Came here at the suggestion of my friend, who lives out this way! My hubby and I met up with my friend and her husband for a lunch date. Parking was a breeze as it wasn't crowded to be at an outlet. All the staff were extremely nice and helpful. My hubby ordered the BUTTER CAKE as a starter(he likes dessert first ‍). Let say this butter cake was like a rendition of a cookie/ cake combo! It was moist and delicious butter a little gooey it was AMAZING !!! It was the star for sure! I ordered the ravioli and it was soooo good!!! My hubby ordered salad and birria tacos. He didn't care for the salad much lol but he enjoyed the . My friend ordered the chicken and waffles. She said everything was yummy. She said it was a perfect portion!!! A party of three, we had a lovely experience with Hailey (forgive me if spelling...). We shared the Seared Ahi Tuna salad to start that was very fresh and crispy, mandarin cucumbers avocado cucumbers and more. - Chicken and Waffles was the first order. Excellent moist chicken breast fried with a heavenly house gravy. Belgium dense tasty waffle with maple syrup and fruit choice. - Avocado Toast with heirloom tomatoes, arugula and feta cheese topped by not one but two eggs cooked at your choice. Side of fresh berries. I had the Alaskan Halibut citrus panko crust, risotto with lemon dill sauce. Accompanied with Sautéed broccolini. Cooked to perfection, flaked fish, tasty risotto and delicious layered of flavors sauce. - About 2:30 Sunday afternoon I chose accidentally a Rose Chateau De Berne Romance, France which was very nice crisp and smooth a bit of lemon, oak and buttered to my recollection. My family recently went to Latitude 34 to celebrate my son's birthday after I received several very good recommendations from friends. As it was a Saturday night, I did make a reservation and upon arrival they did seat us right away. The table the hostess walked us to was broken and leaning down about 2 inches on one side. We requested either a different table or for someone to fix that table and though we waited a bit no one appeared. My daughter-in-law got down on the floor and fix the table herself so we could sit down. Our server was very nice, and immediately greeted us and took our drink order. We all requested water in addition to our drink order and although we reminded him several times, we never did get our water. We were pleased with the quality of the food, and we ordered two desserts to share, which were delicious. I don't know that I will rush to go back as the ambience left something to be desired. It was loud to the point of us not even being able to hear each other across the table. Perhaps I was expecting something more upscale and quiet. In addition, they said it's near the kitchen which added to the noise. read more

I can't comment on the food because my visit didn't get that far. The service is the issue here, or lack of it to be more precise. My wife and have wanted to try this place for a while now and finally had the opportunity last night. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and quickly seated on the patio. So far, so good. We started reviewing our menus, which had several tempting possibilities. After about ten minutes we realized that we hadn't even been acknowledged by the waiter working that area- no quick hi, be with ya in a second, nothing. This while the waiter is servicing a couple of other tables near us. Hmmm. We waited another few minutes, then figured they didn't want our business. As we were leaving a patron at another table pointed us out to the waiter, who just smirked and continued on as though it was not out of the norm there. Bomb! Ok start to finish. Pulled in and said oh no it's at the outlets it must be a chain and lame? Had reservations so I am hungry and going for it! Started w the trio flight margarita an old fashioned and the Polenta Lasagna. Oh and a cup of the lobster bisque. Margaritas so good fav was prickly pear but all 3 were great. Old Fashioned was ok standard but the Yuzual whiskey was so good, very smooth. Loved the bisque, perfect purée! The champagne vinaigrette was light and delicious. Entrees: Sea-bass was delightfully delicious. Light flakey, moist and perfect. I recommend this combo if you want to try a lot in means of dessert drinks and apps. We also had the Brie chicken. If you like Malibu chicken or chicken Gordon-blue you will like this because it's better. Dessert: Don't even look any further, You want the butter cake experience. You will thank me later and your welcome! Lastly, if you feel you want something but not to eat at the end of your meal, finish it off with the S'mores Martini. Oh and when you go I believe our server was Adrien, he's the best so ask for him! Service in Ventura is lacking. It was so great to see the consistency of a new 1st time restaurant owner! Bravo! Please support this new local business owner, Chef Alex! He came out to our table and chatted for about 10 minutes and we enjoyed every minute, learning about his journey that lead him to own Latitude 34! I was super excited to come back to latitude, after my last review their business manager commented that they added a weekend happy hour... I was thrilled and ready to come back and try several happy hour items. My fiancé, 10 month old baby and I arrived at 3:11 today and left at 3:34. We sat and waited for our server, and for a high chair for 20 mins and then left. No greeting, no water, nothing. During this time we saw our hostess (who I asked to please get us a high chair when we came in) and another young man outside chatting with their friends while myself and others waited on the patio. I am beyond disappointed with the lack of service, I already had our order ready of what food and cocktails we wanted to try. Sadly, we left hungry and disappointed. I know the owners come typically to this restaurant and personally are working their butts off and running around being incredibly kind and attentive to the guests - unfortunately their staff there today dropped the ball. I feel they can better distribute the heaters. We were moved after the appetizers came so this con was only for the first 10 minutes, - Service by our main server was a little slow but it seemed as if the restaurant was understaffed. - My husband ordered the chocolate cheesecake and he thought it was OK, a little overly chocolate. - The inside of the restaurant was very bare, we would opt to sit outside again. We spent $134 for 2 adults including drinks, appetizer, dinner and dessert. We thought the pricing was fair for the quality of the food. Overall: We are already planning our next meal here. Brian our server was helpful, friendly, and so accommodating. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The bistro burger and truffle fries were the best burger and fries I ever had! The oh, I'm so full! To accompany my how do you spell buratta salad was so fresh and tasty. For dessert I wanted the cream brûlée, but was too full so we got the butter cake to go. Unfortunately you can't take the cherry gelato imported from Italy to go so we topped off our meal sharing the gelato. I forgot to get any pictures of our meal, however the table next to ours ordered the s'mores martini. I will share a picture I snapped of it. We went to happy hour yesterday and found that: (1) The staff are enthusiastic, friendly, and super competent; (2) the house wine (in our case pinot noir) is delicious; (2) the happy hour menu is really tempting; (3) we loved the taco of the day (made with filet mignon - who could ask for more?); (4) the beef sliders with bacon were so good I would go back today for another round (if my wife would let me!); and (5) the price was a bargain considering the high quality and generous portions. Nice ambience, excellent service. Ordered Tucscan Panini sandwich (split with friend) and each ordered lobster soup. Panini was a grilled chicken, cheese, eggplant, onion. It had glimmers of being tasty but the eggplant made it all soggy (bottom bread just wet and fell apart). My friend and I agreed, she's like, "Yeah something's not right with this. It like taste's good at first but gets soggy wet and greasier on the bottom as you eat it." We wouldn't order it again. The lobster bisque was very good. Hot tea was ridiculously expensive, so pass on that and they only give you one cup of hot water at a time. Not even a small teapot of of hot water! What a joy. Visit #2 even better than the first. Starting with just walking in, yes. A welcoming experience, which continued for the next hour or so. Impeccable service from Victor and his servers. The meal consisted a Branzino special, Sea scallops, filet mignon bites, and the calamari appetizer, which was uniquely delicate and delicious. BUT ... the filet mignon bites were big chunks, which sliced into three rich bites each. It came with sunomono prepped cucumbers and what appeared to be udon noodles, all plump and delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection, and could pass for a smallish entree easily. The branzino came with julienned vegetables, hot out the sauté pan and ( surprise! ) a cold rice pilaf in lieu of salad. This was my first experience with branzino, and I now understand why it ranks so highly at seafood restaurants. I loved its dense texture, crisped skin, the caper garnish - if it is a featured special, I urge any of you with a big appetite ( I finished my dish at home, 4 hours later ) to order it before they run out. My buddy's scallop and blackened shrimp dish was equally awesome. Dessert. Indeed. Butter cake, ice cream, yes, yes, yes. Lat 34 is my favorite Camarillo restaurant, period. read more

I've eaten here a few times, and the food was good, but I think I'll forgo the pleasure from now on. I'm pretty tired of restaurants that go out of their way to have only hard, echoing surfaces, apparently in hopes of making the atmosphere so loud you can't enjoy the experience. I also dislike the trend of websites, like theirs, that won't present a reasonable idea of the menu. In many places you have to pretend you are creating an order just to see what they offer, to decide whether to go. But these folks don't really do even that minimum - they have an incomplete list of item names, many of which are "out-of-stock"(???), but with no detail about the items or whether they are available at lunch & dinner, or what. So, why would I order them??? Oh well, I can always go to Twenty88 (Latitude's fare is suspiciously similar), where they actually want you to be attracted to their food...and I think I will! read more

I can only say that after going back, I had a wonderful and tasty cuisine experience! I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Chef Alex, a pleasant and very personable person, who looks forward to meeting his customers, takes the time to listen to listen to your palatable likes and dislikes, his food definitely entails his personal approach in serving tasteful and creative cuisine in all of his amazing dishes and definitely focuses on the details to presentation. I had The beautiful experience of having their Spanish Sangria with "The Brie Chicken", it was..... "Delicious!!" Layers of yummy!!!, I had it with a loaded potato cooked to perfection with tender seasoned vegetables, finished with the most amazing and delicious dessert..... " I will call them the best mini churros I have ever eaten, with a side of creamy crème brûlée like dipping sauce and vanilla ice cream topped with an amazing Italian cherry gelato and garnish with a bit of mint leaves !, I can only tell you that the food placed before me, never had a chance!! lol! I went back to Latitude to eat dinner had the best experience. The Food and service was amazing. I had the pleasure of meeting chef Alex he was so nice and the way he prepared the food was unbelievable. I had the chicken & Shrimp pasta with a white wine sauce.
