Haven't been to Cici's in forever and I saw they had rebranded and decided to come in for a visit. Still a menu filled with everything you could think of to order. We started with some hot chocolates and shared the eggs Benedict, itsy bitsy pancakes and a crepe. Everything was delicious but we definitely order a bit too much food even for sharing. Staff were friendly as always.
My usual go to is loco moco or corned beef hash. BUT I've never seen beef panang curry with lava omelet. It did NOT disappoint. Beef was super tender. Panang sauce had that creamy peanut flavor with a slight kick of heat with flavor! Lava omelet was beautifully cooked and fun to eat. It is like a Japanese omurice which I've never had before. My only critique is that I would want Japanese sticky rice. Jasmine rice is too loose and Japanese rice would hold up to all the delicious sauce and lava omelet. So much flavor and nothing was needed like salt, pepper, hot sauce. My server Mint (I loved that she spelled her name for me) was super sweet and patient. It's a THIRTY page menu!!! She said beef panang was her favorite and I don't think she was just saying that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner is Thai so I love the little hints of Thai decorations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very clean with modern lights and decorations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Stopped by for brunch on Wednesday. It wasn't too crowded around 11 am when we arrived.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's a small parking lot for the whole plaza, but I can see it getting full during busy times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant wasn't too crowded when I arrived, maybe 1/3 of the tables were occupied.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu was very long and overwhelming.... let's just say I've never seen a menu with a table of contents before! lol I know they're known for their pancakes, so I definitely wanted to try some, but I also prefer savory dishes at brunch. I ended up ordering a custom frittata ($22.95) with spinach, portabello mushroom, and turkey breast for my savory, and the matcha souffle pancake ($24.95) for my sweet. The frittata came out first. The shape wasn't quite what I was expecting, as it looked more like an egg pancake (it was large and thin) rather than a frittata, but it was good. I got it with a side of fruit and plain bagel, so it was a relatively light breakfast. The matcha souffle pancakes came out after ~25 minutes or so, which isn't bad at all. The menu said to expect a 45 minute wait on weekdays, but no one else was ordering the souffle pancake so it came out much quicker than expected. I have mixed feelings about the souffle pancakes. On one hand, they're super soft and jiggly and almost just melts in your mouth. I really liked them from a texture point of view. I also thought they had the right amount of sweetness. However, even though it comes covered in a green matcha sauce and I'm sure they added some matcha into the pancake itself, I couldn't taste any matcha. If I had known that earlier, I would've ordered one of the other souffle pancakes where the flavor comes through more. Also, they are pretty pricey for what they are... yes the pancakes are massive, but it's the first time I paid more for pancakes than for my entree at brunch. My friend ordered the Mama Bea Omelet ($22.95) and really enjoyed it. It was his first time getting an omelet with salsa on top, and I have a feeling it won't be the last! The scalloped potatoes on the side were delicious as well. He also got the house coffee (called Cup of Joe on the menu) for $3.75 and enjoyed the unlimited refills. Would recommend all brunch and pancake lovers to come and try brunch here!
Wait Time: (None) For the bar. It clears up pretty fast, there's spots outside since it's chilly but wait time for a table inside is about 40 minutes on a Saturday night. Service: Everyone is very helpful. Service was prompt and they have a full staff of your sitting at the bar, you'll get Top Notch Service. Food: Great will visit again.
I love this place. They have a huge menu all the items I have ever tried are bomb. The drinks are also pretty amazing. Literally another brunch run with my bestie today. I got the combo steak, eggs and crepes and she got the parang curry plate. Everything was so good. Not a long wait time today and their food always comes out hot and fresh. We ordered an iced cappuccino but it wasn't sweetened. We asked a staff to give us sweetener which they did. Another successful lady C's brunch and will always be our go to in the valley. I crave for their food all the time!!
Here's the revised version with the first two paragraphs unchanged and the update reflected at the end: We had a great experience at Cici's Cafe. I ordered the CC Café omelette and it was very good and super filling. The chicken apple sausage was a standout--really flavorful and delicious. We also shared the matcha soufflé pancakes, and wow. They were rich, fluffy, and absolutely delicious without being overly sweet. We did have to wait for a table, so I'd definitely expect a wait during busier times, especially on the weekend. Overall, great food and a spot I'd happily come back to.
Pancakes, this place is all about their pancakes! And long waits... We got their Panang Curry and Lava Omelet along with their Straberry Souffle Pancake and Banoffee Souffle cup. Gave us a good savory and sweet brunch. We really liked it all. The curry dish is a must. Both souffles were good, so you should leave without trying at least one souffle. We had approx 30min of wait and another 45min of wait for their souffles. There will be a lot of waiting. Was it worth it? Even with all the waiting? Yes. If you have a super chill weekend and wouldn't mind a late breakfast, its worth it. I would recommend this place.
Randomly found this place and it was delicious! Big menu and big portions! LOTS of French toast, pancakes, and waffle flavours. They even have soufflé pancakes but we didn't order any. Line gets long so expect to wait a bit but theirs turnover seems to be quick. On our visit, we tried the Aloha Pancakes, Loco Moco Benny, The Chopper (with pancakes), and a Mexican dish that we can't remember the name... oops! But everything tasted great! Not a lot of parking spaces but there are street parking available too. Friendly staff and they seem to be a well-oiled machine so you'll get a typical diner experience here.
I'm so happy to see that Lady C's has really stepped up their game over the past year. The food quality has definitely improved, service has been excellent lately, they are still super busy so plan on a potential wait before being seated. We had a delicious breakfast this morning. I'm a huge fan again!!! Their pancakes and soufflés are masterpieces!

My husband and I have been coming here for brunch for years and the last couple times have been a bit disappointing. Cicis Cafe is known for their great food and long waiting time due to high influx of people and limited seating. That being said- it was always worth the wait. My go to order is their "The Chopper" which is consistently great that is served with a side of eggs and bacon. My husband however will venture out to their omelettes and burritos, specifically their Huevos con chorizo that I have never heard him complain about. Cicis Cafe was one of our favorite spots in the valley however it unfortunately isn't that anymore, they raised their already high prices due to inflation and cut their portions of food significantly. For that reason we will no longer be coming here. I would still give them 4/5 stars for the quality of the food and service that was always consistent. read more
Went to CiCi's Cafe on a Saturday at noon and there was a big waitlist. As a party of 2, it took about 30 minutes to get seated, and another 8 minutes before the food was ready. The staff placed my party in the front of the store, which would be faster seating. There were a few tables in the front only. There is a parking lot in the front of the store, but it is shared with other businesses and it's also compact. I discovered there is another parking in the back, which is what I'll use for the future. Despite sitting outside, the service was still good. The waitress checked up of us often. Condiments were all set at the table such as ketchup and hot sauces. I ordered the Salmon Benedict. The pieces of salmon tasted fresh. Hash browns were not too salty and soft. read more
This place is always busy. I came in 2018 and left because the wait was so long. I decided to endure the 45 minute wait this time. It's a nice cozy breakfast diner. Ordered two different types of eggs Benedict which took another 30 minutes to make. The eggs Benedict didn't have much flavor; the hollandaise sauce was unspectacular. The corned beef it was sitting on was also missing flavor. Also had the limited time lychee pancakes which were really good. If you order the soufflé pancakes, you'll have to add another 45 minutes wait. That wait-time stack up might consume your whole morning so be prepared. read more

Cici's Café is definitely a place you must try. The green tea tiramisu pancakes are a must--absolutely delicious and unique. The Florentine eggs Benedict were also amazing, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We came back after about five years, and the flavor is still the same, which says a lot. Of course, prices have changed a bit, but the quality of the food remains excellent. It is a small restaurant, so be prepared to wait during rush hours. The only downside was the service at the beginning. After we were seated, we waited about 15 minutes and no one came to greet us or take our order. I had to get up and bring a waitress to our table. I understand this happened because the restaurant was completely full. However, once the food arrived, we honestly did not mind anymore because everything tasted so good. HOLY SHIT -- these are seriously the BEST pancakes I've ever had! They literally melt in your mouth. SO GOOD!! And the options? Endless. You've gotta try them at least once. The Aztecan mocha was amazing too -- probably one of the best Mexican mochas I've ever had. I'll say the scalloped potatoes were a 3/5: kinda bland, a little soggy, and could use some salt. But honestly, you have to check this place out. Everything else is just sooo good!! read more

Drove from SD and was looking for a brunch spot. Came across this cafe on yelp and thought we would give it a try. Came around 1ish and boy was it packed! Only had a 5 minute wait until we were seated for a family of 5. Lots of items on the menu for brunch. So many choices. Nice little quaint cafe, lots of people but not noisy. Lots of seating for a mid size cafe. I wish they had a location in SD. 5 out of 5 stars! read more
Super disappointed with our breakfasts :( Let's start with my Strawberry Horchata it was a strawberry milk with a hint of cinnamon. Our eggs and Bacon- Bacon was cold and seemed microwaved, the eggs were tiny and could have used at least one toast for the yoke. Peanutbutter Crunch French Toast- had no crunch and had more chocolate sauce, marshmallows compared to the spoon of Peanutbutter in the center. Blueberry Cheesecake Pancakes- wife liked them alot. Overall lackluster breakfast for a week day, I think some of the problem is not enough staff to keep up with the cooking and service in the Resturant and outside. We didn't confor the souffle pancakes because the place was so packed that not sure if we would have had then before lunch... The Server was friendly but definitely overwhelmed with having to cover everyone inside and out!!! read more

I have officially been "CiCi'd!" Finally made it over here for a late breakfast with my friend and was very happy with our service and food. We got a table quickly on a Tuesday morning. It was freezing inside so we moved outside so I could be warm. Our server Oummie was fantastic along with the rest of the staff. We ordered our food and it was ready in about 15 mins. Both of us ordered the two eggs & bacon plus side of pancakes and/or waffle. It was a lot of food but we managed to eat most of it. It tasted good and my waffle with the fresh strawberries & whipped cream was yummy. I also ordered a French Press Coffee which was good. I took home my left overs and my left over coffee. Stopped by this breakfast spot because she really wanted to try some fluffy pancakes and it was very local to us. I ordered a loco moco breakfast and it was soooo good and very tasteful. I was a little hesitant because I've had loco moco in Hawaii and it was to die for. However this place is good, but does not live up to the Hawaiian standard. The fluffy pancakes, *BE WARNED* it does take about 30-45 minutes on a weekday because they make it from scratch. The presentation was 10/10 and for me the taste was about 7/10, however she loved it and that's all that matters. We loved the inside part of the restaurant, definitely gives off old classic diner vibes. Overall, we will be coming back some time in the near future. The food was amazing, we got a pastrami melt, a chicken pesto sandwich, we shared the red velvet pancakes and we got pumpkin horchatas. Everything was delicious, worth the price, and came out pretty fast. Just be ready to wait a bit since there's a pretty long wait line on the weekends. I will go again! read more
FOOD Cee's Omelet [3.5/5] Omelet with chicken apple sausage, mushrooms, spinach and Boursin cheese. This was pretty standard omelet, nothing too special. I was able to sub the sides for sweet potato fries for no additional cost and it came with side of toast. Green yeah tiramisu pancakes [4.2/5] The pancakes were green tea with a green tea type of syrup and tiramisu cream to top it off. It came with 3 pancakes! It was delicious, I'm not too big of a sweets fan in the morning but my friends really loved it. SERVICE [4/5] My group waited ~45 mins for a table on Saturday at around 12PM. I think I the wait is long if multiple tables are ordering their soufflé pancakes which takes 1-1.5 hours to come out in the weekends. The food took 20ish mins to come out once we ordered. Im giving them 2 stars for the souffle pancakes. They were not as good as they are in Japan but pretty darn good. BUT you could only order one order per table. So we were so disappointed. I think they should either have them on the menu or not. We also ordered the Monkey Business pancakes. Those were a total disappointment. We should have done our research a little better on this place. Drove 5 1/2 hours to try this place out, only to be told by the server that they only serve one order of their Soufflé Pancakes per party. My daughters wanted to try one each of a different flavor (choose wisely). When the Soufflé Pancake arrived, it looked amazing but the taste and texture was off. Locals around here love this place but after driving more than 5 hours to try this place out, we agreed that we should of went to Flippers in west Hollywood like we did last time we visited the LA area. Went in with high expectations and ended up disappointed. We ordered Cici's Breakfast and the Strawberry Cheesecake Soufflé Pancakes. Cici's Breakfast was absolutely disgusting. It had no flavor, the chicken sausage tasted weird, and overall it looked like prison food. The soufflé pancakes were alright. The waiters were nice, but that doesn't make up for the poor food quality. You could not pay me to go back. Overpriced and just overall bad food. read more

I've eaten at Cici's Cafe several times and there is always a long wait, but for a good reason! It's best to come early in the morning before the line gets crowded. Their menu is vast, with options satisfying those who like to eat both sweet and savory! My #1 item is definitely the green tea tiramisu pancakes. My group of friends came here on a Sunday for brunch and we waited for almost an hour. It's a fairly sized place but the tables were packed next to each other. It felt like there was barely any space between each table. It definitely felt busy as the workers were constantly moving, so I don't know if they were just understaffed that day. I ordered Cee's Omelet with some potatoes and a plain bagel. The omelet itself was good but pretty standard. I wish the potatoes had more potato content as they were just sliced and fried. It was nice that they gave you an option for bagel, muffin, or toast. My friends ordered the Big Bad Boy Burrito, and they thought it was alright, nothing special. The star of the brunch was definitely the pancake we ordered. They do give you a heads up that their soufflé pancakes take about 45 minutes on weekdays and 1 hour+ on weekends to make. Because we didn't want to wait, we just opted for the Green Tea Tiramisu Pancakes, which came out in a reasonable amount of time. It comes in a stack of 3 and topped with matcha cream. It was sweet and tasty and the texture of the pancakes were good. I didn't really taste the tiramisu but my friends said there was a hint of it in the cream. I am going to update my review to 3 stars. Today, we went to CiCi's for a second time. At around 10:30, there were plenty of seats available. We were seated immediately. The server took our order and left. Unfortunately, they did not follow our instructions about how cooked my Mom's eggs should be. We like the whites completely cooked! They were not! A lot of raw which my Mom had to separate. They also brought me the wrong drink which they changed immediately after I asked them, but not on the bill. The maple syrup container seemed to have overflowed because it was sticky all around. The server, contrary to my last visit, did not come our way to ask how things are. Not even once. I had ordered egg Benedict. It was warm but not hot enough. The coffee was also only warm. They were not understaffed but somehow inattentive. I don't know how I've been living in the valley my whole life and have never heard of this placed !!! What an incredible menu and the dishes coming out of the kitchen were mind blowing!! Some of these waffles/ pancakes were honestly works of art. Delicious art !! It was my birthday and I was dying for a Dutch pancake. Which honestly you don't see anywhere , but my husband found this place so we gave it a shot! I'm glad we did ! It was absolutely delicious and the best I've ever had! LOVE it!!! First time here, Tuesday around 10am. The line wasn't very long however I've passed by the area on a Sunday and see the line way out the door. After eating here, I definitely know why. I've been wanting to come forever I always hear about CiCi's and I've been in the valley my whole life. I loved my breakfast burrito!! I honestly would come for the potatoes alone the way they were cut and cooked with a soft and crunchy aspect was amazing. Better than any hashed potatoes or breakfast potatoes I've ever eaten. And the matcha soufflé pancakes were SO good!!! Loved it so much I definitely will be returning to try other pancake flavors. The waitstaff was excellent and the inside was very clean and neat. 12/10!! read more

went here for breakfast and absolutely loved it! service was great- everyone was very friendly, attentive, and fast. our pancakes & drinks came out very quickly and everything was delicious. the taro latte was not too sweet, perfectly creamy, and a nice treat. i ordered the green tea tirimisu pancakes, and was nervous they would be too sweet but that was not the case. they were perfectly soft and fluffy with a great flavor profile and just the right amount of sweetness. i love that the whipped cream was homemade! my boyfriend got the banana pancakes and they came with cooked bananas and a tasty banana syrup. they were very yummy and flavorful as well he ordered a side of bacon which was pretty greasy, but still tasted alright. cici's was a great way to start the morning :) read more
Yummy breakfast as always! Just have to wait a while to get seated. Service is so friendly. If you're trying to get your pancake fix, this is the place. You'll be overwhelmed with their selection of pancakes however their most popular is the green tea Tirimisu pancakes. read more
Yay!! I finally convinced my friends to come here Sunday morning for brunch. The wait was about an hour for a party of 4. Totally worth the wait. First off, the host Chase is awesome. He is friendly despite the mob of people waiting to make reservations and be seated. Overall, the entire staff was wonderful and service just excellent. They made sure our coffee cups were always filled. They took our order within minutes of being seated. We ordered the following items: Veggie frittata Egg Omelette (made our own) Spywalker soufflé cup Bacon con queso Benedict Everything was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh and perfectly prepared. By far one of the best breakfast restaurants in the Valley. I would highly recommend. read more

We visited Cici's 2 weeks ago. They are always busy as always. Luckily, we didnt have to wait too long to get seated. They offers a variety of seating options for different group sizes, and the ambiance was pleasant . I tried the Beef Panang Curry Lava Omelette, the beef was good and tender, however, i just wish the curry was less sweet it would be perfect. I would totally visit again! read more

Finally had a chance to visit the famous CiCi's Cafe and it was delish. I thoroughly enjoyed the pancakes, and the green tea latte was sooo good. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake pancakes with a side of bacon and eggs. Although the eggs and bacon were nothing special, the pancakes absolutely were! And I mean, that's why I was there- the pancakes. They have so many options that it can be overwhelming but go with your gut and you won't be disappointed. My party decided to try their matcha souffle pancake (1 per party only) and it absolutely melted in my mouth. They take approximately 45 minutes to make so order that first. Our server was quick but kind. It isn't a big place so they hussle to get customers in and out as quickly as possible, but weirdly enough, we didn't feel rushed, and we were a party of 9. The only downside and it's not that big of a deal, is their only 1 bathroom. I had to wait a bit to use it, but I was already fed so no biggy. Also, first come- first server basis so come early to avoid a long wait! read more

A few outdoor seating but not ideal since people waiting to get in stand next to you and watch you eat. No dogs inside allowed I believe.

Are you open for dine in?
Hi! Yes we are open for dine indoors! However, please note that our tables is very limited and only comes at a first come, first serve basis. In the meantime, we also have a lot of our outdoor tables outside in the front.
Do they take reservations?
When I went it was self seating, placed our order at the counter then set our number on the table in order for them to bring our food. They were friendly, quick, and efficient.
How long is the wait usually? let's say If I arrive around 9 am.
I went on a Sunday morning just a week ago around this time and there was no wait. It seems like the earlier you get there the better chance of not having a wait. You can also call ahead to ask them as well.
