I discovered this place on a quick break while working and can't wait to go again. It's a great cafe with outdoor seating that is amazing in this weather. I went with a couple co-workers and we wound up getting a blueberry muffin, apple/cranberry tart and southwest quiche. You order at the counter when you walk in and then wait for your food at the table. It was very busy when we arrived, and I felt a bit rushed to make my decision and order since the line was moving very quickly. If it's your first time, I'd suggest taking one of their menus and getting a chance to really look over it. I missed their hot tea selection until I'd already ordered and have to go back to try the pomegranate mojito tea, it smelled amazing. Everything we ordered was great! Both of the people I was with aren't big fans of sweets, but ate every bite of their pastries. The tart was particularly good. The quiche I got was very scrumptious with airy, buttery eggs and a great flavor. I do wish there was a bit more green chile and a little less corn in the southwest quiche, but it was still good. Best of all was their prickly pear iced tea, which is one of the best I've had in Tucson. This is a great little breakfast spot, and right down the road from Mt. Lemmon/Sabino Canyon, so I can't wait to take out of town guests here! read more

Anytime I come to Tucson to visit my family, I stop at Le Buzz. Honestly, I crave it. I love the speciality drinks but the breakfast options are amazing!! I love the burrito and the quiche. Plus all the pastries are fresh. It's a great local spot for breakfast or lunch. It's also family friendly - my toddler loves it. The outdoor dining works fine or you can order to go. I found this place through yelp when I was in town for a staycation. The boyfriend and I were looking for a place to have a scrumptious breakfast to start off the day, and based on previous reviews Le Buzz seemed to take the cake. As we pulled up the place was definatly busy, which is usually a pretty solid indicator that the food is good. We both ordered egg breakfast sandwiches and coffee. I thought the coffee was delicious (black), and my boyfriend really enjoyed his latte as well. This seems to be a great place to come for coffee, the list of offerings was rather impressive and almost overwhelming. Our sandwiches were fairly priced and surprisingly filling and delicious. I highly recommend Le Buzz to people living in the area. I wanted to try out some of the delicious tarts and cakes that were showcased, but didnt end up buying any since we didn't have a refrigerator in the hotel room. There was plenty of room to dine either inside or out, we chose to dine on the patio. Service was attentive. This is definitely a great place to come and people watch; as many reviewers have mentioned, there are tons of spandex clad bikers waltzing around. read more

Soft spot for this cafe. The bikers and climbers beginning. Their pastries are delish. Nice and flakey where it is needed. Their panini is very different from typical paninis. Bread is thicker and fluffier. Not really my ideal bread for a panini. But everything else was great. Just wish they closed later! read more

I ordered a salad Nicoise. What i got was spring mix, with 2 scoops of tuna salad, some olives, radishes, cherry tomatoes, and some boiled potatoes. I had their iced tes, asked for some stevia, NEVER arrived. Always should have an anchovy and green beans! And real TUNA steak! The bakery looked ok. So maybe that should be a coffee place. I almost didn't go here because of the cheezy 1980's logo, but boy am I sure glad I did. The pastries are absolutely amazing. Now that I'm not in Tucson, I dream of the LeBuzz cookie and the delicious light and airy scones. I owned a bakery for 15 years and so going to other bakeries is always tough for me as I have such high standards, but the quality of products at Le Buzz does not disappoint. The only thing that was a little clumsy was the service as I usually order multiple things. There was a lot of back and forth communication between the person serving us, the register person, and us. I felt a bit rushed to finish my order whereas I should have felt compelled to order more things. At our bakery, we would place everything on a tray as the customer ordered and then when they're done find the appropriate bag or box. It really sped things up and encouraged the customer to order more while allowing everyone to keep track of the order in progress. Anyhow, just a suggestion. This is the most hipster, bike-enthusiast, and weirdest yet yummiest place ever. They have tons of different food and lots of caffeine addiction in a cup as well. What a fantastic east side spot! The quiche is divine. Their pastries are melt-in-your-mouth perfect. We took our friend's visiting from DC to Le Buzz and they loved their brunch! Everyone ordered fresh squeezed juice and I ordered the mojito lemonade and it was absolutely great for a hot summer Saturday. This spot is located near Mt. So, first Time checking this place out and I was not impressed. In my humble opinion, this is more of a coffee/pasty shop than a restaurant. I ordered the Spanish Omelette while my wife had the Blue Corn Blueberry Buckwheat Pancakes. I had a hot tea and my wife had one of their special coffee's. I was disappointed with my omelette as it was basically a cheese omelette with a few slices of chorizo and peppers thrown on top. I will say the house home fries were good but I found the omelette on the small side and disappointing. My wife enjoyed her pancakes and said they were good. Her side of bacon was also very good. This is a place where you stand in line, place your order, get your number tag, find a seat, than wait for your food to come out. Prices are a bit on the high side for what you get. They have a great selection of pastries and some good coffee drinks but the food is just so-so. We will go back just not sure when and probably only for coffee. read more

Situated near the start of the Catalina highway, LeBuzz is a popular spot for cyclists. After eating breakfast there a couple times, I'm convinced it must be their choice because of the convenient location and not the quality of the food or coffee. The prices are about reasonable, given the simple serving arrangements. The food quality is 3/5 stars and is essentially what you could cook for yourself at home. The espresso and coffee, however, are really not great. I honestly prefer McDonald's coffee. It really had no inherent flavor or taste to it that I'd usually expect from a place like this. Especially since this is Tucson, where the coffee scene is above average. The final aspect is the ambiance and overall vibe, which is completely dominated by cyclists who are generally impolite, have their bikes take up space everywhere, save seats for each other before ordering, and seem like generally unpleasant and entitled people. Not who I want to sit next to at a breakfast joint. These are my reasons why I say "non, merci" to this pseudo-francophile spot overridden with unpleasant people. read more

We headed here after worship today. It's a small place next to a Safeway market. Immediately when we walked in and read the menu and looked at the pastries I was intrigued. It was crowded so my wife got us an open table while I ordered st the counter two artichoke, sun dried tomato and Parmesan quiches. The food came quickly. And it was delicious. The quiche was packed with flavor. This is a great place with excellent food, and a diverse clientele. I would recommend it for either breakfast or lunch. We'll be back. read more

I used to love Le Buzz back when I lived on the Eastside. I'm not a coffee house kind of person but I found myself on this side of town with time to kill. First of all, for a Saturday morning at 8 am it is PACKED. We're talking people standing outside for 10+ minutes waiting for tables to clear. It's a super popular place for bicyclists heading up Mt. Lemmon, people with dogs, families and seniors. The patio is dog friendly and there were tons of dogs out. Make sure your dog(s) are calm under tons of chaos and commotion. I decided to go with an iced-coffee, side of potatoes and the oatmeal. It was all very underwhelming. The iced-coffee is watery at best. The oatmeal was smothered in this brown sugar/cinnamon syrup. I figured it would be a light sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar, not some goopy mess. The potatoes were the worst part. I love potatoes in every form. These potatoes were super oily, bland and the veggies blackened. I couldn't even recognize some of the veggies they were so black but the potatoes had no brown to them. I had three bites and couldn't finish either the oatmeal or potatoes. I hate leaving a place hungry! Overall the whole experience left me pretty sad. read more

We decided to try out this hip little coffee shop today- the gaggle of cyclists blocking the walkway and outdoor seating with bikes and bodies wouldn't stop us from finding our way inside although it appeared as though they were trying--old guys in tight shorts everywhere, on bikes, off bikes, bikes bikes bikes--- I would have walked away if I wasn't hungry!!!! Inside however- the staff was super friendly and helped us out as it was a little confusing how things work on our first time- even though twice said cyclists came and interrupted us, to the point where one young lady helping us had to stop and wait on one due to his insistent nature I felt badly for her- she was super apologetic--very professional and was replaced by another super nice woman. The place was jumping- and soon we could see why- friendly service, unbelievable coffee- and excellent food- this is our new go to for breakfast!!! Try the blue corn buckwheat blueberry pancakes they are to die for-- or in my case to break my gf streak! There are many gf options- and gorgeous baked goods- even a passable croissant! Great little café. Food is very good. Nice vibe. They would've got five stars, except the first time I went there to get the buckwheat pancakes, I asked if they were gluten-free and they told me yes, but the second time I went there, and asked to confirm it, they told me that the buckwheat pancakes do, in fact, contain some wheat. Most people wanting buckwheat pancakes want them because they are normally made without wheat, for people who are allergic or sensitive. I was really bummed. A young blonde "woman" who was extremely rude, made almost no eye contact. Answered what few questions I asked with a vague, holier than thou attitude. Will not be returning. We received a recommendation from our dog groomer to this restaurant. We definitely enjoyed our meal. We have since returned. We had the regular breakfast. Bacon was cooked to perfection crisp and not in the last greasy. Eggs scrambled perfectly. They aLso have a selection of delicious looking pastries. Last visit I had the 2+2+2. Which is, 2 eggs, 2 bacon and a choice of 2 pancakes. They offer 3 types of pancakes and I chose the buckwheat with blueberries. Since we live nearby we expect to become regulars here.
