I love La Salsa Verde! I usually get the chicken tinga tacos and they are so soft and flavorful. They are also inexpensive, as real street tacos should be. I regularly get the quesa Burria and it never disappoints. It's cheesy, soft, and juicy and I always look forward to it and the salsas are soooo good. Really great hole in the wall place. We got an array of tacos (and boy do they have a lot of choices!!) and they were all delicious. The chorizo especially was delicious. If you dine in they offer pickled onions and HABANEROS. Their sauces are also real spicy if you enjoy that. The one time we came in it was pretty packed. Drove by this place looked how packed it was I don't like waiting much being I am not patient but the line goes down really fast. To my surprise these tacos are everything and more I also ordered a torta de fajita which was by far the best I have had the flavors in the meat and everything so fresh only thing didn't like was that as it being a Mexican torta it came with yellow American cheese. Now I know for the next time to ask to hold the cheese. The small place is very clean and the people so down to earth. If you are in a hurry I would recommend you calling in your order ahead of time. Went in on a Sunday afternoon busy place had to wait for seating. They also have an app where you can order your food and get 10% off will definitely do this next time if I go. Wish this place had a bigger dinning area for seating. I ordered the fajita torta next time I will order it without the ham and yellow cheese. The fajita meat didn't have much flavor but once you add the hot salsa it's good. The torta portion is huge 2 people can eat from it. Torta came with Lay's potatoe chips. This restaurant chain is completely against Homeless and low income individuals. They Denied service to Man who had enough quarters to be a paying customer for a Taco and They cant give him the deceny to place an order or deliver the food to him directly. In stead they have to ask other customer to hand him the food. Also speaking to the homeless man as something less than a person with insults and harsh remarks. To think the women manager of the establishment felt better than a Homeless person is flat out disgusting and rude. I never leave reviews. But I had to after receiving the same terrible service every time I've been here. Their food is really good but their service sucks. Every time I call an order to go it's always wrong and I never even get as much as an apology just a you can come pick it up. This time I ordered and when I got here they didn't even have my order I verified I called the right number thirty minutes ago and still no apology just a you can order again if you want. Great tacos! You can tell by how busy they are all the time, all year. Just about every taco is good here. They have many options to choose from. I'd say more than most places. The salsas aren't my favorite, but they do the job. I typically order tacos with queso and don't stray too far from that. You self seat and it can be a challenge sometimes for groups (meaning more than 2 people) so keep that in mind during busy peak hours.
