I went back again recently and my nails look amazing. Kim and Mai Lee are both fantastic -- very friendly, detail-oriented, and they clearly take pride in their work. They take their time to make sure everything looks clean and polished rather than rushing you through the appointment. Once she finished shortening them she left and went to another client. I waited longer for another girl to put foils on my nails to soak. I waited the typical time for a soak off then when it came to drilling off the gel x nail, it appeared as if the lady did not have control over her tools since it kept slipping off my nail and hitting the side of my finger and even the bottom of my finger. I was charged $15 for the removal plus an extra $1 because I used card. I used to come here when I was little all the time and now I feel like the quality has just gone downhill.

Admittedly, I've been doing my own hands and feet for a year or so, so I'm not sure if manicures and pedicures have changed to where the nail shops no longer clean under finger nails and toenails, but I had to ask for it to be done for my toes, and the tech only cleaned under one hand. Neither the tech that did my nails nor the one that did my feet completely addressed my cuticles, they don't look as clean as they used to when I was still going to nail shops. I asked for "Cat Eye" and showed them exactly what I wanted from a finger nail example that they offered to me. There was understanding at this point. When it came time to do the Cat Eye, the tech did a design that I didn't ask for. I showed her exactly what I wanted. She asked if I wanted something different, [from the previous design she did] I said yes. I was waiting to see what I asked for to appear, it never happened. Again, my nails were still cute, just not what I asked for. As it was my first time getting Cat Eye, I wanted to know where we went wrong. When I was figuring things out aloud, I had to make it clear that I gave them their own example of what I asked for, and the tech did a design that was not requested. No accountability was taken on their side. Another tech interjected to provide clarity, which helped me understand the first tech better, but it didn't uncover a misunderstanding on my part. She even tried to attribute the misunderstanding to my lack of experience with Cat Eye. I've seen the style on numerous hands and I ask each time if that style is Cat Eye, that's all that I'm thinking that I need to request especially when given an example by the nail tech and told her that that's exactly what I wanted. It was very frustrating to have to keep my cool to avoid looking like the bad guy when voicing corrections that should've just been performed for a paying customer.

I asked her to fix it but she only filed the sides a little bit. Hard to fix once it's cured with gel. I also felt burning during the gel cure and was wondering why. The gentleman was kind but the lady who did my pedi and checked me out told me the total came out to 75, she entered 76... and said cash? I said I have debit, she then entered 86 and asked for tip. I tipped 14- which I felt that wasn't fair so she pocketed more because I used my debit, most places charge 3% fee but she added a 10$ service fee? And then asked for tip? I'm Vietnamese, they were talking about me that I am American and entitled. My mother told me to never talk back because they are unhappy in their own lives. It's so sad my fiance told me to go get it done somewhere else and write a review. I really wanted to like them. They are fake and talks about people who aren't Vietnamese. Reason why I will NOT be returning or recommending -- Bella has a separate calendar for her clients, & I had a scheduled appointment. She texts me almost 2 weeks ago and tells me she needs to reschedule my Wednesday appointment for a Monday. When I ask which Monday, she does not respond When I called the shop, I speak to her husband who coordinates all scheduling for the shop and he tells me Bella will contact me to reschedule. She does not. I had to call 4+ times over the week and a half to get clarification on whether my appointment was still good. The day before my appointment I call again and I am told Bella will take the appointment however at this point I have had to go elsewhere because of the lack of response.
