It's right around the corner from my place which makes it even better. The food is always so tasty. It reminds me a place I ate when I lived in California and in Arizona. We picked up several things for dinner with friends: wonton and hot-and-sour soups, egg rolls, steamed dumplings, crab rangoon, and a couple dinners--szechuan chicken and kung pao chicken. The employees were beyond friendly and helpful. When I asked about a garlic chicken entree, I was told they don't have one on the menu but would be happy to make a stir-fry of chicken, veggies, and garlic sauce if I wanted. We were offered water or tea and refills while waiting for our food and our food was expertly packaged to avoid a disaster en route. I loved my won ton soup and I'm currently craving more. My szechuan chicken had fresh, crisp peppers and broccoli in a spicy sauce with chicken. Inside is very clean and quiet. There were only a couple tables occupied but it wouldn't be awkward to eat in. A Tuesday evening sees this venue pretty vacant. I walked in with my family of 4(wife and twin 3yr old girls) and we were warmly greeted by staff/owners. The tables have paper covers which are great for our artistic kiddos. Atmosphere is quiet and pleasant. We started with soup. Wife and kids shared some egg drop and I had the hot and sour all to myself. Easily the best hot and sour soup I've ever had. Wife's main dish was the sesame chicken; delicious sauce, crispy breading, tender chicken. Kids shared the vegetable soft noodles and (surprisingly) enjoyed it very much. My main course was the Singapore Noodles. A fantastic dish with a great variety of flavors and textures. Yellow curry, rice noodles, chicken, shrimp, pork, green onion, mushrooms. This has been some of the best Asian cuisine I've had in the area at a cozy restaurant with excellent staff. A truly wonderful experience. read more

It was pretty good. I realized after going there that I am not a huge Chinese food fan, but LC's gave me hope. I had to totally modify the lunch menu to make it so I could eat. As far as take out Chinese goes this place is a 5! The portion sizes are huge, you can easily take a combo and buy an extra egg roll and two people will be full, with leftovers. For $21 carry out this is what we ordered (easily could have fed 3-4 adults): -wonton soup - I was feeling a little sick and this hit the spot. There were about 6 wontons in a quart. Broth, cabbage & wontons. -pan fried pot stickers - Filled with a pork filling and comes with a nice soy dipping sauce -egg rolls, fine typical of any restaurant -generals chicken. It was incredibly crispy, even crispy the next day as leftovers. Impressive. The sauce was mild, but had good flavor. There was no broccoli, which is typical of this dish. Ummm... not sure how this place has so many positive reviews or had a mad carry business on a Thursday night while I was dining in. This is just a run of the mill Chinese restaurant. That's really the only cuisine on menu with exception of handful of Thai dishes. I ordered pad Thai. Is was below average and the sauce had consistency of soup. Egg drop soup tasted like raw eggs. Vegetarian spring roll tasted like nothing. My date ate the a chicken dish and it was extremely salty. I sent back the Diet Coke because it did not taste like any diet I have ever had. They did replace with a regular coke that tasted fine. Service was poor. There were 2 ladies running dine in, carry out, Register and phone by themselves. The place inside has children's toys on both ends of the restaurant. Thought the food was over priced for quality and taste. I will not be returning. Food here is great. I've tried the Pepper Steak, Almond Chicken, Chicken with Broccoli and Egg Drop Soup, and I would order them all again. My husband was excited to try this place because it's close to our house. He ordered crab Rangoon, which he said was the best he's ever had. Then be ordered N 5 which was on the noodles menu, beef and vegetables with these Cantonese style noodle. They came separately and were rock hard. The food had the right amount of spice for both hot and mild dishes. We carried out from here on Christmas day, and definitely will be back! Their menu has a ton of options whether you want vegetarian, chicken or even vegan. I ordered the tofu with vegetables and my fiance ordered his usual general tsao chicken dinner (which comes with an egg roll and fried rice). The food was ready very quickly and was still hot when we got back to the apartment. Everything smelled absolutely amazing and tasted just as good! The veggies were cooked perfectly with a little crunch to them and the sauce was delicious. My fiances chicken may have been one of the top 5 general tsao he has ever ordered. You could tell that it was actually white meat chicken, not mystery meat, which I am thankful for. I couldn't help but sneak some pieces, my only wish is that they included broccoli with it ( since that's what I usually pick off his plate lol). Next time I will definitely be trying the general tsao tofu (I have never seen this before and I'm pretty excited!). I'm not really sure why this place has four stars, it has a reasonable price for a lot of food but is like many meh Chinese places when it comes to flavor and taste. I got the Mongolian beef and Kung pao chicken which while looking a little promising were just more or less the same kinda bland brown stir fry sauce. The fried rice is kinda then usual just brown colored rice with some egg in it. I wasn't really impressed and wont likely return again. I considered making the trip to Thang Long in the Heights but wanted something more familiar that I knew I could count on. This was only my second visit to LC's but it's probably the best basic Asian restaurant around. The dumplings were good, the spring rolls were good, my Creamy Walnut Shrimp was very good and my girl's chicken curry was OK too. While this place does offer dining in, it's best suited for take outs. The restaurant is sterile with tiled floors and feels very cold, both in decor and temperature. Cute, but probably inappropriate, is the owner's very young daughter that uses the restaurant dining area as her playhouse and regularly walks up to tables to engage customers in conversation. The food is good quality but unfortunately very bland. I've tried 3 different entrees here and found all 3 to have very little flavor. For Almond Boneless Chicken fans, I'd avoid this here. It took me awhile to come around to LCs, but I am a fan. they have new owners, but still do a great job. The strong point is that most of their fried food is crispy, even when doing carryout. They put some sauces on the side which helps. I would like a little more vegetables with several dishes. I'm pretty sure when I get General Tso's Chicken or Sesame Chicken, there's no veggies... just meat. Which is cool, but I like veggies too! Plus they make me feel less guilty about bingeing on Chinese food. The fried rice they serve with meals is a bit underwhelming... as are the egg rolls. But everything else is solid.
