TL;DR: assaulted at this location I had an appointment for a clear and brilliant laser facial at the Sacramento location. I arrived on time and checked in. After some delay, they brought me back for numbing and B***a told me to wipe off the numbing cream after 10-15 minutes. I did and noticed by face was not feeling numb by the time N*****a came in to perform the laser facial. I told her when she started using it on my skin that my face did not feel numb, and she told me the cream should have been left on for 30 minutes. I told her that B***a had left it on for 10-15 minutes and to stop using the device on me because it was hurting me, but she did not stop. Instead she continued after I told her to stop and that she was hurting me, and I had to pull my face away from her. I then asked to have my face properly numbed before continuing and the woman from the front desk returned and told me they did not have time to do that today. It was not acceptable to continue administering a painful treatment after being told to stop. Nor was the issue properly handled and resolved by the front desk. There was no apology. Instead, they told me to come back in two weeks. It seemed like they were running late and decided to not administer the numbing cream properly because they were short on time, causing me extreme pain and discomfort. UPDATE: my skin is still red and very irritated after nearly a week and I have some scarring. I have tried repeatedly to get in contact with the physician that allegedly supervises this facility for medical follow up and the woman at the front desk informed me she does not know who the doctor is and they have never even met the doctor. I have also tried to get the license information for that doctor and the two purported nurses who treated me and Laseraway refuses to give me this information. This is horrifying. read more

He was very informative on what to expect with finishing my laser package and calculated maintenance deals for me in the future. Initially, when I requested a full service, they offered me what I needed, later after paying, they came indicating that it was not FDA approved, however quite easy to google and find out the truth. Be careful I do not like to give bad reviews; anyway, people need to know their poor customer service, someone comes and tells you something, later another one comes and does the opposite. So I was really new to the cosmetic procedure world and frankly, I was really nervous about it. You see horror stories of procedures going wrong and that just stuck in my head. Well, time marches on and before long its marching across your face and you feel a new sense of urgency because let's face it, we all want to look our best selves. I thought I was going to be told I needed this and that and I was going sit there and watch my bank account dwindle to nothing but thats not what happened at all. I had such the opposite experience. I spoke with Traci at the Sacramento, CA office and she walked me through the entire process, at MY pace so that I understood everything that was going to happen. There were zero hyped up promises about the results I could expect from any given procedure. I was shown unaltered before and after photos of clients and was given realistic expectations about results, discomfort, everything. Traci is so wonderful to work with, she genuinely wants to help you look and feel your best. She also really put my mind at ease about the whole process. So on the day of my appointment I felt really good about what was going to happen and everything went smooth as silk. I had cool sculpting done and the process went exactly as described and exactly as planned. My recovery was a breeze and Traci made every effort to make sure I was doing ok long after my procedure was completed. I was so impressed with the service quality that I returned and had a thermage treatment done on my face. Once again Traci was there to walk me through every step pre and post procedure to ensure I received the highest level of care possible. Now I have a couple procedures completed and I am well on my way to achieving the look that makes me feel good about myself. I really wish I had found Laser Away sooner! I can't thank Traci enough for her caring, compassionate and patient manner of care. She made me feel so comfortable about everything that was happening and she worked hard to make me feel like a person and not some cash cow for the industry. Seeing as no stars is not an option. I'm just hoping that this review saves someone else from wasting a couple thousand dollars. I should've known when they did my consultation over the phone that that was not a good idea. I ended up spending almost $2000 for six treatments of clear and brilliant after my third treatment I noticed that the clear and brilliant was not working at all. It was not addressing my texture issues. Once I brought up my concerns, they said that I needed to buy more treatments in order to start seeing results. After I came in for my second round of treatments, the technician informed me that I still seeing results because I wasn't even really a good candidate. She told me I needed to go to a dermatologist. First off I don't even have that bad of skin...I ended up contacting the manager and speaking with her about how dissatisfied I was spending all that money and not seeing any results. The confusion and information that was coming to me from my consult where they wanted to get my money to the actual services that were being done where they said I wasn't even a candidate. I tried to get a prorated part of my money back for the unused treatments seeing as they were not gonna work. They informed me, they don't give refunds, and that I could purchase another treatment that would actually work for me. The whole thing is a nightmare. Once a month appointments for 6 months waste of time!!! I would just recommend spending the same amount and going to a Dermatologist. This is not a place for people that want to see results. Maybe if you're addressing hair removal but as far as skin treatments TOTAL WASTE OF $2,000 dollars!! Seems like a scam to me. I started treatment for laser hair removal at the Folsom location and finished my last few sessions at this location. Overall very displeased with the outcome. I paid full price for the sunset package and at the end, a nurse did an evaluation that determined I was not close to 80% of hair reduction. I went to all appointments & followed all tips. I was supposed to get a call from corporate which never happened. After a few months I was able to get in touch with someone. They told me the spots I was treating were "hormonal" & offered me 2 free sessions which wouldn't do much so I declined them. I regret spending all the money I did. read more
