Looking for someplace different for Le Breakfast we found Le Buzz after Le Search on Yelp. It seems to be a biker's (think ten speed, not Hell's Angels) haven as there were many people in and around the place clad in Le Spandex with Le Helmet and Le Bike. You order at the counter and they give you Le Number to bring Le Food when it's ready. I had the Gimme My Regular which was your basic breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries and Le Toast. Le Homefries were cold and COVERED in grilled peppers and onions. When I see homefries on Le Menu, I don't expect to get a pile of peppers and onions with slices of potato mixed in. Le Eggs were cooked well and Le Bacon was crispy. Le Wife had Le Quiche with tomato, bacon and Swiss cheese. She said it was "really, really good". Her's came with a ciabatta roll and we both got little tubs of Le Butter and some, seemingly, homemade raspberry jelly. I hardly ever eat jelly on my toast, but Le Wife told me how good it was, so I smeared some butter and Le Jelly on my nine grain toast and... Le Wow! I teetered between three and four stars just because of the jelly but Le Homefries dragged it down. As the name of the place would seem to indicate, they serve lots of Le Coffee drinks and baked goods. We did not try any of those. Le Buzz was a great find for us and probably worth going out of our way for. Look for Le Update. read more

Only been here once on a Sunday morning for breakfast and it was a disappointment. For starters, I really wanted waffles but they didn't have that on the menu. I think all bfast places should have waffles as an option). I decided to go for pancakes. The employee taking my order was not very pleasant, almost borderline rude. I asked for water, never got it. When the food arrived, the pancakes were just okay, edible but nothing great. My friend and I were super hungry so at that point anything should have tasted amazing but unfortunately it didn't. I don't think I would go here again for breakfast. While waiting in line, their pastries in the display case looked fresh and delicious and seemed to be popular amongst customers. I returned to Le Buzz this weekend and realized that my rant about my coach being able to order breakfast after I'd been told it was too late to do so was invalid. He ordered one of the few Breakfast menu items that had a bold notation next to it, "SERVED ALL DAY". So I was wrong. I'm sorry, Le Buzz. I adore your fruit cups and demi baguettes. And your egg sandwiches and oatmeal and peanut butter cookies and English Breakfast Tea. I hope we can still be friends. read more

Updating! Picking when to go (and time of year might factor into that decision) changes the climate of this cafe. I've sampled more of the menu and brought people in need of caffeine and food before going up the mountain or flying around town. (Last Buzz pun I promise.) The biscotti is crisp without being a crumbly mess, and the mugs for espresso drinks are a good size for sipping and dipping. Toast is crunchy and the bread they use is packed with seeds with a nice bite and chew. The jam is just as good an accompaniment as the butter. Fluffy eggs are a talent at Le Buzz and the omelettes have their filling folded inside, which is a definite benchmark of quality. read more

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, or maybe it's just not my thing, but once again I'm way out of step with other reviewers. I did not enjoy my experience here at all. I imagine the pastries here must be great, but I consider pastries a treat for special occasions, not breakfast food, and we had come for breakfast. Nothing on the menu really interested me. Almost all the quiches were made with Swiss cheese, which is pretty much the only kind of cheese I don't like, and most of the meals featured bacon or carnitas, and I don't eat pork. Finally, I ordered the Mt. Lemmon omelet and asked them to leave the bacon out. I guess the omelet was meant to be bacon flavored, because what I got was completely tasteless. I had to ask the server for salt and pepper as there was none on the table. The eggs looked beautiful but were sort of rubbery, and the cheese was all squished into one side of the egg so that I got an omelet that was 90% empty. (The tomatoes were mixed into the egg rather than filling it, and the avocados were on top, and neither of them added any flavor.) It simply wasn't a tasty or enjoyable meal to me. It was served with a fresh salsa that I didn't like, along with some very good bread. That was the best part of the meal. The bread was warm, but it was served with cold, hard butter that was difficult to spread. It also came with raspberry jelly, which was pretty good, although a bit sweet to my taste. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito, which he said was, by itself, also sort of bland, although this meal came with a different salsa that was quite good and managed to transform the burrito into a tasty one. The restaurant was crowded and ALL the tables were dirty. At some point in our meal some guys came out and cleared some tables, but it didn't look like any of them were cleaned. Ours certainly wasn't. Silverware and crumbs from the last patrons remained throughout the meal. Not appetizing. read more

I LOVE LE BUZZ!!! makes me feel like i'm in a san francisco cafe :) and i love sf! favorite new study place.... dont be surprised if you see lotsa people in spandex :) its not the dress code hehe. a lotta cyclists stop here before or after their trek up mt lemmon. woo! btw. they serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee drinks, and wine! i had the chicken pot pie for lunch once. it was not disappointing. it came with a side salad w. balsamic vinegar. mmm. read more

EDIT: I have deducted a star from this review because the last several limes I've been the place has been packed and I haven't been able to get a table even outside. Good food, nice staff. But there's probably been 15 times in 2016 when I would have gone there and chose another restaurant because of overcrowding. *PROS* Great food, especially coffee, bakery and sandwiches. What a very nice place! The weather was awesome but seating outside was occupied by a slew of bike riders. The food was really good! I had the breakfast sandwich. Ask for the salsa to be added or get some on the side. It adds more flavor. My wife loved the keesh. Cool note is Guy Atchley was hanging out with his nifty iPad and Jim Click had to oodle over my little baby boy on his way to the bathroom. Good people! read more

Pretty good lunch spot! Glad I drove out of my way to try it. Great coffee and a decent quiche (vegetarian options too!). The layout is a little confusing though going in the first time. They have regular individual menus but it's a order at the counter kind of place, with no big wall menu or anything. I was a bit lost at first! Super affordable and clean however! This delightful little cafe is a frequent hangout for cyclists, especially post-Mt. Lemmon. Their coffee is delicious as are the baked goods. Come for lunch to enjoy the sandwich and salad offerings. The only down-side is that Le Buzz isn't within walking distance of my home! read more

If my dad had to choose his last meal, I am 99.99% sure it would be from Le Buzz. I come here with my parents for lunch and I have to say, it has always been delicious. I always get the same thing, LA with no red peppers. It is phenomenal! as for pastries, the Le Buzz cookie, or the lemon squares are my favorites. The coffee is great as well! They recently redecorated and I think it looks great! they changed the floors and got new chairs and it just really looks nice. Its always clean and the employees are so nice! Usually since they are busy I spend time talking to my parents while waiting for our orders, but i've never felt that the food took too long. The one slightly negative thing I will say is it gets BUSY, sometimes its hard to find a table, so get in, find a table then order. But, hey if its busy that means it must be great! :D 10/10 Will go here again! read more

I hate to give out 5 stars because things can always be better--like they could offer free food. But, for the type of restaurant this is, I have seen none better. As the picture shows, you order in line and wait for your meal. The selection of pastries and for light breakfast/lunch fare is quite varied and hard to resist. We have only been there twice as we live in Oro Valley, but it is a must stop now for our birding group, whenever we go up Mt. Lemmon. Sure wish they were on the west side of town. read more

The food is really good here. If you'd like fresh ingredients and high quality food this is the place. It's perfect to have after a nice hike or light brunch. It's always busy with locals and people from many different backgrounds. The customer service is wonderful and meals are delivered promptly. The only critique I do have is animals. Yes everyone loves their dogs but that doesn't mean I love your dog. When I'm eating especially, I do not what your dog on top of me. Be conscientious of your pets. read more

I love eating here while catching up with friends whenever I come back for a Tucson visit. I remember back in high school when it was basically just a coffee house.... Le Buzz has come a long way since then. This place delivers excellent quality when it comes to coffee, pastries, and sandwiches... Everything I have ordered has been delicious! Inside the cafe, it is decorated in a clean simple manner although I prefer sitting outside enjoying the warm AZ sun. It may seem awkward to you at first to be sitting at a table nestled between Walgreen's and Safeway... I love it though, such a great people watching opportunity! read more

At the bottom of Mt. Lemmon, lies the best pastry Cafe I have ever been to. The surrounding desert landscape amplifies the gorgeous views and wonderful tastes of this quaint little bakery. Now you might be thinking, this is another positive review.... not in the slightest. Now and then, I am a customer at Le Buzz Cafe in Tucson, AZ and have grown quite fond of this establishment and the employees that work there. Except one. Everytime I go to Le Buzz I try to avoid one manager if possible. This Woman treats her staff with the absolute worse attitude I have ever seen. Everytime I happen to be there she talks to her staff in an unprofessional and degrading manner. I try and focus on the positives of the businesses I love; however, this woman is bringing down this Cafe and should be terminated immediately. Recently, I noticed the way she barks orders and demeans her employees. Last week, she was treating a male employee like a 'child' and yelling at him for making the smallest mistakes. If you harp on someone consistently, they will burnout and not want to work for you. This manager 'puts on a smile' for customers but for staff it seems like the opposite. Le Buzz ownership, do yourself a favor and choose a different manager. The woman I am referring to is Nelly or something like that. I hardly care to remember her name due to the disappointment I see on a daily. Managers should be caring, compassionate, and patient with their staff; NOT belittling, negligent, or asinine. We were so lucky to find this place in Tucson. The pastries were delicious and the coffee was fresh! The quiche was delicious and the salad greens even come with yummy oranges and lemon poppyseed dressing. The breakfast plate with eggs was also very good as was the bacon. First, I'll start with the caveat that is review is prompted by a quick stop for a coffee, mid morning and during the week. And, I clearly admit not to be a coffee elitist, slightly particularly, but not a connoisseur. And so starts the story of a 20 oz iced latté with 1% and sugar free vanilla syrup. It was offered up with little ice (a bit too little) and a flat lid with no offer of whipped cream, so not too impressive visually. The taste of the coffee was thin, without depth and very ashy tasing. The syrup used wasn't overly sweet and not a pleasing vanilla. It reminded me what I got once out of the latté machine at McDonald's--and chucked after one sip. It broke my heart a little bit to give a local coffee shop latté the same end. I do remember a nice cup of house coffee, overflowing pastry display, and a delicious oatmeal when I last went about a year ago. But the sparse 11 a.m. pastry offerings and disappointing fancy coffee was no where near what I remember. read more

I make a point of going to Le Buzz whenever I'm in Tucson. Every baked item in the place is made there; the coffee is excellent; you can sit outside (even if it is in a strip mall); and it has a great vibe. I especially ove the chocolate muffins with the cream cheese filling and the banana chocolate chip bread. I've found the service to be a bit hit and miss, but the last time I was there it was very, very good. read more

Great coffee, great food! I had the Le Buzz Breakfast Burrito, which had everything good in the world in it: eggs, bacon, potatoes, cheese and pico de gallo. It was grilled, which I thought was a bIt different, and wasn't sure I would like that non traditional approach. But I bit into it (after dipping it into the salsa that came with it on the side) and found it to be amazingly delicious. The cappuccino I got had a huge amount of foam on it and was absolutely perfect. My wife tried quiche (tomato, bacon, and cheese) and found it to be quite good. She also enjoyed her Americano. We wish this place were closer to our home, but were happy we tried it. read more
