeknight it's a nice place for dinner. The lights are not too bright and the drinks are light. Be aware that the waiter/ waitress may ask if you want add Burrata to you meal for an up charge even if your pasta dish does not go well with the cheese Other than that staff is nice and not to over bearing. read more
Overall an enjoyable evening, celebrating a friends birthday. Pasta was tasty and flavorful. The server we had was incredibly pushy in regards to selling extras (appetizers, drinks, toppings, dessert you name it). Other than that the service was fine, faster than expected. Surprise resy for our date night and it did not disappoint. We came on a weeknight around 7:30 after shopping & the place was bumping. No music on, but there were so many people we wouldn't have had any idea. Our table for 2 could have been for 4 which was nice to have extra space. Our waiter Hemingway was awesome! What we ordered: Lavender Gin Fizz Eggplant Vodka rigatoni with Burrata Mushroom pesto The rigatoni vodka w the burrata was our favorite, you almost have to add the burrata or else it doesn't have cheese. I was honestly unsure if the food would match up to the hype but everything was fantastic. We came here for a birthday dinner with reservations and were seated immediately. Our waiter was really attentive and helpful. For starters we got the Tuscan salad and cacio e pepe fritters. We shared the rigatoni, garganelli, and the strip steak. It's really hard to say which was my favorite, everything was amazing. And finally, we got the tiramisu which was fantastic and plenty to share for 2-4 people. read more
Pastas are all made in house and very good! It was recommended to add the Burrata to all pasta dishes except the linguine so we all added it and it was delicious! The meatballs were also a nice treat :) I can't wait to come back to try the other dishes and order brunch! Great place! We ordered the spaghetti, rigatoni, and garganelli. My favorite was the rigatoni! I will say service was a little slow, and the restaurant was pretty loud. Would overall still come back! read more

La Pecora Bianca is a great get-together spot. My friend and I recently sat down at the Soho location for lunch and ordered the calamari to share and the rigatoni and garganelli. The pasta was a bit harder and firmer to the bite than I am used to and the vodka sauce was very tomatoey. The sauce that came with the garganelli was pretty good and the calamari was ok as well though not my favorite. The main reason I would recommend this spot is that it is super cute and vibey. They have a nice outdoor dining area and the interior is also cute. There are a lot of windows which make for great people watching and an enjoyable atmosphere. The servers were pretty attentive and the last time I went I as able to just walk in. read more
