I've been to LA for a few different services and I'm currently getting my tattoo removed. I'm not an expert but I've had over 15 sessions and I must say that the nurse Kayla at LA Sacramento is the best by far. She's the only person who specifically adjusted the machine to get the ink to respond to the treatment. She took a little bit longer on my tattoo than what I normally experience and the difference was noticeable in the weeks after. She also bandaged the tattoo in a way that stayed on and sealed in the vaseline so I didn't have to redo it as soon as I got home (which is what I'm used to doing). Jennifer at the front desk also took care of me and made me feel like a valuable customer. Needless to say I highly recommend LA Sacramento for any service because they are a cut above the other places out there. read more

She even called us back to finish up as I got company during our call. She was sweet,patient,kind,knowledgeable and honest. We both fell in love her immediately. To be honest, I was skeptical about the chain cosmetic places. However, after several visits, I have to say that I enjoy my visit at Laser Away in midtown Sacramento. People at front desk always greet me warmly and answer my questions as much as they can. I feel comfortable going in Laser Away in midtown Sacramento. And Evan!!! Evan is super awesome and has the bestest customer. I can always talk to Evan regarding the services I am looking for, financial concerns, treatments and results. This place is WONDERFULLY staffed! Easiest treatment I've ever experienced! They called me back with a minute or two of arriving! The front desk girls are super friendly and put me at ease from the beginning. Today was my 1st appointment and I was a little on edge. As soon as we started treatment my Nurse technician was so attentive and efficiently went through each treatment area. The service was different then what I experienced in the past being that there was no messy gel! The laser has a cool air blast that soothes your skin as it's treated so you literally feel MINIMAL discomfort... I am definitely telling my friends and family who have been on the fence about it that they will absolutely be pleasantly surprised! I love this place, no judgement just genuine people that are friendly,caring, helpful and best of all encouraging. They do not make you feel bad about things that make you feel insecure, more they make you feel included and less like an outsider. I have been insecure about my random hairs but these wonderful people showed me that you are not alone and that it's "normal" to be hairy lol. I would recommend this place to anyone who will listen. Had a great phone experience with Zhaleh, the patient care coordinator. Called midtown location, Zhaleh answered "it's a beautiful day at Laseraway!" in a very very sweet voice. I couldn't help but smile and feel that the day is indeed beautiful (even though I woke up overworked and tired). She spent 45 mins with me on the phone - I had called just to book an appointment with a specific nurse (given prior bad experience with Tammy as below). My faves shannon and tanzi left the location. Zhaleh, in her calm sweet caring demeanor, booked me with a new nurse (fingers crossed) and made me feel great about the upcoming appointment. She then asked if I had any other questions for her. Given this opening - very well done zhaleh - I asked if the lip cost had gone down or any deals on upper lip. She did her math, gave me the price, and it's neither worse nor better than the ones quoted in the past. But given her KIND voice and pleasant caring genuine soul shining through the phone, I ended up paying for the package this time :D She got me. Got my initial laser treatment at the San Jose and Dublin Location years ago and did a touch up package as well. When I moved here a few years back, I repurchased a touch up service. The front desk told me to do my service every 6 weeks even though my previous touch service was more spaced out but listened to the "experts" thought I would repurchase through this location another touch up and space it out. There's a few different deals going on and I was hoping to pay close to what I paid the previous two times but expecting a 20-30 percent increase, since it's been two years, wrong 200 percent mark up and apparently none of those deals or claims work for larger areas or for repeat customers customer, just a trick to get you on. Hate that there's no consistency with their pricing or transparency. They state they give a 55 percent discount to existing customers but that's a joke when the actual price is so marked up. Spoke to two reps at this location and both were condescending and rude. Only went here cause it was the closet and didn't want to have to drive back to the bay anymore. read more
