Delicious coffee in a unique cup with all the fixings. Loved it. The music was lovely as well :)

It was such a cute restaurant. The coffee was great, and the breakfast sandwich was good. I especially appreciated the jams they have for the bread that comes with the meal. I didn't get to try the pastries, but three of them were calling my name. I must go back soon!

Such a great little spot in Claremont . Very Sunday cafe in Paris vibes . Octavio did a great job with his explanations and suggestions and I ordered a sparkling lavender lemonade and the chicken mushroom toastie which came with a very generous fresh salad. The sandwich was delightful , toasted and savory and I wish I could bottle that dressing ( it's very yummy ) I couldn't decide on desserts so I took their suggestions and ordered both the lemon tart and croissant to go . Wonderful little spot, wonderful staff, and a wonderful plate full of food . Thank you

Needed a quick bite and walked in and was seated right away. Cute decor and calm vibes. Server was very friendly and quick taking our order. Their menu has a lot of variety so I feel like they cater to a wide range of preferences. Food came out fast and everything was tasty. Perhaps our experience was better since we didn't come during peak hours but after we finished the place started to get busier. Nice option if you are in the area for breakfast/brunch.

What a gorgeous place! It's very light, airy, and fresh. My friend recommended this restaurant for our brunch meeting and it didn't disappoint. Located in Claremont, in a very popular area so parking might be an issue. Our server was nice, friendly and offered great suggestions. My pancakes were sooooooo light, with a slight crunch.. OMG.. Yummy! The large cappuccino is truly large and not an impostor. I would come here every week if I lived close enough, it's that good.

Favorite place for brunch in Claremont during fall. Love the ambiance , the trees and the coziness of the place. I ordered their cold Garvazio soup with sourdough bread. The server was very good. Be back again

Perfect spot for brunch, coffee, and pastries. Ambiance is really nice outside and inside. I used to come here a lot prior to the pandemic. My favorite dish was shrimp tartine and avocado toast. Menu is no longer the same. Friendly staff and great service. I ordered Butternut soup with Avocado toast. Simple and delicious.

I have tried this place in France as well as here and let me tell you, I would choose here any day. Used to be a regular but come back as much as I can for the same thing, Sunny Side Breakfast Bowl and the Honey Lemon Ginger drink. The service on this day was incredible, being with my wife and child, the attentiveness and enthusiasm he mess my child made was taken with smiles. The room is warm, wood filled, bustling with local conversation and students possibly working on school projects and catching up. Can't go wrong for what you want here, always delicious.

The Breakie bowl was phenomenal!!! It was packed with veggies but delish! The service was really nice and we had a great time. The ambience was good. It was kind of like a cafe but bigger and better.

Came here for a staff lunch. Lots of outdoor patio seating and inside was pretty roomy too. The type of food and pastries reminded me of an upscale panera bread and I mean that in the most respectful way. It was quite busy the day we went so it did take quite a bit for our food and drinks, but overall I had a pleasant experience. Our waiter was attentive and friendly and food was decent. I had the egg and cauliflower quiche. It came with bread and salad. I also ordered a hazelnut iced coffee and their cream donut to try. The donut was a hit as a few other people around me got it after me. The coffee was good during the first couple of sips and the salad dressing was good so I asked for extra. You'll be paying for $20+ salads here, but its a decent place to stop by once in awhile.

Went here today with a friend to grab a quick bite... We waited a while to get seated, which I let pass since it seemed they were busy. Service was okay, not bad just mediocre. The atmosphere is very cute & I love the vibe there. The food was good and everything came out correctly, but like the other reviews say, you can definitely get a plate somewhere else at a better price. BUT here is where my review goes down... When I got home, I started to feel weird..dizzy, nauseated & shaky. Long story short without all the details, I believe I got food poisoning here by the Mushroom & Gruyère Quiche. As I'm writing this, I still don't feel too good. As I was reading reviews here, I saw a few with concerns of cleanliness & food standards... just beware. I really wanted to write a good review for this place since my friend recommended it, but my experience says otherwise. :(

First time here. Cute place with outdoor & indoor seating. Indoor can accommodate big groups. There are street parking. I think there is a parking lot nearby. There are pastries for purchase. They looked delicious but didn't purchase because I was too full. Our meal was decent. The presentation was pretty (refer to pics) However, my smoked salmon was on regular wheat bread rather than sourdough (that's what was stated on the menu). If there was a change I think they should have told me. The dill was good, so it helped tie my meal together. My Matcha Latte was okay. It was kind of bland, I didn't taste any hazelnut flavor since she asked if I wanted to add it. I thought it would be interesting to try it. Our server was friendly and attentive.

I found out about this place through Too Good To Go. I wanted to try out a new place. It's such a cute restaurant! Seems like they serve brunch food and various different drinks and pastries. I got the almond croissant, fruit tart and crookie. Yum! The fruit tart had the right level of sweetness. The fruits were fresh and the coconut/almond flakes added a nice crunch. The crookie was soft inside and crunchy on the outside. It was good with my coffee. Staff was nice and I received my order fast! I would come back to sit and eat.

Such good pastries. I went into the store just to make eye contact with the desserts and in seconds I bought one of them. Your self-restraint will fail here. Everything is delicious. I finished this chocolate mousse in the car and needed another. This place will feed your addiction. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Some Crust on the Claremont Village is still my go-to place for specialty cakes…read more I ordered a 65th birthday cake for my coworker a week ago Tuesday in person. Devin helped me to fill out the order form. It's a 9 inch round black and white cake, with raspberry jam filling and buttercream frosting. My coworker is stylish and always has her hair makeup and nails perfect so I thought elegant with pink and white roses. (The gold Happy Birthday candle I added for 3D effect and was not included.) I scheduled for 7 a.m. pickup today. There was the usual morning rush at the bakery but I was still in and out of there within 15 minutes. It turned out great!! My coworker was super happy and as always the cake itself is moist and delicious, not overly sweet. Well done, Some Crust, and thank you!

We had the absolute BEST experience with Some Crust Bakery for our wedding cake and desserts…read more Everyone we worked with was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they truly LISTENED to what we wanted. They sent us several mock-ups with colors and design styles throughout the process so we could see and approve of every little detail. We did two rounds of tastings (one at the shop and another at home) and coordinating the second round to finalize our flavors was super easy. Also, they coordinated directly with our florist to incorporate live flowers that perfectly matched the butter cream florals on the cake and the flowers on my dress. Another bakery (Cucamonga Cakery... yikes) told us this would be impossible and tried to make us feel dumb for wanting it. Some Crust made it happen EASILY. They brought our vision to life and the cake was seriously stunning! And the taste is so light and fresh! Special shoutout to Gabrielle for her quick responses, positive attitude, and overall amazing service throughout the entire process. She took care of us every step of the way. Thank you!!

Based on the photos on the app and social media, I was expecting a big, thick, puffy bakery-style cookie. Instead, the cookie I received was pretty flat, thin, and only about 3 1/2 inches across. That said, once I took a bite, I was genuinely impressed. The cookie was gooey, rich, and packed with great chocolate flavor. It definitely tasted much better than it looked. One thing that was frustrating was the promotion they were advertising. There was a huge flashing sign saying you could get a free cookie if you joined the membership club, but the QR code was so tiny that my phone couldn't scan it. The code only flashed on the screen for a couple of seconds every several minutes, and it honestly didn't seem to work very well. In the end, I paid the $3.95 for my cookie and went on my way. While the presentation and promotion were disappointing, I do have to admit -- the cookie itself tasted really good. Sir was really cute. It was very small in the plaza in Claremont.
