The food is magnificent! ITS SUPER LOUD. The main dining area is not real welcoming. It actually has the noise and atmosphere of a school cafeteria. (Invest in some sound baffles) We waited 35 minutes to be seated while 8 tables were open. After the hostess took us to our seats, our waitress (name starts with a C) served us. She wasn't really friendly and seemed to be in a hurry. (Advise to any waiter/waitress - you have no idea how the patron is going to tip, so don't prejudge. Treat every customer like family). She asked if we wanted appetizers,,, I told her we will have calamari and that I would have a cup of the lobster bisque - before anyone else could ask for an appetizer (or lobster bisque) she bolted!!! WHAT THE HELL! Okay, so maybe I will give her the benefit of not hearing (BECAUSE ITS SO DAMN LOUD!!) WHAT? WHAT DID YOU SAY?? I CANT HEAR YOU!! Anyway, after an hour of sitting and waiting, our food came. It was great. It was hot, and it was flavorful. BUT WHERE IN THE HELL IS OUR WAITRESS?? She never came back to ask if we would like more drinks or if everything was good,,, NOTHING!!! It was an additional hour (YES, WE WERE THERE FOR 2 HOURS!!!) before she came back and asked us if we wanted anything else. We finished eating 30 minutes ago!!! WHY ARE WE BEING TREATED LIKE THIS??? Anyway, not friendly, crappy service, very loud, terrible seating (and getting a seat while seats are open and waiting)... the food was great though. And I even tipped the terrible waitress 25%. We've always liked this restaurant; however, they have a new policy of automatically adding 20% "service" charge to your check. In other words, you have no choice about the tip even if the service is horrible. We generally tip more than 20% if the service is good, but I'm not leaving that much for subpar service. What a poor experience. Like the prior reviewer, we found Latitude to be VERY understaffed. After an hour plus we had to leave and our entrees were still 10-15 minutes away per our server. They did comp the drinks and appetizer, but it was a bad birthday dinner. The Calamari was very weak, some of the worst we've had. The Latitude at Stony Point has very cool ambiance and we didn't have service issues there. Recommend avoiding Westchester location. read more

It was my first time eating here with my husband and I am very glad we branched out and tried somewhere new. We happened to come during happy hour and were pleased to learn that our drinks were half off. We also shared the hellfire shrimp at our server, Savannahs, recommendation, which was just as she described.... PHENOMENAL!!!! I enjoyed the seabass... talk about melt in your mouth YUM! If I could give zero stars I would. We were told the wait would be 20-30 minutes. After 30 minutes I went in to check how much longer and they said it would now be over an hour. They actually told me they were getting ready to seat us and the kitchen said to increase the wait time. My friend recommended we eat here. I had always heard good things about both locations. We arrived and was seated right away. The tables were spaced out but every table was full. I'm not sure how I feel about that part but at my table I didn't feel as if I was too close to any one or needed to be moved. They do require mask to enter the restaurant and the staff all wore mask. It took us a little longer for the waitress to come but when she got there she served us right away and she was super nice. I had 1/2 dozen oysters on the half shell for happy hour annnnnnd let me use say they are the freshest of the freshest oysters I'd ever seen. I even asked the waitress if the had a secret ocean in the back where the oysters lived before my plate. There was a baby crab in one of the oysters. That blew my mind...I left that one alone and had a few more. Then I saw something else super fresh in another oyster and decided I had enough lol. I ordered the crab cake sandwich with the sweet tots and the sweet tots take the prize! The sandwich was good, don't get me wrong but I have NEVER experienced a sweet potato in tot form. I came here on a Saturday night with a party of four. I'd say the restaurant was 2/3 full, including two large parties of 10-12 which arrived at least an hour apart. I say all this because the kitchen was extremely slow and the restaurant was not full enough to use volume as an excuse. It probably took an hour for our food to come. Like most other recent reviews I am reading, I would say that my waiter provided good service and the food was good but they have a staffing problem in the kitchen. If you are in a hurry I would not risk coming here. This restaurant is easily 4 stars if it was not for the wait. read more

Went there this past Sunday. It took a while for the server to even appear at our table. The service was terrible--it took us an hour to get water. At one point, my husband had absolutely nothing to drink. Food was ok--my husband's crab cake sandwich had no remoulade, but did have tomato, which he asked them to leave off. We decided to try this location today for Happy Hour.The wait was "20 minutes" for dine in and outside dining. We sat in the entrance way of the restaurant. Well, the text came through on Yelp. We were number 8 in line to be seated. A whole hour went by before we got seated. Luckily we knew what we wanted to order for appetizers and our meal. The server was nice and had a pleasant attitude. The calamari was bout the same as the Stony point location but was little bit warmer when it came to the table. The hellfire shrimp was good in flavor but wasn't piping hot like we asked when we placed the order. Now, the shrimp and grits had the same flavor but this portion size wasn't like the Stony point location and it didn't have as much sauce. Noisy atmosphere like the Stony point location. read more

No manager came over to explain/apologize for delay. Ended up requesting bill for appetizers and kids' meals if dinner wasn't going to be ready in ten minutes. Take out, ordered by my son was ready. Wonder about that, since my son ordered steak. No compensation from manager for delay. So disappointed, since this was a place I favored. Ruined Mother's Day. Great food and atmosphere. Always more than one dish to choose from. Get there early on Saturday evening. It's always full.

I went there on a Tuesday evening around 6 or 7. There was a band, and it was LOUD. If you're going for the band, that might be a good thing. If you're not, it's probably not. It was too loud to have a conversation. The service was fine. We got in with no wait. I ordered the fish and chips. It wasn't anything to write home about, but it was fine. My friend ordered the fish tacos and she said they were amazing. Parking is plentiful, but I had to walk pretty far. Overall it was just a "meh" experience. read more

Came here for a birthday dinner for my mom. We had a 5:00 reservation on a Saturday and they were already SUPER busy. We were sat at the last table before the kitchen, in the bar area and it was LOUD. Unfortunately, we weren't able to be moved because we were told they were packed for reservations that evening. That was a bit disappointing because the noise level was fine - it was more how busy of an area it was, at times we were almost crowded between the servers walking in/out of the kitchen, and the bar patrons. I think we just got stuck with a crappy table... Our server was really sweet, and we never had to wait for her to check on us or anything. I ordered a steak and when the rest of our food came, the server informed me that the kitchen had overcooked it, and instead of serving it - they started a new one so there would be a slight delay in me getting my meal. It was well worth the wait, it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. The manager even came over while I was waiting to chat. GREAT food OUTSTANDING service. I ordered the Chilean sea bass, our server Angela sadly informed me that they had run out. She could see how disappointed I was and informed her manager Brad. Brad came to our table and apologized for the hiccups about our order and graciously took 50% off our meal. I ordered the stuffed Flounder (IT WAS AMAZING) shortly after our meals were served, Brad surprises me and appears at the table with a freshly grilled Chilean sea bass fillet Oscar style. He went fishing (no pun intended) for a fillet and found one! Takes the time to prepare it and serves it at NO CHARGE! The dish was mouth watering. My girlfriend and I visited here for the first time for lunch on this past Thursday. I have been craving some seafood so I was hoping that it would be just what I needed. And I am so glad that we went!! The waiter, I don't remember her name but she was super sweet and make sure we had everything we needed but a lot of space and time to chitchat and catch up. She also bags my Nightingale ice cream bar so I can make it 20 minutes back home and it lasted so appreciate that!! Now let's talk about the food! We got the salmon dip which was so delicious!! A great place for people that love seafood (me) and people that don't (my husband). We came here tonight with friends and had a great meal; we were promptly seated at our reservation time, and our server (forgot his name but he was great!) came over to get drinks/answer questions within minutes of us being seated. They do offer happy hour on Sunday until 8 which is awesome. We started with raw oysters and this is where they lose one star: the oysters themselves were good but whomever is shucking them tonight sucks. LOTS of shell in them, some not fully disconnected which is a pet peeve, but they were half price on happy hour so ‍. Two of us ended up ordering the scallops, which were large and perfectly cooked. The Brussels sprouts were a favorite across the table; they're not too spicy but had good flavor. Husband got the chicken dish and said it was one of the best he's had, especially at a "seafood" restaurant. I wish i could remember our servers name; he was really nice and checked in with us enough to be helpful but not enough to be annoying. From the time we sat down until the time the check was paid was about an hour, so service was quick and we didn't wait too long for anything. Happy hour is a good deal. The place has big open spaces for large groups but it also has private booths. The shrimp appraiser was really good. The key lime pie was out of this world. This week I stopped by for lunch with eight of my friends and really enjoyed my meal. As in previous visits, service was excellent. Considering we were a party of 9 women and a toddler. This is saying a lot! I had the crab cake sandwich which was very crabby and served with a nice soft roll, fresh lettuce, tomato and sauce. You get a choice of fries or salad and I chose the salad which has a light vinaigrette. Around the table ladies enjoyed the fish and chips, lobster bisque, lettuce wraps and another of the sandwiches. Visited Saturday March 16 2019 during brunch . This is a casual, upscale restaurant. Also, keep in mind this is not fast food. Everything is prepared as ordered. Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy this restaurant. The service staff was on point. The seafood options are numerous and our party enjoyed every bite of their food. We had the Hellfire Shrimp as appetizers. Yummy but not as hot as the name implies. Then I ordered the Lobster grilled cheese sandwich. Let me just say that thing was awesome. I've been to this restaurant a few times and every time is a great experience. They have an excellent selection of craft beers on tap and a full bar to make anything you could imagine. There is plenty of seating for a large group, and the staff has always been inviting. They also have quite a few TVs to catch any live sporting event. I've pretty much had all of their starters, and every one of them hit the spot. I haven't had too many of their main dishes, but Jenatha's Lobster Grilled Cheese and Fish Tacos were filling and tasty. Very disappointed. Went for Valentines Day - reservation for 6pm. We were seated and our waiter introduced himself then proceeded to ignore us for the next 20 minutes. I literally had to go find him so that we could get some water. After about another 20 minutes we got water and placed our order. My wife and I decided on the crab dip to start and we both got the special (lobster tail with 6oz filet). I ordered mine medium, so did my wife. I also ordered a beer. I was hopeful at that point that maybe this might be a total disappointment. I was wrong. My beer never came out. The crab dip never came out. Our waiter never came to check on us. After about 40 more mins, our entrees came out (brought by a food runner). My "filet" was well done and (this is no exaggeration) looked like a 1/4-pounder burger from McDonalds. I would've complained to our server but never saw him for another 20 minutes. On the brighter side, the lobster and veggies were good. My beer finally made its way to the table and it was cold. Still no sign of our server so I got out of my seat and asked the hostess to send the manager over. To the managers credit, she handled it well and took my dinner of the bill. She also offered us a dessert but at that point we were resigned to go get something at Wawa. Finally the waiter comes back with our check and offers a few excuses. We pay and leave. Ive had a few experiences at Latitude but this was the worst one. I'm definitely one to support local businesses but this experience has certainly soured me towards Latitude. We eat at Latitudes frequently. During the Pandemic their public safety procedures were excellent. We have several members of the serving staff with whom we have become acquainted. They are by name Missy and Katie C. In spite of the fact that they, like many restaurants, are short staffed, both of these women are professional, friendly and accommodating. We tried to eat here for Mother's Day brunch. There were only two tables with guests when we arrived. The first table was dirty and near the door. We asked to move and they offered another table near the door... it was 45 degrees out and we asked to be further from the door. The owner huffed and rolled her eyes and would not accommodate us. My mother has just died and I was having a tough morning so thankful the OWNER could be so incredibly rude. We eat here once a week but will be looking for another go to restaurant.
