Chicharrones en salsa roja (yummy!) beans and rice were great too!

I came back to try their different taco meats! I always got to test the tacos lol. They have several kinds. I tried the asada, carnitas, pastor, cabeza and chicharrón prensado. All of the were very good! The seasoning on each of them was super tasty and tender. Oh! And I think their corn tortillas are made fresh because they had that really fresh corn flavor. Delicious! In going back for more soon.

Menudo! Look at all the toppings and home made tortillas!

We were passing through and looking for a good menudo place for my friend. This place was hopping! People waiting in line for their Sunday morning menudo and posole! The staff was friendly and attentive. Loved the place! Oh and the cafe de olla was perfect! Strong and not to sweet!

This is the spot if you're looking for an authentic home cooked Mexican meal. The service is always on point. It doesn't matter that it's 30 minutes before they close, the ladies are always very welcoming. The menu has so many options I always have a hard time picking what to get. But, you can't go wrong with anything you pick. The portions are perfect and always freshly made. The torta's bread is soft and perfectly filled with all the good stuff. The gordita was crispy, packed and very filling. The place is maintained clean and if you're lucky you can catch an episode of la Rosa de Guadalupe while you eat.

I've been coming here since I was 12 with my parents and now at 27 I still find myself coming back time and time again. The food is just as amazing as it was when I first tried it all those years ago and the service is always great. My go to order is always the burrito mojado but the rest of the menu is delicious as well. I've recommended this restaurant to many of my coworkers and friends and they have enjoyed it just as much as me. I would 100% recommend eating here !

I love their coffee here but especially the burritos! Best burritos!!…read more They do get a little busy and wait times can be long but worth the wait. Lovely staff as well :)

LFTD recently made an announcement that they are being evicted by their landlord and will close…read moredown this brick-and-mortar location by the end of this year (December 29th, 2025). A week before the announcement was made, I came here to try their famous blue tortilla breakfast burrito. [Parking]: There's a free public parking structure located one block away from the coffee shop (6738 Comstock Ave, Whittier, CA 90601). [Atmosphere]: Super crowded on Sunday & I was not able to find a place to sit. I ultimately ordered my breakfast burrito to-go. They also have a section of cafe that sell vintage clothing. [Menu]: For the signature breakfast burrito, they actually have 6 options - classic breakfast burritos (bacon - $16.50), Prime Steak (grass-fed prime steak $20.50), the Ultimate Burrito (grass-fed prime steak + avocado + bacon), Chilaquiles ($15.50), Chorizo ($16.00), and Vegan ($16.00). They also sell their cold brew cafe de olla in giant plastic bags that look like IV drip bags at the refrigerated section. [Ordering]: Customers can order at the cashier counter or order via kiosk (they use Toast). I reviewed their breakfast burrito options at 12 PM and they ran out of classic breakfast burrito. I ended up with prime steak breakfast burrito instead. Unfortunately I waited 45 minutes before they had my order ready and I could tell other customers were not too patient with their orders as they kept walking up to the pick-up counter & checked the ordering status. *** Prime Steak Breakfast Burrito (grass fed prime steak, scrambled egg, Monterey Jack cheese, crema, pico de gallo, tri-colored peppers, hash browns - $20.50): Unlike other breakfast burrito I have had at other places, this breakfast burrito had blue tortilla. The portion was a bit smaller than I expected, but chewy steak + crispy hash browns + roasted peppers + red salsa = one delicious and s-tier tasting breakfast burrito. *** While LFTD serves one of the best 5-star worthy breakfast burritos I have ever had in LA + Orange County, I have to take off a star due to extremely long wait time on food order. Please do yourself a favor and place an online order at least 30 minutes ahead of time if you want to try their breakfast burritos ( https://www.toasttab.com/local/order/lift-6701-greenleaf-ave ).

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful because I always have a hard time building a custom bowl. There are just so many toppings to choose from! I ended up getting a mix of the Blue Coconut and Huckleberry bases. For the toppings, I went with a variety of different options based on what the employee recommended as the most popular. I loved everything, and it all tasted super fresh. At $11 for a small, I thought the portion was very reasonable, especially if you load up on toppings. It was so refreshing and so good. I would definitely get it again.

Fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying every time. Zack helped with my order and was incredibly friendly and attentive. I mentioned a peanut allergy and he thoughtfully grabbed all of the ingredients from the back fridge rather than using the ones at the counter to help avoid any possible cross-contamination. That extra care was really appreciated. Another nice touch was the complimentary coffee station near the cashier with oat milk and raw sugar available for guests. This location is inside Rodeo 72. The Blue Bowl space itself is on the small side, but there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating nearby to relax and enjoy your bowl.
