Love this place. Got a grandma slice and a salad from here and it was top notch. Its on the end of the shopping centre so thats a plus for me. Pretty nice on the interior as well even though we just did takeout. I would recommend this place if your in the mood to try a new Italian place. Prices were fair. read more

My favorite place to get pizza. A little pricey but well worth it. Staff is great but it can get pretty packed as it's the best place around. Restaurant in the back is nice and takeout is usually decently quick. I'd recommend this place to anyone, as finding somewhere with better Italian food would be tough. read more

Ordered Broccoli Rabe E Salsiccia Pizzetta 10" Cauliflower Pizzetta twice recently, and they could not get the order right. First time they left off the broccoli rabe, which I didn't notice till I got to the place I was bringing lunch to an elderly friend. I called them, and they issued a store credit, as I was a distance from the store. I tried again the following week, but this time the order was not ready at 12:35 pm, when I said I'd pick it up. They had the order listed for a 5:30 pm pick up. They said they'd make it right away, so I waited awhile and let my friend know I'd be late. I opened the box in the store, and immediate saw and could smell the regular crust, rather than cauliflower as ordered. They refused correction, so ingredients had to eaten off the inedible crust due to health reasons. I would never recommend this franchise. Menu is terrific, but doesn't matter if they can't get the order right. read more

Went to La Piazza today for a quick lunch and ordered 2 slices of margarita pizza. Excellent slices very quick service. Both slices were perfect and among the top pizza slices I've ever eaten on Long Island. Overall great pizza, great location and will definitely come back for more! read more

I live very far from here but once every 6 months I drive up for their buffalo chicken slice. Heaven on earth.

Food decent. Attitudes lousy. They were more interested in the soccer game on tv than service. I was waiting for my food. Turns out it had come out earlier and they never called my name. I had to go ask. Dealt with small older guy with zero personality. Asked for extra bread. Never asked for it for free. Told me it was in there. Yes 3 pieces. Made to feel like I was bothering him. I been eating the pizza here & the restaurant food ever since I moved back to Plainview four years ago. I even regularly ate at the La Piazza in Merrick for lunch when I use to work in Freeport. I've even eaten at the location in Melville. However, last night was my final straw with the Plainview location & I will never be back there again. The good thing is they aren't the only pizza joint in town. This location time & time again I get ignored at the counter despite a ton of people working behind it. The reason I will never return is last night I was waiting online & only one person was ahead of me with like 7 people behind the counter. This employee asked if I wanted anything after waiting & I said yes & I needed a sec to see what was available. He then walked away & then I assumed he was going to help me out once I made my selection instead he walked by me again & completely ignored me. In addition, I waited at that point thinking one of the many other people workers behind the counter would acknowledge me even by stating will be right with you. However, nothing as if I was some ghost & not some paying customer who was planning to spend at least 10 plus dollars on soup & a pizza last night. I walked out of the place because like I said it wasn't the only time this has happened to me at this place where Im ignored. I will go back & eat the pizza if I'm in the Merrick or Melville area, but never again will I ever step food in the Plainview location again. This location needs training on customer service & I've worked as cashier before, so I know what that is all about in terms of treating customers kindly, so they will return. read more

My high school was very close to La Piazza so I frequently went for lunch. This is my favorite pizza on Long Island. There is a great combination of delicious sauce and cheese. Since it is always busy the pizza constantly flows so you are never stuck with a slice that has been sitting there forever like other pizza places. Whenever I'm back in town I always try to stop by for a slice. read more

We spent two weeks in Manhattan and then had to come out to this area for a few days. Let me just tell you - the pizza here was better than anything I found In NYC! It was huge, the crust was perfect (brick oven kind of crust), the toppings were generous... YUM!!! I honestly think the only other pizzas I've had that that were this good were in Little Italy in Connecticut and Little Italy Boston. We're going back tonight to try out the calamari, caesar salad and who knows what else. I'll report back. read more

I had La Piazza cater a baby shower that I was hosting in my home. I ordered a full tray of eggplant parmigiana and a full tray of chicken picatta. I also ordered a half tray of baked ziti and a half tray of farfalle oreganata. The food arrived hot and at the time I requested. The order came with two enormous boxes of pretty tasty bread, along with garlic knots. The delivery guy set everything up for me. The guests at the baby shower all complimented the food. I would definitely recommend La Piazza for in home catering. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is because it was a little pricey. The bill was about $50 higher than it would have been if I ordered similar items from Uncle Giuseppe's. read more

A little more expensive than some of the other Italian restaurants but the food and service are consistently very good quality. Took brother in law there to celebrate his birthday on Saturday night. Great Italian food. It's a cozy little place. Get the steak salad. It's good. Buffalo chicken salad is another option too. Tortellini soup is good. Their pasta with basic red sauce is another option if you don't like to explore. Overall, can't go wrong with this place. read more

This is a really nice place. From outside it seems like it might just be an average place but the food was better than I expected. I went there for lunch and the $10.50 lunch special was great. I had the chicken panini with a salad and the panini was really good. The panini was made with Italian bread so it was awesome - crispy, chicken was moist and tasty. And I should mention almost all the servers I saw had smiles and seemed very happy. That's just a bonus... Overall a very nice place. read more

Pretty legit. Had a regular slice and a margherita slice. The margherita was fresh and flavorful and the regular was large and thin reminiscent of city pizza as opposed to li pizza and it was good. I can't wait to try their brick oven pizza. Just came back from this pizzeria that i have frequented for the past 20 plus years.We sat down and wanted to be served,we ordered prociutta pizza first which came out cold,complained and they reheated and re-served which was fine but not perfect.Then we ordered our main course (veal pizziola) dinner which my wife and I attempted to eat ,which was basically un-edible so we returned the dinner and ordered a pasta dish .We asked immediately for our check.Upon reviewing our check i noticed that they added a side salad to our check that came with our original order.I questioned this and the waitress told us that since we returned that dish and ordered a pasta dish,that it did not come with it.This was told to her by the manager to add that charge to the bill.I paid the bill,then was walking out and asked for the manager.I told him all that happened (which he new ) I told him i felt that HE nickled and dimed us, he attempted to apologize,and let him know that we will NEVER frequent this place again.Good luck and keep serving that garbage that you call food!!!! Hands down best Buffalo Chicken Pizza in NY. Melted blue cheese already on the slice with parsley flakes and a nice crunch to the crust. Perfect amount of spice with the hot sauce. Just mouth watering! read more

Unfortunately, I don't get out that way to often but when I do, I have to get a few slices. Never thought I would like a grandma slice, but it is absolutely delicious!
