My partner took it in for me and explained in detail the issues I was having with my door handles. They then charged $145 to look at what I already told them was a problem, and wanted us to pay $560 to fix it. Said no, and now I'm out $145 for essentially no reason. read more

The Service Director will stonewall you and give every excuse why it's not there fault. But will definitely, give you the option of diagnosing the cause of the issue. If they conclude "which they will" it is your fault. You will have the pay the diagnosis fee and thousands for replacement. They don't take any 2nd opinions. Too boot! I have had previous service at this location. No issues found prior. All green check marks. I was told well, "we don't test drive". In short, I payed for a transmission flush. Except for 1 time, when I went to Earnhardt Ford, I have brought my car to berge Ford for every service. On my way to this last service, my brake light came on, telling me the brake fluid is low, service vehicle now. No problem, I'm already on my way to berge, for the works package, which is supposed to include fluid top off and inspection. To be fair, I could have mentioned the brake message. So two hours later(which is a long time for an oil change, but it gives me peace of mind that they are inspecting everything) get my car, and a report saying that my brake fluid is ok. Well next morning light comes on again, saying low brake fluid. Not a big deal, I have brake fluid, but I thought I just paid someone to do it. So now, I don't have alot of confidence that the "inspection" is being done, or at least being done correctly. read more

What started as a very bad experience, was turned into positive in the end. We pulled into the service department 15 minutes early, and was promptly greeted....... however we were left standing there with no interaction for the next 20+ minutes. We were just getting into the truck to leave when the same girl that greeted us asked if there was a problem. Oil change lights were never reset, reminder stickers were never replaced, alignments were never test driven, and factory parts were always "bad parts" when we came back in with the same problems. There were 3-4 guys in the sales tower talking, a woman at the front desk was on a computer, a woman in a cubical was on a computer and another women was in a side office. I took my truck in for an oil change, balance tires and check battery May, 2019. They told me they couldn't loosen the lug nuts to balance the tires and sent me on my way. I took it to Big O Tires and they had no problem balancing my tires. August I wake up to a dead battery and had roadside service come to find quite A LOT of corrosion on my battery. Clearly showing the mechanic never looked under the hood. I doubt if the oil change was even done. The battery was purchased from them in 2017 and still under warranty. Had the truck towed and they replaced the battery and cleaned the corrosion (no charge). Two weeks later I am stranded in 111 degree weather with 3 grand daughters 1, 2 and 3 years old with a dead battery. Waited 2 hours for my daughter to pick us up with car seats. The tow service came to find the posts were very loose and easily came off. In addition there was still visible corrosion telling me the posts were not thoroughly cleaned. The posts are only a year old so they were not the problem. It was a matter of not tightening the bolt. I have purchased two vehicles from Berge Ford and had my vehicle serviced there for years. For the most basic service of hooking up a battery I can't tell you how frustrated I am at the level of service I have received in just the last 4 months. I am a grandmother of 5 and basically a taxi service. For fear of being stranded I agree to any replacements needed. For a mechanic to let me drive away with corrosion on my battery in the heat of Arizona is unacceptable. Then to let me drive away again with loose cables is beyond comprehension. read more

You know that sinking feeling in your gut when you realize you trusted the wrong person? It's like you feel physically ill and so incredibly stupid for trusting someone you shouldn't have, which in turn screws up your life. I promise you, you will absolutely regret coming here. I took it to Larry Miller Ford to get it replaced. I went online and scheduled an appointment. I even dropped my car off an hour early. I didn't want to wait around for it so I dropped it off and figured I would get it the next day. The guy said that they would let me know Monday morning. When I called Monday at 10am for an update, they acted like they had no clue my car was even there. Then they said that they actually wouldn't get to it until Monday evening or Tuesday morning. I truly don't understand why it would take so long when I scheduled a freaking appointment. I called Tuesday at lunch and a woman told me that they still haven't gotten to my car and sent me to Justin's voicemail to try to get an update. Still nothing. I didn't just show up. I actually scheduled an appointment AND dropped my car off early. This isn't fixing a DVD player or a vacuum. This is someone's vehicle, their livelihood. I think in this scenario, I'm the really stupid one. Two years ago, I went through a similar situation with this exact same place. I thought I would give them another chance since my car is a Ford. Why in the world are they even offering appointments? It clearly means nothing. It just gives the illusion that they are organized, professional and know what they are doing. Before Larry H Miller bought the dealership and it was Berge Ford I did business when them for 16 years never had a problem. In the last 2 years since I have bought 2 Rangers from them. The first time I had some problems but it just changed hands so I decided to give them a second chance. And that was a big mistake. I will tell one of things that went wrong. They mailed the pay off for my trade in to the wrong place. I had to make a payment so I would not have that on my record. I truly never leave bad reviews & try really hard to give the benefit of the doubt, but the experience we had here left us feeling extremely disrespected & uncared for. Steven was our salesman & he was the only pleasant part of our experience. (Seriously- ask for him if you do go)! We got a call that someone backed out of the exact car that we were wanting & we could come look at it asap. We left what we were doing & headed straight there. They were calling others interested in the vehicle, but we were lucky enough to get there before anyone else! We got the keys to take it for a test drive & loved it. After we got back, another couple was outside waiting, so Steven handed us the contract & let us know that the next couple would be looking at the car so if we were interested to sign the paper & we could get started on financing. He left us for a minute & walked right back to let us know that another salesman, Daniel, had offered the contract to the other couple so they could sign it first & have the car. Yes, while we were out driving it. We signed the paper anyway & Steven fought for us, but apparently "first come first" isn't about who shows up for the car first, it's who signs the paper first. I get this is a "sales job" but this was a super grimy & disrespectful way to go about it. If we knew people could be so rude, we would have signed it prior to driving. I'm still in disbelief that they would allow another couple to sign a contract to a car while we were driving it. Like, imagine loving a car & driving what you think is about to be yours, only to hear that someone who hasn't even see the car was offered it so they could take it from us. The manager told us "it's not grimy, it's sales". Steven said if he knew something like this could happen, he would have absolutely offered the paper to us before anything. I think we were all a little shocked at how rude & unethical this entire ordeal was. I really do try to understand the others person side in things, but the more I think on what happened, the more unfair & completely inconsiderate this situation feels. If I could give it a negative star review I would. Showed up for my scheduled service appointment that was set up weeks out only to be told that it will be another week for them to even look at it. I said ok I'll take the vehicle and bring it back when you all have time, even though I had an appointment. The service tech said if I took the vehicle then my car would go to the back of the line and it would be like this again when I brought it back. So already irritated I said fine since I was already there. They where going to fix a tire that they installed not even a year prior and look at the transmission. After a week the tech told me they took it on three road test drives and couldn't find an issue with the transmission. Then they told me that they would have to order a replacement tire from another state and it would take a day to get it. All this time I was never called and given any status updates I had to keep calling them as they where to busy to keep me updated apparently. More days go by and still no news so I again keep calling them and wonder why it takes so long for a tire. After several weeks from my drop off I finally got the tech to call me back and said it was done. When I went in to pick up my vehicle the tech was apologetic already I'm sure he sensed I was irritated that it took two weeks for them to fix a tire. As I was leaving and got into my vehicle I noticed there was a massive crack going through my windshield right over the view of the driver and new rock chips! I thought I was done with this nightmare of a dealership but nope. I went back to the tech and asked them where to report the vehicle damage that they did and he didn't answer. He did go move my vehicle to the side and take pics of the damage. He then was informed his manager was busy in a meeting and couldn't be bothered with this. So the tech told me I was good to take off, I said no I want something in writing saying that this happened before I leave. The tech put it in writing and gave me a statement saying it most likely happened on the test drives, ya no shit. As I was about to leave I saw the manager back in his office so I went and talked to him since the tech didn't. The service manager then came out and took more pics and said he would look over their security video footage and call me in one to two days about the next steps. Never heard from him again. I have called several times over two more weeks and still no call back. They have zero customer service skills and damaged my car! Save your self the headache and never come here. read more

The car has a outlet in it, so we can plug in her O2 tank to electricity, well today the plug was pushed in.. so I couldn't plug it in to the outlet. I dropped my car off at 930 on Friday (7/26) morning to get a recall serviced. I hadn't heard from them by 545pm so I called the representative Fernando Pacheco but didn't get an answer so I left a voicemail asking about the status. No return. I called again with the same response. I called the sales center to see if anyone could help me out. All I got was to come back the next day at 715am. I start work at 7 am so without a car I would miss work. I went down to the center to talk to someone and was refused help. They said it was my problem for not coming to get my car even though 1. No one called me to let me know it was finished and 2. I did call but got no answer or return call. They also asked why I didn't ask for a loaner car, but then said they didn't have a loaner car for me to take. They didn't say they couldn't call anyone, they said they refused to call anyone to open the lot for me. That they didn't want to disturb their employees on their time off. For 20 mins they refused to help me and told me they didn't need to because I wasn't their customer. He offered $10 for an Uber, which I consider a slap in the face. Then they told me they were calling the police to escort me off property. While the manager, Brian, was waking away, he told me to go fuck myself. I was recording the incident and he tried to grab my phone out of my hand. When the police got there I explained my situation and they were very understanding. Unfortunately, since it's private property, they couldn't force Brian to help me out. I told the police that I would leave if Brian came out and gave me an apology. I had him get a second opinion at Horne Mazda where I work and he did not need tires !! My 2022 F-250 with 9200 miles died on the way to Show Low, which in itself was very disappointing. We were pulling our travel trailer when this happened. Apparently, Ford will only tow to the nearest Ford dealership which was in Payson. We called them and spoke to a very transparent lady and she told us they wouldn't be able to look at the truck for 3 weeks at the earliest. Thank god for Triple-A. They towed us to Larry H. Miller because it fits inside the 100-mile-aloud millage. When I got there I was directed to a gentleman named Mel who was such a great guy and helped us. The big plus was I was allowed to keep my trailer on their lot until my vehicle was repaired. They said they would look at it on Monday and to my surprise they did, Mel reached out to me early that day and told me where they were and when my truck would be done, which it was done when he said. It was a completely hassle-free experience and now they have earned my repeat business. I would like to give a shout-out to Mel and the Tech that repaired my F250.
