    Breakfast quesadilla

I've lived in the stone oak area for over a year now and had no clue this place was here. I loved the breakfast quesadilla and the mayo or aioli that came on it. Salad wasn't really the vibe for me on the side of breakfast. Would probably ask if they could sub for fruit next time. My coffee was good and there was free WiFi for us to work there. The staff had good recs and a fair warning that they do close at like 3 or so.

A hidden gem with delicious eats and good coffee (personal faves are turkey croissant and the honey lavender latte). We have enjoyed Mother's Day and after church brunch here.

Laurel Cafe is the best local breakfast . It never disappoints. What I noticed this time was the exceptional service and the attention to detail Thanks for making us feel special It's the little things that matter

After years of passing by this cafe, we finally made a Sunday visit for breakfast. It's a clean, nicely decorated, cafe that offers a warm atmosphere to sit down and enjoy a meal. I went with the Rancho omelette and wifey did the breakfast bowl. The omelette was good, not spicy despite the description Rancho, so it was more of an English version of the dish and not the typical Mexican style that is all too common locally. Since the bakery was calling my name while in line to order, the raspberry crème pie got my attention. The crust is light and flaky with a small amount of raspberry and was good as a dessert appetizer. Yeah, that's a thing in our house. Got to meet the son of the owners family, and he was very nice and excited about their cafe. There are a variety of coffees, sweet teas , similar to a Starbucks menu, but for us non coffee lovers, a choice of a fresh brewed unsweetened tea would be a perfect complement to this place.

A must! If its been on your list, or not. If you are looking for a simple breakfast or brunch location this is it. It is a small venue so it can get packed real quick. Talking 12 tables that sit a party of 4. This place has a small bakery selection with cool pastries, and kolaches. I ordered the "Breakfast Quesadilla" w/a side of potatoes instead of a salad. It was delish!! The eggs, the ham is EGG-celent! I'm not usually one for that aioli sauce but it was really good. They also have mimosas. What I liked the most was that before I entered the building one of the brothers that work there opened the door to welcome us. The staff was very polite and helpful. I hope this place sticks around for a long time. I may have just found my go to breakfast café.

Beautiful place, in what seems to be the middle of nowhere. Found this place in Yelp because I wanted to meet a friend for coffee and cake, but we decided to also have some food. We both orders the grilled chicken sandwich, which was huge and delicious. The price was a bit high, but the size of the sandwich was pretty good and it came with a salad. In fact, the sandwich was so plentiful, that we had some to take home with us. Service was impeccable and everyone was very friendly and attentive. The sandwiches came out pretty quickly and everything was well prepared. I also ordered their chai latte, which was fairly large, as well, and pretty good. I did not order their desserts, but they looked tasty. This is definitely a place that I will visit again to try some more of their food.

Laurel Cafe is the best! I recently found this spot a couple months ago and have already been 10 plus time! I love their latte and chilaquiles but everything I have had is amazing. Service is great and the place has a good vibe to it. The staff is friendly and respectful. I will be going back soon!

Cute atmosphere yummy drinks! I got a pumpkin spice latte and my partner got a matcha latte. She wished it was a bit more matcha forward but the flavor was good. The breakfast bowl was really good. I also loved that they paired it with focaccia bread! We ordered a pancake to share and it was very good! My partner wasn't too keen on her breakfast sandwich. We both thought it would be better with focaccia bread instead of the bun with the sauce on the side but we could've definitely requested that. Overall a really great experience and the staff were extremely friendly.

For Saturday lunch, I was looking for a new place to try and found @laurelcafetx, which is not too far from where we live. One part of the window looks out to the golf course. We looked over the menu, ordered and paid at the counter. Hubby had the Egg Croissant and Cold Brew. Dad had the Kid's Breakfast with a pancake and 2 scrambled eggs, and Lemonade. I had the Chicken Salad Sandwich and Four Corners Local Buzz Honey-Rye Golden Ale. It was a great new discovery for lunch and pretty good.

This cafe being a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk from where I live could be a problem. They are absolutely delicious! WOW! Nothing was bad! My husband and I have driven past Laurel many times and we finally decided to stop in and try them. They have a very minimalist style inside and a few tables for dining outside as well. They do service alcohol and have happy hour specials posted, which is interesting for a cafe, but hey . . . Why not?! We ordered two fresh coffees which were perfect, nice earthy flavor, smooth, not acid, not bitter. The danishes were amazing! And the girl that took our order warmed them up for us so they were warm and fabulous to dip in our coffee. We also got the orange cranberry scone which was beautifully crafted, not hard and crumbly, it had a light crunch on the outside and soft on the inside, and the flavor was so good! But that breakfast sandwich was the real star, so perfect! It is served on a flaky croissant with light fluffy scrambled eggs, perfectly cooked bacon, and a fabulous jalapeño dressing. It is on the pricey side but it is worth every cent! If you drive by and see they are open, stop in and try them!

The customer service was amazing and the food was just delicious (to the point I was halfway in my dish before taking a picture) and the coffee was great. It's real sweet for lattes so make sure to order half sweet. Its quaint and the outside seating is perfect for brunch! Highly recommend for a laid-back breakfast.

We had a fantastic time here - great experience! We arrived right at 8am for breakfast on a Friday morning. There weren't many folks there yet, but you could tell that everyone who was there were regulars. The staff were so nice and helpful! The chef even popped out and chatted with us. We had two lattes - which were good! The breakfast bowl and the chilaquiles bowl. Both the meals were LARGE and SO tasty! We'll definitely come back!

    So pretty!

This time, our morning led us to Pan & Coffee, a bakery and café I picked after spotting its impressive 4.7-star Yelp rating. Pan & Coffee is located on Stone Oak Parkway in San Antonio and proved to be every bit as charming as we expected. From the moment we walked in, the café felt warm, inviting, and bright. The open, airy layout, high ceilings, and oversized windows bathed the space in natural light. First, the bakery case immediately steals your attention. Rows of beautifully crafted pastries behind perfectly constructed glass cases practically beg you to take one or three home. Smile. Their selection includes flaky croissants, colorful conchas, sticky monkey bread, cinnamon rolls, fruit-filled pastries, and other freshly baked treats. My brother and I couldn't resist ordering a cinnamon roll and a lemon pastry, and both were absolutely delicious. The pastries were generously sized, making them perfect for sharing or keeping all to yourself. For breakfast, I ordered the avocado toast while my brother chose one of their breakfast sandwiches. Both dishes arrived with generous portions and were fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Pan & Coffee also shines when it comes to its beverage menu. In addition to traditional espresso drinks, they offer creative specialty lattes infused with Mexican-inspired flavors, including the Dulce de Leche Latte, Brown Sugar Latte, Café de Olla, and the unique Concha Latte. I got the Brown Sugar Latte, which was warm and super flavorful. Great bonding with my big brother and first time experience at Pan & Coffee.

The latter I waited I would say at least 25 minutes for. No, that's not a typo. You could argue I should have asked for a refund or just left, but I already felt committed at this point. I watched them batch up 10 drinks at a time, work on them a bit, walk away, come back and do the next step, then walk away again. Batching drinks makes sense for an order. It doesn't make sense for the whole restaurant. People who ordered 15 minutes after me were getting their stuff at the same time. Drinks at the end of batch were fresh and hot, drinks at the front were of course sitting for that entire time. I could see they were busy, and I prefer to not give people a hard time, but at minute 20 I finally asked if my drink was still being made. I got a shoulder shrug, then she checked and then it was finished and handed to me. No apology for the wait. Apparently I should have asked 15 minutes prior Again, the pastries and coffees are fine. None of them are worth the time spent waiting for them.

It was a 10 out of 10 experience overall. The service was fine but the food really stood out. I ordered the burger and fries which were surprisingly delicious. The chips and queso were also really good which says a lot since I'm not usually a chips and queso person. Prices were very reasonable as well which we all appreciated. My friend ordered the mini crab cakes and loved them especially because they weren't heavily breaded. Overall no real complaints except one of the lemon drops came out without the sugar rim that was listed on the menu and our server did not seem interested in correcting it.
