She was AMAZING! She completed my up-do beautifully in less than 40 minutes and was so professional. An amazing experience. For reference, I am 19, M, and I recently decided to get a perm. I was afraid to get my perm done for the first time, as I didn't know what to expect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was greeted so kindly by reception, and within 10 minutes, I was seen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Heidi was my stylist, and she led me through the whole procedure as she was doing my hair. She was thorough, and made sure to ask for my preferences when it came to the curls and the haircut. It took about 4 hours to complete the look, and I was stunned and amazed at how great the perm looked! 10/10 service. I had an appointment with Sidney at 1:45 I was running late and she texted me at 2:00pm asking me if am on my way. I responded right away saying I will be there in less then 10 minutes. I get there at 2:07 check in and the front desk girl go and she goes and. tells Sidney I am here. I go take a seat And I'm waiting. I notice she is with another client which is totally understandable because I was late and why wouldn't she take another client. After she finishes up. At this point I've been waiting an hour. Again.. I don't mind. I was late. Sidney comes up to me and she goes hi and I tell her I apologize that I am late and she goes I'm sorry but I won't be able to see you because you were 15 minutes late. 1. Why did you text me at 2pm which is the 15min mark asking me if I am still coming 2. Why would you let me sit there for over an hour waiting for you knowing you won't be seeing me I literally left in tears. Worst experience ever. I will never ever come back here again. read more

I usually only write reviews when I have great service, but I felt like this might help someone else. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was desperate for a haircut, and I was struggling to get ahold of my regular hairstylist, so I decided to try La Posh for a cut in the interm-- as reviews and pictures looked positive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had never been, so I didn't know who to request. Thus, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called and told the receptionist I wanted a cut that was shoulder length, thinned out, and with layers, and she said Destini could do that (it turned out Destini was the only one actually working at that time).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once at the salon, after going over the style and cut I wanted with Destini, she asked if I wanted to add a shampoo. For a $55 salon cut, I kind of expected a shampoo, blow dry, and style to be included, so I was surprised that this wasn't automatically included. After agreeing, Destini proceeded to shampoo, cut, then partially blowdry my hair, before using the thinning shears on it. Then she was done, leaving me with half a blowdry and no additional product or style (to which my hair started frizzing and getting some kinky curls underneath the top layer). She alluded that she does full blowouts, but the reason I wasn't getting one was because she did the thinning shears after the blowdry. That didn't make a lot of sense, as it would still equate to the same amount of blowdrying, so I can't speak to whether a person can expect to leave this salon with a full blowdry or not. After she indicated she was done, I asked if she might add layers (like I had said I wanted from the start) to help give it more movement and style, but she advised me against them. However, she did say that if I still felt I wanted them after washing and drying it at home, that I could come back and she would add some then. Having now washed and styled it at home, I have found that it is cut shorter on one side than the other and overall resembles a mushroom. But, there is no way I would go back to her to attempt to fix this. I'll [[HIGHLIGHT]]also mention that my upper back was soaked after the shampoo. Destini claimed that had never happened before in all of her time doing hair, but the adolescent before me was seen leaving with a very wet back, as well. Also, she chose the tip amount of 25% to add to the charge before I tapped my credit card. I've had merchants point out the tip screen, in hopes that it's not missed, but never have I had them choose the amount for me[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. All-in-all, this was a very disappointing experience. For less than half the price, I truly believe I could have gotten a better haircut had I just gone to Great Clips or Super Cuts. read more

I have quite thin hair, so I just asked for whatever he thought would give me the most volume and was low maintenance I showed some reference pictures compiled before the appointment for stylistic ideas Peter let me know before applying each product what it was (without me asking), which I appreciated. He was a good conversationalist and I otherwise let him work in peace. Any questions I had in terms of hair care and products he was more than happy to explain! I used to go to another place and every time I'd get my hair cut it wasn't really responsive to my old stylist and the ends of my hair would break and were very unmanageable. However when I came here to La Posh and Armine cut my hair, it responded very well to her cut! She washed my hair and cut it the way I wanted. She got rid of the split ends that I've been needing to get cut off for a long time and shortened my hair a little for me. She cut and styled my hair the way I wanted and it looks good and feels SOOOO nice now! My hair is now back to its healthy state! It's nice and smooth now and looks so much better! I LOVE IT! This is the worst haircut I have ever gotten. If salons are going to charge $65 and up for a haircut and style, then they need to make sure the stylist knows what they are doing. This past week, I've had two services at La Posh. First, hair by Alexcis. I've left a review on her separate business page - it was great. Today I had a facial with Jen. I don't think I can say enough good things about her. I booked a 90-min signature service because it has been far too long since I've managed to get in for this, and I have an event to go to. Jen's welcome was so warm and kind. The chair was phenomenally comfortable. The scents in the room were inviting but not overpowering. The music (piano) was loud enough to not hear the salon work outside but not so loud that I was distracted by it. She managed to fully and completely clean my pores and take off the fuzz while simultaneously making me feel more relaxed in a facial than I have ever experienced. Two days ago Karina Gracia cut my hair. I thought it was weird that the shampoo she used had no scent and that she didn't condition, but forgot about it until driving home when I remembered that I'd planned on splurging on shampoo at La Posh. 24 hrs later my hair felt really dirty. I don't think she used any shampoo at all. A salon shampoo and blow out usually lasts me at least two days. Today I shampooed and styled my hair. I discovered one side is much longer than the other and instead of layers there are random chunky steps throughout. The La Posh owner took my call and basically said that their stylists are independent contractors and she could not do anything about my bad cut. I sent Karina pix and was offered a recut. No thank you! I received a refund instead. La Posh does not take responsibility for their stylists, find another salon! read more

I got my hair done Wednesday by Karina Gracia, I will never forget the experience. I wanted highlights surrounding the top of my head, I showed her a picture and she nodded. I was there for 6 hours and she left my hair orange on the top of my roots, I immediately saw it and told her it was orange and she fixed it and took longer to do it, charging me $350 for all of it. At first it was $290 but she talked to her friend that worked there with her and changed it to $350. RIP OFF. I would think it would be cheaper for making me wait so long, making my head burn, and making me orange. She also had another client and we both kept giving each other glances from what she was doing to our hair. I asked for highlights and was left with blonde hair. NEVER GOING BACK. She charges me way more than it was supposed to be. read more

I LOVE the hair color that Vi Lopez does for my hair so much! I first went in for a consult because I wanted to lighten my hair but it was so damaged from changing it up too much (going light to dark to light to dark) She said she could do something and informed me of having realistic expectations. She also made sure to take the steps to lessen the damage as much as possible and not to push my hair farther than it can handle. She gives me mostly foiled baby lights with some hand painting at the ends. It looks so good and has so much movement. I asked her for something low maintenance as I don't have the time/patience/funds to come to the salon too often and I also wanted JLo style hair hehe. She gave me exactly what I was looking for and my hair grew out looking so nice despite not having come to the salon for any toner or touch up in 8 months!!! I still loved the way my hair looked but decided it was time for a touch up since I'll be away for a while. I love her attitude and personality. She always gives me the best hair tips when I ask for it from how to style my hair to how to use hairspray properly. She knows what she's doing and uses the best products. At our last appointment she realized the toner didn't take on some parts on the back of my head while she was blow drying.
