Would be 5 star easy but one of the workers made us move from our table literally minutes before sunset because he was putting the chairs away early and clearly wanted to go home. If you want to have the worst Conch Ceviche, this is the place for that. you cannot taste the conch in this overwhelming acidic mixture of peppers and other veg. it lacks taste and so does whomever came up with the recipe. I told the management and they didn't seem to care, its like its so hard for them to make a dollar down here that they feel that once you pay that's it, you are stuck with what you got! I went to Lagerheads for drinks and a quick bite to eat while visiting Key West. I used navigation to find the restaurant. It can be complicated to find if you're not familiar with Key West. Lagerheads is a small restaurant located by the water. The owner kindly greeted us while looking over Lagerheads menu. I had a drink and crab cakes. Our drinks were average. The crab cakes were tasty. Food comes with a small piece of fruit and cookie. Prices were reasonable for food and drinks. The best part about Lagerheads is the views in my opinion. Customers get a nice view of the water while eating/drinking (very relaxing). Lagerheads has lounge chairs and umbrella for rent (if you want to lay by the restaurant). I enjoyed my short time at Lagerheads. I give Lagerheads a 4.5 rating. read more

really chill spot with a private beach. super friendly service. great food and tables right on the beach. perfect ambiance really. had a really tasty fish sandwich and then a little dip in the water. some rocks at the edge of the water so had to be a little careful walking around, but was a very nice lazy afternoon after a fun day snorkeling. really enjoyed our time here and would definitely return if in the area again. read more

Great location on a man made beach at the end of Simonton (west end of street). Little beach shack, with yummy fish tacos, served with a mango tomato salsa on top. Their hotdogs are good too and huge! Tried their sangria and enjoyed that as well. Wanda was very friendly. They have chaises for $10 includes umbrella and there are table and chairs with umbrellas on the sand as well as a few stools in the shack facing the water. Awesome beachfront location where you can get all kinds of sandwiches, buckets of beer, mixed drinks, etc and just chill listening to live music when they have it or the sound of the ocean lapping against the shore when they don't. Loved this little beach! There aren't many public beaches in Key West but this fits the bill. Live music, water activities and a gorgeous view. There is a small hut with food and drinks and the staff was very accommodating. I'd highly recommend if you want to find a beach in the area. read more

The bar seemed to have a limited selection of items available. At the time, I only ordered a cold water. beautiful little drinking spot at the beach but must say the bartender (brunette female) is an absolute wench! she was pissed off at every drink we ordered because they (miami vice) was too difficult, threw my friends change in her face, and had a stank pout on at all times. her energy was horrible and she really tried her best to ruin the experience for us still lovely spot just hope management can give her a little pep talk because yikes! read more

Cuban coffee was good but have nothing to compare it to except regular espresso. Service stared out ok but when our order was ready I thanks them with no reply. My wife and daughter informed me that when they paid there was no "thank you". Seriously. That's the least you expect as a Cutoner. No so funny thing is, I was sitting at the bar well within earshot and everyone else got a courtesy "thank you" when paying and our as they left. We used to love having a beer here at sunset, but things seem to have changed. After buying a couple of beers, we asked for a cup of water for our pup and were told that there wasn't any. So a place selling food and drinks has no running water? Either a code violation or a lie. Someone needs to tell the new guy that the end of season isn't a good time to run off the locals. Treat locals really bad. Does not matter if u have purchased anything. It's a shame because it's a public beach and some if the empolyees are friendly people. But are told to judge based on income with face value assumption and appearance. Can't let children use restroom unless u purchase something.
